Dig the opening promo by Cena and the rest of the gathering and just about every single other person involved in this feud. I'm interested in how War Games will turn out for sure. Tensai getting disqualified I like, it keeps him looking like a beast while not making Cena look like a bitch. I like what Ziggler said about only wasting a day on RVD. Decent little match for Otunga getting over Swagger, as much as I can't picture him as a face. Slater's attack. Ha. Slater as the mascot? Oh my lord. That'll be something. RVD getting the win over Ziggler is fine, I suppose. I guess it just continues the feud on but I would of liked to seen some more out of Ziggler afterward rather than RVD just standing tall. Evan Bourne and Christian getting the win is fine. Really getting Team People Power some overs tonight, aren't we? Punk's skepticism of Cena really has me wondering how close he is to making a heel turn. It seems like it will happen. Eve winning. Cool beans. She's hot. That idea of a team between Santino Marella and Derrick Bateman just really scares me, yo. Del Rio getting the win makes obvious sense with the local competitor. Not sure about him versus Brodus Clay. I guess it's fine. For now. Lastly, what the frick? Wade Barrett defeating CM Punk for the WWE Championship!? Cleanly, nonetheless!? Big decision, making sense with the English crowd. A good show overall, the only thing I could complain about is Team People Power getting too much up on Team Punk.

| WWE NXT | April 18th, 2012 | Winter Park, FL |
- After the WWE signature intro, footage from earlier in the day was shown, featuring the entire NXT roster surrounding the ring. NXT Interim General Manager Dusty Rhodes was inside the ring, speaking to everyone. Dusty said that we are now three weeks into the new era of NXT, and it's come to his attention that there are some standing before him today that don't want to be here. They feel they are ready for the big leagues and they deserve to be on RAW or SmackDown. They believe NXT is just a waste of time for them. "I've called you all here today because of recent events. This past Monday on RAW, Wade Barrett became the new WWE Champion. And at WrestleMania a few weeks back, Daniel Bryan won the World Heavyweight Title. And do you know where the both of them got their starts in WWE? NXT. Which means I could be looking at the next WWE Champion right now, or the next World Heavyweight Champion. And we're going to find out who wants it. Over these next two weeks, I'm going to evaluate everyone. And mark this date. May 2nd, I have a huge announcement." Dusty thanked the roster for their time, allowing them to head back to the locker rooms to prepare for tonight's show.
- After the intro video, the hot Full Sail University audience was shown as William Regal and Byron Saxton welcome everyone to WWE NXT. The duo quickly commented on Dusty Rhodes' announcement, Regal saying that he hopes to see everyone step up their game over these next two weeks. As Saxton was giving his thoughts, the audience could be heard booing as Curt Hawkins and Tyler Reks hit the ring through the audience. Hawkins said that for the past two weeks, these "rookies" have gotten lucky. Seth Rollins, Kassius Ohno, their victories are nothing more than flukes. "NXT is our show, and we're not leaving until we re-claim it!" shouted Reks. "And just like CM Punk after Extreme Rules, these rookies will be gone," Hawkins added. As the audience showered the duo with boos, the theme of Seth Rollins hit as they turned to cheers. Rollins said that he's sure that he speaks for everyone in Full Sail University when he says that he's had just about enough of hearing the two of them ramble. "You didn't get beat by rookies. You got beat by two up and coming stars who are better than you." Hawkins said that the little blonde streak Rollins has going on has found its way into his brain. "You? Better than us? We're more talented than you. We're better looking than you. We have more Twitter followers than you. And hell, we're endorsed by John Laurinaitis. How are you better than us?" asked Hawkins. Rollins said that his proof lies in the fact that he beat Hawkins in that ring. Reks told Rollins that even if he did beat his boy, he didn't beat him. "No, but I did," said Kassius Ohno as he made his way out to the stage to more cheers. Ohno said that he and Rollins may not see eye to eye, but he has a point. It's really tedious seeing Hawkins and Reks whine and moan when they've already been beaten. "We beat you two separately, and we'll beat you together," said Ohno. Reks and Hawkins looked at each other with puzzled looks for Hawkins said "You want a tag team match? Tonight? Hey, with us two together in this ring, we're going to prove that these two past two weeks were nothing more than flukes. You're on." The audience popped as Rollins and Ohno shook hands before backing up the entrance ramp.
- Cutting backstage, Alex Riley was shown walking down a corridor when he met up with Richie Steamboat. The two are in tag team action, next.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning to NXT on ION Television, a recap of the opening segment was shown, announcing Seth Rollins and Kassius Ohno against WWE superstars Curt Hawkins and Tyler Reks tonight. And speaking of tag team action, that's just we have headed our way right now.
- ALEX RILEY AND RICHIE STEAMBOAT DEF. COREY GRAVES AND JAKE CARTER: A very exciting way to kick off an already explosive edition of NXT. With Interim GM Dusty Rhodes' announcement at the top of the show, all four men stepped up their game and showed why they should be classified as the top stars of the brand. After Richie delivered a crossbody to Graves on the outside, Riley planted Carter with the TKO to get the victory.
- The crowd popped as Riley raised his arms in victory, Steamboat soon joining him. The duo celebrated their victory as we saw Dusty Rhodes in his office, looking very impressed with what he saw out of the two. Riley and Richie made their way up the entrance ramp, victorious here on NXT.
- A graphic was shown for tonight's main event, featuring WWE superstars Curt Hawkins and Tyler Reks against Seth Rollins and Kassius Ohno.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- A promo was shown for this Friday's edition of SmackDown. After his shocking victory in his debut match last week, new Intercontinental Champion Antonio Cesaro will speak to the WWE Universe, but can only imagine that the former champion Sheamus won't be too far behind. Plus, new WWE Champion Wade Barrett will be present in front of his home audience in England. Friday Night SmackDown, this Friday on SyFy.
- MASON RYAN DEF. JASON JORDAN: The audience was left speechless at the destruction orchestrated by Mason Ryan. After returning from a hiatus, the Welsh Mammoth was able to easily put Jordan away after a Full Nelson Slam.
- Mason Ryan slowly stood to his feet, refusing to have his hand raised by the official. He picked Jason Jordan up, only to bring him back down with another Full Nelson Slam. Mason made his way up the entrance ramp, William Regal stating that this was sure to have opened the eyes of Dusty Rhodes.
- Backstage, Sofia Cortez was shown in her locker room when a new Diva walked in, introducing herself as Audrey Marie. Audrey told Sofia that she was just informed that next week, they'll be competing against each other. She's not here to try and befriend Sofia, but rather to let her know that she won't be an easy victory next week. Sofia said that she can respect Audrey telling her that to her face. After the two shook hands, Audrey asked Sofia something. "Here, backstage on NXT. Do you ever feel like you're being watched?" After Sofia asked what she meant, Audrey stated that she's felt a bit uncomfortable at times. As if somebody is watching her. "Nope, never had that feeling. Must be paranoia-thing you Texas girls carry," said Sofia.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- At this time, the RAW Rebound was shown. The video package focused primarily on what the world was anticipating, CM Punk vs. Wade Barrett for the WWE Championship. After a long back and forth battle, it was a Wasteland from the top rope that allowed Barrett to cover Punk and get the victory. In front of an English audience, Wade Barrett became the first ever English-born WWE Champion.
- DAMIEN SANDOW DEF. XAVIER WOODS:Prior to the bout, Sandow cut a promo saying that Dusty Rhodes should not have to keep his eyes open for this match. That is due to the fact that since his debut on NXT two weeks ago, he should already be number one the Dusty's list of superstars to not only watch, but listen to and bow at his feet. Wood managed to get a bit of offense in, but the match was basically all Sandow as he hit the Terminus to get the win.
- The Full Sail University audience booed as Sandow stood to his feet, doing a cartwheel and taking a bow to celebrate his victory. "You're welcome!" he shouted as he headed up the entrance ramp.
- Backstage, NXT Interim General Manager Dusty Rhodes was shown in his office when JTG walked in. He asked Dusty why he was not on the show tonight? "You know the world needs their weekly dose of the mayor of Fly City, population 1!" Dusty told JTG that while he may not be in action tonight, he will be next week. Because as he said earlier, he's looking to see what everyone here has to offer. So next week, there's going to be a 10-man Battle Royal. JTG said that he has no problem taking everyone else on this roster, tossing them over the top rope, and prove to the world why he is Mr. NXT.
- Cutting to another camera, Curt Hawkins and Tyler Reks were shown making their way down to the ring. They meet Seth Rollins and Kassius Ohno, next.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- A promo was shown for WWE Extreme Rules, live Sunday April 29th, only on pay-per-view.
- SETH ROLLINS AND KASSIUS OHNO DEF. CURT HAWKINS AND TYLER REKS: An incredible tag team bout to close out tonight's edition of NXT. While Reks and Hawkins were out to prove that their losses in the recent weeks were flukes, the performances from Rollins and Ohno may have opened a few eyes about the two "rookies." After Ohno delivered an elbow to the temple of Reks, he dropped to one knee as Rollins hit the Blackout to secure the victory.
- Full Sail University erupted as Rollins and Ohno raised one another's arms, proving to the world that their victories were far from flukes. After several replays from the match were shown, Ohno made his way up the entrance ramp while Rollins stuck around with the fans for a bit, NXT coming to a close.

