you could make the argument that the QB makes the talent around him better, which I think Peyton does Oh 100%, but that case could also be made for Brady especially this year. Getting to the AFC Championship game with a squad of nobodies. Granted it wasn't all on Brady, they had a hell of a coaching job, but it takes someone on the field to go out and execute. No doubt about it. Brady deserves the credit he gets, especially this year when the team that was just emaciated by injuries.

I'm content with hearing Montana or Brady as the best ever. There isn't anyone else in this conversation for me personally.
Montana's SB numbers are ridiculous. His passer ratings is like 130 over 4 games and he threw 11 TDs and no interceptions. That's next level stuff right there and really puts him in a class by himself. Brady is still the GOAT of my lifetime because Montana was in his first year with the Chiefs when I really started following football. I do think Brady needs one more ring, and an MVP quality performance in that game to make the majority of fans feel comfortable with putting him on that Montana level, but you can't deny Brady's unbelievable ability to put his team in a position to win time-and-time again. No one player was more important to his team this year than Tom Brady imo, and the fact he took that group to the AFC Championship is nuts. Starting 6 SuperBowls would be something special and I see him doing it at some point over the next two years.
I mean it's whatever. I'm a Bears fan, so I just get to admire great QBs from afar...

His QBR was never going to be super elite because he took so many risks with the ball. 94-97 Bret was arguably one of the greatest QBs ever, and he was sensational in both Super Bowl appearances, but when he was bad, he was throwing more INTs than TDs on the regular. I do think he gets criticized more than necessary for over staying his welcome but I'd still put him in a top 10 greats at the position list without even blinking. He falls in the Marino and Young group for me, so somewhere between 6-10. Let me put it this way, when Favre signed with the Jets, I was sitting on the sideline at Dolphin Stadium to watch him play on week 1. I respect the hell out of that guy, but the way he plays, it's a wonder Packer fans aren't all covered in grey hair. Jay Cutler throws with the same reckless abandonment and I can't ing stand it. I guess it's just easier to appreciate when it's not happening on your team haha. Plus, Favre's an extremely likable guy. He's charismatic in a Bill Clinton kind of way. Which is totally opposite to how I feel about Aaron Rodgers, who I think is an ultra douche, and is completely unlikeable with his turtlenecks, in a Miz kind of way. Rodgers probably doesn't care though since he's an amazing qb too, FML.

So....the Cleveland Browns... It is on days like this that make me both happy and sad that the Steelers are in the same division as the Browns.

I dislike Lombardi from his NFL network days, so I don't care that he is out of a job after 1 season. It is ridiculous to do this after 1 year though. New coach and front office. It doesn't make sense especially considering that team played hard every week it seemed. They won games when Hoyer was in there providing below average QB play. Can't win without a QB, so why not let last yrs hires select their own this season? Maybe Lombardi is just a tool period.

Lombardi hired the new coach and then got fired himself. Maybe Lombardis replacement fires the new coach? Could make for a good joke.

I'm very confused as to why an organization would:
- Fire the Head Coach - Allow the current CEO and GM to assist in choosing the new Head Coach - Fire the current CEO and GM
No offense Cleveland fans, but perhaps the Browns should have never come back...

So the Incognito/Martin report was released today...
So much for the truth burying Martin.

Incognito is a scumbag, regardless of the sport, sexual remarks about Martin's sister and mother is inexcusable.
It's funny how childish a grown man can be, bullying is unacceptable.

I'm a little astounded at the moment. The sheer amount of constant bull**** that multiple people had to put up with.
The scariest part is that somehow the head coach had no idea or no real command structure that would have something like that reported to him.
Milano colored. Never heard that one before.

To be fair, the Browns have had the same amount of success the Chiefs and Chargers have had in the last 45+ years: 0 Super Bowls.
