I recently found a Skip Sheffield, got him home and opened him to find he had two left feet. I took him back for a refund. Mattels quality control is for sure lacking. Bad paint jobs, parts, etc. I have noticed this from the beginning and they have not improved it either.

this was my first 'WRONG PARTS' I have gotten a few that broke, my rsc cm punk broke at the crotch, my trs swagger leg fell off as well as my luke bushwhacker both at the weird hip joint mattel uses, it sucks that you have to spend 10 mins looking the figure over before you buy it .

Bought the Finlay and Hornswoggle 2-Pack. I've taken it out of the packaging and Hornswoggles right arm falls off.
The Toys R Us is to far away to bring it back and its to expensive to ship it to Mattel.
But I have the most problems with loose ankles. That p..... me off.

Lol I always have to compare my figures just in case of any defects.

I always try and inspect the figure as much as I can in the store before I buy it....but the way Mattel tries to "pose" most of the figures in the boxes (which I HATE), sometimes there is only so much you can see.
Plus, the way they put them in the boxes can warp the legs.
I haven't gotten a figure with wrong parts since my RA Bring The Noise Undertaker had two of the same lower leg piece. Now I try as hard as I can to make sure the figure is ok before I buy.
The most issues I have are with random black paint smudges on places of the figure that can't be seen through the box, and obviously with Elites I've experienced some pretty loose ankles.

That sucks i never got a bad fig from them and i have 50 figs at least The only problems I have had is staining. I have 30 or so figures mainly from the legends line and none of them have any joint problems just staining. My Brian Pillman fell a good 6 feet 2-3 times I guess due to where I have him when you shut the door hard he would fall and nothing good as new. Now they are all located higher up but more secure then before.

Over 70+mattels and no issues aside from some loose feet and staining. That khali is actually somewhat accurate considering he sucks at wrestling he may have two left hands

I've really only had the staining issues with my figures. The only figures that have loose joints or anything like are my Elite Trips (loose ankle) and my Basic 7 Sheamus (loose arm).

The only problems I ever had was Michelle McCool's bottom half of her leg was on backwards and the other was that some of the feet have arched soles so they don't stand up on their own w/o a display stand. I made a YouTube video explaining the foot problem with my B9 Mark Henry.

I haven't had any problem with wrong parts/broken parts, at least not yet. I do however have problems with loose waist joints. My TRU wrestlemania Rock had a really loose waist. I just ended up super gluing it. It sucks because a loose waist isn't something you can see from looking at the figure in the package, so there's no way of knowing until you actually unbox the figure.
