A nice way to decide the advantage in the Pre-Show Match, and I'm glad Heath Slater won. But as I've said in my replies, People Power is not prevailing tonight. Shocked to see Ted DiBiase and Michael McGillicutty retain their titles, tbh. I mentioned how it would either make or break them, and I think this definitely made them. Still not sold on them as Champions, but hopefully a lengthier reign can change that. I liked this whole "Swiss Rules" thing, however gimmicky it made the match. Obvious victory for Antonio Cesaro though; I hope he has a good run with the title. Loved Cole receiving the Brogue Kick post-match, haha. Definitely the right move to have Dolph Ziggler go over here, as Rob Van Dam shouldn't really be getting near the briefcase. A wonderful Iron Man Match that I can only imagine in my dreams between these two; hard to believe they only faced off once in real life. I think it was obvious that Daniel Bryan would leave with the World Heavyweight Championship considering the long build to his reign at WrestleMania. Then again, Extreme Rules will always be a predictable event when it comes to Championships, imo. Not sure on this Strap Match stipulation as you know, but a nice win for Alberto Del Rio. I would've loved to see Brodus Clay go over, but I'm sure he'll get his chance soon. As over as Dean Ambrose is with the online fans, this was definitely the right decision to have Randy Orton defeat him. Ambrose shouldn't be picking up high profile victories just yet, so I'm glad you let Orton have this one. I'm sure we'll see Ambrose get his measure of revenge, however. BOOM! As predicted from the beginning; Layla versus Eve with Eve walking out as the Divas Champion. I'm so psychic. And finally, definitely the best built match on the card, as the Main Event should be. And just like I said, John Cena proves everybody wrong and showing his loyalty to CM Punk and his team. It's sad to see Johnny Ace leave, but I hope you bring him back in some form or other later down the line. Overall, definitely one of your best events, really good job, Ryan.

Extreme Rules:
- Having the pre-show match have main event implications is a very nice touch and having Slater win was the obvious choice, the heels always need the one man advantage in a match like this. It's obvious that team People Power isn't going to win though. - A solid tag team turmoil match to kick off the show, my only problem is that with eight matches on the card including an iron man match and the main event obviously needing a lot of time there'd be very little time between eliminations. It's good to see DiBiase and McGillicutty going over in this one, I wasn't expecting it but I really think it puts them over as a team. - Typical 'insert custom heel rules here' type match with the rules getting read out as it continued. I imagine a match between Sheamus and and Cesaro would actually be really good. I'm glad that Cesaro went over in this one, I really don't think that Sheamus needs the Intercontinental Championship while it's doing wonders for Cesaro. - As I said before, I really don't like that you used a tables stipulation for this one, it feels like you just ran out of stipulations and threw this in here when honestly I don't think it even needed to be on the card. Still Ziggler had to go over, Van Dam at this point in his career would be nothing more than a vet used to put others over in the WWE. - The Bryan / Jericho match would be awesome in real life, though I still think with the ironman stipulation you've just got too much on this card to realistically fit into a three hour show. Daniel Bryan was obviously going over in this one after winning the title at Extreme Rules, but still a very good match and I'm liking the slow burn to his heel turn. - Really not a fan of Del Rio getting the win here, it seemed like you had a good chance to make Brodus a legitimate threat with the undefeated streak behind him and now I can't help but think he's been weakened considerably. Plus the win doesn't do anything special for Del Rio. Wrong call in my opinion. - The Last Man Standing match sounded downright brutal, which was good to see. While I would have liked an Ambrose win it was the right choice to have Orton go over as long as Ambrose gets some measure of revenge down the line. I'm hoping for big things from him moving forwards and think a run with one of the midcard titles would do wonders for him. - Layla / Eve was the obvious finish to this tournament, and Eve going over was the better choice. While I do like Layla Eve has proven that she can be the cornerstone of the division and I'm hoping that you continue to push the Diva's division. - Obviously this was going on as the main event because it's been the best built angle since Mania. While I think the entrance order made sense I would have swapped Tensai and Bourne, would have made for a much sweeter moment when Kingston came out and made the opening scrap that much better. Cena obviously with the big save and the really obvious but gratifying none the less victory for team Punk. Hopefully Laurinaitis doesn't stay away too long, I've found him very entertaining. - A solid show overall with the one finish I didn't agree with. There was far too much on this card for a three hour show however and you'd have been better off dropping a match to make it more realistic but that's just a small immersion issue. Keep it up.

