Hulk Hogan vs Big Boss Man - SNME 5/89 - By the time they had this match they had the formula down pretty solidly. Even though this is the famous one, I prefer the version from MSG just before Mania V. The version from Boston Garden isnāt too bad either. It was the same day as the MSG show, but instead of the blue bar cage, they used a mesh cage.

Anarchy Rulz '99 and KOTR 1995, currently getting thru KOTR 1997 as I type.
Prefer to watch things chronologically but I need to get in the habit of actually leaving ratings for my purchases.

In honor of Mr. Wonderful: Paul Orndorff vs Hulk Hogan (Saturday Night's Main Event - OCT 1986) Paul Orndorff vs Hulk Hogan (The Big Event - AUG 1986) Tried to find their cage match but couldn't

Rock/Austin Mania 15, it was alright. Not as good as X7 or 19. But Corporate Rock is always a joy.

Rock/Austin from '99 might be the best example. For the Mania 15 match on it's own it's good. But compared to the following two Mania matches I find it boring in comparison. While I prefer Mania 19 to Mania 17 I say the Mania 17 Rock/Austin match is the best one. The Patriot was mad underrated. Also shout out to Ground Zero for being where Shawn and Taker first faced each other.

You poor soul, King of the Ring 1995 is literally the worst thing to ever be a thing in the history of things.

Rock vs HHH in front of a hot crowd...š. Absolutely caned the snoozer we got at WM16 with too many cooks in the kitchen.

When we get a good show we get a good f*cking show) features the best iron man match ever, with the exception of maybe Lesnar/Angle in '03. The Rock and Triple H in 2000 were the best in the world. The Mania 12 iron man match is one of my all-time favorite matches but it wasn't no where near as thrilling as the Judgment Day 2000 match.

Wrestlemania X-Seven. Iām pretty proud of myself right now. Over the past few years Iāve been watching the entire MNW starting at BATB 96. A lot of this stuff I hadnāt seen since I was a kid. Itās pretty cool to witness the Attitude Era come full circle.

Hulk Hogan vs Big Boss Man - Boston Garden January 1989. These two worked well together, had some really good matches. Still odd that a year later they would be friends. More Orndorff: Orndorff vs Roddy Piper - MSG 1985 just after WM1. Loved these two together, should have gotten more from them. Orndorff vs Sgt Slaughter - 1984 at the The Brain 's favorite arena. Really liked this matchup, I never realized they worked together. Really good match. Orndorff was tremendous as the heel and man, Sarge was over like crazy here. Also interesting to see Slaughter show some charisma. Good work from both guys.

Re-watched Lesnar vs Angle at WM19 after hearing Angle break it down on his new podcast. I'll probably be going back and following along as I catch up with his podcast.
I hope that Angle is appreciated as the greatest wrestler ever. Dude is a living legend.

King of the Ring 98. The tag between Al Snow and an early Too Cool was fun.
And can someone stop the damn match!

Decided to watch WWF Rawās and PPVās from Austinās debut so working my way through 96. There is something quite charming about the one hour format. Some pretty big matches for the time period too.
Watched the Royal Rumble 96 last night. Crazy to think that Austin was such an also ran in this Rumble. I didnāt even notice him being eliminated. Hope the WWF do something with him, would be a shame to waste such a talent!!

But earlier in the match he was thrown over the top rope and lost his grip and hit the floor. I remember Austin mentioning something about this, apparently a number of guys had too much body oil/baby oil on and it got on the ropes and Austin lost his grip because of it.

Thatās pretty interesting. Iām so used to his brawling style, that I forgot how good he was in his early run.
