Progwd & wwfentertainment presents... WWE 2011-12

The show starts off with Daniel Bryan making his way down to the ring with his new World Title round his waist. He cuts a promo talking about how he finally achieved his dream and how everybody doubted he could do it. This cause Mark Henry to come down to the ring, Mark says that Daniel Bryan is only World Champion because he took down Big Show and that Bryan just picked up were Mark left off and how he doesn’t deserve that title Mark does. Mark says that he is invoking his rematch clause tonight. This makes the Big Show to come out, he said that he is the former champion and should get the rematch. Teddy Long interrupted the argument to say that tonight it will be Mark Henry vs The Big Show and the winner will face Daniel Bryan at the royal rumble. All 3 men stare at each other as Smackdown goes to a commercial break.

Teddy Long is standing in his office when David Otunga burst’s in and demands to know why he has been treated this way over the past few weeks. Teddy says that it because of his big mouth and if he was smart he would shut it before any more trouble happens, but Otunga continued to argue forcing Teddy to organise a match later on against Randy Orton.

Intercontinental Champion Cody Rhodes vs Justin Gabriel in a non title match.
Cody Rhodes has been on a winning streak as off late and looked to continue it against the high flying Justin Gabriel. The match was very faced paced but it was put to an end when Cody Rhodes hit the Alabama slam, all he had to do after that was finish him off with the crossroads to get the victory. After the match Cody assaulted Justin Gabriel forcing Booker T to break it up, after delivering left and rights he went for the book end but Cody Rhodes ran from the ring escaping his rival once again.

Ted Dibiase vs Epico
Before the match started the referee banned Primo and Rosa from ringside as they had been interfering too much in previous matches, this left Epico all by himself to fight Ted Dibiase. Ted Dibiase had the upper hand for most of the match but even though Primo and Rosa were banned from ringside it didn’t stop Jinder Mahal from standing outside, this caused Ted Dibiase to turn his back on Epico who then hit the backstabber for the win. Epico celebrated as Jinder Mahal smiled at ringside.

Divas Champion Beth Phoenix w/ Natalya vs Alicia Fox in a non title match
Alicia Fox has been getting on the divas of doom’s nerves recently and this was Beth Phoenix’s time to show her that she shouldn’t be messed with. It was a very back and forth match that even went to ringside which cause Alicia Fox to be slammed into the barricade. Beth thought she had it when she hit a huge supplex but when Alicia got up she instinctively kicked Beth in the stomach and hit a Scissor Kick knocking Beth down and pinning her for the 3 count. Alicia ran out of the ring before Natalya could grab her and danced her way up the ramp.

Sheamus vs Hunico
Sheamus has been on a roll and nothing seems to be stopping him only one question remains can he step up and move towards a world title match. This was a very quick match purely to put Sheamus over. The turning point was when Hunico slapped Sheamus causing the hot head to go into his destructive mode and finished Hunico off with a brogue Kick and Celtic cross.

David Otunga vs Randy Orton
David Otunga getting himself into trouble again and this time it is against the viper Randy Orton. Randy Orton controlled the entire match punishing Otunga, but Wade Barrett distracted Orton allowing Otunga to get back to his feet and hit the verdict to get the surprise win. David Otunga slowly got to his feet and started to celebrate but didn’t notice Randy Orton behind him with a ferocious look on his face Otunga turned around and was slammed to the ground with an RKO. Otunga was then dragged to the outside and put onto the table, Randy Orton then jumped onto the table and hit an RKO but the table didn’t break, Otunga rolled onto the floor as doctors rushed to help him.

1# Contenders Match
Big Show vs Mark Henry with Daniel Bryan at the announce table.
Both these men wanted their titles back but only one of them would get a chance to fight for it. It was a back and forth match, Big Show focused on Mark Henry’s leg and Mark focused on Big Shows injured hand. The match came to an end when both men stepped outside and the ring and started to brawl, it went all the way to the 10 count and neither man got back in the ring but they kept on fighting. Mark pushed Big Show into the steps knocking him down and then turned his attention to Daniel Bryan who was sitting at the announce table, Mark grabbed him but Big Show made the save hitting Mark with a knockout punch allowing Daniel Bryan to escape. Big Show celebrated as Smackdown faded away.

