but seriously i dont understand how someone can like obama and agree with a democratic mind frame. *looks at spelling and punctuation* *looks at signature* Moving on! Every post I've seen by this guy makes me dumber and dumber. I wish there was an ignore feature on this board so my intelligence doesn't drop down to his mongoloid intellect level. I should just avoid this thread altogether, but it's like the greatest car crash in the world, I can't look away. If you're not even smart enough to be able to look at issues from multiple angles and consider different ways of thinking, you're hopeless. Blindly thinking one way certainly cuts down one the amount of brainpower you need to expend, but sadly it leads to an unenlightened life. I certainly don't love Obama, but he showed some fight tonight. Romney seems so out of touch and seems to have no concrete plans. He just seems to be running on a campaign of being different - and with this country split down the middle that gets him half the votes. It just seems like a mess all around.

Grammar leaves some to be desired, lol. corey taylor is a beast. its a ing wrasslin internet forum, im not in an english class. therefore i dont ing care about my grammarrrrrrrr You're only doing yourself a disservice by typing like an angry pre-teen who's just discovered the comments section on YouTube videos. I'll give you a hint why: it's definitely not because it makes you look like a genius. Anyway, getting back to the discussion at hand: I enjoyed the debate tonight. It was heated, and it was fairly even throughout, but overall I feel like Obama edged Romney out slightly. It'll be interesting to see if Romney's surge will continue.

Come on! This thing is 66 pages long, and we're 3 weeks from Election Day. No need to fight with one another and get this thread locked.

anyways, romney won fair and square, caught obama in a lie. No offense, but what? EVERYTHING Willard ever says is a contradiction of something he's previously said--meaning everything he says currently will inevitably become a lie... He's like a pack of Starbursts. Ba-zing. And as far as agreeing with the democrat mindset, I am not a democrat. I was raised republican and registered myself independent as people from both sides piss me off, as does the whole two-party system.

He's a prick for encouraging business owners to tell people that they'd be better off with him as President? Oh no, not that!

He's a prick for encouraging business owners to tell people that they'd be better off with him as President? Oh no, not that! No, he's a prick for telling business owners to essentially threaten their employees' jobs if President Obama is re-elected. That is voter intimidation and it is illegal. You can spin it, sugarcoat it, or word it any way you want. But by him saying "I hope you make it very clear to your employees what you believe in is in the best interest of business, and therefore their job and their future, in the upcoming election" - and with 2 CEOs already essentially threatening jobs - it is voter intimidation. Threatening jobs to ensure a vote for Romney. ...and the following is from an e-mail that Westgate Resorts CEO David Segal sent to his employees. Of course, Segal covered himself partially by saying as the employer, he cannot tell people who to vote for. That's what makes Romney a prick, as if anything else he's said and done didn't make him one before.

Well to be fair, Romney's not the first guy to do that. Nor is he wrong in what he said. The person who is President right now has a tremendous amount of influence on the world economy.
If employees are stupid enough to be intimidated into voting for someone because their employer tells them to, they probably shouldn't be allowed to vote. Votes are confidential.

If this alleged voter intimidation is true, it's absolutely disgusting. I'm just glad that short of finding a body buried in Obama's backyard, there's nothing Romney can do that will make him beat Obama. Despite his so-called "zingers" from the first debate (and literally nothing else to be excited about), Romney's already done. It might seem close now but he's not beating Obama.

The calls to my house lately have been absolutely insane. I've got the state's "Yes on 1" campaign calling me daily to ask me to mail in my absentee ballot immediately so they can hit their first 5,000 votes.
Which is ironic, because, like I tell them on the phone every time they call, Yes on 1 (legalize gay marriage) is literally the ONLY decision on the ENTIRE ballot I've comfortably made. You have my support, fully, but sorry, I'm not going to rush every other decision I have to make.
Especially the presidential choice, because I don't even think I'm anywhere close to having a handle on what I'm doing there.

I don't know what I am doing. I most certainly am not voting for Romney or Obama though. Part of me wants Romney to get slaughtered so that the Republican Party can take a step back and see how they have lost their way by catering to the religious right.

The calls to my house lately have been absolutely insane. I routinely get 10-12 (no exaggeration) calls to my cell phone per day, and at least one door knock per week from the Romney campaign.

Most likely that is what I will be doing. I'm not a huge fan, but I like him a lot more than the other two. Although Georgia is going to Romney regardless.

And Minnesota is Obama regardless.
Gary Johnson getting 5% of the vote makes a viable third party. That's really what America needs. Everyone always talks about how you're "throwing your vote away" if you vote for anyone other than the R or D. I disagree. I think you're throwing your vote away if you're not voting for the person you agree with the most. And in this case, you're also helping a side cause of chipping away at the two party system that has made America such a shitfest.
