So i'm planning on getting Resident Evil Revelations and I saw that it came with the new thumb stick add on but it was exclusive to a website.
Was just wondering if the thumb stick was essential for the 3DS and RE: Revelations and worth getting, i haven't seen any other games that use it except Snake Eater which i don't know if i plan on getting

It is incredibly awkward to hold. I was thinking of buying it and tried one out, and it's not easy to use at all. MGS3D is gonna be incredibly hard to play with it because you can't really move your hand from the buttons over to the stick easily. Good idea; terrible execution.

What kills me is that there's a perfectly good wide-open spot near the power button that would've been perfect for another stick. Bah!

I didn't think it was awkward to hold at all. I wasn't excited for it in the slightest but I could reach all the buttons with ease and it was comfortable. I'll be picking one up.
