"It’s go time!" says Matt Steel.
Thunder and Malakai begin duking it out in the ring. Super Brawl VII. The place where it all ends. In the back by the curtain, Samael is leaning against a production container watching the match on the television. Ideally, he wants to keep the match fair without his presence being felt too much. He hates Malakai. He hates Yukio. He hates Thunder. However, it was Yukio and Malakai that were able to muscle Samael out of the picture so Malakai could essentially steal what was rightfully Thunders. As much as he hates Thunder, justice is key in the eyes of Samael. If he can keep it fair for Thunder, he will.
Just like that though, almost the second the match starts, Yukio is in the ring making an attempt to turn the odds in the favor of his hand picked Malakai.
Go time.
Samael books it from the gorilla all of the way down to the ring and spears Yukio, much to the enjoyment of the fans. Samael tosses Yukio out of the ring and takes him over the barricade and takes the fight into the crowd. Up the stairs and out into the mezzanine the two go. Samael chucks Yukio into a vending machine and continuously smashes his head into the machine. He then picks up Yukio and begins dragging the near lifeless body towards the locker room area. Yukio now begins to fight back though. He grabs a conviently placed tray and cracks Samael in the head.
The bad blood between these two is ever evident. Samael retaliated and punched Yukio in the jaw and backed him near one of the exit doors in the back. Yukio tries to punch Samael, misses. Samael grabs ahold of Yukio and kicks open the door, throwing him out of it.
"You brought this on yourself, Yukio. You started this whole situation with Thunder and Malakai and you threw me under the bus to get your way. But I’m back and I’m proving to you the wrong you did. You betrayed the wrong man, and now this man’s going to make sure you’re out of this company for good," says Samael, the fire in his words.
"Truth be told, Super Brawl VII was a defining moment for me. I didn’t have a match or anything of that caliber…so far as anyone knew, I was still missing in action, a possible casualty in the seemingly neverending war between Thunder and Yukio Blaze, but to be able to take out the man that tried to cost me my career almost a year ago…that made it special. Yukio Blaze put into my ear that he could aid me in getting what I wanted so desperately, the WFWF International Championship. For over a year I had an undefeated streak going prior to my clash with Ace Bennett however long ago that was. But then the truth was revealed, and I can’t say I was surprised. Yukio had ulterior motives and was just using me as his pawn. His true pick was Shawn Malakai, the man I had at one time almost considered a friend. So to be able to go after the man, Yukio Blaze, when the cameras weren’t on made it that much better."
"People had already seen the treacherous sins one vile man named Yukio Blaze had committed along with his glorified henchman Shawn Malakai against Thunder. The people had finally seen their precious ‘Random Hero’ for what he really was, a coward, a snake in the grass. I mean, I saw it from the get go, but I was kind of hoping I could use that to my advantage to get what I wanted. It didn’t work out so much for me. Alright…it backfired and burned me pretty bad. But the truth be told, I can’t say that I’m bitter after what happened at Super Brawl. Truthfully I had no real investment in who won versus Thunder and Shawn Malakai; after I had gotten my revenge on Yukio I was secretly hoping someone’d impale the other with one of Schneiders stakes that surely were somewhere to be found."
"But to get my hands on Yukio for the first time in months, since I was burned by that vile piece of scum…it gave me a feeling that I can only describe as euphoric, and frankly I would say that that’s easily the understatement of the century. And the fact that all of this happened off the canvas so to say made it that much better. No one was watching…and that was for the best. It was him and me, one on one and he got his, and it felt good to let him have it."
"Frankly though, the vendetta I had towards Yukio was kind of the fuel that was causing my fire to keep burning. Now that I’ve effectively eliminated him from the equation, and Shawn Malakai seems to have disappeared quicker than Braden Munroe after he becomes number one contender, I’m not even sure if I really want to be here in the WFWF anymore. I’m no longer interested in any of the titles. I’ve fulfilled the one goal that’s been the thorn in my side for a while, so what is there really left to do? I’m not a fan of the vanity of professional wrestling. It doesn’t interest me to go into some kind of high profile feud with Michael Kyzer over the WFWF Championship. It doesn’t interest me to try and force Alex Sean into a permanent retirement. It doesn’t interest me to prove to Phillip Schneider who the real king of the deathmatch is."
"I guess I’m going to take it week to week. See what the future holds for me. At least I have a little bit of a challenge presented to me this week in Oscar Conrad Davidson. This kid’s been quite impressive since his debut. He was on quite the hot streak at one point, he had even earned himself a WFWF International Championship number one contendership match versus Thunder that he ultimately lost, but the point still stands. Luckily for me though, he’s been on the opposite of a hot streak. A cold streak. He’s dropped multiple matches in a row, including him getting destroyed in the Memorial Cup match at Super Brawl by the hands of Cam Nitta. "
"I’m not very worried though. He’s got talent, but I’m better. I’m aware of it. He’s aware of it. Everyone’s aware of it. I’ve proven that while I’ve faltered once or twice, I cannot be overtaken, and OCD is going to find that out first hand at Loaded. Let him come out with a sense of confidence, and let me prove it to be a false sense. Let him come out and have the best of intentions for himself, and let me shatter those intentions and dreams. Maybe one day he’ll get himself back on track, but I have to apologize to the kid, because this match won’t be that saving grace for him. Let’s just hope it’s enough to keep my interest to stick around."
