I am guessing that I already know the answer to this, but is there any way to switch a complete (head and arms included") upper torso on an Elite without splitting it? I only ask because I have ruined every figure I tried to split, by either ravaging the seams to the point that they won't fit back together or leaving the arms ridiculously loose, or leaving stress marks all over the place.

Bill, hot water is the key... Most figures sitting in hot enough water for 5 minutes will just come apart w little effort. Sometimes I've melted the glue to where the torso just slid apart with a little tug.
What I do, is heat a large cup of water in the microwave for 3-4 minutes, till its boiling hot, then take the cup out of the microwave and soak my figures torso in the water for about 5 minutes. And then I use a flathead and exacto blade and take it apart, if it don't go easy, stop , reheat water, resoak figure and go again. Hope this helps