WWE Monday Night RAW: Monday 2nd April 2012...Ah, didn't notice that you killed off "RAW Supershow", good call. Alright, time for the fallout of WrestleMania XXVIII! Natalya beating Maxine was fine, I really hope that Maxine gets better recognition in the WWE, as she left shortly after this due to lack of air time. She had an original gimmick, anyhow. Rey Mysterio with a win against Jack Swagger was fine, good main event match for Superstars; strange to see Mysterio stuck on Superstars, especially after WrestleMania. Solid opening promo with CM Punk in the ring to discuss Wade Barrett and John Laurinaitis. I did like that this led to the ultimate match set-up, preparing us for Extreme Rules already. Fantastic idea with War Games being dragged out: however, I think you should have left it until next week. It just seems a little rushed, so soon after WrestleMania. Great proposal though, definitely giving it a big feel headed into the fallout pay-per-view from the big one. Good call there, especially since viewership typically dips greatly following the grandest stage of them all. Evan Bourne leading People Power though? Mmm, not so convinced about that. Dolph Ziggler beating David Otunga didn't sound like a bad match to open the show, but I'm not too sure about Otunga as a face yet. Hopefully he gains a legitimate persona. Ziggler's win and his post-match promo essentially legitimized him as the Money in the Bank briefcase holder, though. The Miz disappearing after the Miami Street Fight? Strange, I guess he got injured by Mick Foley in the process of winning. I'd have switched up the first two matches - the Loser Leaves RAW match should have gone on first in the ring - just down to the fact that Brodus Clay and John Morrison have established feud, whereas Ziggler just needed a win after WrestleMania. Good call to have Morrison leave from this, it got Brodus more over and made him appear "unbeatable". R-Truth being rejected by Laurinaitis is hilarious: how did Truth get put in a wheelchair again? I think I missed something. Cool jab at Howard Finkel there, too. There are so many lawsuit attempts here in the WWE, it's funny. Decent first-hour main event win for CM Punk against Evan Bourne, giving us an optimistic note to end the feud progression for RAW tonight. Heath Slater and David Otunga's segment was nice, had Otunga not lost earlier on tonight. It somewhat gave us a reason to cheer for Otunga, in any event. Trish Stratus being forced to relinquish the WWE Divas Champion to Beth Phoenix's distain was a nice twist. Good farewell for Trish, this tournament sounds very fun. Decent battle royal with Wade Barrett overcoming the RAW roster to gain a rematch against CM Punk. Brodus nearly winning - Funk IS on a roll lately. Barrett's promo was great, good decision to have the WWE Championship rematch on the United Kingdom episode of RAW - the atmosphere would be intriguing. And lastly, fantastic promo to close the show with John Cena tweenering this time around. Nice promo with the Rock, but I'm unsure on why Stone Cold Steve Austin had to appear here. A feel-good close to the show, but it made Cena look inferior, which isn't a good thing considering that Cena is the legitimate top guy in the full-time division of the company. Overall, a great fallout show bringing us into the Spring season following WrestleMania; several booking flaws, or things that I would have done differently, but nonetheless, looking forward to seeing how this goes from here.
WWE NXT: Wednesday 4th April 2012...Alright, the new season of NXT from Full-Sail University! Nice introductory promo from NXT General Manager, Dusty Rhodes...wait, interim GM? I wonder who the proper GM is, in that case. Hopefully AW. Richie Steamboat beating Brad Maddox was fine, not a lot to add. Didn't really give off a special feel that this was the premiere though, I didn't think. I think you could have done a relatively bigger match to make the show seem more unpredictable and explosive - say Steamboat facing Justin Gabriel, or something like that. Alex Riley's promo was interesting but nothing special - I hope he climbs up to the main roster again soon. The Ascension beating CJ Parker and Jason Jordan wasn't too noteworthy, another development with introducing Conor O'Brien and Kenneth Cameron. I hope Curt Hawkins sticks around! I wonder where Tyler Reks is here, though. Great set-up in this segment for our first main event - Curt Hawkins facing Seth Rollins sounds great. Damien Sandow's promo was excellently written, and introduces us to his character. I really am hoping that several of these stars from NXT aren't forgotten about and left to rive on NXT forever - in Sandow's, Rollin's, Kassius Ohno's and Bray Wyatt's case. And Antonio Cesaro's, provided he gets brought up. I guess we have our first angle for Sandow, facing Alex Riley in the near future expectedly. Alex Riley got an obvious win against Aiden English. I'm glad you included an NXT divas segment, too. It gave us a look at Sofia Cortez; let's hope you capitalize on her, so she doesn't leave like in reality. Lastly, expected and great win for Rollins against Curt Hawkins! Overall, great premiere show, I'd have changed some things with the format, but it's the first show so things are expected to seem a little rough around the edges. No Bray Wyatt vignettes? I am disappointed! Good work, I'm looking forward to seeing how NXT develops in the upcoming weeks.
WWE Friday Night SmackDown: Friday 6th April 2012...Decent win for the Usos against Primo and Epico - it's sort of sad that these two teams are the only legitimate tag teams in the company. And Drew McIntyre got a good win against Derrick Bateman. If you could, I'd really like to see McIntyre get more featured and built up during 2012. Chris Jericho kicking off the show in the ring was good, decent promo focusing on wanting a rematch against Daniel Bryan. I'm anticipating a triple threat match heading into Extreme Rules also involving Sheamus. AJ and Daniel Bryan still going quite well, that's interesting. I'm wondering when their relationship will come to an end. Maybe Bryan will let the World Heavyweight Championship get to his head as the title reign goes on, who knows. Wow, Michael McGillicutty and Ted Dibiase won the WWE Tag Team Championships: I'm split on this. I still think it's too soon, but on the other hand it makes the hot post-WrestleMania-driven crowd pop for a title change: however like you said, "after weeks of chasing the gold"...I think Extreme Rules would have been a better place to hold it, or more of a storyline to contribute to the title change. Up next, decent win for Randy Orton against Johnny Curtis: I'm hoping that Curtis gets a rise before long, he's one of the best workers in the company right now, and he is incredibly good with facial expressions and to an extent, comedy mic work. More of this feud with Orton and Dean Ambrose sounds great. Hoping to see it stretch even further from Extreme Rules. Nice brawl segment. Alberto Del Rio gets his own back after losing the triple threat match last Sunday night, good call. Decent win against Sin Cara to hopefully finish their feud at long last. Rey Mysterio and Del Rio STILL have heat though...intriguing. Hoping to see Cody Rhodes finally step up to the main event level this Summer; I'd dig a Cody and Bryan feud. It has potential to get VERY heated. Wow, enter Titus O'Neill and Darren Young. Good establishing tag team win for them against Trent Barreta and Yoshi Tatsu, although hopefully they don't gain the WWE Tag Team Championships as quick as Dibiase and McGillicutty did: however, that'll be difficult with both teams taking on a heel persona. The tag division IS looking great at the moment, though. The aftermath established the Prime Time Players' persona and gimmick, very nice. Kane defeating Santino Marella was basic, wondering what he'll do from here; odd decision to have Big Show just disappear. Kane and Show feuding in 2012 doesn't sound apetizing at all. And lastly, great main event win for Daniel Bryan in defeating Sheamus - I'm skeptical of this match happening here though, given that it was the only reason for Sheamus, Kane, Show and Mark Henry to compete at WrestleMania, a shot at the World Heavyweight Championship...at Extreme Rules, not SmackDown. However, the finish sort of presents some heat between Sheamus and Chris Jericho - so perhaps a triple threat match at Extreme Rules could happen! Would be a great idea. Another thing, I hope Bryan gets properly established as a credible champion, rather than here where Jericho got involved. Overall, another decent show with several things I would have changed, however SmackDown is the best recently, and it's all down to your booking. Good job.
WWE Monday Night RAW: Monday 9th April 2012...Jack Swagger with a win is nice, hopefully he breaks out of the Superstars pact soon, a good win against Derrick Bateman. David Otunga beating Drew McIntyre was good, decent RAW side of things here on Superstars. Nice opening segment with John Cena, trying to redeem himself after his heelish actions last week, and to try and regain his momentum. Decent offer turned down by CM Punk to join his team? I like the idea of the lack of trust between Cena and Punk - they are ultimately the biggest rivals that WWE has had in years. Tensai beating Kofi Kingston didn't sound like a bad start to the show, I think both teams suit their sides a lot - Kofi as CM Punk's travel wife, and Tensai as the enforcer in People Power. Zack Ryder on Team Punk is great, and I liked how the conversation with Punk and Ryder went through a commercial break...now is Punk trying to brainwash his members into not trusting John Cena? Dramarama~! Alberto Del Rio beating Santino Marella...Marella really needs momentum, if only a little bit. Brodus Clay has his next angle perhaps? That could be interesting, I look forward to seeing how you handle that. Beat the Clock returns to SmackDown this week, that's always a fun concept to base an episode of SmackDown around. Up next, decent first-hour main event win for Zack Ryder against Christian, Ryder retaining the WWE United States Championship in a WrestleMania rematch. Hmm, I sort of like how you're making NXT more popular with advertising on RAW - nice usage of Tyler Reks and Curt Hawkins, to set up Wednesday's main event. Layla beating Tamina was the right call, I see Layla coming close to the WWE Divas Championship, if not winning it. I wonder how you're going to base this tournament out leading to the finals, with the finals taking place at Extreme Rules. Six matches left to fit in and all. Derrick Bateman and Santino Marella as a tag team? Love it already! Dolph Ziggler's promo was great, further letting everybody know that he's Mr Money in the Bank - and a great way to introduce the idea that he's not the best, with 2006 Mr Money in the Bank holder Rob Van Dam coming out to cut him off. I'm looking forward to where this goes. Hahaha! I love the relationship you've given John Laurinaitis and Heath Slater, so good. R-Truth's brief segment sounded hilarious, a face turn perhaps? David Otunga on the case! Brodus Clay beating Heath Slater was expected, liked the attack from Alberto Del Rio. And lastly, against all odds, a great win for CM Punk against Wade Barrett and Evan Bourne, even if it wasn't on clean terms. Nice involvement from the other War Games participants, but wow, great use of a cliffhanger ending with Cena being forced onto Punk: more odds against Punk! I'm looking forward to seeing where this goes. A great show, better than last week.
WWE NXT: Wednesday 11th April 2012...Alright, good promo to kick things off, Tyler Reks explaining his beef with Seth Rollins. Wow, Kassius Ohno facing Tyler Reks is interesting, but I'm hoping it doesn't identify Ohno as a face - he's so much better in a heel role. Mmm, weak opening contest with JTG gaining some establishment, beating Mike Dalton. It's alright for the show, but not so much for opening the show. It did, however give him a persona and a gimmick, which is good enough for me. More business between Rollins and Reks, I'm liking the recognition you're giving Reks and Curt Hawkins on this show. Sofia Cortez beating Caylee Turner was fine. Hopefully Caylee sticks around, she's pretty cute. Also, where is Paige? Mason Ryan coming to NXT? Interesting, but eh, I'm not that interested. Corey Graves and Jake Carter didn't do much for me, there wasn't too much persona given. Jiro and Sakamoto sounds like a sweet tag team, though. Damien Sandow clearing house of the Japanese stars was fun to say the least. And lastly, decent yet expected win for Kassius Ohno against Tyler Reks. Overall, not too good or interesting a show this week. You're testing the waters for the format of this show, but the fact is that whilst you're introducing talent in squash matches, not a lot more is given. Additionally, where are the other talents? Bray Wyatt, Paige, Antonio Cesaro, Leo Kruger, Bo Dallas, Big E Langston? I think running some more vignettes would be a good idea, and maybe an extra competitive match on the show would be cool as well. I understand you're trying to pace things out, but at the same time, if this show was presented to a television audience, I wouldn't really be that interested in watching. Hoping to see this improved greatly, it has potential!
WWE Friday Night SmackDown: Friday 13th April 2012...Jinder Mahal beating Trent Barreta is fine, as is Kaitlyn beating Rosa Mendes. Not a great deal to add, really. Good promo to kick things off, with Sheamus in the ring. I hate the idea that this could potentially mean that Sheamus has lost his place in a World Heavyweight Championship shot, all down to Chris Jericho. Yes! Antonio Cesaro debuting in a big way, good call to have him challenge for the WWE Intercontinental Championship - however, not a lot is told about him here. Additionally, I'm still not a fan of Sheamus suddenly deciding to wait for revenge on Chris Jericho, or another World Heavyweight Championship shot, it doesn't really suit Sheamus' character. Decent opening contest with Randy Orton clearly beating Jack Swagger in a solid bout. I'm interested in what Orton against Dean Ambrose will have at Extreme Rules. Ryback! Yeah! I'm hoping you know how to build him up better than how WWE have in reality. Sheamus has a wound, that's unfortunate. Ted Dibiase and Michael McGillicutty gained establishment in defeating the Usos, one day I'm hoping that Jimmy and Jey manage to win the WWE Tag Team Championships. They've waited the longest for it, having been around the scene since 2010. Decent promo to open up the second hour of SmackDown, with Chris Jericho in the ring. Wow, great set-up, a thirty-minute Ironman match for Extreme Rules. I'm looking forward to it, however I would find that a thirty-minute Ultimate Submission match would have been much better to watch, just because Chris Jericho and Daniel Bryan have pretty effective submission finishers. Plus, it's been a while since we last saw an Ultimate Submission match! Wow, more from the Prime Time Players, interrupting Dibiase and McGillicutty. I'm interested in how the teams' relationship works out over time. Maxine beating AJ was a surprise, but I'm glad to see it. Wow, Chris Jericho attacked Daniel Bryan? Lovely angle, it set up a great distraction. Aw, Bryan's such a sweetheart. Dean Ambrose was given Ezekiel Jackson? And Orton was given Jack Swagger? Hmm... Additionally, if Ambrose took longer to beat Zeke, the match would have ended at 8:26. Nevermind, I guess. Last Man Standing for Ambrose vs Orton sounds fantastic, hopefully it will be a brutal match. Hah, I almost forgot about Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara. Their tag team beginning perhaps? And lastly, as I expected, Antonio Cesaro beating Sheamus was great, and surely a shocker for the fans to see this. Additionally, another title change following WrestleMania! Great heat capture for the new WWE Intercontinental Champion (ever notice how this title always seems to change hands on SmackDown?), but the main question is, can he back it up? I expect a feud between Sheamus and Cesaro to build from here. Overall, another great episode of SmackDown, just several things I felt weren't needed or should have been done differently. Great work on the diary, though, very committed with a great sense of detail and formatting.

So, Raw in the UK-- let's do this. Interesting way to kick things off, I think Cena will prove his loyalty though. Cena with a DQ victory was good to keep Tensai strong, but not sure if it was totally necessary. I can't take Otunga seriously as a babyface, just doesn't feel right to me. Good to see Slater making an impact though. A good victory for Rob Van Dam, but as I've said before, it's obvious he isn't taking the briefcase anywhere. A nice way to involve the other War Games participants, and I'm pleased to see the heel victorious. Evan Bourne as the United States Champion is always something I could enjoy, so hopefully he gets the title soon. Very happy to see Eve defeat Kelly Kelly, I hope she wins the whole thing, she's the only credible Diva to me right now. Obvious win for Alberto Del Rio, and I do like this feud with Brodus Clay, but a Strap Match? Unsure about that. Extremely shocked to see you end CM Punk's WWE Championship reign in England, but it is good to see Wade Barrett as the WWE Champion. It feels overshadowed by the oncoming War Games, however. Almost as if it doesn't even matter. Really good UK show though.

| Friday Night SmackDown! | April 20th, 2012 | London, England |

WWE Superstars 4/19 Taping Results AJ def. Tamina Sheamus def. Drew McIntyre - After the signature WWE intro, we cut immediately to the arena here in London as cameras scanned over the audience. "Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome........the NEW WWE Champion, Wade Barrett!" The English audience erupted as the theme of Barrett hit, out coming the bare knuckle fighter with the WWE Title draped over his shoulder. He raised the title high in the air to an even louder reaction before marching down to the ring. He grabbed a microphone as the audience continued to cheer on the first ever English born WWE Champion. ".......Best in the world!" shouted Barrett, mocking the former champion CM Punk. Barrett said that after this past Monday, the WWE Universe can now say that this company has taken one giant step towards a new era. Because now, they have a WWE Champion that they can be proud of. Not some scruffy-looking imbecile who held this place hostage for a few perks. A true gentlemen, a true honorable competitor is now holding the gold. "And above all else, finally, an English man," said Barrett as the audience roared once again. "And as I said, my becoming of WWE Champion was one giant step, but not a complete one. A new era will be ushered in next Sunday after Team People Power is victorious in War Games and CM Punk is exiled from this business. And whether or not John Cena puts the dagger in your back, Punk, the closing image will still be the same. Me, John Laurinaitis, and the rest of our team standing over you inside the War Games structure as your hometown crowd witnesses your downfall." Barrett said that he initially came to SmackDown tonight to give this speech, but was then informed by Theodore Long that tonight's main event will be a champion vs. champion match, pitting him against the World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan. Barrett said that in any other location, he would've pushed Teddy aside and walked out of the arena in protest. But he wants his first match as WWE Champion to be here in England, which is why he will step into this ring once again tonight and humiliate Daniel Bryan the way he did CM Punk. Barrett dropped his microphone as he raised the title one more time to the delight of his home-country audience.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning to SmackDown, WWE Champion Wade Barrett was shown returning to the locker room area, where he met up with Chris Jericho. He hugged Barrett, telling him that ever since the day he met him on NXT, he knew he would be champion someday. "And now it's time for me to once again do the same at Extreme Rules, which is why I'm glad you'll be taking care of Bryan nine days before our match. And once you're done with him, I doubt he'll be able to go three minutes, let alone thirty," said Jericho.
- WWE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS - TED DIBIASE AND MICHAEL MCGILLICUTTY DEF. JUSTIN GABRIEL AND TYSON KIDD: After capturing the gold two weeks ago, DiBiase and McGillicutty had their first championship defense against the former title holders. The result remained the same after McGillicutty got his knees up during a 450 attempt, catching Gabriel with a running neckbreaker.
- The audience showed their disapproval for the outcome as DiBiase and McGillicutty were handed back their titles. Tyson Kidd assisted Gabriel to his feet as the two third generation superstars stood on the stage, raising the titles high in the air.
- At this time a recap of last week's events between Sheamus and the debuting Antonio Cesaro was shown. In the main event, Cesaro shocked the world by picking up the victory and the Intercontinental Championship in his first match ever on SmackDown. A graphic was shown for tonight as Cesaro will not only be in action once again, but speak to the WWE Universe on why he is the next big thing in sports entertainment.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning to Friday Night SmackDown here in the UK, WWE Tag Team Champions Ted DiBiase and Michael McGillicutty were shown backstage, once again gloating about their victory moments ago. They were soon met by SmackDown GM Teddy Long, who congratulated the two. He said that they have been very impressive as of late, and has noticed a lot of fresh, hungry blood in the tag team division. There's a lot of teams that deserve an opportunity. DiBiase told Teddy that it doesn't matter who is next in line. They are the Tag Team Champions, and will take on any and all challengers. "So which team is next?" asked McGillicutty. Teddy said that it's more like "which teams are next." Because he has decided that at Extreme Rules, the titles will be on the line in a Tag Team Turmoil.
- DIVAS CHAMPIONSHIP QUARTER FINALS - NATALYA DEF. KAITLYN: The final first round match in this tournament as next week, we will be find out the two Divas who compete for the vacant championship at Extreme Rules. Natalya was able to secure her spot in the semi-finals, forcing Kaitlyn to submit to the Sharpshooter.
- Natalya released the Sharpshooter as she raised her arms in celebration. The updated brackets for the tournament were shown as we are now down to four. Next Monday, it will be Layla vs. Maxine, followed by Eve vs. Natalya on SmackDown. The winners of those two matches will compete for the title next Sunday at Extreme Rules.
- Backstage, World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan was shown in his locker room when Cody Rhodes walked in. Bryan asked what he wanted, to which Cody responded "Everything that I deserve, but you somehow posses." He said that it should've been him who won Money In The Bank last year in Chicago. It should've been him who not only headlined WrestleMania, but walked out as World Heavyweight Champion. Bryan said that it's people like Cody who he set out to prove wrong. It looks like becoming World Heavyweight Champion didn't get his point across, so he'll have to prove Cody wrong physically. "Seriously? Are you challenging me?" asked Cody. After Bryan said yes, Cody told him that he's on. Next week, the two of them one on one. "And after I beat you, I'll prove why I am the rightful and un-crowned World Heavyweight Champion."
- Cutting to another camera, Randy Orton was shown making his way down to the ring. He meets Chris Jericho, next!
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- A promo was shown for next Monday's edition of RAW. After the events of this past Monday, John Laurinaitis and Team People Power have announced that there will be two celebrations. The celebration of Wade Barrett's becoming of WWE Champion, and a goodbye celebration for CM Punk. Monday Night RAW, live next Monday on USA.
- RANDY ORTON DEF. CHRIS JERICHO VIA DQ: An excellent bout between two former rivals to round out the first hour here on SmackDown in the UK. As Orton was getting ready to strike with the RKO, Dean Ambrose ran down to ringside and pulled the Viper out of the ring, causing the disqualification finish.
- The bell sounded as Ambrose stomped away on Orton for a bit before tossing him back into the ring. Orton was able to quickly get back to his feet and fight back against Ambrose with a few closed fists. When Orton turned around, he was hit with a Codebreaker from Jericho. The already-concussed Orton felt the effects as he remained on the mat, holding his forehead. Jericho left the ring as Ambrose grabbed a microphone. As Orton stirred to his feet, he was hit with a vicious Knee Trembler. With Orton motionless, Ambrose counted to ten, successfully reaching it. He stood tall over Orton, sending a huge message for their Last Man Standing match in nine nights at Extreme Rules.
- Backstage, SmackDown General Manager Teddy Long was shown in his office when a knock was heard on the door. A man in a suit walked in, stating that his name was AW. Teddy said that he knew he was since he signed him as part of the talent initiative. AW said that he is the owner of the globally acclaimed All World Promotions, though business has been a bit slow as of late. He's here on SmackDown to see if anyone on the roster is worthy of holding the name "All World Promotions' newest client." "So Teddy, let 'em know that the opportunity of a lifetime awaits. 'Cause I guarantee that no matter who I choose to represent All World Promotions, you're gonna have a star on your hands."
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning from the commercial break, the vignette from the past two weeks were shown, once again capping off with the name "Ryback" appearing on the screen. Following that, another caption appeared reading "Next week."
- Backstage in the Divas locker room, a disappointed Kaitlyn was shown packing her bags after being eliminated from the Divas Championship tournament earlier tonight. Suddenly, one of the lockers slowly opened as we saw Johnny Curtis peak his head out, staring endlessly at Kaitlyn. He crept back into the locker room, closing it without Kaitlyn noticing.
- INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION ANTONIO CESARO DEF. PERCY WATSON: A simple victory here for SmackDown's newest star and the new Intercontinental Champion, continuing to look impressive by putting Watson away with the Ricola Bomb.
- Cesaro stood to his feet as he was handed the Intercontinental Championship, though he also asked for a microphone. Cesaro said that last week should not have come as a shock to the world, which is why he feels insulted with the way that term has been thrown around. "Let this be known. Every time I step into this ring, it is a guaranteed victory for Antonio Cesaro. I am the best competitor on the entire roster, and my accolades within a mere seven days prove that to be a fact. And just like Wade Barrett, the world has a champion they can be proud of. Because unlike that miserable filth Sheamus, I am not some barbaric brawler. I am a natural competitor who thrives on action and competition, rather than embarrassing myself to the extent that Sheamus has shown." Cesaro was soon cut off by the arrival of the former champion, Sheamus. He said that he has to give it to Cesaro. He underestimated him last week and paid the price. "But fella, I know you now. And at Extreme Rules, when I invoke my rematch clause, your fifteen minutes of fame will come to an end." Cesaro told Sheamus that he shouldn't get too ahead of himself. He was already informed by Theodore Long of the rematch at Extreme Rules, and a fair trade was made. If it were up to him, the rematch would not be next Sunday, and he doesn't see that as an ideal time to have his first title defense. But in exchange for that, Theodore has allowed him to choose the stipulation for their match. "So Sheamus, be prepared to step into my world. A Swiss Rules match." Cesaro placed his microphone on the mat as he raised the Intercontinental Championship high in the air, Sheamus wondering what everyone else way. What's a Swiss Rules match?
- A graphic was shown for tonight's main event. It is champion vs. champion as World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan takes on the new WWE Champion, Wade Barrett.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning to SmackDown, a graphic was shown for the match made by SmackDown GM Teddy Long earlier in the evening, a Tag Team Turmoil at Extreme Rules. Along with the defending champions Ted DiBiase and Michael McGillicutty, we have now learned that they will be joined by Justin Gabriel and Tyson Kidd and the Prime Time Players. Three more teams will join them as the new champions look to be at a disadvantage come next Sunday.
- KANE DEF. THE USOS: After his attack last week on the duo, Kane was pitted in a handicap match against the Usos tonight. The two Samoan brothers did mange to give the Big Red Monster a challenge, but it was Kane who still managed to prevail after planting Jey with a huge Chokeslam.
- Following the match, Kane tossed Jey to the outside as he pulled Jimmy into the center of the ring. He shouted for the Big Show, though there was no answer. This led to him delivering another Chokeslam, this time to Jimmy as he did his fire taunt. Kane is still hell bent on getting revenge against the Big Show, and doesn't give a single care who has to make an example out of.
- Backstage, World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan was shown in his locker room when AJ walked in. She wished Bryan luck, saying that she'll be out there tonight to support him. Bryan had other plans, telling AJ to stay in the back. He's sure that Jericho will be out there, and doesn't her to go anywhere near him. "If he can't get to me, he'll get to you, and you in danger is the last thing I need right now." Bryan gave her a peck on the forehead before heading down to the ring, ready to meet Wade Barrett in a champion vs. champion match.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- A promo was shown for WWE Extreme Rules, live next Sunday, only on pay-per-view.
- Returning to SmackDown, a graphic was shown for next week's main event that was made earlier tonight. 48 hours before he endures 30 minutes against Chris Jericho, World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan meets Cody Rhodes one on one, next Friday on SmackDown. But before Bryan gets to Cody, he another challenge ahead of him.
- WWE CHAMPION WADE BARRETT DEF. WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION DANIEL BRYAN: A great, huge match to close out this UK edition of SmackDown. Much like this past Monday on RAW, the English audience was heavily in favor of the native English-man and new WWE Champion. As Bryan was positioned on the top turnbuckle, Chris Jericho made his way down to ringside. Bryan took his eye off of Wade and delivered a cross body to the man he meets in nine nights at Extreme Rules. When Bryan slid back into the ring, he walked right into Wasteland as Barrett hit it to get the victory.
- The English audience erupted once again for their own Wade Barrett as he was handed back his newly-won WWE Championship, raising it in celebration. Chris Jericho grabbed the World Heavyweight Championship as he joined Barrett in the ring, the former pro/rookie pairing holding up the gold, a sign that could become a reality next Sunday at Extreme Rules.

