I've read LOTR and The Hobbit which were amazing, and attempted to read His Dark Materials which I didn't enjoy.
Can you reccommend a good novel?

I recently finished the novel that "Catch Me If You Can" was based off of. Great read, and even better since it's all true.

Great book. I read it in one 4 hour sitting though My favourite novel of all time is The Great Gatsby, and another American classic definately worth reading is To Kill A Mockingbird. Another highly reccommended novel is Birdsong by Sebastain Faulks.

I cant picture myself reading something that is a movie.
I do read though.
Id recomend you get yourself some religious text. Maybe read through the bible? Im reading it currently. There are soo many great storys in there. Some things just make me scratch my head and leave me thinking for a good long while.

My friend is currently reading Stephen King's new novel "11/23/63" (which is about a former HS teacher finds a portal hidden in an old diner that leads back to the 60's and he plans to prevent JFK's assassination). She's more than half-way through but she loves it, I'm gonna read it after she is done with it.

Day by Day Armageddon 1 and 2 by JL Bourne. Both are awesome.
My friend put out an ebook called Archons Legacy on amazon... If you like LOTR, you might like this. Im a few chapters in. Its very interesting. You could also check out my book. Its significantly shorter than your previous reads though.
Have you read Harry Potter? Lots of material there!