WWE Extreme Rules Good win for Heath Slater over David Otunga in the pre-show. Hot start to the show with the Tag Team Turmoil. Great to see Mysterio and Cara as the mystery team, but even better to see McGillicutty and DiBiase retain the straps. Loving the idea of the tag team. Liked the Swiss Rules match, great pay per view debut for Antonio Cesaro by getting the heel victory over Sheamus. Brouge Kick to Cole! Great segment between Kofi and Cena, really loving the build to War Games. Tables match seems like an odd stipulation for RVD versus Ziggler, never really been a fan of the match unless it had the Dudleyz anyway. Still, awesome spot to end it and a solid victory for Dolph Ziggler on pay per view. Wow, that Ambrose-Cena segment was brilliant! Fantastic Iron Man bout between Daniel Bryan and Chris Jericho, really loved the ending. Setting the heel turn of Bryan, and perhaps even a face turn for Jericho. Brodus Clay versus Del Rio was a lose lose situation, with either man taking the risk of looking week in a loss. Not really sure who would've been the right choice, maybe Brodus could've used the victory, but Del Rio needs some heat. Another awesome segment with Cena, great job on this again. Sweet Last Man Standing match, Ambrose could've used a huge rub here though. Eve winning the Diva's Champion was the right call, she is by far the most (perhaps only?) interesting Diva on the entire roster. Now, time for the match we've all been waiting for. Bourne and Punk were great choices to start with Tensai coming in second. What a chaotic, but awesome way to end the show. The ending was predictable, however it still served it's purpose. Punk with the G.T.S. after the match was a nice touch, even if I think Johnny Ace's reign got cut short. Looking forward to the future after such a great pay per view.

| Monday Night RAW | April 30th, 2012 | Dayton, OH |
WWE Superstars 5/3 Taping Results David Otunga def. Curt Hawkins Santino Marella and Derrick Bateman def. Primo and Epico
- Following the signature WWE intro, we cut directly to the arena here in Dayton as cameras showed several signs in memory of John Laurinaitis' reign as the General Manager of RAW. Michael Cole, who had quite the bruise on his face, stood up and asked for the audience's attention. "I was presented with a letter from Mr. John Laurinaitis that I will read aloud. And I quote...I hope you're all happy. You had not only a quality General Manager, but a quality human being representing both Monday Night RAW and the WWE Universe. But you all chose to root for low-class competitors like CM Punk over a hero like myself. My departure will most certainly result in the demise and collapse of the WWE, and you all have nobody to blame but yourselves. People Power will still live on through those who endorsed. I would like to congratulate Eve on becoming the new Divas Champion, and Evan Bourne, who I know will defeat Zack Ryder tonight and become the United States Champion. But my reign isn't over just yet. Before the War Games match took place, I made one final act as the General Manager of RAW. So ladies and gentlemen, the new No.1 contender for the WWE Championship, and the man who will meet Wade Barrett at Over The Limit......"
- .....AWESOME!" The audience booed heavily as the returning Miz made his way out to the stage, sporting a different hairstyle and a light beard. Miz, who we haven't seen since he defeated Mick Foley at WrestleMania XXVIII, stepped into the ring as he grabbed a microphone. "Miss me?" asked Miz to even more boos. The Awesome One said that for the past month, he's gotten away from everything because of one simple reason - the WWE Universe. "You all chose to cheer for a washed up, hardcore has been rather than the present and future of sports entertainment? Really? Really?" Miz said that it didn't surprise him that the Universe allowed a leader like John Laurinaitis to waltz right out of the company. "But guess what? Johnny's final act also turned out to be his greatest. Because you will all witness the Age of Awesome recommence at Over The Limit. Because it is then that I will stand tall and cut Wade Barrett's reign short when I once again become WWE Champion. Because I'm The Miz.....and I'm......"
