When switching heads, do you try to pull out the ball joint in the neck, or just the head? Thanks guys!! ![:)](http://www.wrestlingfigs.com/images/smiley.gif)

Mattel neck joints are different than Jakks's. One end goes into the head and one end is secured firmly in to the torso. So if you went to pull it out it would completely tear the figures shoulders out. So just soak the head in hot water for about 30 secs or so, and the head should just pull right off. Good luck!

With a mattel figure, you cannot remove the peg from the body without either splitting the torso or breaking the ring end of the peg (it fits around a connection point that attaches the front and back body pieces in the neck).

yeah I use the cup of hot water in the microwave trick. Heat the cup of water for 3 minutes then hold the figures part you want to remove in the cup of hot water for a minute or so, make it nice and hot, then take it out and just pull the part off. It pops off so easy to. Nothing like hearing that refreshing popping sound taking a fig apart to know you did it right ha
