Although my personal preference would be for them to release a two-pack of GB 1 and 2 on Blu Ray, because let's be honest here.....
Why is the Blu Ray cover blue? I mean, outside of it being "Blu Ray", when has that color EVER been associated with Ghostbusters outside of Egon's jumpsuit in the cartoons?
Green or Bust.

DID EVERYONE MISS THE NATIONAL ENQUIRER PART!?? I'll be honest, I totally missed that part. It's a good thing most of us were speaking to the topic of Murray not doing a 3rd one, vs the actual story itself. To be fair, how long has Murray supposily had this script? How long has "everyone else been ready to go?" How many different times have we heard "We'll start shooting in the....." I'd be surprised at this point to see Murray do another one because as Tom stated, he wasn't exactly enthusiastic in the video game and clearly if he has a script and wanted to do it, he'd have made that apparent.

Meh... I think the Garfield thing is a valid argument. They're all older. Everybody knows this...whether or not it's a flop is kinda irrelevant in regard to the originals. I mean I thought Indiana Jones and Kingdom of the Crystal Skull totally sucked but it doesn't tarnish my love for the original three movies. Just like if for some reason Ghostbusters 3 sucks it won't tarnish my love for the original two movies. If the rest of the cast wants to do it and the fans want them to do it...then I say go for it. HOWEVER, if the script really does suck that bad and we are going to get stuck with Seth Rogen or ghost Venkman then maybe Aykroyd needs to get something better so we can get Murray on board. I'm not against them making it or not but if Murray is going to make Garfield 2, Larger Than Life and that goofy spy movie then he may as well make Ghostbusters 3 if they can come to an agreement.

Bill Murray is being picky about scripts? Bill murray who starred in Zombieland, Get Smart and Garfield?
Na, I love Bill Murray. No point in pulling another Indiana Jones 4.

A two-pack together on blu-ray would be cool. Just like they did on DVD. In fact, have they released Ghostbusters 2 on blu-ray by itself yet? I've never seen it in stores anywhere...

Why would anyone knock on Seth Rogen being one of the new Ghostbusters?

Honestly, the video game was all the "3rd movie" I could ask for. This. A thousand times, this. When I read this thread title, I actually said "Hallelujah" out loud. I just hope Sony bows out now. Ghostbusters without Murray is like, well... CM Punk drinking.

Why would anyone knock on Seth Rogen being one of the new Ghostbusters? Rogen is good at playing the fat stoner/loser who has to do porn to get with the girl he is truly in love with and who is also way out of his league. Anything other then that...he's dull.

"No-one wants to pay money to see fat, old men chasing ghosts", my ass:
He got a HUGE ovation!! I'm sure there are TONS of people who'd love to see a 3rd movie. I think Ghostbusters deserves to be a trilogy.

Him and Jonah Hill are over with. They were characters, that's all. Oh, and good for Murray. No more GB.

I think Ghostbusters deserves to be a trilogy. To be fair, movie or no movie, seeing Bill ing Murray....dressed as Peter Venkman....who wouldn't go crazy? That doesn't mean they should still make a 3rd movie. If the script sucks, then don't make it. No reason to ruin the franchise moreso by making a third one just to please certain fans.

Anything other then that...he's dull. complete truth. I completely disagree. I've seen him step up and deliver outside of "hey look at me, I smoke pot and get with girls I couldn't'' role multiple times.. And I didn't find him dull.. And as far as Jonah Hill goes.. I don't know if anyone has noticed, but his career isn't exactly dying down.. It's kind of skyrocketing. Rogen and Hill regardless of opinion are still get role, after role, after role..

Can he send a follow up letter that tells them to put GB2 on Blu Ray already? Cause that would just be fantastic. this plz You guys must be on some serious crack. Have you SEEN Ghostbusters 2? Good god, you can put that one right up there with Beverly Hills Cop 3, Superman 4, and X-Men The Last Stand amongst the most awful, unneeded sequels ever produced. God what a terrible movie. Even the original actors admit that the movie is terrible and was a mistake. Can't we all just pretend Ghostbuster 2 was a dream and that it never actually happened?

I really liked Ghostbusters 2 and Beverly Hills 3 actually. Both get unfairly dumped on.

I would quite like a Ghostbusters 3, the first two where funny and I'm all for a fun film about ghosts and old men trying to do what they did in their youth. I seem to be in a minority that liked the new Indiana Jones and it looks like it would be the same for G3.