- WOO! The audience erupted as a familiar theme hit. It was none other than the "Nature Boy" Ric Flair who strutted out to the stage. Miz looked as if he had seen a ghost as the audience "Woo'd" like crazy. "I saw what went down last night in War Games. And I saw John Laurinaitis fall flat on his face, and on CM Punk's knee. And as Johnny walked right out the door, it opened for someone else. That someone else could only be one man. The Stylin', profilin', limousine riding, jet flying, kiss-stealing, wheelin' n' dealin' son of a gun! The Nature Boy is back and in charge as GM, baby! Woo!" Another huge pop came from the audience for the new RAW General Manager. "I took a month off to get away from washed up has beens. And the second I step foot back in the WWE, so do you? You know? It doesn't matter, Flair. It doesn't matter because you can't take this moment away from me. You can't take away the fact that I am the No.1 contender for the WWE Championship at Over The Limit." Flair told Miz that he's right. He can't take that opportunity away from him. "But I can add to it. Because Miz, you're not the only superstar who is deserving of a title shot. Last night, two men stood above the rest and undoubtedly should have their names added to the mix. So tonight, in that very ring, they're gonna go at it one on one. John Cena vs. CM Punk! And I'm going to place the winner in your match with Wade Barrett at Over The Limit and make it a Triple Threat!" More cheers for the Nature Boy after his huge announcement, Miz irate in the ring. While Miz is the No.1 Contender, he won't be the only after tonight as John Cena and CM Punk square off for that same opportunity at Over The Limit.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning to Monday Night RAW, a recap of the opening segment was shown as three huge pieces of information were unfolded. The Miz made his return as the No.1 contender for the WWE Championship, only to be interrupted by the new General Manager of RAW, Ric Flair! And on top of that, John Cena and CM Punk will go one on one tonight to determine who will be added to the match at Over The Limit with Wade Barrett and The Miz for the WWE Championship.
- Cutting backstage, Team People Power were shown in an office that they had decorated as a tribute to John Laurinaitis, having a moment of silence for their former boss. Several staff members entered the office, removing all of the Laurinaitis props. "What are you doing?! Where is your respect!?" shouted a furious Evan Bourne. New RAW General Manager Ric Flair walked into the room, telling the workers to take everything Johnny-related out of there. Flair told Bourne to calm down. Johnny is gone, and he's not coming back. "Don't worry about the past, Evan. Worry about the future because it's you against Zack Ryder tonight for the United States Championship." Flair turned his attention to Christian, asking him if he was alright? "Kofi Kingston dropped his legs on me through a table on top of a steel roof and you ask me if I'm alright?! You're still the same, senile old man we all know and hate," said Christian. Flair told Captain Charisma that it's a shame he isn't 100% because he just came to inform him that he's in action against Kofi Kingston tonight. "Actually, it's up next." said Flair. "Now get out of my office," he told People Power. They all slowly made their way out of the room, Tensai staring down at Flair and breathing heavily in an attempt to intimidate the new RAW GM.
- KOFI KINGSTON DEF. CHRISTIAN: The first match in the reign of the Nature Boy as RAW General Manager turned out to be a hot one. Despite the huge bump both men took last night, Kofi and Christian managed to put on a great opening contest. After missing a Spear, Christian turned around and was hit with Trouble In Paradise, giving Kofi Kingston the victory.
- The audience popped as Kofi stood to his feet, raising his arms in victory. One night after helping exile John Laurinaitis from the WWE, Kofi Kingston scores a huge victory. With Johnny out of the way, he now can look ahead to finally reaching the top of the mountain on Monday Night RAW.
- Backstage, Ric Flair was shown in his new office, getting comfortable and settled in. New Divas Champion Eve walked in, introducing herself to the Nature Boy. She gloated about her victory last night in the Divas Championship tournament, citing that as proof that she's the top Diva in the company. And she hopes Flair realizes that. "Of course I do. And because you're the best, you should be willing to defend your championship wherever and whenever. Which is why later on tonight, you're defending against Layla in a rematch from last night." Eve looked to be a bit annoyed at the announcement, but tried to maintain a good image for the new General Manager. Flair then asked Eve what she was doing after her match? "I don't know. Why?" asked Eve. "Baby, the Nature Boy is back in the WWE, which means Space Mountain is up and running again!" Eve looked disgusted as she quickly left the room, Flair almost salivating.
