The Hollywood Reporter says that Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis and Ed Helms are negotiating together to get $15 million each (against backend) to make The Hangover Part III. The trade adds that they are likely to get it with dealmaking wrapping up. According to them, the three stars made under $1 million each for the first film, which grossed a massive $467 million worldwide. They then received around $5 million each for the sequel, which then grossed another $581 million worldwide. So, provided the third film is as successful, Warner Bros. should easily be able to recoup the money spent on the actors. The studio is hoping to start filming the third installment, set in Los Angeles, this summer with Todd Phillips again directing for a Memorial Day 2013 release. Honestly, considering what the movies have made, they deserve it if they want to make a third one.

Man.....I remember back in 2006 when Zach Galifianakis did stand up comedy at my college CAFETERIA...he wasn't even big enough to get the auditorium or the gym.
His act bombed. He was so terrible. It got so bad he just started making racial comments at black people in the audience. What an ugly situation it turned out to be.
Now he's going to get $15 million for one movie....man, he sure has come a long way, lol.

I just hope they at least try something different for the third film. Shaking it up a bit would help out a ton and make it a bit more different that the previous two.

Watch them all wake up in completely seperate places, and have to find each other.

I actually enjoyed the guy in Tru Calling, but then he came out and said he thought the show was ridiculous and crapall over it. So at the point I figured, this guy. He is funny at what he does, like in Out Cold, but I can see him being total garbage at standup comedy. I'll see Hangover 3, but I wasn't that crazy about 2. Those guys all deserve that money from the success of the first film alone imo.

The thing with his stand up now days is that he doesn't really do an act, like an Eddie Murphy or Dane Cook or Jeff Foxworthy. His jokes are more reactional to what's happening.
Watch the movie "The Comedians of Comedy", as it does a great job of showing how funny he can be.

If you have not by now watched "Between Two Ferns" on Youtube. Go do it as soon as possible. It is hilarious. Plus, you really have to know how to take Galifianakis' comedy.. Otherwise his stuff can be absolutely terrible.

Watch them all wake up in completely seperate places, and have to find each other. While that sounds so horrible in theory, I LOVE your idea...damn, now I know why Adam Sandler films keep getting made. Idiots like me keep liking those ideas too- for the most part, I hated Grown Up's though.

It would probably be one of the more original ways to to keep the whole series going.

Probably another re-tread with some minor changes like location and such.
But with all the money they made from the last one, who the hell could blame them.

Well I'm certainly not going to be contributing any of my money towards any of this.

"Okay, guys, so in this movie your characters are going to have a wild night out, wake up with hangovers and get in lots of trouble while looking for your missing fourth friend. What do you think?"

Watch them all wake up in completely seperate places, and have to find each other. That would be a lot better than 2, honestly.