TWT 4/22 - On Screen Relationship Role Rising, English Competitor Receives Tryout, Top Star Undergoes Surgery, New Vignettes Filmed, New RAW Logo, Extreme Rules Pre-Show Match
- Since WrestleMania XXVIII, many have noticed a bit more air-time for the on screen could of AJ and the new World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan. The role for the couple is said to see a rise in the coming weeks, and could become one of the major focal points of SmackDown.
- Prior to the television tapings for RAW this past week in London, English professional wrestler PAC received a tryout match. The 25 year old competitor, dubbed the "Man Gravity Forgot," has been part of multiple notable promotions around the world including Nu Wrestling Evolution (Italy), Ring of Honor (USA) and Dragon Gate (Japan). No word yet on whether or not he has signed with World Wrestling Entertainment, though we're sure we will hear more in the future regarding PAC.
- On Wednesday, Mark Henry announced via his Twitter account that he is scheduled to undergo surgery this week, explaining why we haven't seen the World's Strongest Man since WrestleMania. No word on when, or even if, we will see Henry back in action in the ring.
- While the WWE Superstars were touring the United Kingdom this past week, the production crew back in the US were still at work. There were said to be several vignettes filmed, and we could see the first as early as RAW tomorrow night. From what we understand, the vignettes were not for a debuting superstar, but rather for a repackaged star.
- A new RAW logo was leaked online this weekend, and many sources are confirming that it is indeed legitimate. The word is that the new logo will be debuting next Monday to signify a new era with either of the two possible outcomes in the War Games match at Extreme Rules.
- Speaking of War Games, WWE.com announced the YouTube pre-show match for Extreme Rules, which will have an impact on the main event. It will be David Otunga vs. Heath Slater, with Otunga representing Team Punk and Slater representing Team People Power. The winning representative will give their team the numbers advantage in the War Games match.

WWE Monday Night RAW: Monday 16th April 2012...Brie Bella beating Alicia Fox was fair, not a lot to add. Santino Marella beating Hunico was fine, would've made a fun comedy match. Good start to the hyped United Kingdom RAW show, John Cena kicking things off sounded about right, furthering the tension with himself and CM Punk, as they head to War Games at Extreme Rules against People Power. I like the heights you have given to this feud, John Laurinaitis' career in the WWE against CM Punk's. Cena beating Tensai by disqualification was fine, a solid opening contest; I'd have perhaps made it the first-hour main event, though. Just seems weird to see Cena in the opening contest, especially in the UK. Nice attack after the match, but strange call from Laurinaitis to perhaps save Cena for another day...maybe a hint at the future? Intriguing. David Otunga beating Jack Swagger was a surprise, but it got him over pretty well. I liked that Heath Slater attacked Otunga though, but I can't imagine Big Johnny will recognise him, nor will he get away with this. It seems to me like the bigger picture of this feud with CM Punk and Wade Barrett, is CM Punk and John Cena. Mmm... Entertaining segment backstage with Slater and People Power. The Mascot hahaha. Rob Van Dam beating Dolph Ziggler cleanly was a shame, but made for a solid match I'm sure. Nice tag team match to bring us into the second hour meanwhile, with Evan Bourne and Christian beating Kofi Kingston and Zack Ryder, was quite a good match. I see Bourne taking the WWE United States Championship if given the chance, in any event. The tension between Cena and Punk with Laurinaitis playing the role of master manipulator seriously reminds me of Stone Cold and the Alliance, and Vince McMahon; running into Survivor Series 2001. I like it. R-Truth's vignette was hilarious, love it. Eve beating Kelly Kelly was pretty obvious in my mind. I hope Eve gets close or even wins the WWE Divas Championship, she's such a great heel. I'm not sold on having a vignette air for Santino Marella and Derrick Bateman: it'd be fine on SmackDown, but it doesn't strike me as a great filler segment on RAW, unless these two guys had never ever been seen on RAW/the WWE before. Alberto Del Rio beating the Englishman was fine, WWE likes to use enhancement talents whenever they come to the United Kingdom...would've been nice to find out his name though. The segment following with Brodus Clay getting some payback on Del Rio was nice and provided some fan-pleasing entertainment from Brodus for the UK audience. WOW. Wade Barrett wins the WWE Championship - that's different. I sort of like it, too; it makes us feel convinced that Punk could actually lose at Extreme Rules, and have to leave (it's still hard to believe that he will, mind you). What I hated is that Barrett won cleanly. It massively hurt Punk; in fact if Cena accidentally cost Punk the title, it would have made GREAT heat for the two headed into War Games; even if it makes Barrett look like a fluke. It's hard to think Barrett will hold onto the title for a while, though. This match also reminded me of the Hart Foundation at Calgary Stampede - standard foreign heels supported greatly in their hometown. Great stuff. Interesting direction, very realistic and enjoyable show. I can't wait for more from RAW.
WWE NXT: Wednesday 18th April 2012...I liked Dusty Rhodes' motivational speech to the roster, very nicely done and with perfect examples. Curt Hawkins and Tyler Reks invading NXT again is cool, nice promo to talk about the current NXT main eventers, Kassius Ohno and Seth Rollins beating them recently. I'll be really chuffed if you follow up in having Reks and Hawkins join John Laurinaitis' People Power faction as security, by the way, as per real life. Decent set-up angle for tonight's main event tag bout. Seems like a predictable outcome, however. Alex Riley and Richie Steamboat beating Corey Graves and Jake Carter was fine, the better team won in my mind. Glad to see Riley regaining momentum here on this programme, too. Mason Ryan with a win was fine, got him over as dominant in any event. I will say this though; he needs a new finisher. The Full Nelson Slam doesn't do him justice in my mind. So, Audrey Marie eh? Interesting, never heard of her. Where's Paige!? Good introduction for the in-ring debut of Damien Sandow, and Xavier Woods; decent win for Sandow in his debut, good stuff. JTG could easily gain heat using the "buggish, annoying" character, capitalize on it! A ten man battle royal eh? Mr NXT? Hmm, was hoping there'd be a better prize...NXT Champion per se!? And lastly, predictable showcase win for Seth Rollins and Kassius Ohno, beating Curt Hawkins and Tyler Reks. Overall, a decent show, better than last week; but hopefully with the end of the main event programme and most of the talent introduced, we can get down to establishing characters and forwarding new angles and storylines, and perhaps the NXT Champion. Nice progress.
WWE Friday Night SmackDown: Friday 20th April 2012...AJ with a win against Tamina was fair; but wow, Sheamus loses his contention to the World Heavyweight Championship one week, then he loses the WWE Intercontinental Championship to a rookie; and then despite winning against Drew McIntyre, he gets relegated to WWE Superstars! Hahah. Strange move to have Wade Barrett become introduced as WWE Champion here on SmackDown; personally, I'd have left it until RAW on Monday, to make a bigger deal out of it. Plus, I feel like People Power vs CM Punk and Co. needs to be saved for RAW and *maybe* SmackDown next week. Either way, I suppose that SmackDown must be in dire need of ratings, since you're having the WWE Champion face the World Heavyweight Champion tonight. Biiiiig main event this week. Wade Barrett and Chris Jericho's meeting was nice, the hugging may have ruined their cool, heel mystique though. Hot opening contest with the WWE Tag Team Championships - a pity that this match wasn't saved for Extreme Rules, really. There was no real way that Tyson Kidd and Justin Gabriel would regain the titles against Ted Dibiase and Michael McGillicutty tonight - I'm hoping we get more promos from Dibiase and McGillicutty though; more to their persona, more to why we should believe in them as the champions, and more reason to hate them. Liking the focus on Antonio Cesaro tonight, too. The tag team turmoil match at Extreme Rules sounds cool, but I'm doubting a title change will take place. Natalya beats Kaitlyn? Strange decision, since Natalya now has to meet fellow heel, Eve. But I guess Natalya's sort of a tweener. Looking forward to how this tournament reaches the semi-finals and the final next week. Neat segment with Daniel Bryan and Cody Rhodes, perhaps to instrument their future feud following Extreme Rules? Could be cool. Randy Orton and Chris Jericho meet? Another big match for SmackDown tonight, intriguing. Again, nice inclusion with Dean Ambrose causing the disqualification. Ambrose then leaving Orton down and out for the count of ten was a nice touch. I see Orton winning Last Man Standing, though. I really hate to see this feud end, so I'm hoping it runs LONGER. AW! Awesome. Tag in the Prime Time Players. Cool, Ryback's coming next week. And wow, Johnny Curtis perhaps creepily getting himself on WWE television with Kaitlyn? I likey! Nice, simple win for Cesaro against Percy Watson (who I still hate); and the post-match promo was great as well. I like how Cesaro is wanting to be less of a stereotype than Sheamus is, but he probably will realistically: this is the WWE Machine after all~! But on a more serious note, I'm split on the idea of Sheamus facing Cesaro again at Extreme Rules; because there's no way that Cesaro's losing the Intercontinental title this soon, and it'll damage Sheamus at the same time as getting Cesaro over. Anyhow, Kane beating the Usos didn't make Jimmy and Jey look good at all, so soon after the tag team turmoil announcement anyway. It made them look very unworthy of the turmoil slot, and they should look the part, really. They're the most experienced tag team in the division at the moment! And finally, great win for Wade Barrett establishing himself as WWE Champion against Daniel Bryan - particularly with the help of Chris Jericho. Heel heat personified right there! Another decent show, although there were several things I would have done differently: there seemed to be a fair bit of filler on this show.