David Otunga and Christian walk down to the ring at the beginning of the show and Otunga points out the fact that Christian wasn’t fit to compete on Monday and Teddy Long should have been there to stop the match because Christian is Smackdown talent. Christian takes the mic and talks about how he is going to sue Teddy and this company for everything they have because he is being treated wrong and it started ever since he won the World title back at extreme rules. Teddy Long interrupted the duo and said that Christian may not be able to compete but Otunga has no problems what so ever. Teddy Long says that up next Otunga will face the great white Sheamus, Otunga paces from side to side shouting at Teddy as Smackdown fades to a ad break.

Sheamus vs David Otunga w/ Christian
Sheamus controlled the match throwing Otunga all around the ring hitting him with various moves. David Otunga had a change to get back in it when Christian distracted Sheamus but this only made Sheamus mad and he hit the Irish Curse followed by the brogue kick for the victory.

Backstage Kelly Kelly and Eve are talking to each other about the fatal four way match tonight determining the number one contender for the royal rumble. Suddenly, Natalya and Beth attack them both beating them to the ground. Kelly starts to cry on the floor and Eve seems to be knocked out.

Grudge Match
Ted Dibiase vs Jinder Mahal
These two have been interfering with each other’s matches for weeks and now it’s time to put up or shut up as they go face to face. Jinder Mahal started off the match the stronger of the two but after a while Ted Dibiase was able to fight back and throw Jinder out of the ring, Jinder Mahal slowly got back up but Ted was there he tried to throw him into the steps but Mahal reversed it Ted went into the steps instead. Dibiase slowly rolled into the ring before he got counted out but Jinder Mahal quickly hit with the Full Nelson Slam followed by the camal cluth for the win.

Brie is warmed up with Nikki when the Divas of Doom burst in and attack Nikki and Brie, Brie was able to escape and runs towards the ring. The 1# Contender’s match is up next.

1# Contenders Match for Divas Championship
Alicia Fox vs Brie Bella
With Nikki, Eve and Kelly Kelly all not making it Alicia Fox was going to be the winner by default until Brie stepped in to replace Nikki. Brie used a lot of dirty tactics to stay in control but Alicia Fox used her determination to pull through by hitting an Axe Kick for the win. After the match Beth and Natalya tried to attack her but she was able to escape the ring before it was too late.

Epico and Primo vs Titus O’Neil and Percy Watson
The two NXT rookies had a chance to step up on Smackdown by facing Epico and Primo. Titus O’ Neil and Percy Watson fought hard but Epico and Primo used their speed and dirty tactics to get the victory. Primo rolled Percy up and stuck his feet on the ropes for leverage for the three count. Epico and Primo slid out of the ring quickly as Percy and Titus looked on with disappointment.

Big Show walks into Teddy Long’s office to see what will happen after the draw last week. Teddy explains that at the Royal Rumble there will be a triple threat match for the world heavyweight championship but Big Show shouldn’t worry about that because he has the tag team main event with Randy Orton as his partner.

Mark Henry and Wade Barrett vs Big Show and Randy Orton w/ Daniel Bryan
Daniel Bryan staying in Big Show’s corner tonight after being saved by him last week but he will have to get used to being alone as he has to be in the triple threat match at the rumble. Orton started the match off with Mark Henry who over powered him and then the double team on Orton started as Henry and Barrett made quick tags each warring Orton down. Orton was able to fight back after hitting Barrett with an Olympic Slam, Orton crawled to Big Show for the big who dominated Wade Barrett but Mark Henry got involved causing all four superstars to enter the ring leaving only Barrett standing who was able to lift up Big Show and slam him down with a Wasteland for the victory.

After the match Barrett tried to attack Orton but he fought back and chased him back staged. Mark Henry snuck up behind Daniel Bryan who was checking on Big Show and hit him with a huge clothesline, he then started to attack Big Show but Show as able to hit the WMD knocking Mark out. Big Show celebrated but out of nowhere Daniel Bryan ran in from behind and hit him in the back off the head with the title sending Show slowly to the ground. Daniel Bryan celebrates with his World Title as Smackdown goes off air.
