Id keep the peg board up. In fact id do half and half. The top half of the walls peg board (you can paint it) and then the bottom half where its the cinder block paint it black or whatever color. That way you can hang figures or even shelves from the peg board and if you dont like where its sitting or need to move it at any point its easier to move around. Are you putting carpet down once you pull the turf up or just replacing the turf? Personally Id go with carpet but it depends on your budget.

Man, that white and blue cinderblock reminds me of old-school, '80s Toys R Us. I recommend ditching the pegboard picking up some slat board. I don't have any experience with it, but I'd love to have some of that to display my collection.

Haha @ the stripper pole. It's actually a support pole, but I guess it could double as one. The slat board looks amazing, I'm going to have to look into that. Thanks for the ideas so far! Keep them coming!

To add to this. I just started more cleaning, took out that clutter under the table, the xmas tree and flower pots.
It's amazing how much crap I cleaned out of there. I'll try and take a picture before the garbage men come in the morning. It's almost an entire sidewalk full of crap.

Looks like a long way to go man but it should look fantastic when you're done.
Do you also collect loose or only MOC? Might have ideas for you but I need to know what stuff you plan to put in there

I've always wanted to paint 3 red stripes on my walls to look like ring ropes going around my room lol. And maybe get small pillows or something and put them in the corners to look like turnbuckle pads. Just a suggestion. I think a cool idea for a computer desk would be to make a table to look like a WWE announce table. Come to think of it, I might actually do that in my basement haha.

Don't paint it all black. It will be grim.
Don't paint straight on concrete. It will chip and look cheap. Plaster board is cheap and easy to put up. Plastering is easy, or it's cheap to get a small room plastered by a pro.
If your going to do it, do it properly!!!

The peg board may be useful if you have a lot of MOC figures to hang. I would go with a lot of light colors since the basement will not have a ton of natural lighting. You have a nice area to work with. The work bench looks about the right size for a really cool set up with a Scale Ring and loose figures, too!
Oh -- Chalk Paint may be the way to go - you don't need to sand or anything and it can go over concrete, wood, almost anything. It is a little more expensive but it pretty cool looking.

i seen from your other post, you have some loose figures. i've always wanted to buy a big tv stand with shelving above where the tv is, like this: its really up to you, if you have had a vision of how you want it, go for it. good luck! and let us see the finished room.

Might have ideas for you but I need to know what stuff you plan to put in there Just started collecting some basics for loose and I'm keeping my legends and Elite MOC. I have a LOT of Basics I need to collect for my loose collection now, but I'll gradually get there, no hurry.

Yeah, after standing inside the room today I was thinking of the colors. The top portion will be white and I may paint the bottom portion red. Not quite sure yet. I have a couple weeks before I buy the paint, so I have plenty of time to choose. And BTW, I've already did my homework on how to paint concrete, so it won't be a problem.

Not even as nice as a professionally finished exterior wall. The difference will be phenomenal AIM HIGH!!