Champion vs. Champion is a nice way to close SmackDown this week, especially for an England show. Good opening match for the WWE Tag Team Championships, and pleased to see DiBiase and McGillicutty with a victory, even though I still can't quite warm to them as Champions just yet. Tag Team Turmoil is either great for them, or bad for them. Winning it would put them over as a genuine tag team, but I can't see it happening. There are better teams out there for the gold. The right choice to have Natalya beat Kaitlyn, definitely the better of the two. I do predict you'll go for Layla versus Eve though, which I'm fine with. Cody Rhodes versus Daniel Bryan next week? I smell Main Event interference. A good match between Randy Orton and Chris Jericho, and the finish was necessary for both the feud with Ambrose and Jericho's momentum. I'm one of the very few who don't actually see what the big deal with Ambrose is, but I guess that's just me. It's nice to see Abraham Washington back on TV, even if it is in the same role from real-life. Let's hope he doesn't drop any rape bombs. Obvious victory for Antonio Cesaro, although it does seem far too fast of a push still. A Swiss Rules Match, eh? Interessant. Great victory for Kane against The Usos, nice to see him dominating. Okay, I was wrong about the Main Event interference from Cody, but there was still some from Chris Jericho. A nice way for Wade Barrett to pick up his first victory as WWE Champion, and enhance the Bryan/Jericho feud which I assume will come to an end at Extreme Rules. A nice show.

| Monday Night RAW | April 23rd, 2012 | Detroit, MI |
WWE Superstars 4/26 Taping Results Primo and Epico def. Yoshi Tatsu and Trent Barreta to qualify for Tag Team Turmoil Jack Swagger def. Ezekiel Jackson
- Following the intro and pyro display, the commentary unit of Michael Cole and Jerry "The King" Lawler welcomed everyone to what is sure to be a historic edition of Monday Night RAW as tonight is final night of employment for either CM Punk or John Laurinaitis. And in celebration of both Wade Barrett's WWE Championship victory last week, and the inevitable victory of People Power in the War Games match this Sunday (as Michael Cole put it), tonight's show has been dubbed "RAW Is People Power!" And a huge match is set to take place tonight as well. For the first time ever, John Cena goes one on one with Evan Bourne. Plus, one of the two spots in the finals of the Divas Championship tournament will be filled as Layla takes on Maxine. After Cole and King wrapped up the introductions, the theme of John Laurinaitis hit as the audience showered him with boos.
- Laurinaitis made his way down to the ring along with Evan Bourne, Christian, Tensai, Eve, and Heath Slater. Laurinaitis welcomed everyone to the greatest edition of Monday Night RAW in history, RAW Is People Power! "And RAW is all about People Power tonight, and will continue to be after this Sunday. So for anyone out there who believes that tonight is my last night, sorry. And we're going to celebrate CM Punk's departure from the WWE tonight when we throw the former WWE Champion a going away party. But there's another party to be thrown right now because as I stated, CM Punk is the former WWE Champion. And I think now would be a good time to announce that I have terminated CM Punk's rematch clause. He won't be needing it anyways. So ladies and gentlemen, your NEW WWE Champion, Wade Barrett!" The theme of Barrett hit as the new the champion made his way down to the ring, shaking the hands of everyone in his unit for the War Games match on Sunday. Laurinaitis raised his arm before handing him a microphone. Barrett said that last Monday shouldn't have come a surprise to anyone. It was never in question whether or not he would become WWE Champion, it was only a matter of time. And it should've happened at WrestleMania, but things happen for a reason. And ultimately, everything worked out perfectly for him because not only did he become the first ever English-born WWE Champion, but he did it in England. "And that's something worth celebrating. So here's to me, the new WWE Champion, and the beginning of the era of the Barrage." Laurinaitis said that while he's proud to have the WWE Champion in his unit, more gold will soon be added. "Because this Sunday, Eve will become the new Divas Champion. And because of his victory last week, I'm pleased to announce that someday soon, Evan Bourne will receive a United States Championship match!" Bourne hugged Laurinaitis after hearing the news. Barrett said that tonight is not a one night only occurrence. Every RAW from here on out will be "RAW Is People Power," and it will all be without CM Punk. Laurinaitis then made one final statement towards the former WWE Champion. "And Punk, just so you know. Your time is up, and my time is now. Take that for what it's worth." Laurinaitis, Barrett, Eve, and Evan Bourne all made their way up the entrance ramp, leaving behind Christian, Tensai, and Slater as they are in action next.
- Cutting backstage, John Cena was shown watching a TV monitor, puzzled at the hint that John Laurinaitis just dropped. When he turned around, he was met by United States Champion Zack Ryder, Kofi Kingston, and David Otunga. "Bro, I've stood beside you this whole time. But I can't pretend that I'm not worried anymore," said Ryder. Cena assured him that there's nothing to worry about. He is not going to screw them and Punk over at Extreme Rules. "You all believe me, right?" asked Cena. After a few seconds of silence, the three of them all left. Cena pushed the TV monitor over in anger, knowing that Laurinaitis has successfully manipulated the state of mind for CM Punk and his teammates.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning to RAW Is People Power, Christian, Tensai, and Heath Slater were all shown still in the ring, not leaving after the celebration of Wade Barrett's WWE Championship victory. United States Champion Zack Ryder, Kofi Kingston, and David Otunga were all out next, still a bit uneven after their encounter with John Cena just now.
- CHRISTIAN, TENSAI, AND HEATH SLATER DEF. UNITED STATES CHAMPION ZACK RYDER, KOFI KINGSTON, AND DAVID OTUNGA: A solid six man tag bout to kick of RAW Is People Power, with momentum for War Games On Sunday on the line. In the end, Christian was able to plant Otunga with the Killswitch to get the victory.
- The Detroit audience booed as People Power all headed to the ringside area, Christian and Slater raising one another's arms. Tensai stood aside them, not looking to be in a celebratory mood. The three of them headed back up the entrance ramp, picking up a huge amount of momentum for War Games on Sunday.
- Backstage, a wheel with match listings was shown as Dolph Ziggler and Rob Van Dam stood beside it. John Laurinaitis then appeared, saying that he's been a rather busy man as of late. "With so much going on, I haven't had the time to decide a stipulation for your match on Sunday at Extreme Rules. So I'll let the RAW Roulette wheel choose for me!" Laurinaitis then spun the wheel as it eventually landed on a Tables Match. Ziggler was irate, saying that he shouldn't be forced to compete in such a barbaric match. RVD told Ziggler to stop his whining, because Sunday is about going to the extreme. "And if anyone knows what it's like to take things to the extreme, it's Rob Van Dam!" Ziggler took his Money In The Bank briefcase and stormed out of the room, Laurinaitis eventually telling Van Dam to do the same.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning from the commercial break, R-Truth was shown backstage wheeling himself around, alongside him was a man in a suit. "Take that, world! I got me a lawyer! And I'm taking every single penny and nickel that Mick Foley's got to his name now! Which may not be a lot, but it's something!" Truth asked the lawyer when their court date was? "Oh, I'm not actually a lawyer. I've just always wanted to be on Monday Night RAW, especially here in Detroit!" The audience gave the man a small pop as Truth stared at him with his crazy eyes. He gave the man his cane, telling him to hold it. "Security! This man snuck into the arena! And he stole my cane!" The man tried to reason with security, but was escorted out of the arena. "Why can't I find a lawyer!?!" shouted a furious Truth.
- TAG TEAM TURMOIL QUALIFIER - SANTINO MARELLA AND DERRICK BATEMAN DEF. CURT HAWKINS AND TYLER REKS: For the duo of Hawkins and Reks, a victory here was a necessity after weeks of failure on NXT. This match was also the in-ring debut for the team of Santino Marella and Derrick Bateman, who the audience took quite a liking to. After Reks was tossed out of the ring, Hawkins was hit with a few jabs from Santino and Bateman, almost as if he were a pinball. Santino then pulled out his Cobra, while Bateman pulled out the "AmeriCobra." Hawkins was hit with both Cobras simultaneously, allowing Santino to cover him to get the victory.
- The crowd popped as Santino and Bateman celebrated their victory, a banner appearing on the screen to announce their qualification for the Tag Team Turmoil match. Despite being new, the duo certainly displayed great chemistry tonight. Chemistry that could potentially take them to the WWE Tag Team Championships Sunday at Extreme Rules.
- Backstage, People Power were shown in the office of John Laurinaitis, everyone giving Bourne a pep talk before he meets John Cena next. Laurinaitis then walked into the office with a box, saying that his special shipment arrived. He opened the box and pulled out a few items. "People Power shirts, People Power hats, and People Power wrist bands," said Laurinaitis as he said that Cena is going to love the new gear next week. Bourne took one of each for himself, putting them on before heading out as he meets Cena for the first time ever, next.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- A promo was shown for this Friday's edition of SmackDown. Just 48 hours before he endures 30 minutes against Chris Jericho, World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan goes one on one with Cody Rhodes. Friday Night SmackDown, this Friday on SyFy.
- JOHN CENA DEF. EVAN BOURNE: An incredible bout to round out the first hour here on RAW. With People Power picking up the victory in the opening contest, Cena was looking to gather some momentum for Team Punk heading into War Games on Sunday. As Bourne was going for a Hurricarana, Cena was able to prevent it and lift him into Attitude Adjustment position, hitting it to get the victory.
- Cena stood to his feet as he raised his arms in victory. We then saw John Laurinaitis in his office, smiling despite a member of his own team taking a loss just now. We then saw United States Champion Zack Ryder in his locker room when Kofi Kingston approached him. "Do you trust Cena?" asked Kofi. Ryder said that he really wants to, but it's a bit hard to when Laurinaitis is celebrating his victories. Kofi nodded his head in agreement with Ryder as it looks like Team Punk is now completely against Cena.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning to RAW Is People Power, a vignette was shown with shots of a forest were shown. A large man with a Hawaiian shirt and a straw hat was walking around, talking in a very mysterious and eerie manner. "Time is too precious to waste. In time, everyone will understand who I am. In time, the world will see what I am. Because I've been told that I'm barely human. And maybe they're right! Maybe I'm a monster. Maybe I'm a ghost! Boo! But the world will soon see for themselves and they can be the judges. Because they will all remember exactly what was going through their mind the first second they laid their eyes on me. Tiiiiime is on my side..." The video then faded to black as the man could be heard laughing maniacally.
- Cutting back to the arena, Maxine was shown already in the ring as we are set to begin the Semi-Finals of the Divas Championship tournament.
- DIVAS CHAMPIONSHIP SEMI FINALS - LAYLA DEF. MAXINE: A decent bout here to kick things off for the Semi-Finals. With a spot in the Finals this Sunday at Extreme Rules on the line, both Divas gave it their all, but it was Layla who secured the victory after hitting Maxine with the Layout.
- Layla celebrated her victory as a banner appeared on the screen to announce her advancement in the tournament. The updated brackets were shown, placing her in the Finals. This Friday on SmackDown, we find out the other Diva who will join Layla as Eve and Natalya meet in the other Semi-Finals match.
- A graphic was shown for CM Punk's "Going away party," to be held by RAW General Manager John Laurinaitis, later on tonight on RAW Is People Power.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- A promo was shown for this Wednesday's edition of WWE NXT, advertising a 10-man Battle Royal, featuring Seth Rollins, Kassius Ohno, Damien Sandow, Alex Riley, and many more. Plus, the debut of a new superstar, Bo Rotundo. NXT, this Wednesday on ION Television.
- ROB VAN DAM AND BRODUS CLAY DEF. DOLPH ZIGGLER AND ALBERTO DEL RIO: A solid tag team bout here, combining two of the matches in store for us Sunday at Extreme Rules. As Ziggler was going for the tag, Del Rio hopped off of the ring apron and left up the entrance ramp with Ricardo. As Ziggler was shouting at Del Rio, he turned around and was hit with What The Funk from Brodus. He made the tag to Van Dam, who hit a Five Star Frog Splash to get the victory.
- The audience popped as Van Dam and Brodus raised one another's arms in victory. Del Rio watched from the stage, staring on at the man who he will be tied to with a leather strap on Sunday. Van Dam once again posed over Ziggler, ready to meet him in a Tables Match at Extreme Rules.
- At this time, Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler quickly ran down the card for Extreme Rules on Sunday. On the YouTube pre-show, David Otunga and Heath Slater meet one on one, with the numbers advantage in the War Games match on the line. As we learned earlier, Layla will be one of the two Divas in the finals of the tournament for the vacant Championship. We still have yet to find out if it is Eve or Natalya who she will face on Sunday. A Tables Match is set for Mr. Money In The Bank Dolph Ziggler and a former briefcase holder himself, Rob Van Dam. In a Strap Match, Alberto Del Rio looks to tackle the undefeated Funkasaurus, Brodus Clay. WWE Tag Team Champions Ted DiBiase and Michael McGillicutty have their toughest challenge to date as they defend the gold in a Tag Team Turmoil match. We still have no clue exactly what a Swiss Rules match is, other than the fact that Intercontinental Champion Antonio Cesaro will defend his title against Sheamus in that match. A personal feud will see its end on Sunday as Randy Orton battles Dean Ambrose in a Last Man Standing match. For the World Heavyweight Championship, Daniel Bryan and Chris Jericho meet in a 30-minute Iron Man match. And finally, it is the return of War Games. WWE Champion Wade Barrett, Evan Bourne, Christian, and Tensai battle CM Punk, United States Champion Zack Ryder, Kofi Kingston, and John Cena. If Team People Power wins, CM Punk's career is over. But if Team Punk wins, John Laurinaitis' days in charge are over. Extreme Rules is live this Sunday from Chicago, only on pay-per-view.
- Cutting backstage, John Laurinaitis was shown making his way down to the ring. CM Punk's going away party is next on RAW Is People Power.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- A promo was shown for WWE Extreme Rules, live this Sunday, only on pay-per-view.
- Returning to RAW Is People Power, the theme of John Laurinaitis hit as he made his way down to the ring, potentially for the final time on Monday nights. He grabbed a microphone, telling everyone that he had a full, elaborate speech for CM Punk, but decided to change things up a bit. Laurinaitis then sat with his legs crossed, saying that he's going to send CM Punk off the only way he can, and that's with a "pipebomb" of his own. He said that he never wanted to get involved in the affairs of WWE superstars. He was happy sitting in an office and letting people know that their dreams have been shattered. Then, Punk decided to call him out during his little promo last year. And after that, Mr. McMahon was relieved of his duties and Triple H took over the day to day operations. "I never liked the idea of working under Hunter because I am a far superior businessman than he is. Then, my prayers were answered and Hunter lost control of everything. RAW needed a hero to save it, and that hero was me. I became the RAW General Manager, and I never planned on using my authority to benefit the downfall of certain superstars, but the amount of disrespect that the locker room showed me left me with no other choice. CM Punk and John Cena were my two main targets because they defied me one too many times. Evan Bourne almost suffered the same fate, but he managed to come to his senses. Punk chose not to join People Power, and look what happened to him. He's no longer the WWE Champion, and after Sunday, will no longer be a WWE superstar. As for Cena....I think I've said enough now. So I'll let your WWE Champion and the face of Monday Night RAW take over." Wade Barrett marched down to the ring, Laurinaitis handing him the microphone as the General Manager headed to the backstage area.
- The audience booed Barrett as he said that they better get used to this site. Him as the WWE Champion, and no CM Punk around. "And it's a shame that Punk decided not to show up for his own going away party. And why? Is it because he's a sore loser? Punk can't look me in the face, knowing that I claimed his WWE Championship and there is no rematch for him? I thought the 'best in the world' would have more respect than that. But I guess I was...." Barrett was cut off by CM Punk's theme as the audience erupted. The former WWE Champion marched down to the ring, also possibly for the final time. He met Barrett face to face before grabbing a microphone. "I'm not WWE Champion anymore, and John Cena's going to screw me out of what I have left. But if I'm going down on Sunday, I'm going down swinging." Punk then hit Barrett in the forehead with the microphone, the WWE Champion falling to the mat as Punk continued to strike him repeatedly. When Punk got to his feet and turned around, he was hit with a Spear from Christian. Captain Charisma was gearing for another one, but Kofi Kingston hit the ring. Christian missed a shot and was caught with Trouble In Paradise. As Kofi was doing his Boom taunt, Evan Bourne ran down to the ring and hit him with a Springboard Crossbody, followed by a Shining Wizard. As Bourne was trying to help Barrett to his feet, United States Champion Zack Ryder hit the scene and delivered a Rough Ryder. Ryder continued to strike Bourne on the mat until Tensai made the save, grabbing Ryder and locking in the Claw hold. Ryder faded away as Tensai let out a shout into the air. Tensai was turned around by John Cena, who delivered multiple shots to him. Cena then clotheslined the People Power Henchman over the top rope as Barrett could be seen behind him with the WWE Championship. Cena managed to duck the shot and lifted Barrett into position for the Attitude Adjustment. Cena successfully planted the WWE Champion with it, standing tall in the ring over the carnage. Suddenly, Cena turned around and was hit with a GTS from CM Punk! Punk stood tall over Cena as cameras examined the carnage both in and around the ring. John Laurinaitis then made his way out to the stage, staring at Punk. He did Cena's "You can't see me" taunt, once again playing the role of the master manipulator for Team Punk. After War Games is said and done, who will be forced to leave the WWE? And where does John Cena's allegiance lie?

