Anyone have memories of a game that you played as a kid that no ones heard of? For me it's this game. I remember playing this on Windows 95 when I was like seven years old and spending hours trying to create stories using the various pre made animations. It was fun because you got to choose different scenes, music tracks and sound effects for your scene and if you were creative you could make something really cool. I never managed to make anything good though. Thinking about it kind of makes me want to play it again for nostalgia.

Loved it as a kid! I still want to play it again. I loved Tomba. I remember buying Tomba 2 with one of my friends and he looked at me like I was an idiot. "What the hell game is that?!" Along with Tomba, I played a game called Bubsy for SNES. I loved that game.

Just bought it off Marketplace. Bringing back memories. Yes, it was a Sega All Star on the Dreamcast, but I doubt many off the street will remember this game.

Bugdom. It was a PC game that was installed on my school's computers at the time. I actually loved it so much as a kid I purchased one for myself.

Speaking of cartoon makers.... My first PC was a Packard Bell. It came with a bunch of childhood-friendly games such as this, Toonland, and then some weird ones like Journeyman and some awful fighting game I can't recall. My favorite old 90s PC game that I played is one that has sadly been lost to time. I asked the question on here before years ago, but nobody knew what game it was. It was about an eskimo who had to collect these 3 trinkets. The perspective was semi-overhead, and the screens were static boards. I have idea what this game is called, and it kills me because I LOVED this game. It must've been a small time obscure one. I wish I could find it again. Mole Mania. This was made by Miyamoto. I did a video review of it earlier this year, and I found the game to be absolutely a joy to play. Mole Mania needs a 3DS sequel (or VC release!) Overblood.Pipppppoooooooooooooo! Watch Game Informer's Replay of this game and prepare to laugh your ass off. A bunch of grown men riffing on a game that has the most unintentionally hilarious dialog and scenes is absolutely hysterical. Rocket Knight Adventures.I don't really think this one is THAT obscure, but it's failed to appear on the Genesis compilations, so it might be on its way. They did a brand new download game on PSN/XBL, but I've yet to play it aside from the demo. This game...it's awesome. Really well done and challenging. Little Nemo: The Dream Master. This game, like Adventure Island, had the whole ride-on animal thing that was big in the 90s. Fun game! The visuals are unique and colorful, too. Nightstalker. Not obscure by any means if you're a fan of Intellivision as I am, but today, this classic is totally disregarded. Burgertime is still fairly well known despite not being a staple NES game, but this one, which is just as good, has kinda fallen off. It's really fun, and as you destroy more and more robots, they begin to upgrade themselves. The very last robot is invisible. Never got to him. In the 90s and some of the 2000s, when you went to the video store, you often had to choose a game at whim. What looked cool? What had good boxart? What had an interesting description on the back? Sometimes you took a gamble and got a really sucky game. Sometimes? You found a new cult favorite.
