The commentary in WWE is just unbearable. Cole seems to argue more with everyone else than call the matches. I didn't mind him before his whole heel persona kicked in, he was doing fine after his feud with Lawler last year but that didn't last long. As for Lawler, he gave up years ago and clearly phones it in now. Booker T is barely understandable, and when he is, its cringe worthy. "Super heero, ma boy D-Bryan", "right there" etc. Commentrary definitely needs a bit of a shakeup.

Make Undertaker become a commentator when he retires as a wrestler....
I do agree though WWE does lack in having fun commentators, and I have to say I miss people like Tazz - he really made returns etc. feel more alive.
I like JR but it's sad how WWE is treating him now.

Ya know, I may be alone on this one, but I really enjoyed Todd Grisham as a commentator. I believe it was him and Striker (maybe I'm wrong) that I really enjoyed as a team. Obviously, JR is good to listen to....but Cole has made me turn off WWE programming. I hate the guy, truly.

Years ago, the commentators got into the matches, treated them as if they weren't pre-determined, acknowledged the superstars' talents and actually called the action. Agreed 100%. Given the recently dire commentary (with the exception of Booker and JR), and WWE's treatment of JR, WWE obviously severely underestimate the importance of great commentary. How much did JR and, to a lesser extent, King add to the Attitude Era, particularly during pay-per-views? |

I really hate the commentating of Michael Cole now..... Can't blame the guy as he does what he's supposed to do.. I blame it on WWE's creative writing team... The way they are pushing him to be so much of a heel commentator to the point of being too over the top... I thought it has stopped after he was at peace with Lawler many months ago.. But now its even worse.. This seriously has to stop.. How he disses Daniel Bryan and Zack Ryder. Yes, we get that you hate these guys, but he keeps repeating the same statements abt them over and over again each and every week..... WWE needs to tone him down a notch...
