WWE Champion CM Punk appeared on 98 Rock in Baltimore, Maryland earlier this week. Below are some highlights and the audio:
- Punk said more of the same about The Rock returning to WWE and then leaving again. Punk expressed frustration that he's the only person in the locker room pissed off about it.
- Punk talks about changing WWE and thinks he still has years left to get it where he wants.
- He said there was a plan for the RAW General Manager to be revealed but wouldn't say who.
- Punk said Alberto Del Rio was a victim of the system and should have won the World Heavyweight Title at WrestleMania. Punk added that WWE is notorious for "cutting the throat" of some of their younger talents.
- Punk admitted he is beat up but not in "crippling pain."
- The WWE Champion said he is not in a relationship and is single.

I think the Anonymous General Manager storyline shoulda been treated better, instead of fading into nothing. and of "oh well its there".
Its just gonna be one of the WWE mysterys.
I agree also with Del Rio, I think even if he was going to lose it should of had been later in the card and not the first match of the night.

yeah Raw anonymous GM was done very poorly. Kinda just disappeared when Laurinitis took over.

There was no excuse to just drop it after MONTHS and MONTHS and not give us something. Even if it was a letdown at least it would've come to a conclusion.

is it just me, or can you see punk getting into trouble about the rock comment If punk can get away with some of the stuff he's already said, i'm sure he's bullet proof. Not like he said anything wrong |

It was horrible. It could have easily been HHH, Foley, or even Laurinitis running things all along backstage. Had it been any of them, it could have been forgotten fairly quickly, with HHH going back to wrestling, Foley saying he's done what he can, or Laurinitis just not being annoymous anymore now that he's official. It could have had a closure people could have respected instead of acting like people are stupid and just forget.

The anonymous RAW GM wasn't poorly done , it was poorly finished and by that i mean drawn out too long and abandoned. I think it would have been great to have it had been Mick Foley. He couldn't reveal himself bc he was also working as the "network" for TNA. However, that would require Vince being willing to admit TNA exists . . .

Many storylines have been abandoned!
The Raw GM, which I still want closure to when Jericho comes back.
Nexus, Punk deserted them because his contract was going to end???
At least Corre had some closure..
