I made mention in another thread that with the exception of Vickie Guerrero, every diva Mattel has released so far has been the Divas Champion (Layla was 'Unified co-champion and Nikki Bella wrestled for Brie plenty, though neither are recognized on the books) and it got me thinking that with The Bella Twins and Alicia Fox likely to be shown at Toyfair, the entire lineage of the Divas Championship is represented in figure form (RA31 Jillian Hall is the only non-mattel figure). Is there any other title in the history of wrestling to have accomplished this? I mean any figures, not just Mattel.

David Arquette and Vince Russo don't have figures. I would have to check to see if any respectable champs don't though  But to answer th question, The WWE tag titles (Smackdown titles). From the time Teddy Long created them until they were unified, everyone who held the belts had figures. And post unification, only McGillicutty and Epico don't |

I guess I've gotten too used to Long being GM And that's true about the belts too. It's odd that they used that lineage instead of the one that had been going for 40 years, but oh well. Interestingly, only three WWE champs don't have figures. Buddy Rogers, Pedro Morales, and Stan Stasiak. I guess Jakks should have made CS figures of them when they had the chance, because we won't be getting them now. |
