The spot where Ibushi got serious and no-sold Okada’s shots, I perked up on my couch. His face was another level of serious, and then those closed fist shots he gave Okada were brutal. From then on it was a classic next-level NJPW match. Seeing him that INTENSE made me want a heel badass Ibushi. But that match already has the crown of match of the year already.

Who's still got their stream down? Can't get it load on Xbox One still, but when it first went out I got it back fairly quickly on my phone's browser. Brought the Apple TV out of the bedroom and hooked it up so I could mirror the screen to the TV. I'll keep trying on Xbox between each match.

I really enjoyed Night 1. But there was something about Night 2 that makes it my favorite of the two.

I haven't posted in this thread in a while.
Both nights of Wrestle Kingdom and New Years Dash were great, I loved Ospreay vs. Hiromu and both Okada matches.

The streaming issues kinda took the wind out of my sails on night 2. But I think night 2 was the more consistent night for quality matches throughout. Though for me night 1 had the two best matches of the event, Ospreay/Takahashi and Okada/Ibushi. I'm sure a lot of people will prefer Okada/Naito over Okada/Ibushi, but I enjoyed the Ibushi match more.

not only do i agree okada/ibushi was the match of the event... and early moty candidate... but i actually liked kenta/goto as the second best match of the event. really hard hitting, and its nice to see kenta back at that level. okada/naito, hiromu/ospreay and white/ibushi close out my top 5 matches over the 2 nights. i wasnt a fan of naito/white or moxley/archer at all, which i do hear a lot of love from people. different strokes for different folks.

I didn’t get into Moxley/Archer. I was expecting more hardcore stuff for a “Texas death match.” My thought after the match was “well the finish was cool.”

Wasn't a bad match by any stretch, just not something I would really say felt like a "Texas death match".

Goto vs. Shingo from night 1 was really good. Happy Shingo is moving up in the heavyweight division.

Anyone ever purchased NJPW tickets internationally before?

Reports are NJPW is working out a deal to return to US broadcasting after being unceremoniously dropped from AXS. So what channel do you say would be the best home for them in the States?

Maybe like espn? I know it sounds funny, but they do the ocho stuff on wednesday late nights, and espn2 does the axe throwing league so anything is possible.

Ishii vs. Shingo from a few days ago was great.
As for a new TV deal for NJPW it's going to be interesting to see were they end up since I can't think of any front runners.
