Do you guys know what i'm taking about? Those fights when someone lost so bad...they also lost a piece of their skill and will to fight for example Cain Vs. Brock...i truly believe Brock will never be the same fighter again.
More recently Diaz Vs. Penn, just look at the emotion on BJ's face after the fight!?!
What are some other "Soul Snatching Fights"?

Penn beating Matt Hughes in the first round. Sucks to watch legends end their careers in losses.

For which fighter? Silva's since when onto destroy Belfort and Okami and Sonnen made an extremely triumphant return and put on his best UFC performance in his career in completely dominating and submitting Brian Stann.

For which fighter? Silva's since when onto destroy Belfort and Okami and Sonnen made an extremely triumphant return and put on his best UFC performance in his career in completely dominating and submitting Brian Stann. I say Sonnen, simply because of how he looked after the fight. I'm not saying it "took his will to fight", more so as I'm saying the way Sonnen looked after the fight, the emotion and disappointment on his face. It clearly got to him and messed with him to work that hard, only to lose.

I'd say "soul stealing" wouldn't really apply in that case, especially seeing that it evidently lit a fire under Sonnen's ass in to add subs to his game an bring in a new coach.

Fair enough, but consider the events that happen right after the Silva loss and how easily his career could have been over.
