Okay.. and lol @ Phillip Rivers on NFL Gameday Final: ''I BELIEEEEEEVEEE in Eli..'' (copying primetime) Haha wtf? He think's he's a big bad sports analyst now, I'm sure that must of been super awkward for him. Thats cool only been 5 years. This threads, these boards were so quiet without you. But now with the Giants playing, you will homer it up and be a jerk off all day tomorrow. That is why everyone is rooting for the Falcons here, so you can disappear until its Angels season and they lose to the Rangers again. Just getting this ready for tomorrow www.fieldgulls.com/2011/10/5/2471134/eight-simple-things-about-eli-manningIn case you want to read more about Eli Manning, that article is pretty funny (and true) 4 years, I guess you also don't know how to count. This has nothing to do with me, I've already spoken to alot of the Giants fans on here and even some other guys who have said you guys have been hating on the Giants and their posters on these forums for years, so it's no suprise. It's SOOO funny how almost everything I post always seems to come true, so how does that make me a homer? I've seen you make some crazy homer posts but nobody says anything. Why? Because I guess it's not cool to call out Ralpho on these boards. Only Dexter/Kliquid/CM and BV have their own opinions and speak their own mind and can say whatever the they want to you and anybody else, but almost everybody else just follows the heard and jumps on the bandwagon of calling specific people homers and etc. You almost make no insightful posts on these threads, you have a blind hate for a select number of teams and their players, and all you ever post is your stupid fantasy updates and how Tom Brady rules the world. Get the out of here. You ride your team and your quarterback just as bad as anybody else does, the only reason you barely get called out for it is because you stalk these forums all day and pretty much troll the out of people. It's going to be the funniest thing ever if we go far into the playoffs.. My team and quarterback have still outplayed your team and quarterback two times in a row, I don't think that leaves you any room to talk, LOLPATS; the epitome of failure for the past 8 years. Oh, and only a raging troll talks about baseball on a football thread, one of these mods need to look into that.

You know, yeah...the posts you have made may have come true...but that doesn't mean that at the time, they weren't kind of off the wall. Yeah, Eli really came into his own this season...he had what can, for him, only be described as a stellar season. But you know, at the beginning of the season...no one (except for Giants fans) really could have seen that coming. Why? Well, because he had never had a season like this to really compare it to. He had a couple of good seasons, but never anything like this. That would be like me saying Ben Roethlisberger's going to win the MVP next season. Could it happen? Sure. Will it happen? Probably not. He's had one great season and a couple of borderline seasons...but he's not been consistent enough or healthy enough in his career to warrant anyone else who isn't a Steelers fan to back that statement. Do you know who else could win it though? Well, I do. Actually, I can think of a few hundred different people who could potentially win it.
No one here has a problem with you supporting your team. But when you start talking and making it seem like you're trying to say that, say, Eli Manning is a better QB than Tom Brady...that's going to drive most NFL fans nuts. Tom Brady is the greatest QB in the history of football. Eli Manning may wind up having a Hall of Fame career, but he'll never be Tom Brady.
And Ralpho's baseball comment actually makes sense, in a round about way. It goes along with what I was saying above. No one has an issue with you supporting your team. What annoys everyone is when people start saying that their teams are better than teams that they clearly aren't at that time. What annoys people is when people compare up and coming, or new players, to Hall of Famers. There's a reason the Rangers made the playoffs and not the Angels last year, and that's because the Rangers managed to win more games than the Angels.
As for people not speaking their minds...if you haven't noticed, only a few people post here on a frequent basis. Generally, people won't get involved in arguments that don't affect them.
All in all man, between me and TRW, if something goes way too far, something will be done. And if you have a complaint about something TRW or myself may have missed, then tell us. There's a Report to Admins button below every post which will go to all of the admins, and there's a Report to MOD button below that will send it straight to me.
So, in closing...can everyone please just chill out? I don't want to have to lock this thread because of fighting. I get that everyone has differences in opinion, but...especially because of tomorrow's game, one way or the other, I don't want there to be any fighting.

I understand bro, but don't expect me not to talk crap today if the Giants win and don't expect Ralpho to not talk crap (Even though it's not his favorite team and MY favorite team has already beaten his this season, another thing I predicted and he told me I was a homer about) if the Falcons end up winning.
To tell you the truth, I honestly don't mind the guy..I generally agree with some of the stuff he says on a day to day basis (mostly on baseball), and it's kind of grown into a love/hate relationship over the past couple of months.
What can you do other than just post your opinions and feelings right? I mean it is a discussion board.

I'm rooting for the Falcons in this game. I got nothing against the Giants, I just don't like New York teams in general (even though practically all of my family on the maternal side is composed of Yankees, Mets, Jets, and Bills fans). I really like Mike Mularkey and how the Falcons have utilized the play-action pass a lot more. Should be a fun game to watch.
I'm calling it Falcons 31-24.

Lmao at Eli Manning. Safety in the end zone?! Ha! Looked like Mark Sanchez from the other week. Guess we will have to take a step back from all the elite talk from the clown known as Eli.

Both of these teams are terrible at running the ball today. Just call their running plays 'down wasters' because that's essentially what they are. Setting up to be a much worse game than I expected. EDIT: Of course as I soon as I say that Jacobs busts for a 30+ yard gain.

You made it sound like I wanted to date your mom. You got SO mad and brought up the Patriots and went after me.....because I said I wanted the Giants to lose.....remember? I went to school in CT, my roommates, girlfriend etc were Giants fans. I hated the Giants WAY before I met you Charlie Sheen Jr and WAY before 2007. If I say I hate the Giants, dont get on your horse and try to defend them they do not need your "TYGA BLOOD" to help. You keep mentioning how you won in the regular season, no one cares about the regular season. Do you see the Chiefs fans ragging on the Packers right now because they beat them? NO BECAUSE THE REGULAR SEASON DOESNT MATTER! Also, could you cry anymore about mentioning baseball in here "CAN AN MOD LOOK INTO THIS The Charlie Sheen fad has ended by the way. I'm done, lets go Falcons and Broncos

Let me add this about Tebow, I know Kliquid is going to flip off his Ron Paul sweater vest when he reads this but this pisses me off! I know hes not great right, frankly he kinda sucks, but seriously IF YOU DO NOT WANT HIM TRADE HIM, CUT HIM, JUST MOVE ON FROM HIM! If you dont believe in him and wanna with his confidence and mind THE DAY BEFORE HIS FIRST PLAYOFF GAME then just move on from him, like totally cut bait. The Broncos are not winning the Super Bowl this year, or next, or the year after. So if you are not on the Tebow train just move on, stop ing with him, either work with him and make him better for more than a year or just cut bait. I hate you John Elway and I dont know why this Tebow stuff makes me so mad but it does God Bless

It's disgusting to see reports on if Tebow makes bad decisions, Quinn will be used on 3rd downs and if he struggles completely they will just turn to Quinn. Thats horrible.

Did Hakeem Nicks just do the dirty bird?
They won't get enough credit, but the Giants defense has been amazing today.

What a terrible play-call from the Falcons. No Turner on that 4th and inches? If they're not gonna have Ryan leap like Brees yesterday, why not put a human bulldozer like Turner in? Just stupid...

Nicks' TD was very Victor Cruz-esque (missed tackles leading to huge YAC)
