Jim Carrey is just like Adam Sandler, he made like two or three funny movies almost 20 years ago, and since then has made nothing but garbage, yet their movies still make money off the reputation they built two decades ago. Jim Carrey is still leaps and bounds ahead of Sandler though. Carrey proves he can still bring it when he does Drama or non-mainstream stuff. His performance as Andy Kaufman was epic, and indy stuff like Eternal Sunshine and I Love You Philip Morris are great. Sandler hasn't even been slightly amusing in almost 15 years.

I honestly think anything he does is wonderful. Yes Man was great.

This is the kind of thing an elitist would say. The Mask, Man on the Moon, Ace Ventura, Dumb & Dumber, Bruce Almighty, Liar Liar, The Cable Guy, The Truman Show, Me, Myself, and Irene, Yes Man, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless mind all say otherwise. You're just being stupid. However, I agree that Sandler hasn't done much worth seeing since Big Daddy.

Thanks! I said Jim Carrey too. My friend is an african-american so maybe that has something to do with it. If you're generalizing, I always thought Wayne Brady's fan base consisted of middle aged white people -- so I'm sure it's just his comedic preference. There are far more deserving comedians that could've been compared and would actually be a real consideration for debate. IMO, Jim Carrey by a million miles between the two -- Carrey is a much better actor as well. Truman Show, Man On The Moon, Fun With Dick & Jane, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Dumb & Dumber, Eternal Sunshine, Horton Hears a Who, Bruce Almighty, Ace Ventura, The Cable Guy, & of course In Living Color were all amazing

Jim Carrey is a very well rounded actor. He can make me laugh, cry, get angry, whatever he's trying to do, he usually get its done. Love that guy.

I laughed my tush off with Dumb and dumber. And then that was it. The rest of EVERYTHIGN carrey has done is just the same lousy acting IMHO. I enjoyed Truman show, but that was more the concept, I think. I think you could have put any actor in that movie and I would have liked it the same.
Wayne I dont think is funny at all.
So both are pretty weak IMHO.