- A graphic was shown for tonight's main event. John Cena and CM Punk will do battle to determine who will join WWE Champion Wade Barrett and The Miz in the title match at Over The Limit.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning from the commercial break, another video package was shown of the mysterious figure in the woods. "So the People Power era is over? No it ain't. Every morning you people wake up, you have the power to choose what you want to do with your lives. Like right now. You're choosing to listen to my words. And a good choice is what you made. Because your lives have been miserable. Full of depression and disparity up until now when you heard me speaking. Take my hand and follow me into the promise land! The land where your dreams will all come true at my order! Because ain't no one else gonna give you the chances I'm giving you. And I'm a man of my word. At least, if you choose to view me as a man. Or a monster. Whatever your preference is, I'll spare you. Tiiiiiiime is on my siiiiide."
- Backstage, new RAW General Manager Ric Flair was shown in his office once again when Rob Van Dam walked in. He said it was good to see Flair again, but it's even better to have a GM with some brains. And he knows that Flair will give him and the WWE Universe what they want, and that's a rematch. "Me and Ziggler, one more time, tonight." Before Flair could give an answer, Mr. Money In The Bank himself walked in. "Flair, why give in to RVD's demands? He lost last night. As far as I'm concerned, his career is just like all of your marriages - dead." Flair told Ziggler that he did enjoy their match last night at Extreme Rules and would love to see it again tonight. So we will. Van Dam thanked Flair before Ziggler butted in again. "I'm not going up against him again for nothing. If you want this match to happen, Ric, I need something in exchange." Flair thought about it for a bit before saying that he has an idea that will satisfy everyone. "Van Dam, Ziggler has a point. I need something from you to put on the line. So if Dolph wins tonight, your contract with WWE will be terminated." Van Dam looked to be in disbelief as Ziggler chuckled to himself, thanking Flair. "Hold on there, Money. I wasn't finished. If Van Dam is putting his WWE contract on the line, you're putting a contract on the line as well. To be more specific, your Money In The Bank contract." Ziggler was irate as Flair asked for the both of them to leave his office. Tonight, another rematch from Extreme Rules. Rob Van Dam's WWE contract vs. Dolph Ziggler's Money In The Bank contract.
- ALBERTO DEL RIO DEF. YOSHI TATSU: Coming off of a huge victory last night and snapping Brodus Clay's undefeated streak, Alberto Del Rio had all of the momentum here against Yoshi Tatsu. In the end, Alberto was able to force Yoshi to submit to the Cross Armbreaker to get the win.
- Del Rio refused to release the Cross Armbreaker as the bell sounded, probably on the verge of snapping Yoshi's arm. He let it go when the theme of Brodus Clay hit. Del Rio stood to his feet, waiting for his arrival. The Funkasaurus made his way out to the stage in regular street clothing and as serious of a facial expression as ever. Del Rio taunted Brodus, yelling at him to step into the ring with him. Instead, Brodus turned his attention to Del Rio's car and walked up to it. Del Rio ordered Ricardo to get Brodus, though his personal ring announcer was extremely hesitant of getting anywhere near the Funkasaurus. In an amazing display of strength, Brodus was actually able to flip the car over! Del Rio watched in shock as Brodus made his way to the back. Alberto rushed to his flipped over vehicle, having no choice but to stare at what remained of it.
- Backstage, United States Champion Zack Ryder was shown making his way down to the ring. He defends the gold against Evan Bourne, next.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- A promo was shown for this Friday's edition of SmackDown. Coming off of the heels of Extreme Rules, General Manager Teddy Long has made a huge announcement. This Friday, a Fatal Four Way Elimination match will take place with Randy Orton, Kane, Cody Rhodes, and Chris Jericho. The winner will be declared the new No.1 contender for Daniel Bryan's World Heavyweight Championship. Friday Night SmackDown, this Friday on SyFy.
