I guess Rogan has never bothered to look at any of Zombie's kickboxing fights. He's a great striker.

I guess Rogan has never bothered to look at any of Zombie's kickboxing fights. He's a great striker. yea, he was ragging him pre-fight... "i dont think hes on the level of hominick's striking". oops. i love rogan, and couldnt imagine watching a ufc fight without him... but hes definitely got his biases. i mean he was blatant with couture, and didnt shy away from admitting that one... but he definitely comes into most fights with a guy he wants to win, and always seems to lean towards that guy. |

rd 1 to patrick, i liked his strikes a little better, though i think ebersole landed more... and then of course the choke. it was tight, it may not have been dangerous to ebersole, but it was still tight.
rd 2 to claude again, based on the strikes. i realize ebersoles cage work, and how tiring it is, but im leaning claude in both rounds.

Ebersole has pretty good takedown defense, but this fight is a little weird. I think both guys skills are exactly the same, so they cancel eachother out.

Hard to call, not the most exciting fight, but you've got appreciate the technique on display, I enjoyed watching it at least. I thought Ebersole tapped, but maybe I imagined it.

this was a grappling clinic. if you dont appreciate this type of fight, then i could see you calling it boring... but these two guys were just very evenly matched.
29-28 patrick... i give the 3rd round to ebersole, due to none of those sub attempts really being close, and then ebersole dictating position for 3-3 and a half minutes of that round.
very intrigued to see where the judges go on this one... all 3 rounds are up for debate.