I’ve been avidly following your diary---albeit not reviewing enough anywhoo. I love what you’ve done with the People Power stable. I love Barrett winning the title in England rather than WrestleMania, I like what you’re doing with Cena from the controversy of the Rock match to his team not trusting come ER. The heel turn of Evan Bourne has been done wonderfully, making him look like a credible is pretty challenging…and then there’s Heath Slater.
On Smackdown!: Jericho-Bryan has been an entertaining fued, the emphasis on the tag team and divas division have also been good, they aren’t as overlooked or irrelevant anymore. Then there’s the awesome Dean Ambrose/Orton which is a great “first major fued” for Ambrose and hopefully Orton turns heel at some point.
Anyway on the reviewing People’s Power RAW: Loved the opening promo, People’s Power basically running stuff on RAW right now. I like the tensions you’ve created between Cena and Team Punk. The heel going over in the 6-man is good—People’s Power stable going over in a people’s Power show makes total sense. Zigger-RVD in tables match should be good. Bateman/Santino seem like one goofy ass team but you made it work---hopefully they don’t win the turmoil. They seem like a good tag team to use but not have rule the division. Reks/Hawkins deserve better though. Cena-Bourne was good, more dissention with Team Punk and Cena. Still keeps me guessing how that’ll all play out Bray Wyatt promo perhaps? Layla winning was the right move, Maxine is nowhere near a Diva’s title opportunity. Good tag team match, Del Rio ditching Ziggler is good, but can’t help but feel Ziggler (MITB holder) loses a lot of momentum—especially if he loses at ER. ER looks pretty good with War Games, the match stips. And HEATH SLATER on Pre-Show. Yeah baby! The last promo was good if not an organized little finisher fest. Really keep me interested to see what’s going to happen at War Games. Overall a good go-home show to ER that did it’s job.

There's so much to say, but why is Paige stuck on NXT with Seth? Is there no place for them on a major show?

RAW is People Power:
- Okay, so before I get to the actual show, and because I didn't reply to last weeks RAW, I have to say I found Wade Barrett winning the WWE Championship very underwhelming. I get that you'd get a really good pop for Barrett winning the title in the UK, but I just felt like the title win was a complete throwaway and meant next to nothing after he failed to pick it up at WrestleMania. If you want me to care properly about the title victory it should have happened at Mania or at a future pay per view, because the main event of RAW didn't have that big match feel to it for me. - I do like this stable that Laurinaitis has going for him, and the opening segment was a solid way of kicking off what I expect to be his final show as general manager. I liked the little tease of a potential John Cena turn, in fact I really like the Cena angle as a whole which isn't something I'd usually say. I don't see a turn on the cards though. I will say that I'd have much preferred to have seen David Otunga in place of Zack Ryder, his turn on Laurinaitis could have been big for him and he's still just in the background. - Solid win for the heels, makes sense for them to go over to put over the strength of their team since Punk and Cena on a team really doesn't need the boost. - Don't see the point of the roulette wheel, it's people power, there should have been a vote. - Funny little R-Truth skit, he was always comedy gold as a heel. - Santino and Bateman seem like a bizarre team just thrown together because you had nothing for them, but hell I do like Bateman getting screen time. - Solid win for Cena here, it was pretty obvious he was going over to build the whole distrust angle. I am truly loving the push that Bourne is getting as well, I'd love to see him win the title off of Ryder soon. - Bray Wyatt for the win. - Solid victory for Layla, I was expecting it to be her against Eve in the finals and I'm still expecting that to be the result. - Decent enough tag match to build their matches at Extreme Rules I guess, I'm still not entirely sold on Van Dam being back. I don't know whether it's a timing thing or if it's the way you've been handling him, but I just can't settle on it. - A good old fashioned everyone brawls ending for the go home edition of RAW. There's not a lot to say about the segment, it ticked all the right boxes and built up the big match which has that big match feeling that last weeks WWE Championship match lacked. - A decent show, a few things I disagreed with but things seem to be rolling along pretty well. Keep it up, looking forward to Extreme Rules.

| WWE NXT | April 25th, 2012 | Winter Park, FL |
- After the intro video package, the red hot Full Sail University audience was shown as William Regal and Byron Saxton welcomed everyone to NXT. Last week, Interim General Manager Dusty Rhodes stated that he has a major announcement on May 1st, and that he's going to keep a close eye on the talent to see who "steps up." Tonight, 10 of NXT's top superstars will be given that opportunity in a Battle Royal. Plus, Divas action as we will see Sofia Cortez take on the debuting Audrey Marie.
- Regal and Byron then segued into a video package for a new face on the NXT roster, Bo Rotundo. Bo was introduced as a third generation star, his grandfather being Blackjack Mulligan, and his father being Irwin R. Schyster. While he's very soft spoken, he certainly make quite the noise in the ring and isn't afraid to step up to the plate.
- BO ROTUNDO DEF. RICK VICTOR: A decent opening bout to NXT. The Full Sail University audience took a liking to Bo fast, quickly getting behind the third generation star. As Victor had Bo in a head lock, he was able to find the strength to ram him back-first into the corner. Victor released Bo as he ran the ropes, taking him down with a Spear to get the victory.
- The crowd popped a Bo stood to his feet, raising his arms in victory as he was ecstatic about his victory. Bo made his way up the entrance ramp, making his mark on NXT.
- A graphic was shown for the match between Sofia Cortez and Audrey Marie, coming up next.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning to NXT, Bo Rotundo was shown walking backstage, being congratulated by several members of the roster on a successful debut. He was then approached by Interim General Manager Dusty Rhodes, who told him that he was very impressed with what he saw. After Bo thanked him, Dusty asked if he would be willing to keep his boots on. Because he was so impressed that he wants him to be a part of tonight's 10 man Battle Royal. Bo happily accepted Dusty's offer, saying that he won't let him down tonight.
- SOFIA CORTEZ DEF. AUDREY MARIE: A rather solid Divas bout here on NXT as the Full Sail University crowd seemed to be split among Sofia and Audrey. Halfway through the match, cameras cut backstage as we saw a pale woman with jet black hair sitting on a staircase, watching the match from a TV monitor. After kicking out of a roll up, Sofia caught Audrey with a Wheelbarrow DDT to get the win.
- Following the match, Sofia assisted Audrey to her feet and raised her arm in a show of respect among the two Divas. The mysterious woman backstage was shown watching with a look of disgust on her face, getting up and leaving up the staircase.
- Backstage, Seth Rollins was shown in his locker room getting ready for tonight's 10 man Battle Royal, later on on NXT.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- At this time, the RAW Rebound was shown. Dubbed "RAW Is People Power," John Laurinaitis, new WWE Champion Wade Barrett, and the rest of team People Power ruled the night with two celebrations. One for Wade's WWE Championship victory, and a going away party for CM Punk. Punk would get involved in his departure celebration, stating that he does believe Extreme Rules will be his final night. But he isn't going down without a fight. He then attacked Barrett, leading to the rest of his team and People Power's team getting involved. The brawl ended with Punk delivering a GTS to his own teammate, John Cena. Laurinaitis appeared on the stage, continuing to play the role of the master manipulator by doing Cena's "You can't see me" taunt, directing it at Punk.
- THE ASCENSION DEF. JIRO AND SAKAMOTO: A simple victory for the eerie duo of Conor O'Brien and Kenneth Cameron here. The victory for them came after hitting Jiro with the Downcast.
- Backstage, Briley Pierce was standing by with Damien Sandow. He asked the Intellectual Savior for his thoughts on the upcoming Battle Royal? "Such a fitting name for a man of my caliber. Royal. It is meant for me to grasp this victory in the palm of my hands and further amplify myself here on NXT, which I factually stated is my land. The land that the other nine combatants will step into, only to be exiled as they witness Damien Sandow stand tall triumphantly. You're welcome."
- After Sandow left the interview set, the theme of Alex Riley hit as he made his way out to a great ovation from Full Sail University. After he was settled in the ring, JTG made his way out as we cut to a commercial break, returning with the 10 man Battle Royal!
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- A promo was shown for WWE Extreme Rules, live this Sunday, only on pay per view.
- 10-MAN BATTLE ROYAL - KASSIUS OHNO LAST ELIMINATED DAMIEN SANDOW: A very good Battle Royal to close out NXT, with a lot riding on the line as this was the last opportunity for the superstars to impress Dusty Rhodes before he makes his major announcement next week. First eliminated was Jake Carter after a dropkick from Bo Rotundo. He then grabbed Bo's leg, catching his attention for a bit. This allowed Corey Graves to sneak up behind Bo and toss him out. Carter made his way back up the entrance, smiling at Bo as he knew that he had returned the favor for eliminating him. Next eliminated was Richie Steamboat after being tossed out with an overhead slam from Mason Ryan. As the Welsh Mammoth was looking to do the same to Seth Rollins, Alex Riley and Kassius Ohno all went after him, the three faces all uniting to eliminate Mason. As JTG and Riley were battling on the ring apron, Rollins delivered a Superkick to JTG, eliminating the self proclaimed "Mr. NXT." Riley remained on the ring apron as he and Rollins traded blows. Sandow charged towards Rollins, who ducked as the Intellectual Savior struck Riley and sent him crashing to the floor. The final four each took a corner as Rollins, Ohno, Graves, and Sandow all stared at each other. Rollins went after Graves while Ohno and Sandow did battle. Rollins scored another elimination for himself after send Graves over the top rope. Rollins stood on the second turnbuckle as he repeatedly struck Ohno. Sandow came behind Rollins, pushing him off and sending him to the floor. The audience booed as Rollins looked to be Full Sail University's favorite to win. Ohno stirred to his feet using the ropes as Sandow stalked him from behind. He charged at Ohno, but he moved out of the way and caught Sandow with the KO Elbow, sending him over the top rope to get the victory.
- The audience popped as Kassius Ohno was announced as the victor, striking the air with his elbow as he let out a shout. Every elimination was shown on replay before cutting back to Full Sail University, where the audience chanted "Ohno" in unison, the world-renowned star standing tall to bring NXT to a close.

Replying to Raw cos I don't really follow NXT that much <3 Lovely way to open up the show with John Laurinaitis and his cronies. I like that he's stirring the pot between CM Punk and John Cena, but I can't see there being anything serious to it, and I see Cena proving his worth and being the man who wins the match at Extreme Rules. It's reminding me a bit of Survivor Series 2004 with Team Austin and Team Bischoff, and John Cena is the Shawn Michaels of Team Punk. That is why I see Cena being the last guy, but unlike '04, the face team will win and send Laurinaitis packing. Great Six-Man Tag Team Match, but I cannot buy David Otunga as a babyface, so glad he took the fall. A Tables Match is a nice choice for Ziggler and RVD. I think this Santino Marella and Derrick Bateman pairing is goofier than Santino's real-life teaming with Zack Ryder, not sure I like it, but whatever. Good to see John Cena with a victory here, and Laurinaitis continues the mind games. OHAI BRAY WYATT. Layla versus Eve-- I'm calling it. Interesting final match of the night with the babyfaces going over, but necessary since I believe the heels will take the singles victories at Extreme Rules. "The audience booed Barrett as he said that they better get used to this site"-- it's *sight, damnit. Just more mind games to close the show, but like I said at the start, I feel Cena will prove his loyalty and win the match at Extreme Rules. A well-booked show.