- Returning to RAW, a recap was shown of Brodus Clay flipping over Alberto Del Rio's car. We then saw what happened during the commercial break as Del Rio ordered Ricardo to flip the car back in place, but was unable to.
- UNITED STATES CHAMPIONSHIP - EVAN BOURNE DEF. ZACK RYDER: An incredible United States Championship bout to cap things off for the first hour. Bourne was fueled by John Laurinaitis' exile, but Long Island Iced Z but up as hard of a fight as ever. In the end, Ryder missed the Rough Ryder from the second rope, landed on his leg as Bourne found the opportunity to hit the Shining Wizard. He covered Ryder to get the victory and the title.
- The audience booed heavily as Bourne stood on his knees, the official handing him the United States Championship. He raised it high in the air, shouting "This one's for you, Johnny!" Bourne made his way up the entrance ramp, standing tall as the new United States Champion.
- Cutting backstage, The Miz was shown in his locker room, still furious over Ric Flair's decision to make the WWE Championship match at Over The Limit a Triple Threat with either CM Punk or John Cena. WWE Champion Wade Barrett walked into the room, telling Miz that Flair is ridiculous. "I'm coming off of a War Games match, and I'm told that I should be expecting not one, but two No.1 contenders?" Miz told Barrett that he's not happy either. "Flair is a senile old man who has no idea how to run a show. He can't even control his own life, and the Board has trusted him with RAW?" Barrett told Miz that while they can't do anything about Flair, they can do something about his decision making.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- A promo was shown for this week's edition of WWE NXT. The day has finally arrived. Interim General Manager Dusty Rhodes will make a huge announcement that will change the landscape of NXT forever. WWE NXT, this Wednesday on ION Television.
- Returning to Monday Night RAW, R-Truth was shown in the restroom, stating his grievances to a janitor. "Johnny was the only man who could get me a lawyer. Now he's gone! And I thought Ric Flair would be willing to work with me, but he said I'm too crazy! What does he know about crazy! He fights his clothes! If I had a lawyer, all would be right. But ain't anything right!" The janitor told Truth that if he needs a lawyer, why doesn't he just go to David Otunga. "......That's a great idea! You should be a lawyer yourself," said Truth to the janitor before he wheeled himself out of the restroom.
- DIVAS CHAMPIONSHIP - EVE DEF. LAYLA:A rematch from Extreme Rules last night, and a decent title defense for the new champion Eve. After Layla missed a crossbody, Eve planted her with the Heart Breaker to get the victory.
- Eve rolled out of the ring as she was handed back her Divas Championship, raising it high in the air. No matter what everyone think of her, Eve has certainly proven herself to be the top Diva in the WWE as she reigns supreme as the Divas Champion.
- Backstage, CM Punk was shown in his locker room warming up for tonight's main event. Soon, John Cena walked into the room. "I'm not going to ask for an apology because I know you were just looking out for yourself," said Cena. "Good. Because I was never going to apologize to you. I had every reason to be on edge, and I still am. Even if you're not out to get me fired, you are out to prevent me from becoming WWE Champion again. The world has seen enough of you at the top. Now it's time for me to reclaim my spot as not only the WWE Champion, but the Best in the World." Punk turned away from Cena, continuing to prepare for their huge match tonight.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning to Monday Night RAW, a still shot of the WWE.com homepage was shown, featuring the image of CM Punk holding John Laurinaitis on his shoulders. The encore presentation of Extreme Rules airs all week long on pay-per-view.
- WWE CONTRACT VS. MITB CONTRACT - DOLPH ZIGGLER DEF. ROB VAN DAM: A very nice bout here between two men who were anxious to settle their differences. And with two contracts on the line, those differences were sure to be settled one way or another. As Van Dam was going for the Five Star Frog Splash, Ziggler got his knees up in time. As RVD held his ribs in pain, Dolph planted him with the Zig Zag to get the victory.
- Ziggler was handed his Money In The Bank contract as he clutched it to his chest, staring down at Van Dam. Ziggler mocked him, going his signature thumb taunt before slicking his hair back. While Dolph Ziggler remains Mr. Money In The Bank, Rob Van Dam's WWE contract has been terminated.
