Dale Jr.'s 2013 National Guard Scheme. He will be running this scheme for 18 or 20 races next year, with PepsiCo scaling way back, having schemes in 5 races for Jr., 2 for Jeff and 1 for Kasey. He'll also run this scheme this weekend at Homestead. Hence the Impala image. Chevy is running the Chevy SS for the Sprint Cup next year. Other news: Jimmy Fennig will head up the #99 team next year. That makes way for Scott Graves to take over as crew chief for the #17 when Ricky Stenhouse Jr. takes over the ride. AWESOME! Now he gets the opportunity to not win in that scheme, yet still be talked up as one of the best drivers in NASCAR! As for the chase, I think it's obvious at this point that Brad will win, but I honestly would rather have Jimmy win.

Not sure if your a Johnson fan or not but just wondering why you want him to win? I would pick anyone but him to win just b/c i am tired of seeing him win it.

Coming from a guy who has Michael McGillicutty in his signature. Yeah, I'm not bothered by that. LOL! Thanks for coming, please play again.

My goal was not to bother you, I just hate how highly people think of him. Junior is on the best team in Nascar, yet he has 2 wins in 4 years. Explain that please?

Easy. Jimmie Johnson is the poster boy. Every team has one.

Brad is the champion! Jimmie Johnson broke the drivetrain, and he's in the garage. 25 laps away.

Amazing, the guy who shouldn't have even been there wins the race.
Oh well... f*** this season and hopefully Gibbs/Toyota will pull their head out of their ass... or I'd rather see Kyle leave Gibbs in '14.

B-B-B-B-B-BRAD IS CHAMPION! And to add even more gravy to that, Bowyer finished 2nd in points and Gordon won.

Dale Sr is why I started watching Nascar. However, if Jr's name was not Earnhardt I question if he would even have a team, or be driving for a top one. He has gotten better, but he just doesn't have "it" in my opinion. I am just looking at it objectively, if he didn't drive I would probably watch even less than I do, but I just don't think he is any better than a Robby Gordon. Just my opinion.

Everyone views things different. He's not just a track ornament. And he runs every single week. He would have a ride, even with Hendrick, even if his name wasn't Dale Jr. It was an agreement that Rick Hendrick and Jr. made, if Jr. ever needed a ride, Rick would make sure he had one. So even if his name was Joe Lee Bob Goldenberg, he'd have a ride.

What is it with people acting like the Nationwide Series is a hell hole? Sh*t. My cousin, last night, was bashing Elliott Sadler, saying "He's gotta feel pretty low about himself, being demoted back to the Nationwide Series." There is not a thing wrong with the Nationwide Series. And if you love to race, you'll take a ride where you can.

There isn't anything wrong with it, aside from the fact that the pay is much less, and not many people watch it. I like the Nationwide series, but being stuck their and never getting a chance to go to the cup series? Come on now.

Sure, the viewership has dropped off since 2008, when NASCAR began that mandate where you pick and run for one series championship, so the big name Sprint Cup guys have no real reason to run in the Nationwide races. No one will ever be stuck there, and never run a single a Sprint Cup race in their careers, I can almost guarantee that.

They made it following the 2010 season and it started for the 2011 season. It's why Kyle Busch and Brad Keselowski won the '09/'10 championships.

There is nothing wrong with nationwide. It's like the minors though. It's like Arod or someone saying yeah I can't win a title on the Yankees I'm going to triple A

Well its been a great year, went real fast, seems like last week we had the daytona 500 that would never end. Already planning to attend daytona again this 2013, as we skipped the last two years. Glad gordon got another win to complete a win on every track, also glad Brad got the title.
