Anyone else think they're going to revoke Daniel Bryan's World Heavyweight Championship from him? I remember one of the rules for cashing in Money in the Bank is that both competitors must be standing up for the match to start, in which case Big Show never had the chance to do. Bryan went straight for the pin after Show got hit with that DDT and he won it. I'm not sure if the WWE is going to address this, because they sometimes disregard things, but what do you guys think?
I can see it happening. Why would they have Bryan announce that he would cash in at Wrestlemania only to have him cash it in now? They already revoked his cash-in on Henry. Maybe their plan is to continue to have him cash in only to have it taken away from him until he does it at Wrestlemania.
I love Daniel as Champ, however, I feel sticking by his announcement to cash in at Wrestlemania would have been much better.

Tbh I was expecting that to happen during his celebration.
But it seems like it's gonna stick though, with Big show walking off and giving that heartbroken stare back at him. I definitely see it leading to Daniel or Show turning heel on each other. I;'m genuinely curious to see how they're gonna handle this whole situation on Smackdown this week.

It's gonna stick. It's just one of those things you have to get used to. Wrestling is not perfect. On the contrary. Wrestling is so very imperfect. But I love it none the less.
I thought it was hilarious that Punk had on handcuffs that were obviously self-releasing. Walgreens brand.

I also think Bryan will keep his belt. I don't even recall that rule to the MITB. Has everyone who was cashed in on been standing up? I thought Taker and Edge never stood up when Edge and Punk cashed in on them..

Bryan will be able to keep the title. Don't have to look back much further than SummerSlam this past August for a similar cash-in. Punk was still down from the Nash Powerbomb when Del Rio cashed in.

Yeah these two examples here show that they got less and less strict with that particular rule.

I had never heard of that rule until Bryan tried to cash in on Henry.

I had never heard of that rule until Bryan tried to cash in on Henry. A while back Miz tried to cash it in on sheamus but he was unable to get up to his feet so the ref called it off. Did Under taker and edge have like short match when he cashed it in? I recall him hitting taker with two spears. And Punk also waited for edge to get to his feet.

When Edge cashed in on Taker, Taker was on the floor. Taker kicked out, hence the spears. When Punk cashed in on Edge, Edge was on his knees, but he was conscious.
inconsistencies I guess.

If anything, Bryan turned heel tonight. He said earlier that he wouldn't cash in cheaply as he did and others in the past because those didn't earn it. He gave an honest explanation why he was a hypocrite for cashing in on Henry because Henry tried to end his career and he wanted to get payback.
Here we have Show who has been nothing but a friend to Bryan, being in his corner and offering him a shot to cash in on Henry before. Now that Show is knocked out, Bryan uses his shot on the new champion who's been working on taking out Henry for the better part of the fall? Doesn't make much sense unless Daniel did in fact turn heel tonight but we were just too excited to care.
Teddy didn't come out because he still had a boner.

I had never heard of that rule until Bryan tried to cash in on Henry. But the reason they revoked the one on SmackDown was because Henry was not cleared to compete.