- Backstage, new United States Champion Evan Bourne was shown in his locker room as he, Christian, and Heath Slater all celebrated his title victory. "This calls for some tunes, baby! I'm gonna get my guitar!" said Slater. After he left, Bourne said he was going to go call Johnny. "Watch my title," asked Bourne to Christian. After Bourne left, Christian was all alone in the room. He looked down at the United States Championship, picking it up and starting at it for a bit. The joyful look on Christian's face was gone as he now looked focused.
- On split screen, John Cena and CM Punk were shown heading down to the ring. They meet one on one with a spot in the WWE Championship match at Over The Limit on the line, next!
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- A promo was shown for Over The Limit, live Sunday May 20th, only on pay-per-view.
- JOHN CENA VS. CM PUNK ENDS IN A DOUBLE DQ: An incredible main event bout between, quite possibly, the biggest rivals of this generation. With a WWE Championship match on the line, these two took it to each other like they have many times in the past. Tons of nearfalls that kept the audience on edge. After a double clothesline, both Punk and Cena remained on the mat for a bit. As they stirred to their feet, they were attacked by WWE Champion Wade Barrett and The Miz, forcing the official to call for the bell.
- The audience in Dayton showered both Barrett and Miz with boos as they continued to attack Cena and Punk, Barrett laying them both out with shots from the title to the skull. Miz and Barrett shook hands, assuming that they had eliminated the competition and their one on one match was back on. As they headed up the entrance ramp, the theme of Ric Flair hit as the new RAW General Manager made his way out to the stage for a huge announcement. "At Over The Limit, Wade Barrett will defend the WWE Championship against The Miz, John Cena, and CM Punk in a Fatal Four Way match!" The audience erupted as Barrett and Miz were livid. Punk and Cena stirred to their feet in the ring as they were extremely satisfied with the announcement.

Miz for WWE champ!!! Kinda predicted Flair to be GM. Johnny shall be missed Christian should have beat Kofi to continue a feud unless you have other plans for them. That promo has to be for Slater who else says ain't. Del Rio got a huge win and then you put him in a squash match? I don't think Brodus could flip his car. Maybe Ryder will get pushed to the main event. Maybe. Otunga and R-Truth were NXT rookie/pro could they form another alliance?Layla and Eve same old same old. So Christian going for U.S. title? So Kofi is doing what now?Oh yeah RVD never did fit in so good job of getting rid of him. Expected a fatal four match put PLEASE BOOK MIZ TO WIN!!!!

Need some serious drop shadow on that Raw logo, boiiiiiii. Nice to see that old bastard, Ric Flair back on the show, as much as I think he's a twat. He's an obvious choice of General Manager for Raw with Johnny Ace gone now. Huge Main Event set and definitely necessary since Wade Barrett and The Miz wouldn't have been that interesting on its own. A good victory for Kofi Kingston to kick off the show, but it leaves me wondering where Christian goes from here. Bray Wyatt idea clearly stolen from me even though I did it after you, kthx. This Dolph Ziggler/Rob Van Dam situation is all too familiar, virtually duplicate of Ziggler/Jericho in real life, and it's obvious Ziggler is taking the victory. Happy to see Alberto Del Rio with a victory, even at the expense of poor Yoshi Tatsu. I'm pleasantly surprised to see you continue the feud with Brodus Clay, hope Clay pulls off a big win over Del Rio in the next instalment. Definitely a big fan of the United States Championship finally leaving Zack Ryder, and all the better to have it go to Evan Bourne. I am really digging his heel character, you've pulled it off well. These R-Truth segments are just baffling me, lmao. Obvious victory for Eve here after only winning her Divas Championship 24 hours ago; I hope she has a lengthy reign. As predicted, Dolph Ziggler defeats Rob Van Dam for the second night in a row. As I mentioned, all too similar to the feud with Chris Jericho for me, thought you might have come up with a different approach. Potential face turn for Christian? I think so. A double disqualification as only a John Cena/CM Punk match can end, perfect to lead into a big Fatal 4-Way match. I'm fully expecting Wade Barrett to leave with the WWE Championship still intact though. A good show, Ryan.

