My choices were:
DDP - straight-faced/serious headscan - not too fussed on attire, but any 1996 heel look would be my selection Crush - Brian Adams KroniK version One Man Gang - WCW Dungeon Of Doom/red-trim attire, Akeem headscan with mohawk Arn Anderson - any mid-90s look Ted DiBiase - any mid-90s look, with a evil smiling headscan
although I would have liked to have seen more Monday Night Wars/WCW era choices on the list.

I don't mind the choices, either way I'll do my part and try to keep the Legends line alive by purchasing two of each, one for display, one for MOC collection. I hope sales will do good to justify perhaps releasing a Legends figure per month in 2013. YES! This is a scenerio were scalpers may actually benefit us. Those looking to buy the 10 fig limit on each and sell them on ebay or whatever. RSC will probably use multiple accts to get a butt load and hold em til there harder to get. SO, if the figs sell out, Mattel is HAPPY! And hopefully would do just that, One Fig PER Month! & Maybe a tag team every 1/4 (3 months) if Rockers do well.

As for the poll results only Arn was in my top 5 picks. But of the list of 16 I did say I'd get them all except DDP & Savio.
To me the perfect Sarge would have been black trunks & singlet top with USMC written on the side of the legs...no camo tshirt underneath...As that's the Sarge I started watching wrestling with.

Liz - Have to have, Macho is damn near naked without her. I would have preferred she come in a 2pack with Macho Man though prior to being a Matty Collector exclusive.
DDP - I was big fan from his WCW days but I'm not entirely sold on the scan. I will probably get this but I think it could have been better. I voted for DDP as well though.
Bundy - No interest whatsoever.
Tully & Arn - They should have been must buy, but because they are not coming together I am sort of annoyed. I'm actually not sure if I will get these now. If I knew a Windham was coming then I would probably pull the trigger knowing I could round out my favorite incarnation of the Horsemen. I was a Brain Busters fan though too so we will see how they turn out.

Mine were the following:
Bundy-I have just always liked him and Mattel has done very well with the bigger guys, so I think they can really capitalize and do a great job with this.
Crush-Demoliton Gear. Plus, Bill said that if they make a Crush, it would be in Demo gear to match Ax and Smash first.
DiBiase-White Suit With either a grinning scan or a laughing scan.
Brain Busters- Happy about these. I hope they come in Brain busters attire or I at least hope they match. Class Tag Titles wouldn't hurt either.
Doink-Chew me out on it, but I wanted Doink. Jakks did an okay job with it, but I really think Mattel could have knocked this one out of the park with how colorful his attires were.
Honorable Mention-Junk Yard Dog, Liz and DDP (I like how they did DDP. If you start from the feet, I like it all the way up to the chin. The head ruins it for me, I hope they showed an early proto and they do something to fix it).

Like PJ, I was fine with getting all of them (and I'd buy Savio and DDP too).
My personal picks were:
Tully and Arn: 4 Horsemen are essential to any collection. And these guys will work perfectly for my slowly growing tag team division for either the NWA or WWF. I'd like them to be in red or red/white tights since 80s guys tended to have more color than the more black tights attires of modern WWE stars. I'd assume they have to have their jackets, but hope they have the tag titles as well to really help them sell for people on the fence.
Barry Windham: Another Horsemen and with all the various parts to his souped up evil Horsemen attire he'd be worth the exclusive elite price.
JYD: Since we can't get Hogan yet, he's another guy to fight all those 80s heels we have so far.
Liz: A must have since we have Macho. Really happy she won.
Tito Santana: Again, another main 80s guy to face the other heels we've gotten so far.

DDP only wants his figures to have smiling scan. King Kong Bundy could turn out to be sleeper of a figure since Mattel is making the big guys perfect.
the Brainbusters Arn and Tully probably the 3rd un-announced set in tag teams 2 either way you get them they can be horsemen or brainbusters depending on jackets.
Elizabeth is long overdue, Savage will now be complete
from the ones that didn't win Junkyard Dog, Doink, Demolition Crush, One Man Gang, Million Dollar Man, Tito Santana, Jimmy Snuka might be easily inserted as Flashbacks
Faarooq, Savio Vega, Don Muraco, Barry Windham, Magnum TA might be a little tougher at retail. I'd rather see these than Dibiase and Snuka since there in the line already, out of the 12 that didn't win there are easily a few 2 packs that can be made.
I want to see all of these released at some point there are a few ways they can go with this since many of these can be inserted as 2

Elizabeth and bundy were the only two I voted for. I'll buy ddp but the brain busters are an easy pass for me.

The poll was kinda 50/50 for me. It was clearly poorly designed and obviously rigged - so I took as much advantage as I could and voted for all NWA guys as much as I could. And I got Tully/Arn.
Thankfully Tully/Arn didn't change their attires much so even if they come as Brainbusters you know I'll be using them as Horsemen baby!!! Screw the nWo - the 4 Horsemen was the ORIGINAL badasses. Very disappointed that Windham didn't win, but maybe he'll be a Flashback.
The other indirect plus is that Arn brings us one step closer to a Dangerous Alliance!
Bundy/Liz/Andre - I'll buy them because I did somewhat follow WWF in the 80s and they are all essential, but my heart was Crockett Promotions. I'm right now watching some old Clash of Champions and I'm dieing for:
"Hot Stuff" Eddie Gilbert Freebirds Steiners Midnight Express Dr. Death Mike Rotundo (would go nicely with a Barry Windham too) Lex Luger Sting

That's why you and I always get along so well Bandy!
Too bad WWE is so protective of Austin that we can't get a "Stunning" Steve anytime soon, but at least we get 2/5 of the team. Still a long way away from a full team though :-(
I think my main reason for wanting Sting to come to the WWE in February was so Mattel could make figures of him. The endless Surfer Sting variants and perfect Crow and Wolfpac versions done with Mattel quality would have been the highlight of my WWE collection.

Pretty much just Bundy, and I'm so-so on him. I'm an '80s mark, so it'll be nice to have him, as well as another big guy to have in the back row. I was really hoping JYD would make the cut. He and Big John Studd are my most wanted figures (outside of Hogan, of course). As for Slaughter, I'd love another one. I really want one in the GI Joe deco as a throwback to the mailaway bendy.
