Okada and Tanahashi are your champions.
Boy, New Japan sucks now.

I get it, so House of Torture is like personification of online trolls, yes? Annoying little sh*ts no one wants to see that make no attempt to hide their contempt for rules, decency, and common courtesy, but are allowed by the authorities to run amok because...reasons.

Juice Robinson has declared he is finished with New Japan after April 30 and claims he doesn't really have any imminent plans or desires for anywhere else in the industry.

What would yall say has been the most influential/prominent puro fed in history? I am interested in learning about the past, as NJPW has been my main exposure here.

I’d recommend quite a bit of 90s All Japan with Misawa, Kawada, Kobashi and Taue. The YouTube channel ClassicsPuro83 has tons of good stuff to dig into.

Sounds like Alex Zayne could be sticking around in New Japan for awhile after the tournament. He isn’t available for booking very much in the near future.

NJPW really like hot-potatoing the US Championship.

It looks like they're going to quietly ride out his contract. It'll be a miracle if he ever works in NJPW again.

New Japan is such a weird company, even their statement about women being on new Japan shows in America going forward, reads like they are doing it kicking and screaming.

While overall this year's g1 was a big wet fart, that final was absolutely insane.

Women's iwgp title coming, and they are hyping a super significant non Japanese wrestler being in the tournament. So, it's gotta be one of the top aew gals or Sasha. If it's Tessa they're over hyping the incredibly famous part lol. To be fair though anyone but Sasha would be overhyping the famous aspect. But it could also just be a translation thing and they just mean a top gal, in which case even a few impact gals would fit the bill too.

With Sting announced for Muta's last match, what would you like to see happen?

Just saw Antonio Inoki passed away. That is a huge loss to the world of wrestling. The man had a huge impact on wrestling, as well as MMA.

Really really hate that New Japan is introducing yet another title. All these companies have too many as is.