Nice opening segment with Cole reading off Johnny's last command. WOO! The Naytchaaa boyy! Funny. Somebody else just had Ric Flair return in a diary. I don't remember who though. Oh well. Good decision with adding in another guy into the match, Barrett versus Miz would be terrible as a feud on it's own. Nice little backstage segment, I can see Flair getting beat the crap out of by People Power some day. Good opening contest match with Kingston getting the victory over Christian. I'm not sure what you're going to go forward with though with Captain Charisma. LOL. Space mountain! WOOOOOOOOOOOOO! A nice decision to have Ziggler versus Flair later on, made me immediately think of Ziggler versus Jericho though. I expect RVD to lose. Del Rio getting the win over Tatsu. Gee. I'm so shocked. What I actually am shocked at, though, is Clay turning the car over. Nice, even though I am not the biggest Clay fan. Evan Bourne winning the United States Championship is a good move. I still dig his heel character, too. R-Truth. What the . Maybe he should get Saul Goodman. BETTER CALL SAUL. Eve retaining the title is a good an obvious move. She's hotter. Ziggler finishing off RVD is no surprise. But, I suppose it's good. Christian staring at the title? Uh-huh. Not that surprising of a finish, and not that surprising of a call to go with a fatal four way. But definitely a good move. A good show, the only thing I didn't care for was too much Flair, despite it being his first night as GM.

RAW: - I was expecting a big opening now that big Johnny has been ousted, and you delivered. Flair as the general manager seemed like a fairly obvious choice, but that doesn't detract from it being the right choice. Really looking forward to see what you do with him. - Good to see The Miz back and being put straight into the WWE Championship hunt. Makes a lot of sense to add in a third man since a feud between Barrett and Miz as heels just wouldn't work. I've got a feeling that the main event is going to end in a way to add both Cena and Punk in, though I'm really disappointed that we're still not getting a Barrett / Punk pay per view rematch, just cheapens Barrett's title reign for me. - The Flair / People Power segment would come across well on TV, I'm really hoping you do the smart thing and put the title on Bourne here. - Big win for Kofi Kingston here and the it was the right move to put him over. Christian's at an awkward point in his career because he could still work as a main eventer if booked properly, but he also runs the risk of just being a gate keeper, hopefully you go for the former. - Funny little Flair / Eve segment, starting to worry you're going to overkill it on the Flair segments though. - Bray Wyatt is going to lead us to the promised land and I can't wait baby. - Oh look, another Flair segment. Not sure on you using the contract vs. contract thing, especially with Van Dam since he's been back what, four months? Bizarre. - Obvious Del Rio win is obvious, but at least you're continuing with his feud with Brodus after the mistake of having Del Rio go over at Extreme Rules. - Great win for Evan Bourne here, it was the perfect time to pull the trigger on his title run. For me Bourne is one of the highlights of this diary because it demonstrates the perfect way to use a turn to revitalize a midcard-at-best career. - Good win for Eve, nothing more, nothing less. - Ziggler had to go over in this match, but I still don't get the logic of having Van Dam come back and leave four to five months later after such an uneventful run. I wasn't sold on him being back, but it feels like a massive waste of talent. - A Christian face turn in the pipeline, that could be cool. - A big match to end the first edition of Flair's run, though the finish seemed a little signposted for me, and the fatal four way was a pretty obvious result. Still, it's a big match and while Barrett is obviously not going to lose the title this early into the run it will add some credence to his run. - Solid show overall, possibly a little bit too much Flair but it was his big return so I can give a pass on that. Keep it up.

