I always hate hearing when a wrestler passes away no matter who they are, when its one who's young who still has so much to offer in there career it always seems to effect me more, people like Eddie Guerrero, Owen Hart and Brian Pillman could have accomplished so much more.
One of the ones I want to talk about it Brian Pillman, the stuff he did toward the end of his WCW run was so ground breaking and original, it really got people talking, Pillman was the true originator of the pipe bomb. After WCW he went to ECW where he got the Loose Cannon character even more over, Pillman even went as far as to work the boys in the back, even WWF took notice and signed him to a contract, Pillman was on his path to becoming one of the biggest stars in wrestling when tragedy struck and he crashed his car thus shattering his ankle and requiring some intensive sugary. After much rehab Pillman never wrestled as well as he did but his stuff on the mike and all the stuff he did with Austin was awesome. Unfortunately due to his injury Pillman took heavy amounts of pain killers and in 1997 passed away.
I honestly believe that had not had the accident which lead to pain killer addiction and death Pillman would have gone on to do so many great things. Pillman in WWF when the attitude was at his height would have been awesome, Pillman would have done so many amazing things on the mike and in the ring. I think with his history with Austin they could have gone on to draw so much money and had one of the greatest rivalries ever. Kevin Sullivan credits Brian Pillman with coming up with most of his own stuff in WCW and says that him and Raven are probably 2 of the greatest minds in wrestling to have never been bookers. I think with Pillmans input and put in the right angles then we would have seen so many awesome and entertaining things that we unfortunately never got the chance to see.
