Could someone PLEASE tell me how in the blue Akiyama deserves co-main event status after dropping 3 in a row?? HOW?? Cause it's a Japan card, right?? Come on...Shouldn't matter where the hell it is, Akiyama clearly does NOT deserve to be anywhere near co-main event at this point. Hell, he doesn't even deserve to be on the main card!! Should be undercard from here on out for Akiyama. It's like every time the guy ing loses, they keep rewarding him. I just don't get it. Let's look at Akiyama's UFC run thus far, shall we?? He BARELY squeaks by with a razor-thin split-decision victory over Alan Belcher, which I believe he lost and so did Joe Rogan, and then he goes on to fight Chris Leben and gets tapped the out, then fights Bisping and loses a unanimous decision, and then most recently he got knocked the out in 1:52 against Vitor Belfort. Now, after reading that, I ask you, does that guy deserve to be ANYWHERE near co-main event status?? Give me a friggin' break. He should be on the undercard, but because it's a big card in Japan, all of a sudden he's back to the top again...What a in' joke. MMA is a business.

Because the time difference. ...it sounds like they're doing the Japan show during the day, so it will be live/normal time for US audiences.

Sexyama slept with Joe Silva's wife. Dude can't catch a break. haha, seriously. Not sure why they didn't give him the Dan Hardy fight. There's no fight that made more sense than that fight. Apparently Brian Stann is trying to get on the card as well, so maybe he'll finish off the card. Edgar/Henderson Rampage/ Sexyama/Shields Okami/Boetsch Stann/

Maybe they can give Stann a fight with Palhares or Belcher. I wouldn't mind those fights either.

Seems to be the only fight that might make sense for Stann now though. I think the winner or Bisping/Miller gets Munoz and the winner of that gets the winner of Anderson and Sonnen 2.

Can't wait for that fight, Edgar/Henderson should be awesome.
Great to know the UFC is putting on a great card in Japan.

One more win and Lauzon gets a title shot imo.

Lauzon vs. Pettis = early FOTY candidate

hmm, I'm not sure if one more win for Lauzon will get him a title shot. I think Melendez is next in line if he beats Masvidal. Donald Cerrone is is racking up some impressive wins, maybe Lauzon vs Cerrone if they both win their next fight.
