I think Jones will win, but I'm pulling for Lyoto.

Jon Jones (c) Vs Lyoto Machida - Third Round TKO
Frank Mir Vs Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira - First Round KO
Tito Ortiz Vs Antonio Rogerio Nogueira - Unanimous Decision
Claude Patrick Vs Brain Ebersole - Unanimous Decision
Mark Hominick Vs Chan Sung Jung - First Round TKO
First time I have ever gone against Machida. He is my favorite fighter, although it can be a toss up between him and Anderson whenever they fight. But really, no one gets me like Lyoto Machida. With that being said Jon Jones just defended his LHW title against Rampage a few months ago, and it looks like he is here to stay. I love Jones though. Been a fan since he was DQ'd against Hamill. So this fight with Bones and Machida hurts a lot. But at the end of the day I want Machida to win, and win BIG! Will he? He could. He's a huge underdog and he won't just stand there with Jones letting him tee off. It's not impossible for him to win, but is it physically impossible for Lyoto to get inside through Jones' the reach? How can Machida be Machida and leap in a out without being tagged all night? At the very worst, I hope Machida at least gives Jones a good fight and doesn't get stopped, but Jones is an animal. If Jones wins, he will be my new number one at 205, but no one will ever take the place as my all time favorite fighter in Lyoto The Dragon Machida.
Mir vs Big Nog, I really think will go the same way as the first fight. Only chance Nog has to win this, is if he takes this to the ground. On the feet, Mir will still have the significant advantage.
Hopefully for Little Nog he takes this. I think if he loses this he will be on a three fight losing skid. I heard Tito said he will stand with Rogerio, but if Rogerio starts to win the fight there, I'm damn sure Tito will take it to the ground. With that being said, I see Tito taking it in the end.
I hate to go against the Brazilians, let alone Machida. But I'm preparing myself for the worse.

Interesting(?) side note: Frank Shamrock will cornering Brian Ebersole at UFC 140 - it will be the first time he's attended a UFC event since 2002 (...watch out, Dana...). Jon Jones (c) Vs Lyoto Machida Frank Mir Vs Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira Tito Ortiz Vs Antonio Rogerio Nogueira Claude Patrick Vs Brain Ebersole Mark Hominick Vs Chan Sung Jung I hope I'm wrong about Mir/Nog - I'd love Nog to get the win but I just have a nagging feeling that Mir will repeat. I can't see Machida - or anyone in the division - beating Jones... he's in a class of his own.

Tonight's the night. I am unusually excited for the card... like, for real. Both Nogs being on it is probably why I'm hyped. Hope it's a good one.

The feeling I get is if Jones hits him once, he's dead. Lyoto's gotta be untouchable to win.

I think once Jones gets him down, it's going to be the beginning of the end.

clarke by ko, hecht by dec, bocek by sub, watson by dec, makdessi by ko, phillipou by dec, pokrajac by dec
hominick by sub, ebersole by dec, tito by dec, mir by ko, jones by ko
bocek/lentz, makdessi/hallman and phillipou/hamman should all be awesome on the undercard. im still intrigued by walel watson.
i dont want the nogs to go out that way, but alas i think they do. i think big nog has a better shot, he showed he still got strength in his hands, so all he has to do is catch him getting anxious like he did vs schaub... but mir fights more under control than schaub. so meh. of course... tito is who he is too, anything can happen with him too.
as for machida/bones... i think bones is one of the top 3 p4p in the world right now. i dont necessarily think anyone else has him there yet, but i think they will after tonight. 3 straight finishes of rua, rampage and dragon... yaowa.

bocek tried to wrestle his way to that round 1. i gave it to lentz, he was striking from the bottom, and that arm in guillotine was tight. theyll give it to bocek based on being on top though.

way to get out of that choke... that was a tough round to score. 19-19... i thought striking was fairly even, that choke was tight.

the 30-27 looks bad on paper, but the 2nd and 3rd were both close. if you value striking over the chokes, you couldve given both to jabouin. obviously i didnt... but yea.