| Friday Night SmackDown! | April 27th, 2012 | Grand Rapids, MI |

WWE Superstars 4/26 Taping Results Johnny Curtis def. Percy Watson WWE Tag Team Champions Ted DiBiase and Michael McGillicutty def. The Usos - Following the intro and pyro display, cameras scanned over the audience here in Grand Rapids as Michael Cole, Josh Mathews, and Booker T welcomed everyone to Friday Night SmackDown as we are just a mere 48 hours away from the one night of the year where every match goes to the "Extreme." But before we get to Extreme Rules on Sunday, World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan competes against Cody Rhodes as he prepares to endure 30 minutes in the ring with the man he defeated for the title back at WrestleMania, Chris Jericho. Plus, the second of the two semi-finals matches in the Divas Championship tournament as Eve and Natalya do battle, the winner advancing on to meet Layla in the Finals on Sunday. And after weeks of anticipation, Ryback will make his debut. All that and much more tonight on the final stop before Extreme Rules in Chicago.
- The theme of Chris Jericho hit as the former World Heavyweight Champion made his way out to a very heated response from the WWE Universe. A graphic was shown for the 30-minute Iron Man match at Extreme Rules in two nights against the World Heavyweight Champion, Daniel Bryan. Jericho grabbed a microphone, saying that on Sunday, the fairy tale of Daniel Bryan will come to an end. And there won't be a happy ending. This story does not end with the king and queen, Daniel and AJ, standing tall and riding off into the sunset. It ends with the king reclaiming his throne as the best in the world at what he does once again becomes World Heavyweight Champion. "But that's on Sunday. Tonight, Daniel has Cody Rhodes to deal with. And after the beating handed to him by Wade Barrett last week, I'm not expecting much of a performance from your fluke of a champion. So to prove my superiority before the Iron Man match, I am issuing an open challenge." A few seconds later, Jericho regretted issuing the challenge as the Big Show made his way out to the stage. Show, who we haven't seen since WrestleMania, said that he initially came here tonight to confront Kane face to face. But he was just informed that no one has seen or heard from the Big Red Monster this evening. "So I was ready to call it a night and head back home, and then I heard a certain former partner of mines issued an open challenge." Jericho shook his head, telling Show that the challenge was closed. Show stepped into the ring as Jericho went after him, trying to ground Show and attempt to escape. The World's Largest Athlete was able to grasp Jericho's throat, sending him over the top rope and onto the floor. Jericho backed up against the announce table as a referee entered the scene, ready to make this match official.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- CHRIS JERICHO DEF. BIG SHOW: A decent opening bout between the former Unified Tag Team Champions. As Show was attempting a Chokeslam, Jericho countered it into the Codebreaker, getting the cover to take the victory.
- Jericho rolled out of the ring as the official raised his arm in victory. The No.1 contender for the World Heavyweight Title made his way up the entrance ramp, all smiles as he will be walking into Extreme Rules and the Iron Man match with a bit of momentum on his side.
- Backstage, Matt Striker was standing by with Cody Rhodes. He asked Cody for his thoughts on his match tonight against World Heavyweight Champion, Daniel Bryan? Cody said that this is more than just a match. This is the opportunity for him to finally prove to the non-believers that he is telling the truth when he says that he's the future of the WWE. He's not ashamed to admit that 2012 hasn't been his year. At Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber, he failed to become World Heavyweight Champion. And at WrestleMania, he couldn't even retrieve the Money In The Bank briefcase. But tonight is a different story. The world sees Daniel Bryan as some sort of hero, and their champion. But after tonight, they will all see why Bryan is nothing special, and why he is everything that the WWE Universe should be looking for in their World Heavyweight Champion.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning to SmackDown, the updated brackets for the Divas Championship tournament were shown as we have reached the last Semi-Finals match. After this upcoming match, we will know the two Divas who compete in a Lumberjill Match on Sunday for the vacant championship.
- DIVAS CHAMPIONSHIP SEMI-FINALS - EVE DEF. NATALYA: A very solid Divas bout here with so much riding on the line. Neither would accept defeat, but one would be forced to. It ended up being Natalya after Eve was able to score a roll up with her feet on the ropes, stealing the victory.
- Eve quickly rolled out of the ring as she was all smiles, knowing she would be advancing to the Finals of the tournament. Natalya had a different expression on her face, one of anger and disappointment. The updated brackets were shown as the Finals is now set. At Extreme Rules, Eve and Layla go one on one for the vacant Divas Championship.
- A graphic was shown for tonight's main event. World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan against Cody Rhodes, later on tonight on SmackDown.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning from the commercial break, Drew McIntyre was shown in his locker room warming up as he prepares to meet Sheamus later on tonight. AW soon walked into the room, introducing himself to Drew. He said that since he announced last week that All World Promotions was looking for some new clients, his phone has been blowing up nonstop. "But you see, Drew. Those superstars are coming to me. I've noticed you enough to come to you." AW said that McIntyre has a lot to offer All World Promotions, and would absolutely love to have him on board. "Think about it," said AW as he handed his business card to McIntyre.
- Cutting back to the arena, the bell sounded as a local talent named Barry Stevens was shown in the ring. Wrong place, wrong time for him as he would be going up against a debuting force to be reckoned with.
- RYBACK DEF. BARRY STEVENS: An absolutely dominant performance from the debuting Ryback. After a vicious clothesline, Ryback shouted "Finish him!" as he lifted Barry up onto his shoulders, planting him with a horizontal Muscle Buster to get the victory.
- Ryback stood to his feet as the audience popped for the dominant new superstar. He repeatedly shouted "Feed me more!" demanding more fresh meat after his impressive debut here on SmackDown.
- Backstage, cameras showed a stopwatch in someone's hands, reaching ten seconds before it was stopped. The stopwatch was restarted as the camera panned out to show Dean Ambrose sitting near a staircase. After reaching ten once again, Ambrose stopped the stopwatch as he stood up and headed for the ring.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- At this time, the RAW rebound was shown. Focusing on the events throughout the night with the People Power unit, a huge brawl broke out at the end of the show between all eight participants in the War Games match at Extreme Rules. For a moment, it looked like John Cena would be the lone man standing tall, but was hit with a GTS from CM Punk, his own team captain. After more mind games from John Laurinaitis, which era will come to an end on Sunday? The People Power Era, or the Era of Punk?
- Returning to the arena, the theme of Dean Ambrose hit as he made his way out to the stage. The psychotic superstar stated that last week was a prelude to the Last Man Standing match on Sunday. And it just so happens that the prelude shares the same conclusion as the full story. He's left standing on his own two feet, while the world's precious Viper is unconscious, unresponsive, and un-fulfilling as a hero to the WWE Universe. "Because heroes can't win all the time. And this Sunday is one battle that Randy Orton will not be walking out of victorious. Hell, he won't be walking out of it in general." Ambrose said that just like last week, Orton will be left for dead in the center of the ring as the official counts to ten and thus counts away the career of the Viper. "And I'm not looking to devenomize the Viper, I'm biting the damn head off. And I'm going to chew, and chew, and chew until Orton's brains are in millions of pieces. Then I'm going to spit them into the faces of the millions who buy into his crap! I can say with honesty that I am not a man of my word, but Sunday is an exception. I'm not only guaranteeing that I will be the "Last Man Standing," but I'm also guaranteeing that the execution of Randy Orton will take place in the middle of that ring in Chicago." As Ambrose was finishing up, he was turned around by Randy Orton, who planted him with an RKO onto the stage! Orton picked up the stopwatch, starting it as the camera showed it reaching ten. Orton stopped the stopwatch and placed it on Ambrose's chest, standing tall and posing as the audience went wild for the Viper.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning to SmackDown, a recap of the previous segment was shown as Randy Orton managed to get the upperhand over Dean Ambrose, surprising his opponent on Sunday with an RKO on the stage.
- Returning to the arena, Drew McIntyre was shown in the ring as Michael Cole welcomed Intercontinental Champion Antonio Cesaro to the announce table as he will be getting a closer look at the man he defeated for the gold two weeks ago, and has a title defense scheduled for Sunday.
- SHEAMUS DEF. DREW MCINTYRE: A good bout here between two men who had a lot on their mind. For McIntyre, AW's offer earlier tonight was his motivation for success here. For Sheamus, a chance at gaining some momentum with Antonio Cesaro watching from a few feet away was on the line. The Great White prevailed after hitting McIntyre with a Brogue Kick, covering him to seal the victory.
- The audience popped as Sheamus stood to his feet, raising his arms in victory. Antonio Cesaro stood up from his chair as the Intercontinental Champion headed for the back. Sheamus grabbed a microphone, asking Cesaro where he was going? "I think myself and the rest of the world deserve a bit of information. Just what the hell is a Swiss Rules match? Are we just going to stand around like a bunch of idiots and proclaim neutrality?" Cesaro told Sheamus that first, he needs to be told that he should never pursue comedy. Secondly, a Swiss Rules match is something that he won't go into detail on tonight. "What I will say is that only the strongest survive. This match will show who the true warrior is, and I guarantee that you're not prepared for it, Sheamus. Nobody in the world can endure a brutal match of its nature, except for me, of course. And third, all you need to know is that you stand no chance. After Sunday, you will still know me as your Intercontinental Champion."
- Cutting backstage, Alicia Fox was shown in the Divas locker room packing her bags when one of the lockers opened, Johnny Curtis peaking his head out and handing her a note. "Give this to Kaitlyn, please? Thanks, Foxy." Curtis closed the locker as he remained inside, Alicia baffled.
- A graphic was shown for tonight's main event. 48 hours before his 30 minute Iron Man match against Chris Jericho, World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan meets Cody Rhodes one on one, on SmackDown.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning to SmackDown, World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan was shown in his locker room with AJ, who asked if he's sure he'll be able to compete tonight and last 30 minutes against Jericho on Sunday? Bryan said that he's wrestled for hours before, he's sure he'll be fine. "AJ, I'm not trying to offend you, but sometimes you ask stupid questions." Bryan picked up the World Heavyweight Title and made his way out of the room, AJ and the audience a bit shocked at the uncharacteristic words of the champion.
- PRIME TIME PLAYERS DEF. JUSTIN GABRIEL AND TYSON KIDD, AND PRIMO AND EPICO: Two nights before the WWE Tag Team Championships are up for grabs in a Tag Team Turmoil match, three of the teams competing in the match went at it in a Triple Threat match. The champions Ted DiBiase and Michael McGillicutty watched from the stage, getting a closer look at three of their five challengers for Sunday. After Darren Young delivered a Gutbuster to Epico, the Prime Time Players managed to pick up the win.
- The audience booed as Young and O'Neil celebrated their victory, dancing to their own tune of "Millions of dollars!" They motioned for the Team Team Championships, DiBiase and McGillicutty brushing them off as they headed to the back.
- At this time, the commentary unit quickly ran down the card for Extreme Rules on Sunday. On the YouTube pre-show, David Otunga and Heath Slater meet one on one, with the numbers advantage in the War Games match on the line. As we learned earlier, it will be Layla and Eve who battle in a Lumberjill match for the vacant Divas Championship.
- Backstage, Cody Rhodes was shown making his way down to the ring. He meets the World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan, next!
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- A promo was shown for Extreme Rules, live this Sunday on pay-per-view.
- WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION DANIEL BRYAN DEF. CODY RHODES VIA DQ: A fantastic bout to close out SmackDown and send us into Extreme Rules on Sunday. Rhodes looked very impressive, showing that he very well does deserve an opportunity at the World Heavyweight Championship. Bryan was able to rally back towards the end, getting fired up as he took Cody down with a huge missile dropkick. He locked Rhodes in the LeBell Lock, the former Intercontinental Champion looking to be on the verge of submission. Suddenly, Chris Jericho was shown running down to the ring. Unlike a few weeks back, Bryan noticed him and released his hold on Cody, taking Jericho down as the official called for the bell.
- The bell sounded as Bryan struck Jericho with multiple shots, though the former champion was able to turn it around and do the same. Bryan was able to dodge one of Jericho's shots and counter it into the LeBell Lock, but the hold wasn't fully applied as Jericho slid out of the ring. Bryan grabbed the World Heavyweight Championship and stood tall in the ring, Jericho backing up the entrance ramp as he said that Bryan would choke on Sunday.

