I was looking for something to watch the other day and came across an old wrestling tape with shows from right after Wrestlemania 9. I was watching an old episode of WWF Superstars from April 17th 1993 and the show was kind of sad. This was the show.
Crush squash Match Headshrinkers squash Match Recap of Sherri & Luna Brawl Mr. Perfect squash Match Owen Hart v. Bam Bam Bigelow Yokozuna squash Match
With the exception of the Headshrinkers everybody featured on this episode has passed away. It was weird and sad at the same time. I miss seeing these guys.

Yeah it is sad. Myself and a couple friends were watching an old Royal Rumble from the 90s the other day and there was a part in the Rumble where literally everybody who was in at the time is now dead.

Yeah, that is sad. I don't think it's possible to watch ANY old tape from the 80's or 90's without seeing someone who is now dead.

i'm sure there was a thread on here a couple of years ago talking about certain events where the majority of performers have passed on.
It's really sad to look back and think of the amount who have passed away at such a young age.

What's worse is that I usually forget about about some of the young guys like Test and Lance Cade who passed away WAY too young.

I would put SummerSlam 90 up there too for an event where a lot of guys are gone. Maybe it's close to half of the roster on the card are passed.

I forgot what event my friend and I was watching I am thinking it was either WM6 or a 80's SummerSlam where the first 3 matches everyone had passed away including the ref and one of the commentators.

It must've been WrestleMania VI because for the first 5 or 6 matches straight, it features ALOT of dead wrestling personalities. Even the first match between Koko B. Ware vs. Rick "The Model" Martel features a wrestling related personality that is now dead. Koko's mascot Frankie has since passed away due to a house fire.... So many from that even are gone....Gorilla Monsoon, Robert Goulet, Sensational Sherri, Macho Man Randy Savage, Miss Elizabeth, Sapphire, Dino Bravo, Hercules, Big Boss Man, "Ravishing" Rick Rude, Steve Allen, Earthquake, Andre the Giant, Mr. Perfect, Referee Joey Marella and Bad News Brown.
