I bought for sets for customs. Already used the red kneepads on Nikolai for my Hogan.
Don't know what I'm doing with the rest though.
I used that Orton for a Ric Flair in green trunks in the past.
You can add the Entrance Greats Piper head to that Piper for a much better looking Elite Piper (in my opinion).

Damn it. They're full price again? I was going to Toys R Us last night, however, when i got there they were closed down :/ Hadn't been in a while, but I had no clue. They must've moved from to the town centre where the new Toys R Us recently opened. That must be why it closed down. Suck though, cause the town centre is like an hour from me, while their previous location is about 30 minutes. Pisses me off. Went to Starbucks afterwards and drank away my sorrows with a venti vanilla bean frappuccino.

I seriously don't understand why TRU bothers pricing these above $15. Cut your losses and bounce them between $13 and $15. Do anything you can just to get rid of these things finally.

i really wish they would have chose better tag team sets or rivalry sets instead of who they did. people who were more recognized, so they would actually sell. it sucks cuz i'd love to see more legends 2-packs, but after how badly these flopped, who knows. the rockers are great, if they were released retail, they woulda been huge.
imagine this Series 2 2-packs Bret Hart/Jim The Anvil Hawk/Animal (RED LOD ATTIRE) M$M/IRS (money INC)
i think all 3 of those would have sold very well....
or hell...even instead of releasing them singles, put them in 2 packs... Bossman/Akeem Warrior/Savage

It's easy to assume other pairings would have saved the line, but I honestly think the biggest flaw was that they seriously over produced the sets. I've lost count of how many times my TRU store has restocked these things. Every time they seem like they're about to sell out, the shelves end up overflowing again.
Without a doubt, if they had tested the waters with a more limited run, the sets would have sold out long long ago.

I think it was both the overproduction and price. People just don't spend 30$ on toys now. I know hardcore collectors will say yes they do but in reality they only buy the ones they really want.

True story, I would love to add the Bushwackers to my collection, but for $30??? I'm having a hard time deciding if I want to spend $24 on Undertaker and Bret Hart, who are two of my all time favorites. Even at the $16 range, I would love to have Akeem and George Steele but I would rather get someone more relevant.

They really did have three big strikes against them - overproduction, character selection, and price.
Toys R Us really needs to drop the prices on these as low as possible and cut their losses. I went to TRU at the very end of their Black Friday sale just to see what was left, and there wasn't even a dent put in the supply of these. There are still cases upon cases setting on top of the aisle.
At around $10, I'd probably be tempted to pick up a couple more sets just for parts. At $24.99, TRU is going to be stuck with these sets until the end of time.

Bossman/Akeem Warrior/Savage I honestly do not know why the Rockers or Legion of Doom were not released in this set. When I think of legendary tag teams, the Bushwhackers and Iron Sheik & Nikolai Volkoff sure as hell do not come to mind.