YouTube Pre-Show Heath Slater def. David Otunga to give Team People Power the numbers advantage
After the signature WWE intro, a video package was shown that started off with a clip from CM Punk's "Pipebomb" last Summer in Las Vegas, specifically where he brought up the name John Laurinaitis. Following that incident, Laurinaitis made his way onto television, Punk taking his shots at him whenever the opportunity presented itself. After Triple H lost control of the WWE, Laurinaitis was named the General Manager of RAW. Clips of Laurinaitis' reign as GM thus far were shown, showing what the Executive Vice President of Talent Relations has done with his power. With such power, Laurinaitis has banded together a selective group of superstars who have shown their support for "People Power." Since the inception of People Power, three superstars have consistently been fighting the war against Laurinaitis. United States Champion Zack Ryder, Kofi Kingston, and CM Punk. However, a fourth superstar has been added to that list against their wishes, that being John Cena. Ever since taking a shocking route to victory over the Rock at WrestleMania, Cena's allegiance has been in question. Is he looking to prove his loyalty to the WWE Universe and the superstars, or is he looking to finalize a deal with the devil himself?
"I Come Alive" by The Used blasted over the PA system as a voiceover presented WWE Extreme Rules. A huge pyro display blasted as the red hot Chicago crowd was shown. The commentary unit of Michael Cole, Jerry "The King" Lawler, and Booker T welcomed everyone to the one night of the year where every match is taken to the "extreme." It's Extreme Rules! Cameras focused on the War Games structure that was hanging high above the ring, as that is where the landscape of the WWE will be changed forever. Either CM Punk or John Laurinaitis will be exiting their final show here in WWE once War Games is all set and done. Plus, the World Heavyweight Championship is on the line in a 30-Minute Iron Man match as Chris Jericho is looking to regain the gold from Daniel Bryan. But first, the Tag Team Championship will be decided as six teams vie for the gold in a Tag Team Turmoil match!
Tag Team Turmoil match for the WWE Tag Team Championships Ted DiBiase and Michael McGillicutty (c) vs. Justin Gabriel and Tyson Kidd vs. Prime Time Players vs. Primo and Epico vs. Santino Marella and Derrick Bateman vs. TBD | After Justin Roberts reviewed the rules of the match, Justin Gabriel and Tyson Kidd made their way out firs to a nice pop from the Chicago audience. Out next were Primo and Epico, who didn't receive such a warm response. The bell sounded as Gabriel and Primo started things off. Primo whipped Gabriel into the ropes, looking to his a dropkick on the rebound. That didn't work out as Gabriel held onto the ropes. Primo charged towards him and was thrown over the top rope and onto the floor. Gabriel got a bit of speed and delivered a suicide dive through the second rope. He tossed Primo back into the ring as Epico broke up the count. Tyson Kidd stepped into the ring as the official held him back, ordering Epico to get back in his as well. Gabriel made the tag to Kidd, who came in by delivering a springboard dropkick to Primo. He rolled towards his corner, tagging in his cousin. Epico charged towards Kidd, who ducked and delivered a kick to the mid section. Kidd went for a suplex, but Epico landed on his feet and hit a neckbreaker. Epico covered him to score a two count. He kept a rest hold on for a bit as Gabriel managed to get the audience to rally behind Kidd. He found the strength to fight out of it. Kidd rolled Epico over, leading to him charging. Kidd managed to counter Epico's clothesline and hit a brainbuster. He made the tag to Gabriel as Kidd delivered a running dropkick to Primo to make sure he could not get involved. Gabriel ascended up to the top turnbuckle, coming down with a 450 Splash to get the pinfall. | Gabriel got to his feet as he backed into a corner, waiting for the arrival of the next team. The theme song of the Prime Time Players hit as Darren Young and Titus O'Neil quickly ran down to the ring. Titus charged Gabriel into a corner, ramming his elbow into his rib area several times. He whipped Gabriel into the ropes, though he ducked Titus' clothesline and springboarded off the second rope, getting into position for an Inverted DDT. After planting Titus with it, Gabriel managed to score a two count. Gabriel made the tag to Kidd, who was hit with a huge boot from O'Neil right off the bat. He tagged in Darren Young, who stomped on Kidd for a bit. Young eventually had Kidd positioned on the turnbuckle, looking to hit a back suplex. Kidd retaliated with some hard elbows that sent Young to the mat. From the top turnbuckle, Kidd springboarded off the top rope, but missed his moonsault. Young capitalized by picking Kidd up to his shoulders, hitting the Gutbuster to advance on. | Young backed into his corner as he and O'Neil high-fived one another, quickly doing their "Millions of dollars!" taunt. The new team of Santino Marella and Derrick Bateman were out next to a nice response from the sold out crowd here in Chicago. Young went after Bateman, who dodged him and delivered a few quick jabs to the face. He whipped Young into a corner, delivering a running splash. Bateman looked to be on fire as he covered Young, but only got a two count. Bateman placed Young against the ropes, hitting a few knife edge chops. During an irish whip attempt, Young was able to hold on and counter it, delivering an Atomic Drop to Bateman, following that up with a back suplex. Young only scored a two count during the pinfall attempt. He made the tag to Titus, who missed an elbow drop as Bateman rolled out of the way. He quickly made the tag to Santino, who came in hot. After dodging a clothesline with a split, he took Titus down with an Arm Drag. He pulled out of the Cobra, gearing it up as he let out a shout. Titus managed to grab Santino's arm, preventing the Cobra from coming in contact with him. Titus lifted Santino up and planted him with the Clash of the Titus, covering him to move on. | The Chicago audience booed as Young and O'Neil quickly celebrated their second elimination in the match, now two teams away from becoming the new WWE Tag Team Champions. To the surprise of everyone, the theme of Rey Mysterio hit. Out came Mysterio and Sin Cara, who were revealed to be the unannounced team participating in this match. They ran into the ring, dodging clotheslines from the Prime Time Players and responded with dropkicks. On the outside, Young and O'Neil huddled up to talk strategy, but the luchardore team were eager to get going. Mysterio stood on his hands and knees as Sin Cara bounced off of his back, diving over the top rope and onto the Prime Time Players. He slid Young into the ring, who kicked him in the kneecap upon re-entering. After having the upperhand for a bit, Young went for the Gut Buster. Cara managed to counter it into a hurricarana that sent Young into the ropes. He quickly made the tag to Mysterio, following that up with a baseball slide to the legs of Titus O'Neil. Mysterio hit the 619 onto Young, following that up with a top rope Splash to get the pinfall. | The audience popped as Mysterio got to his feet, he and Sin Cara advancing on in the match. And now, only one team remained. Ted DiBiase and Michael McGillicutty made their way down to the ring, the defending champions having the luck of the draw. DiBiase started things off with Mysterio, keeping him grounded in a corner. After tossing Rey into the opposite corner, he charged at him as Mysterio got a foot up. He climbed up onto the second rope, coming down onto DiBiase with a Seated Senton. DiBiase managed to counter the pinning attempt into a Single Legged Boston Crab, bringing Mysterio closer to his corner to make the tag to McGillicutty. He stomped on Rey's upperback while the submission hold from Ted was still applied, the official getting involved to restore order. McGillicutty placed Mysterio on his right shoulder, walking towards Sin Cara to mock the duo before hitting a Running Powerslam. Mysterio managed to kick out of that. McGillicutty brought Rey back to his feet, hitting him with a few face shots. Mysterio managed to block one and began hitting shots of his own, even a few stiff forearms. McGillicutty managed to catch Rey's foot as he was attempting to kick him in the mid section, but he retaliated with an enziguri. Rey then jumped towards his corner, making the hot tag to Sin Cara. The Masked Sensation delivered a springboard crossbody to McGillicutty, nearly getting the three count. Cara hit a few quick kicks to the leg, but McGillicutty was able to push him away and towards the ropes. McGillicutty charged towards him, but Sin Cara lifted him over his head as he landed on the apron. Cara then dodged a shot from one half of the defending champions and caught him with a kick to the face. McGillicutty fell to the floor as Cara patiently waited for him to get back to his feet. He launched himself over the top rope, but McGillicutty moved out harm's way as Cara connected with nothing by concrete. McGillicutty rolled Cara back into the ring, though he was able to kick out of the pinning predicament. McGillicutty made the tag to DiBiase, he kicked Cara in the rib area as his arm was held up. DiBiase worked over Cara for a bit longer, allowing him to crawl towards Mysterio, only to drag him back into the center of the ring. At one point, that backfired on Ted as Cara kicked him away and made the quick tag to Mysterio. The Master of the 619. He ducked a few of DiBiase's clotheslines and springboarded from the second rope, catching him with a hurricarana and placing him position for the 619. Before Rey could make the run, McGillicutty pulled him down by his feet and tried to pull him to the outside. Mysterio held on to the ropes as McGillicutty struggled to pull him out. Sin Cara made his way over to that side of the ring apron, coming down onto McGillicutty with a Crossbody. Mysterio was able to attempt the 619, but DiBiase dodged it and rolled him up with his hand gripping the ropes, stealing the victory. | Ted DiBiase and Michael McGillicutty retain the WWE Tag Team Championships |
DiBiase rolled out of the ring as he went to help McGillicutty up. The duo were handed back their WWE Tag Team Championships as they raised them high in the air. Mysterio and Cara looked on in both disappointment and anger, knowing that this victory was stolen from them. Despite their tactics, DiBiase and McGillicutty will be leaving Chicago still the WWE Tag Team Champions.
Backstage, John Laurinaitis was shown in his office with Team People Power when Heath Slater walked in, fresh off of a victory on the YouTube Pre-Show that has given them the numbers advantage in War Games tonight. Laurinaitis hugged Slater, saying that he always knew this day would come. The day where Slater turned him into a believer. "I believe in the One Man Band now. Just like I believe that everything will go according to plan tonight. Eve will become the new Divas Champion, we will win War Games, and CM Punk will be out of my life. And, I've got a good feeling that John Cena will do the right thing tonight."
Returning to ringside, the commentators transitioned to the next match as a graphic was shown for the Swiss Rules match for the Intercontinental Championship. A few weeks back on SmackDown, a new superstar debuted by the name of Antonio Cesaro. He quickly got under the skin of the Intercontinental Champion Sheamus, resulting in a match later on that evening for the gold. Cesaro shocked the world by defeating Sheamus to become the Intercontinental Champion in his debut match. Cesaro claimed to be the polar opposite of Sheamus. A true, legitimate competitor, rather than a crude brawler. Sheamus would receive his rematch at Extreme Rules, but Cesaro was allowed to choose the stipulation. He announced that their rematch would be held under Swiss Rules, which we're still not sure what those rules exactly are.
Swiss Rules match for the Intercontinental Championship Antonio Cesaro (c) vs. Sheamus | After Antonio Cesaro made his entrance, he handed a piece of paper to Michael Cole, who stood up from his chair. "May I have your attention? I have received the rules for the Swiss Rules match, and Mr. Cesaro has suggested that I read them as this match progresses." Sheamus looked to be a bit annoyed at the fact that he would be oblivious to the rules right from the get go. The bell sounded as he the two locked up, matching one another's strength. Cesaro kneed Sheamus in the gut, pounding on his back with a few stiff shots. He kept Sheamus grounded for a bit with an Arm Bar, the Great White soon fighting out of it and sending Cesaro over the top rope. As Sheamus was going after him, Michael Cole stopped to read one of the rules. "When a competitor is thrown outside of the ring, they are allowed ten seconds to themselves to regroup and re-enter the ring." The official looked over one of the rules, confirming it to be legitimate. He kept Sheamus away as Cesaro was given the ten seconds to get back in the ring. As Sheamus went after him, Cesaro caught him with a heavy forearm, followed by a headbutt to the back of the head. Cesaro was quickly going for the Ricola Bomb, but Sheamus countered it into a back body drop. Cesaro swung his arm towards Sheamus' head, but the Great White countered it and hit the Irish Curse Backbreaker. As Sheamus got the cover, Michael Cole made another announcement. "Pinfalls are set at five counts." Sheamus stopped for a moment to listen to Cole, once again irritated by the sudden change of rules. He covered Cesaro again, but the defending Intercontinental Champion managed to kick out. Sheamus lifted Cesaro up for another Irish Curse, but had it countered into a DDT. He tried to clothesline Sheamus over the top rope, but the Great White held onto the ropes. Cesaro's shot was blocked as Sheamus caught him with a forearm. As Sheamus was going for a shoulder block over the top rope, Cesaro caught him by surprise with the Very European Uppercut. Sheamus fell to the floor as Cesaro obeyed the Swiss rules, allowing his opponent ten seconds to get back into the ring. Cesaro hit Sheamus with a forearm, the Great White retaliating with the same. The two traded forearms until Cesaro kicked Sheamus in the kneecap, taking advantage from there. After a lariat to the back of the head, Cesaro got the cover, Sheamus kicking out at three. Cesaro whipped Sheamus into a corner, charging at him as the Great White moved. He rammed Cesaro into the corner, repeatedly driving his arm into his rib area. Sheamus then positioned Cesaro on the rope turnbuckle as Michael Cole chimed in once again. "No maneuvers from the top rope are allowed." Angrily complying with the rules, Sheamus grabbed Cesaro's legs and pulled him down to the mat. Sheamus backed away as he began beating his chest, gearing up for the Brogue Kick. Cesaro dodged it as Sheamus got caught up in the ropes, the Intercontinental Champion hitting a an Uppercut. He got the cover, but Sheamus was able to kick out. Cesaro picked Sheamus back up, getting a grip on his arms and hitting him with a few headbutts. Sheamus retaliated with a headbutts of his own, eventually getting the upperhand. As Cesaro held his head, Sheamus caught him with a Brogue Kick! Right before he could the five count, Michael Cole announced one more rule. "Kicks to the face are prohibited. Antonio Cesaro will be allowed to get to his feet before the match can resume." Sheamus went to ringside, getting in Cole's face. Cole tried to show the paper to Sheamus, telling him that it was a legitimate rules. Sheamus ripped up the paper, throwing the remains in Cole's face. After Sheamus slid back into the ring, Cesaro hit him in the gut with the top of his head, lifting him up and successfully hitting the Ricola Bomb. Cesaro covered Sheamus, getting the five count to get the victory. | Antonio Cesaro retains the Intercontinental Championship |
Cesaro stood to his feet, raising his arms in victory as he was handed the Intercontinental Championship. The Swiss Sensation manages to hold on to the gold, but it's obvious that Sheamus should be the champion had it not been for the "rules" implemented in the match. After Sheamus was back on his feet, he went to ringside and delivered a Brogue Kick to Michael Cole! The audience erupted as Cole was out, Sheamus leaving up the entrance ramp in anger over the fact that the Intercontinental Championship was seemingly stolen from his once again, thanks to rules from Cesaro that we're not even sure were indeed legitimate.
Cutting backstage, John Cena was shown in his locker room, placing his bags down as he took a moment to think about the high stakes in tonight's main event. When he turned around, he was met by Kofi Kingston. Cena asked Kofi if he believes in him? "John, I really want to. I know with you on our side, we can take care of People Power with no issues. But are you on our side?" Cena assured Kofi that he's fighting the good fight tonight, and that fight is against John Laurinaitis. Cena asked Kofi if he really believes in Punk's brainwashing scheme? "This has nothing to do with Punk. You said you would do anything to beat The Rock at WrestleMania. And 'anything' includes making a deal with the devil." Kofi left the room as Cena looked on, knowing that the trust of his teammates continues to gradually decline.
Cutting to another camera, World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan was shown in his locker room with AJ as he prepares for his 30-Minute Iron Man match tonight against Chris Jericho. "I'm telling you, sweetie. Trying this vegan diet with me is the best decision you'll ever make in your life. Next to dating me, or course." AJ then asked Bryan if he's feeling okay. "I feel great. Ever since I've been on this diet, I've felt like a million bucks. And since becoming World Heavyweight Champion, I've felt like a billion bucks." "No, Daniel. I mean in your behavior. At times, it seems like the World Title is getting to your head." Bryan stared at AJ with a puzzled glance for a bit. "Has anything gotten to your head? What, do you think I'm a changed man? Am I not the Daniel Bryan that swept you off your feet?" Before AJ could answer, Bryan said that he would see her later before leaving the room.
Returning to the arena, Josh Mathews was shown at the announce table to fill in for Michael Cole, who was receiving medical treatment after taking a Brogue Kick from Sheamus just now. Speaking of tables, several were shown set up around the ring as it was now time for the Tables Match. Justin Roberts quickly reviewed the rules, making it clear that you must be put through the table by your opponent in order to be declared victorious.
Tables Match Dolph Ziggler vs. Rob Van Dam | The bell sounded as Ziggler and Van Dam circled around for a bit, Ziggler eventually charging towards him. He kicked Dolph in the face with the tip of his boot, coming off of the table with a crossbody. Van Dam placed Dolph on the table, ascending to the top rope. As he did his thumb taunt, Ziggler rolled off of the table. Van Dam went after him, only to be hit with a thumb to the eye. Ziggler planted Van Dam with a DDT onto the floor, the sickening thud of skull meet concrete audible. Ziggler set up a table on the outside, placing Van Dam on it frontally. He stepped onto the ring apron, running towards the table until Van Dam moved out of the way. Ziggler stopped himself from crashing through the table, frantically holding onto the ropes. Van Dam delivered a kick to the back of Ziggler's feet, causing him to fall back-first onto the apron. Despite this being a Tables Match, Van Dam looked underneath the ring and brought out a steel chair. He delivered a few shots to Ziggler's back before placing him on the table. He slid back into the ring, setting the chair up near the ropes. In a Sabu-esque move, Van Dam ran onto the chair and then onto the top rope. Ziggler managed to move of harm's way, but Van Dam came off of the top rope and onto him still. Van Dam tossed Ziggler back into the ring, taking the chair with him. As he was going for a swing, Ziggler tripped Van Dam, causing him to fall and land face-first on the chair. As Van Dam was stirring to his feet, Ziggler hit a Fameasser, Van Dam's face bouncing off of the chair again. Ziggler was looking for a Powerbomb through the table, but Van Dam rolled out of it. Ziggler charged towards him, but he was tripped by Van Dam as his face bounced off the table, a bit of payback for the spot a few moments ago. Van Dam took the table and placed it in the corner. He was looking to whip Ziggler into it, but the Show Off held onto Van Dam. Unfortunately for him, Van Dam lifted him up from his leg, causing Ziggler to hit his face of the turnbuckle. Ziggler looked to be out as he sat in the corner, Van Dam noticing the chair. He placed it against Ziggler's face, climbing the turnbuckles on the horizontally opposite side. Van Dam did his thumb taunt as the Chicago crowd said his name along with him, flying off with a Van Terminator to Ziggler. RVD tossed the chair to the other corner, which would later turn out to be a mistake. He whipped Ziggler into the table, but it failed to break. As Van Dam had his attention to the crowd, the groggy Ziggler picked up the chair and kept it on his front side, hiding it from RVD. He Van Dam charged towards him with a Corner Splash, Ziggler tossed the chair into his face. Van Dam held his head as Ziggler delivered a Zig Zag, sending RVD back-first into the table. | Dolph Ziggler defeats Rob Van Dam |
Ziggler, who was still partially out of it, stirred to his feet as the official handed him his Money In The Bank briefcase. Ziggler rolled out of the ring as RVD was tended to, the Show Off standing tall tonight as he looks ahead to his future, which may very well have a championship waiting for him.
A video promo was shown for WWE Over The Limit, live Sunday May 20th, only on pay-per-view.
Backstage, John Cena was shown in his locker room once again as he was still focused on the dissension between him and his teammates. The door could be heard opening as he was expecting either CM Punk or Zack Ryder. Instead, Cena came face to face with Dean Ambrose. "We all have a monster inside of us, Cena. Some shine more than others, and I think you and I are perfect examples of that. I'm a sick, twisted human being, if you choose to refer to me as one. And you are the ideal civilian. Or at least, you are for the time being." Cena told Ambrose that he's not perfect. Nobody is. "You're right. We all have a monster inside of us. And mines will be unleashed during War Games, but not against my own team." Ambrose told Cena that at this point, can he really call himself a part of a team? "I mean, they all hate you. And I'm afraid that this is a hate that not even you can rise above." Cena told Ambrose that he has nothing to do with the War Games match, so why was he here? "Because I don't hate you. And when was the last time you spoke to someone who didn't hate you?" Cena thought to himself for a bit before Ambrose left the room.
Cutting to another camera, World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan and AJ were shown making their way down a corridor. "On second thought, AJ, stay back here." When AJ asked why, Bryan gave her a very direct answer. "Because I don't need any distractions." Bryan continued on as he prepares to endure 30 minutes with one of the best wrestlers in the world.

