Prime Time 8-21-89. Loved the Piper/Rude feud during this time period Yeah, that was a good one. It would have been great if these two faced off at WM6 instead of the matches we got from them. I really enjoyed the Cage Match at MSG, it was released on a coliseum home video, I think it was called Superheroes of Wrestling.

koko b ware vs rob rechsteiner - Mid South Wrestling 03/15/1986
rechsteiner would go on to shorten his name to Rick Steiner and form a tag team with his brother. would hardly recognize him here, he is in crazy good shape and works a more animated heel style. he’s very vocal and a far distance from the tough dog style character he’d later form. they have a good back and forth but koko wins with his surprise drop kick.

I’m making my way through the Andre the Giant Collection on the Network, some real gems in there. Last night’s viewing finished up with the cage match against Kamala.

Triple H v Cactus Jack Raw is War from Madison Square Garden 22 September 1997. Was never the biggest fan of Foley but forgot how many amazing matches he had with Triple H!

Team Hogan vs Team Andre - Survivor Series 1987 My fav SSeries of all time. I liked how they kept both Hogan/Andre away from each other for a good 8 months since WM III.

Shawn Michaels v Undertaker Hell in a Cell Badd Blood 97. Brutal!! (In the good sense of the word)
Working my way through 97 just now. Forgot what a great year it really was. Shawn Michaels gets a lot of bad press for his back stage antics at the time but what a hell of a performer he was back then.

ECW N2R 94.
Benoit dropping Sabu on his neck is still hard to watch all these years later.

SSlam 93 Spectacular.
Great cage match with the Steiners/Money Inc for the belts. Also loved the brief run of Gorilla/JR in the booth during 93/94.

Just finished watching Wrestlemania 21 as I work my way through 2005. Great show, I really enjoyed it.
Gonna go out on a limb and say the original Money in the Bank match is still my favourite. As Jericho said years later it became so big it had its own PPV, but where it started shouldn't be forgotten. I agree, the build up was great and the 6 picked made the first match feel just as big as any in history.
The build up and the match itself, Taker/Orton, had me feeling at the time that the streak would be broken, and even watching it all these years later made me remember why I had such an investment in it when I was younger. I'm a huge Undertaker fan and this was the first year they really highlighted the "streak" to a big extent, so I really hoped it wouldn't end. But Randy had me worried he'd be the guy to do it. It was a really great match, Chokeslam into the RKO spot was done perfectly and Cowboy Bob Orton with the cast after his involvement at the Smackdown a few days earlier was sweet!
