This is a shot in the dark, but I have a question about the commercials for the WWF LJN figures.
Does anyone else remember the very first LJN commercial for the original 5 figures? I remember it pretty clearly, but I haven't seen it since it aired in 1984-85 and to my knowledge, it hasn't popped up on YouTube yet.
The commercial featured the Iron Sheik, Jimmy Snuka, and Big John Studd in some kid's house. I remember Snuka did the Superfly leap off the kid's staircase. Can't remember if Hogan and Andre were in the commercial, but Snuka, Studd and Sheik were definitely in it. The commercial ended with a still shot of the protos for Hogan, Sheik, long hair Andre, Studd and Snuka all together.
This was before the "I'll bring my guys, you bring yours" and the "Bring home all the action" commercials. I am almost positive that the commercial only showed the original five figures.
If anyone can vouch for my fading memory that you know what I'm talking about, I'd appreciate it. And if anyone can come up with video -- either a YouTube link or a VHS/DVD you're willing to sell or trade me -- you'll make my year.
