(I know 99 wasnt a return but i thought i'd include it)
Which is your favourite and why?
Mine is by far his debut in 99, he debuted by interrupting the Rock.
2007 - They spoiled it with that clothesline
2012 - I don't know what to think of it yet

They were all boring. I really don't get it.

2007 was the worst of the three as it was mostly exactly the same promo as 1999, not to mention the crowd was crapand didn't react much at all, and the clothesline completely ruined the suprise.
2012 was interesting in which he said nothing and the shift in reaction at the finish, not sure what will come of that.
1999 was groundbreaking for the time, that a lower card WCW guy interrupted the Rock and it started the best run of Jericho's career in terms of popularity.
I'd say 1999 as the whole Jericho return thing has worn thin by this point.

1999 was the only coolish one, he kept to his character for a while. 2007 & 2012 had very good return videos but after 2007, he started getting sorta boring and it seems it wasn't that long after that he was teaming with Big Show & wearing a suit. I don't know how he "Saved" the WWE.
I'm guessing the 2012 return will be the same seeing how he already was running around screaming "YEAAAH BABY", doesn't seem like "The end of the World", unless they're poking at him being nicknamed "The King of the World", then sure.. I guess it's the end of his world because he was out of his mind.

As much as I want to say 99, he did NOTHING after his debut. Why have him interupt one of the biggest names in the game just to have him do didly squat afterwards?

The 1999 debut was awesome just from the crowd reaction alone. The pop was huge as soon as "Jericho" appeared on the Titan Tron.
I think in the long run this most recent return will turn out to be something good. Jericho is too talented and creative to let this bomb.

You've gotta remember that 2007 was spoiled by the internet too. People still were not 100% sure it was him back in 99, but the WWE put out a magazine with Jericho on the cover a week before he returned in 2007. Kinda ruined the surprise.

I'm still waiting to see what Jericho has to say because it could be interesting.

1999- Anyone that says 07 or 12 are the same guys that never saw the Attitude Era and bash the hell out of it, Watch the crowd as Jericho debuts, Just epic and one of the best nights in Raw history.

The WWE debut was amazing.
I am also a huge fan of his serious heel gimmick as well.
I don't count the '12 as it is too early to judge it either way.

I mean, him winning the Intercontinental title four months after his debut isn't much at all. Then to win his first Wrestlemania match and become the European champ in 2000.. They didn't have him do anything.

1999 was incredible. I was there live for the 2007 return though so that holds a special place in my heart.
2012 sucked imo. If I am judging it solely on the one appearance and not what I think is going to happen 3 weeks from now then it was just absolutely bad imo.

1999, I didnt have the internet then and having just seen him in WCW months prior it was a huge mark out moment when the pyro hit and JERICHO appeared on the titantron. deffinately my favorite
2007 - Everyone already knew before it happened, but I still enjoyed it and it was good to see Jericho back
2012 - I loved it, I don't care what people say, its all part of a bigger picture, and either way I'm happy to see him back.

There is literally nothing comparable to "99, outside maybe the Outsiders showing up in WCW.

But instead he was thrown into a lackluster IC title fued with CHYNA! The guy that interupted the ROCK for god sakes was in a fued with CHYNA. And to better clarify what im trying to get across, the two biggest fueds that Jericho had between his debut and the Invasion were againt Chyna and Stephanie. Yeah he had great matches with guys like Benoit and Angle but he had no real direction what so ever. Even Jericho talks about this in his book. He should have began fueding with Rock right after his debut, with all the build up he had and the magnetude of his debut thats what he should have done, not get stuck fueding with Chyna and Steph.
