The fact that some people are going crazy saying "grow up" and "stop complaining" is worse than the complaining. That was a pretty poor episode. Despite the misleading return by Jericho. And the ending.. Those were suppose to be the strong points. They were pretty weak.

Sadly, this is the last WWE programming I'll ever watch. It's bad enough I have to pretend Kane has hair, I'm suppose to imagine he was pulling Ryder into an abyss that's engulfed by flames. My imagination isn't good enough for that. You were not around for the 90's were you? I've been around way before the 90's but stopped watching wwe during the attitude era, except for matches by certain wrestlers. I enjoy wrestling but can't deal with those story lines and if that's where they're going - I won't waste my time. I'll just enjoy old matches.

People saying that tonight was the worst Raw ever clearly weren't watching during the Guest Host days.
Or that night main evented by Goldberg and Mark Henry.

As far as Jericho's return is concerned... He will turn it into gold. He wants us all to think the way we are thinking right now.
You heard Lawler say "Im not sure what we just saw but..." (or something like that.)
I have a feeling Jericho's character is going to be confused or soemthing.. like he doesn't know who he is right now. Maybe revisit his former character's or something. lol. Like he lost his mind.

That last segment was for 8 year olds.
First RAW of 2012.. not so good, although I loved CM Punk's "animal cruelty" line to Laurinaitis, that was great. That match vs Ziggler could've been amazing, but was just okay, but helped the fued of Laurinatis vs Punk. Daniel Bryan vs Cody Rhodes could've been amazing but again, fell short with rollup, 1-2-3, end.
The Jericho thing was confusing, but I can't say "lamest return ever" yet because we'll have to see next week. I don't understand why the promos were so dark, and he came out so cheery and happy.

I think Jericho's demeanor tonight was a total swerve. I fully expect him to be a heel, I think tonight was something like getting "Y2J" out of his system. I was fully expecting him to drop the smile just before he walked out.

HOLY poop. I ing loved it, best RAW I can remember honestly. Only other recent ones that come to mind are Rock's return, Nexus invasion and Punk shoot. - Bryan/Rhodes. Two GREAT up-and-comers. - Barrett/Santino, one of the most hilarious segments ever not to mention Barrett was also really on point for his promo. - Miz/Truth, perfect segments before the Sheamus match. Maintained momentum and Truth in the crowd was really pleasing. Now the best bits: - Chris Jericho is BACK. My, and many others', all time favourite and self confessed saviour is back and what a way to do it! EVERYONE will be tuning in next week to see just what that was all about. Needless to say, having the crowd do such a 180 on you within a matter of minutes, WITHOUT SAYING A WORD?! ing awesome. - 6 man tag was, I thought, lame as anything. I don't care for any feuds except Kane and Cena. Then BAM. Kane comes out, strangles Cena and tries to kidnap a helpless Ryder? I know a lot of you guys aren't keen on the more 'supernatural' esque storylines, but personally, the way that such an element can co-exist with the rational is what makes wrestling so amazing to me. Think about it, we know it's all fake, and yet we allow ourselves to trick ourselves that it isn't for entertainment purposes. Kane, the character, is totally not of this world. To consume Ryder and Cena into that reality certainly makes for some compelling TV. I remember an interview with Christopher Daniels once where he said wrestling was the real life comic book and that's why he loves it. I think he's spot on. I loved this show from start to finish!

The hate for the Jericho segment is hilarious. Being a little disappointed is fine, but failing to acknowledge the potential is just proof that wrestling fans, as a whole, are totally unwilling to let a story play out, even just a little bit. The whole purpose of the promos was to introduce the fact that "It Begins 1/2/2012". The key word here is "begins". This return isn't like Save.Us, in that Jericho showed up, revealed his purpose immediately, and then pretty much faded into irrelevancy after a month, this is something entirely different. We don't know what Jericho is doing back, and that's the best part. Whatever it is, it began tonight. He could explain himself next week. He could do the exact same thing that he did this week, who knows, but anyone who is saying they have no interest in finding out probably shouldn't be watching the product in the first place. Jericho wouldn't have agreed to this if there wasn't a decent payoff. He knows the business too well for that. If you want to make fun of a segment, turn your attention to the closing of the show. You'll find no argument from me there. it's because wrestling fans today are WAY to impatient..and that tends to irk me,.. Well said, its lalmost like everybody wanted three months to happen in one, jericho come back, be a heel, feud with punk, win the championship, patience...

Summing up tonight.
Do you feel stupid?
Do you feel insulted?
If so, Chris's job is DONE. After you look past it, he's done his job. He's coming back HEEL. He just taunted the fans, made them all feel dumb. I bet you the first thing he says on the mic is something that points out how the fans haven't changed, still parasites, still hypocrites. It's going to get HEATED when he starts on the mic. You've been fool. This big return for your hero, and now what? It works.

I really liked Raw. There wre really good matches and things to keep me intrigued until next week.
Also, people seem to forget that when Kane or undertaker com out from under the ring, it's a portal to hell. That's been true for at least 15 years now.

The only real problem I have with tonight is that apparently underneath the ring is a terrible, terrible place; and the fact that the next Raw is a week away.

WWE.com's handling of the return kind of says it all.
"But as the Superstar – who was dressed in a dazzling, light-up, blinged out jacket – prolonged his homecoming, the WWE Universe’s chants of “welcome back” soon turned to boos. A smiling Jericho exited without addressing the Memphis crowd, leaving the irritated WWE Universe wondering why he’s back."
There is quite clearly something more going on here. Patience, folks.

Maybe Kane is going to kidnap all of Cena's friends and turn them to the darkside... like The Ministry of Darkness. lol. For real though. That would be kinda awesome.

Well he didn't know what Kane was going to do with him under there. It turned out he would have exploded him.
