Pretty good fight. Who else was he going to fight? Nobody else was really available. Although, I would love to see him fight Mousasi.

Thiago Silva? His suspension is almost up. They could've easily booked that fight for Japan.
I would've also preferred to see him fight Bonnar as well. I think that fight is much more appealing that the Bader fight. Bonnar called him out, Rampage texted Dana saying he wanted that fight. I think that'd be a more exciting fight, and better from a promotional standpoint.

not sure what is so funny about a Bonnar vs. Rampage fight...
Bonnar is a very durable fighter...I think Rampage is going to run right through Bader...

We're talking about the guy who lost to Zombie Coleman.

We're talking about the guy who lost to Zombie Coleman. ...yeah - 28 months ago!. Sheesh... he admitted that fight was a wake-up call - and has since had great wins over Krzysztof Soszynski (FOTN honors too), Igor Pkrajac, and Kyle Kingsbury. Don't sleep on Bonnar - he's a tough fight for anyone. I'd have preferred Rampage Vs Bonnar too - or Shogun, if he could have been ready.

It just realized this would be in the Saitama Super Arena.
All in favor of all fights being contested in a boxing ring, blue gloves being used that night, and ground kicks being legalized, raise your hand.

I'm pulling big time for Bendo in this one. Hopefully it would eventually set up Henderson/Cerrone III for the belt!

This event looks great... Kongo Vs Hunt should be fun - and Pettis Vs Lauzon could go either way. And it'll be interesting to see Sexyama at the new weight - hopefully he can get back to winning ways. Really not sure who to root for in the main event... normally it would be Edgar - but Henderson's been one of my faves for ages. May the best man win, I guess.

I'm positive Rampage will use it as his walk-out them.

That poster is seriously fantastic. I'll have to scan around eBay for that thing down the line.
It's amazing that with all the advancements the UFC has made over the years, they insist on using some of the most embarrassing themes known to man. The typical PPV theme and TUF intro seem like they're ripped from the worst parts of a reject pile of a composer doing work primarily for a CZW tv show. I have no clue why the continue to ignore that terrible aspect of their presentation.
