#1 has to be CM Punk winning at MITB and leaving with the belt, #2 is the promo he cut on RAW, and #3 has to be The Rock returning.

For me, it was without a doubt Christian winning the World Heavyweight title. Christian, Edge and Jericho have been among my top 5 since growing up and I was really, REALLY rooting for Christian to finally get gold come his return in 2010 (?). It seemed like a pipe dream until his match against ADR. That, and his back and forth with Randy was the most emotional I got this year. Damn, there was a time when I wanted to rip Randy's face off!
Other moments:
- Rock's return. he was never my favourite of all time or anything, BUT the guy personifies 'my generation' and I really really enjoy him. His music hitting on RAW that night, followed by one of the best promos I have ever witnessed was jizz in my pants substance.
- CM Punk promo. I remember telling my friend who vaguely likes wrestling how great CM Punk's promo was and how it will change the face of wrestling yada yada. Alas, not much changed overall but CM Punk is now the best thing in wrestling.
- CM Punk MITB. Wouldn't in a million years have called that. One of the best nights as a fan. Hell the whole PPV was markout central; ADR win, DB win, Christian win, Punk win. Best PPV in recent memory IMO.
- Edge's retirement was hardly a 'highlight'. Plus, it was slowly drawn out, so it wasn't as shocking as it could have been. It was perhaps the most relevant though, thank god christian was able to fill that huge void he left when he retired!

CM Punk winning the WWE Championship at Money in the Bank in Chicago. Especially because I was there live.

The Rock returning in January has got to be the best. Punk vs Cena at MITB and Kane Returning with the Mask are up there too.

Punk escaping the arena with the belt. The moment he knocked ADR's head off and jumped out of the ring I thought I was dreaming.
