I dont want them to kill off the attractive chicks on the show, I mean Lori is cute, the blond is cute but Hershels daughter is A+.
Thats my contribution

Ultravi...pssh. These characters are dumb. They are written poorly. They just killed off the best actor they had. In a very haphazard fashion. They even took him clean out of the finale, leaving something dramatically sweeter to the side.
And anyone who can't see the intensity in Breaking Bad and how much more there is going on in that show doesn't know good drama. They portray fear, anguish, loss, love, betrayal in a much grander and profound way than this pop. AMC or rather the people behind these shows hit it out of the park with Bad, Men and Rubicon. this is hitting so many bumps.
Thought it was alright, dunno how Dale is more appreciated than Sophia, innocent girl, gang of rapers defender - alright. Best two TV Shanes ever, dead. Within a week of each other. I don't know why they bothered having him show genuine concern about Carl just to have the him losing it story follow it. To make Rick more a hero, yeesh - he needed that, words of a madman to check in with his son. Wish they'd stop trying to portray Andrea as some sort of badass with ridiculous Zombie kills. It's a zombie show, intensity is a prerequisite.

I really hope next week the zombies feast on all the crappy characters.
Hershel's kids (minus Maggie)
T-Dog
Etc.
Eat 'em up!

I really hope next week the zombies feast on all the crappy characters. I mean, there are a lot of them. Hershels kids, Lori, Carol, T-Dog. I actually wouldn't mind if everyone but Rick and Daryl died. The other characters have become either background characters or completely underdevloped.

The sooner T-Dog dies, the sooner I will be happy.
They should have fed T-Dog to zombie Sophia or zombie Shane. One last meal before they put them down.

There is an internet meme/joke (well not really cause its true) that all T-Dog says is "aw hell no." He said it again last night and almost pissed myself. Soooo bad. I wonder what the poor guy did to piss off the writers.

Basically,
If T-Dog makes it to season 3 then I will lose all faith in the zombie apocalypse.

Here is a thought that I boosted from a friend. Did Shane save the entire group last night by going crazy? The Walkers were coming to the farm regardless. If Rick went along with his plan as he was supposed to, going out with Daryl, the group would basically be ambushed in the house without warning, without 2 of their strongest leaders......

But would the zombies have been headed in their direction if it wasn't for Shane's gun going off? The zombies were in the area, but without a sound for them to direct to, they could have just as easily walked in the other direction.

That is an interesting thought but I don't think Shane knew they were there. When he took Randall out to the woods to kill him, it was still light out. By the time they saw the zombies coming over the hill, it was well past sundown. I know they move slow but that would have been really slow. I think Shane knew that either he or Rick had to go. They both loved Lori and Carl but only one could have them. He knew that only one of them would be coming back to camp that night and deep down, I think Shane knew it wasn't going to be him. He wanted his longtime friend to be the one that ended it. Shane also knew what a threat Randall was, and he wanted to do one last good dead for the group. I could be way off on this but it's my take on it anyway.

What has to be developed now is something they brought up a couple times in the last episode:
How are they turning into walkers when they haven't been bit? Is it scratches? Is it airborne now and activates anytime someone dies?
This really intrigues me.

The zombies were in the area, but without a sound for them to direct to, they could have just as easily walked in the other direction. Look at the previews from next episode, it looks like there are thousands of zombies flooding the farm. We've seen the characters check the perimeter of the farm. Walking through the woods. They've literally encountered 1 stray walker on the farm since they've been there, and only a couple in the woods. I don't think all these walkers randomly showed up cause of a gunshot. I think they have been slowly moving towards the farm for a while. That is an interesting thought but I don't think Shane knew they were there. I'm not saying Shane knew they were there, of course he didn't. I'm saying its ironic that his crazy actions lead to a series of events that kept the 2 strongest men at the farm during a zombie ambush.

I got caught up with the last 2 episodes last night, & dear God they were impressive! As much as I enjoyed Shane, I'm more intrigued as to how he came back from the dead. I'm leaning towards the airborne mindset. I too think quite a few main characters will get offed this week. Seeing Hershel say something along the lines "this is his farm" means he'll go down with it too. I guess if Shane is fair game, everyone is.

I'm fine with how everything has gone down so far. I would have preferred that Carl be the one to kill Shane like the comics, but it was close enough. Looking forward to next week.

I've actually come to prefer Rick killing him. It just drove up the intensity level for that scene, seeing as Rick had to kill his best friend. I'm just glad he wasn't killed by a Walker or anything stupid like that. (As ridiculous as saying someone dying via a bite in a Zombie show is)

Rick killing Shane positioned him as the true alpha male to the audience. Carl killing Shane after he came back to life just felt like a cool way to pay homage to the comics. Shane and Rick's relationship was far more intense in the tv series so I thought it was a road they had to take. I think Carl can still become detached the same way over time. He essentially shot Shane in the head, who was like a father figure to him at times, and that is going to affect the psychology of a 12 year old boy.
