I just paid $34.99 for Vickie, and I am happy about it, sure she costs $11.99 at Retail, but it would cost me close to $20 in Gas driving around from Store to store (Walmarts, TRU, Kmarts, Targets, Boscovs). yesterday i was at four diffrent Kmarts in the area (hoping to find the Miz/Reilly Battle Pack). almost lost a Half tank of gas doing so. so, i paid Georges Collectibles $34.99 and guess what. now i dont have to go looking for Vickie. Some times you have to Dance with the Devil. Layla is not every other case, she is 1 per case. Vickie was just a test, i believe. because they were concerned as to how well she would sell. Collectors aside, The target audience would not buy her. I am sorry but the Collectors are not the only ones who buy Figures.

I personally don't have any problem with the way Matel has handled the divas. I have been able to find every diva so far at retail. I like the thrill of the hunt. It makes collecting that much more fun. If every store had there shelves packed full of Vickie Guerreros like they do John Cena, you wouldn't get that sense of accomplishment that you get when you finally find that figure you were looking for.

I sort of position this along the same lines of what they told us about guys like Slaughter, LOD and Dusty not getting another attempt when they screwed up to create the situation in the first place. Mickie shouldn't be the bar, likewise, they shouldn't assume the sales of an iconic Jimmy Snuka based off the sales of the abomination they released in L2.
I think Vickie being 1 per would have been fine. I think Mattel pushing plenty of stock through Mattelshop is the best idea though. They can do obscure figures at .5 and then sell more online for the collectors to scoop up.

I couldn't agree more. I was pissed when I finally found a K-mart with the cube, and they had every figure except for Vickie. And I don't feel like getting up at 7:30 everyday to constatnly check K-marts that hardly ever restock. I wish I could just order online, but they're at least $30 on ebay and RSC doesn't even have them. I could almost see 1 per case, but 1 per every other case? WTF. Some stores could get 2 cases and not even get 1 Vickie.

Sorry but I have no interest in Divas. 99.9% only legends and the occasional active wrestler every now and then.

Mickie James was NOT easily found in this area. I found her once. Then, never saw her again. I guess some areas get more figures in general. I do understand Mattel's stance here, but I do like the idea of them selling the "less popular" figures on Mattel Shop. That would be great! I agree. I saw about 3 of her figures and bought one of them so she was rare for me. And all divas are rare to me really. I NEVER saw Kelly or Natalya in stores and so far have had no luck with Vickie or Layla. It took me a long time to get a regular McCool , Melina, and Eve.
So yeah I guess some people must live in way bigger cities than I do where they have a lot more stores/cases of figures available and or not as many fans that will buy certain ones.
I don't think divas should be 2 per case however is 1 per case really that hard?

So here's an update......today I go to a different Kmart father away, and I talk to a nice person there who looks and finds that they have TWO cases of Basic 13. Jackpot, right? NOPE, Neither case have Vickie Guerrero. 24 figures. No Vickie. So in the past 2 days I have found 47 figures from Basic 13 and not found Vickie. How is that fair? you, Mattel, you.

Dude, same thing happened to me today (sort of). I went to a KMart that I've been waiting for them to get "the cube" in. No "cube".. but 2 FRESH cases of Basic 13 on the shelves. No Vickie. So annoying.

The problem occurs because Wrestling figure collectors aren't completists like Star Wars, Joe and Super Hero collectors. That fact has totally screwed Mattel's head.
I went to one old, small sized Kmart in a liitle ass town, they had 2 cubes and a new case of B13 on the pegs. No Vickies. Anyone else see a store with 2 cubes?

I was extremely lucky to buy Vickie just before Christmas and I'm glad I did because I went to Kmart yesterday and there were no Vickie's in the Cube. Turns out some buddies of mine who work in a cell phone store snatched the 2 Vickie's and put them on eBay with E12 Kane. I yelled at them and Called them Chumlee's and that wasn't fair to other collectors. I did however snatch the last Ezekiel Jackson.