With Jericho unresponsive the official called for the bell. (3-2, Bryan). Bryan released the LeBell Lock as 27 seconds remained and Jericho still passed out on the mat. Bryan was announced as the winner as he still had the LeBell Lock in on Jericho, refusing to release. Even the commentators were now thinking differently of Bryan, Lawler shouting for him to let go of Jericho. More officials were out to restrain Bryan, but he still wouldn't let go. They were soon able to get him off and give Jericho medical attention. The official tried to hand Bryan back the World Heavyweight Title, but he pushed everyone aside and tried to re-apply the LeBell Lock. AJ now ran down to the ring, trying to calm Bryan down. A group of officials and medics surrounded Jericho to prevent Bryan from getting to him again. AJ appeared to be frightened by Bryan's actions, asking what had gotten into him. The official once again tried to hand Bryan the championship, but he claimed that he didn't hear the announcement of his victory. This prompted Justin Roberts to once again declare Daniel Bryan the winner of the match. Booker T stated on commentary that it was sickening that Jericho is seriously injured, and all Bryan cares about is hearing his name being called. Bryan took the World Heavyweight Title, raising it high in the air as if he had just won the lottery. "We did it, AJ! Yes! We did it! Yes!" He hugged AJ, though she clearly wasn't in a celebratory mood. Bryan repeatedly raised the title in the air as he shouted "Yes!" over and over again. AJ left the ring as Bryan continued to celebrate, a bloodied Jericho being assisted up the entrance ramp.
A video promo was shown for the WrestleMania XXVIII DVD and Blu Ray, available in stores May 8th.
Returning to Extreme Rules, some of Chris Jericho's blood was shown stained on the mat as the commentators still couldn't believe what they just witnessed from Daniel Bryan. "We talk about whether or not John Cena will show a new side tonight? We just saw that out of Daniel Bryan," said Booker T. Nonetheless, we're sure that we'll hear from Daniel Bryan, Chris Jericho, and AJ about this situation Friday night on SmackDown.
Strap Match Alberto Del Rio vs. Brodus Clay
| For weeks now, Alberto Del Rio and Brodus Clay have gotten under each other's skin. It all started with Brodus eliminating Del Rio from a No.1 Contender's situation, and has escalated into a rivalry that leads to a Strap Match tonight. Both men were linked to their end of the strap as the bell sounded. The two immediately went after one another with shots to their heads, Brodus able to stagger Del Rio first. He backed the Mexican Aristocrat into a corner, striking him a few times with his elbow. Brodus whipped Del Rio into the opposite corner as the strap forced the Funkasaurus to move along with him. He splashed Del Rio in a corner, bringing him closer to the ring to go for a cover. Del Rio managed to kick out at two. Brodus took a portion of the strap and whipped Del Rio in the back with it. He screamed in pain as Brodus delivered a few more shots. He tried to crawl away, but Brodus simply used the strap to bring him back towards him. Del Rio hit Brodus with a low blow, perfectly legal in this match and throughout the entire night. He took the strap and whipped Brodus a few times. He placed the strap around Brodus' neck, looking to choke him out with it. The Funkasaurus used his back to ram Del Rio into corner, freeing himself from the stranglehold. Brodus brought Del Rio over to him with the strap, taking him down with a T Bone Suplex. Brodus got the cover, but Del Rio managed to kick out. With Del Rio on the mat, Brodus went for a splash. However, the Mexican Aristocrat managed to move out harm's way just in time. Del Rio stomped as Brodus until he moved off of the strap, then taking it and whipping the Funkasaurus once again. Del Rio planted Brodus with a DDT, but couldn't get the victory that way. He began looking for the Cross Armbreaker, but Brodus powered out of it. He planted Del Rio with an overhead slam, the Mexican Aristocrat getting his foot on the bottom rope during the pin attempt. Brodus picked Del Rio up, standing him in the center of the ring. He went for What The Funk, but the strap forced Del Rio to move along with Brodus. The Funkasaurus turned around and was hit with a nice lariat from Del Rio. He whipped Brodus a few more times before placing him in the corner. He tossed Brodus into the opposite corner as the strength and speed of the Funkasaurus caused him to break free from his end of the strap. Brodus' chest hit the turnbuckle as he backed into the center of the ring. With the strap entirely to himself, Del Rio wrapped it around Brodus' neck as he attempted to choke him out. As Brodus was fading, Del Rio hit a Backstabber with the strap still around his neck. Del Rio covered Brodus, and just like that, the Funkasaurus is no longer undefeated. | Alberto Del Rio defeats Brodus Clay |
Del Rio stood to his feet as Ricardo Rodriguez announced him as the winner. The Mexican Aristocrat placed one foot on Brodus' chest, laughing and grinning at him as he has managed to do what no one else has since the debut of the Funkasaurus - defeat him.
Backstage, John Cena was shown once again in his locker room when United States Champion Zack Ryder walked in. Cena asked Ryder if he hated him? "You're my bro, John. I could never hate you. But I'm not sure if I trust you." Cena chuckled to himself, telling Ryder that that seems to be the popular answer as of late. "The team is paranoid because Punk's career is on the line. And I'm sorry, John, but you do have a motive. The last time you were WWE Champion was in this very arena last July, and Punk beat you. You beat The Rock with assistance from Laurinaitis. I don't know what you're going to do tonight, but everything looks too good for Johnny."
A shot outside of the arena was shown as we are live from the sold out All State Arena here in Chicago. Lawler noted that while Chicago is a very beautiful city, what's coming up next is going to be far from beautiful. Two of the most dangerous and calculating superstars will go at it in a Last Man Standing match. A video package was shown, focusing on Dean Ambrose's promo from this past Friday. While he was speaking, several highlights of the feud with Orton were shown, beginning with Ambrose attacking Orton back in February. The two would meet in the Money In The Bank Ladder match at WrestleMania XXVIII, ultimately screwing one another out of the briefcase. After winning a Beat The Clock challenge, Orton was allowed to choose the stipulation for their match at Extreme Rules. The Viper chose a Last Man Standing match, which prompted Ambrose to become obsessed with getting the upperhand. He took Orton out on SmackDown in the UK, counting to ten as he laid motionless on the mat. This past Friday, Orton would retaliate with an RKO onto the stage. The Viper used a stopwatch to reach ten seconds, sending a statement to the psychotic superstar as they head into Extreme Rules tonight.
Last Man Standing Match Randy Orton vs. Dean Ambrose
| As Orton was making his entrance, Ambrose decided not to waste any time as he went right after the Viper. Orton dodged Ambrose, hitting him with a few strikes as the bell sounded. He tossed Ambrose into the barricade, continuing to pound him with his fists. Orton clotheslined Ambrose over the barricade as the action was now spilling into the audience here in the All State Arena. Ambrose rammed Orton's lower back area into the barricade before taking a chair that a fan was sitting on. He struck Orton in the mid section before hitting him again in the back. The official began counting, but Orton was back up on his feet rather quickly. Ambrose set the chair up, seating Orton in it. "Join your people!" Ambrose shouted as he backed away a bit. He was going for a boot, but Orton caught him with a clothesline. He took the chair for himself and struck Ambrose in the back a few times before one final shot across the face that sent the psychotic superstar over the barricade. Orton handed the fan back his chair before joining Ambrose at ringside. Ambrose caught Orton by surprise with a Scoop Slam onto the floor, shouting at the referee to being counting. It was useless as Orton was quickly able to stagger to his feet. Ambrose cornered Orton into a barricade, hitting him with a few forerams and knife edge chops. He attempted to whip Orton into the steel steps, but the Viper countered it and sent Ambrose into the steel. Orton looked under the ring and brought out a kendo stick. He slowly approached Ambrose before raising the stick and striking him in the back with it. Orton delivered a few more shots to Ambrose's side as he backed up the entrance ramp. Orton charged towards him, but Ambrose caught him with a back body drop onto the steel. He picked up the kendo stick, taking his turn at striking Orton in the back with it. Ambrose looked to be going for a suplex, but Orton countered it and hit one of his own onto the steel. Both men remained down for a bit, but were able to make bit back to their feet with more than enough seconds remaining on the official's count. They traded blows for a bit until Orton blocked one of Ambrose's shots, hitting him with a forearm uppercut. Ambrose crawled towards ringside, Orton grabbing him by his hair. He took Ambrose over to the steel steps, repeatedly bouncing his head off of them. Ambrose elbowed Orton in the gut a few times, causing him to back away. Ambrose picked up the top portion of the steel steps, waiting until Orton turned around to blast the Viper in face with them. Ambrose took Orton by the arm, placing it on the bottom steps. He picked up the top steps with the intentions of crushing Orton's arm. Orton reacted quickly, tripping Ambrose as his head landed on the steps that he was carrying. Ambrose remained out for a bit, but was ultimately able to meet the count. Orton brought out a table from underneath the ring, setting it up on the outside. Ambrose was placed on the table as Orton stepped onto the ring apron. Before he could act, Ambrose moved off of the table and slid into the ring. Orton joined him there, repeatedly striking him in a corner. Orton went back to ringside, grabbing a steel chair. He tossed it in the ring as Ambrose quickly grabbed it. He and Orton had a tug of war over the Chair, Ambrose winning after low blowing him. Ambrose struck Orton in the back with the chair before grabbing another one. He set the two chairs up with the seats next to one another, then placing Orton on the top turnbuckle. He was going for a superplex, but Orton blocked it and retaliated with a few headbutts. He weakened Ambrose enough to push him off of the turnbuckle as the psychotic superstar crashed onto the two chairs. Ambrose remained down until the count of six, staggering back to his feet. Orton grabbed Ambrose in RKO position, staring at the two broken chairs on the mat. Ambrose was able to release Orton during the attempt as the Viper crashed his back onto the chairs. Ambrose picked up one of the chairs and repeatedly Orton's back before tossing him out to ringside. Ambrose grabbed the ring bell, striking Orton in the skull with it. The official made the count, but Orton managed to meet it. Ambrose grabbed Orton, but Viper reacted quickly by taking one of the monitors from the announce table and leveling Ambrose over the head with it. He began taking apart the table before picking up the ring bell. Orton charged towards Ambrose with it, but dodged the shot and dropkicked Orton into the steel ring post. Ambrose was going for the Knee Trembler, but Orton dodged it as Ambrose crashed his knee into the ring post. Orton then took Ambrose and placed his legs on the barricade, planting him onto the floor with a DDT. The official began the count, but Ambrose managed to get to his feet. Orton took him up onto the announce table, but Ambrose fought back. He refused to be RKO'd as he locked Orton in a sleeper hold. Second by second, it looked liked the Viper was fading away. Ambrose soon released the hold as Orton dropped to his knees. He laughed maniacally while telling off the audience. Orton, however, was simply playing possum as he caught Ambrose by surprise with an RKO onto the announce table! The table didn't break as Ambrose bounced off and onto the floor. The official began counting, Ambrose barely making it up to his feet in time. While Ambrose was going that, Orton took the table he found earlier and brought it closer to his opponent. He set up the table and took Ambrose up onto the ring apron. Orton had the intentions of RKO'ing Ambrose from the apron and onto the table. Ambrose held onto the ropes as Orton crashed through the table by himself! Orton remained down for some time, getting up to his feet at the count of nine. Ambrose began going crazy, violently pulling on his hair as he pulled his knee pad down. He charged towards Orton with a Knee Trembler, but missed as he turned around and was met with an RKO! Once again, Ambrose struggled, but was able to get to his feet. He stumbled and fell back onto his hands and knees as Orton noticed something. With one side of Ambrose's head near the ring post, Orton delivered a Punt Kick to the other side! Ambrose's brains may have been scrambled as he was out cold, not meeting the ten count this time. | Randy Orton defeats Dean Ambrose |
The bell sounded as the official raised Orton's arm in victory before quickly tending to Ambrose. Several highlights from this incredible bout were shown before Orton posed in the ring for the audience, finally putting Dean Ambrose away once and for all. More officials checked on Ambrose as he had not made a single movement since being kicked in the skull. The Viper made his way back up the entrance ramp, ready to move on to the next chapter in his career.
Backstage, Team People Power were shown in John Laurinaitis' office, discussing strategy for the War Games match that is still to come. Laurinaitis walked into the room soon, telling everyone that they wouldn't believe this. "I got a call from the Board of Directors, and they told me that they have a new General Manager of RAW on stand by if we lose tonight." The group let out a laugh, feeling that there is no way they will suffer defeat tonight. "But I do have an announcement to make for RAW tomorrow. Evan, I told you last Monday that you were the No.1 Contender for the United States Championship. And you'll be getting your shot tomorrow." Bourne hugged Laurinaitis, telling him that it's going to be an honor to become United States Champion in the first CM Punk-free edition of RAW.
Returning to ringside, the lumberjills for the upcoming match made their way down to the ring. The brackets for the Divas Championship tournament was shown as we have now reached the Finals. Who will seize the opportunity and become the new Divas Champion?

Layla attempted a DDT, but Eve was able to push her away into the ropes. Off of the rebound, Layla walked into a boot from Eve. She got the cover on Layla, but not the victory. Eve kept a rest hold on Layla for a while as she tried to rally the Chicago crowd on her side. Layla was able to get to her feet, hitting Eve with a few elbows to the mid section. As Layla tried to run towards the ropes, Even grabbed her by the hair and pulled her down to the mat. She struck Layla a few times as the official pulled her away. Eve was able to get her foot on the rope to break the count. Layla picked Eve up, who kicked her in the mid section and tossed her to the outside. With Layla on the outside, the heel Divas opted to attack her rather than throw her back into the ring. The prompted the face Divas to step in for Layla, resulting in a brawl between all of the Lumberjills. Layla rolled back into the ring, but was kicked in the face by Eve. She brought Layla up to her feet, only to take her back down with the Heart Breaker to get the victory and the championship. | Eve is your NEW Divas Champion |
Eve was handed the Divas Championship as she raised it high in the air, celebrating her victory in not just this match, but the tournament as a whole. She made her way up the entrance ramp, showing off the championship as some of the face Divas helped Layla up in the ring.
Backstage, CM Punk was shown in his locker room as the Chicago audience erupted. We then saw United States Champion Zack Ryder and Kofi Kingston behind him, John Cena in a distant corner. Punk turned to Ryder and Kofi, telling them that this is the most important of their careers thus far. They're about to go out there and fight for everyone who has ever had to put up with John Laurinaitis' bullsh*t. They fight for themselves and save their careers. Because if Laurinaitis remains in power, they can kiss their dreams goodbye. "I'm going out there first," said Punk. Cena came in, saying that he would like to go out there first. "I'm sure you would, John. Give your true teammates a head start. Screw you." Punk made his way out of the locker room as Ryder and Kofi stared at Cena.
Cutting to another camera, Team People Power were shown making their way down a corridor, lead by WWE Champion Wade Barrett. In the arena, the lights dimmed as the War Games structured lowered to the floor. After everything is all set and done, the landscape of the WWE will be changed forever.
We cut to a video package for War Games, taking us back to the night CM Punk brought up John Laurinaitis' name in his infamous "Pipebomb." Laurinaitis would implement himself into WWE affairs, soon becoming RAW General Manager. Laurinaitis would abuse his power, targeting then WWE Champion CM Punk. He would band together a group of superstars, bringing them into "People Power." Punk, Zack Ryder, and Kofi Kingston would all fight against Laurinaitis and People Power, leading to Punk making a proposal. A War Games match tonight, with the stakes as high as they could possibly be. If Punk's team wins, John Laurinaitis must leave the WWE. If Team People Power wins, CM Punk will be forced to leave in front of his hometown audience. In the middle of all of this is John Cena, who asked to be on CM Punk's team. Punk denied Cena a spot on his team, feeling that his only intentions would be to return the favor to John Laurinaitis for "handing" him a victory at WrestleMania. Laurinaitis would force Cena onto Punk's Team, playing the role of the master manipulator. Will John Cena prove his loyalty? Will it be CM Punk or John Laurinaitis who are forced to exit the WWE for good?

He stepped outside, pulling the door off of its hinges. Tensai looked under the ring, bringing a chair into play. He handed it to Bourne, who nailed Kofi and Punk in the backs with it. He gave the chair to Christian, who also had a bit of fun with it. The clock reached zero as Zack Ryder made his way down to the ring, knowing that he would be running into a dead end as Kofi and Punk were down, and Team People Power were standing tall. He immediately went after Bourne, taking him down to the mat. Tensai pulled him off as Christian struck him in the back with a chair. As Tensai and Christian focused on Ryder, Punk grabbed Bourne and rammed the back of his head into the cage wall. He turned Christian around, striking him a few times as Tensai went after him. The chair was left on the mat as Kofi took it, nailing Tensai in the back until the monster was down on his knees. With Tensai vulnerable, Kofi hit Trouble In Paradise. Ryder went back after Bourne, the two men who meet for the United States Championship tomorrow night getting a piece of one another. Kofi struck Tensai in the back with the chair a few more times to keep the henchman down. As Punk and Christian battled, the clock reached zero once again as WWE Champion Wade Barrett was out next, completing Team People Power. Punk delivered a suicide dive through the ropes where the cage door once was, quickly taking down the man who took the gold from him back in England. Punk caught Barrett in the side of his head with a few elbows, sliding off of his shoulders as he went back on the attack. Tensai and Cena traded blows as Kofi and Ryder were back on their feet, the war now completely even. Kofi sent Christian to the outside as the two brawled. Christian rammed him into the barricade as he began to scale the War Games structure, Kofi soon following him. Kofi fought out of it, hitting Trouble In Paradise as Christian fell back onto the table. As Tensai had Cena in the claw hold, Cena managed to ram his back into the cage. Cena struck Tensai a few times before attempting to whip the monster into a barricade. Tensai was able to counter it and send Cena into the barricade. In the ring, Barrett set up the table as he was looking to deliver Wasteland to Punk through it. Punk was able to fight out of it, hitting Wade with the GTS. He went for the cover, but Bourne nailed him in the back with the steel chair. Back on top of the cage, Kofi had the ladder set up as he climbed it, Christian still out on the table. In the ring, Ryder had Bourne sitting in a corner with the steel chair in front his face. Long Island Iced Z fist pumped with Chicago before delivering a Broski Boot that sent the chair into Bourne's skull. Wade Barrett staggered to his feet as Ryder noticed the table set up. He attempted the Rough Ryder through it, but Barrett prevented it and powerbombed the United States Champion through the table. Three tables have been shattered, leaving Kofi Kingston, Christian, Tensai, and now Ryder out of commission, and a steel chair taking out Bourne. Cena, Punk, and Barrett were the only superstars left standing. Barrett and Punk brawled as Cena re-entered the ring, fatigued after lifting Tensai to his shoulders. The audience began booing rampantly as John Laurinaitis marched down to ringside with a steel chair. He tried to hand it to Cena as Barrett and Punk took one another out with simultaneous clotheslines. Cena took the chair from Laurinaitis looking back as the two team captains staggered to their feet. They both saw Cena with the chair, stopping for a moment. "You son of a bitch," mouthed Punk as Barrett lifted him up this shoulders for Wasteland. Suddenly, Cena hit Barrett in the gut with the chair, followed by a shot to the back. When Laurinaitis turned around, Punk hoisted him up to his shoulders. The crowd went wild as Punk was now going to do something he had undoubtedly been wanting to do for years. He delivered a GTS to Laurinaitis, standing tall over his former boss. Kofi Kingston tried to climb down the cage as Cena helped him to the floor.
