That's officially Uncharted 3 time for me. I was given DCU as a gift, had minor interest in it, and it being given as a gift was perfect. I played for maybe half of the 30 days the game came with. It was fun, no doubt, but not amazing. I'm not an MMO player, so keep that in mind. Here's what it comes down to: Free to play: no Trophies.  you. |

I may give a try once it's F2P. It interested me when it came out, but after getting sucked in to WoW for 4 years and paying $15 a month, I didn't want to get into that again (thankfully, I finally quit WoW).

I played it for the first few months, but once I maxed out my level, it got really boring, really fast. I may go back and play a little bit until Old Republic comes out, which will likely take over my life.

I may go back and play a little bit until Old Republic comes out, which will likely take over my life. When did you last play? They've added tons since, if you got it when it first came out. They've added an instance with Penguin/Clayface/Bane, Another Instance with Ra's Al Ghul and the League of Assassins and 2 Superman/Lex Luthor instances based on the same story arch since it's launch. Plus there's a whole new Green Lantern add on pack with loads of new instances, too. I think to get the absolute most out of this game, you've got to be someone who loves collecting. I replay the same bits over and over to get enough credits to buy the armour sets. I think I've got 3 of the Mr. Freeze bits so far. That makes the game replayable to me. I think to me, the problem is, that after you got to level 30, the only thing left to do was grind the same raids, duos, and daily challenges over and over and over again. After the Sony hacking shut the game down for a month, the servers were a ghost town. Trying to find anyone for a raid was impossible. Let alone trying to find the right classes, and a lot of times you can't even go (or people won't let you in their group) unless you have upgraded all of your armor. I got very bored hanging around doing nothing, trying unsuccessfully to get into a raid for two hours. Plus, the main campaign doesn't encourage playing together at all, it's solo driven. So you spend all this time playing solo, and suddenly you are forced into having to play in large groups. The game did a bad job with forcing teamwork and multiplayer. |

I downloaded it on PS3 and I'm liking it. The queues are killing me though. I logged in today and was almost 10,000th in line.

yeah I've downloaded on PS3. Could be my new house's internet connection (which is average at best) but I've been installing for about 8hrs and it's at around 10%. hahaha. Can't wait to play but I'm afraid that won't be for a while yet.

It's a huge file too. I have an 80GB and had to clear up a decent amount of space for it.
For anyone who has played it on PS3. Any idea if I can hook a keyboard up and use keyboard controls instead of the controller?

Just downloaded it on the PC, enjoying it so far. Will probably take a serious backseat to MW3 and Skyrim, but I can see myself playing it. The MMO experience as a whole is very new for me, but I'm a huge fan of comic books, so I'll give it a good shot.

My main issue with the game is you can't be one of the DC heroes. I bought the game thinking it would be like Red Dead Redemption where there was a story that you could be the DC Universe and then the free roam where you made your own hero.

I'm enjoying the game, although I think it's best to play it in short bursts since I'm playing mostly by myself. It's definitely gonna take a back seat to Skyrim and MW3, but I'll come back to it eventually and I'll probably have fun when I do.

With COD MW3, NHL 12, TF2, and Arkham City this is kind of taking a back seat. But I will play it eventually.