| WWE NXT | May 2nd, 2012 | Winter Park, FL |
- Following the opening video package, the theme of Dusty Rhodes hit immediately as the Interim General Manager made his way out to the stage. William Regal and Byron Saxton welcomed everyone to WWE NXT, and the day has finally arrived. Two weeks ago, Dusty stated that he would have a major announcement on May 2nd. A podium was shown with a large cloth over it as Dusty approached hit. He welcomed everyone to NXT, saying that everyone watching here in Full Sail University and around the world will be a part of history tonight. "Now before I get to my major announcement, I have another announcement to make. I would like to introduce everyone to my assistant General Manager, Summer Rae!" Summer made her way out to the stage, receiving a few whistles from some of the men in the audience. Dusty reminded everyone that two weeks ago, he said that there would be major announcement tonight. "Miss Rae, would you do the honors?" Summer removed the cloth from the podium, revealing a championship title. "Ladies and gentlemen, here is your first look at the NXT Championship!" The audience popped as cameras focused on the championship. "These past two weeks, I have watched and observed the NXT talent heavily, and have made a few difficult decisions. To determine who will have the honor of being the first superstar to wear this title, we will have an 8-Man Tournament!" Summer Rae had a clipboard with the names of the 8 participants, reading them off. "Alex Riley, Seth Rollins, Damien Sandow, Richie Steamboat, JTG, Mason Ryan, Corey Graves, and Kassius Ohno!" Dusty said that if your name was called, pat yourself on the back because that means you rose above everyone else. "And we're not going to wast any time. This tournament is getting underway right now!" The audience gave Dusty another round of applause before the theme of Alex Riley hit. He made his way out to the stage, staring at the NXT Championship on the podium. He marched down to the ring, ready to kick things off in the NXT Championship Tournament, next!
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning to WWE NXT, Alex Riley was shown in the ring, ready to compete in the first match of the NXT Championship Tournament. The brackets for the tournament were shown as Regal noted that we will also see Seth Rollins vs. Mason Ryan tonight as the second of four quarter finals matches. Corey Graves was out next, getting a good look at the gold before heading down to the ring.
- NXT CHAMPIONSHIP QUARTER FINALS - ALEX RILEY DEF. COREY GRAVES: A very good, unique bout to kick off both NXT and the NXT Championship Tournament. As Graves was going for a Superkick, Riley caught his boot and spun him around. A-Ry hoisted Graves up to his shoulders, planting him with the TKO to get the victory and advance.
- The audience popped as Riley stood to his feet, raising his arms in victory. A banner appeared on the screen, announcing that Riley would be moving on to the Semi-Finals. And according to the brackets, he'll be going up against the winner of the match next week between Kassius Ohno and JTG.
- Backstage, Corey Graves was shown walking through the curtain after a tough loss and elimination from the NXT Championship Tournament. He was met by his tag team partner, Jake Carter. "I guess we know who should've been in the tournament," said Carter. Graves told him that the steps are still there for him to follow on his way to the top of NXT. "Tonight was just a misstep, but at least I was in the tournament." Carter told Graves that he may have been in the tournament, but he's going to prove right now why he should've had that spot. Because not only would have made it past the first round, he would won the whole thing. "But of course, that can't happen. And it's all because of Bo Rotundo. But I'm going to take care of country boy right now."
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- At this time, the RAW Rebound was shown. We learned that prior to his forced departure from WWE, John Laurinaitis made one final act as RAW General Manager. That act turned out to be naming The Miz as the new No.1 Contender for the WWE Championship. However, Miz's celebration was short-lived by the arrival of the new General Manager, Ric Flair. Flair would announce a match between John Cena and CM Punk, with the winner also getting a title shot. The Miz and WWE Champion Wade Barrett would interrupt that match, taking out both Punk and Cena in an attempt to eliminate their competition. Flair wouldn't allow the two of them to have their way, announcing a Fatal Four Way match for the WWE Title at Over The Limit.
- BO ROTUNDO DEF. JAKE CARTER: With both men seemingly being the reason for one another's exclusion from the NXT Championship Tournament, they were definitely looking to do more than just get a victory. After Rotundo slid off of Carter during a suplex attempt, he hit a Spear to get the victory.
- Full Sail University gave Rotundo a nice ovation for his victory as he headed up the entrance ramp. Suddenly, he was attacked from behind by Carter. Furious over this loss, he planted Rotundo with an Inverted DDT onto the stage. Jake Carter stool tall over Bo, getting the last laugh despite not getting the victory.
- A graphic was shown for tonight's main event. In another Quarter-Finals match in the NXT Championship Tournament, Seth Rollins goes one on one with Mason Ryan.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning to WWE NXT, William Regal and Byron Saxton discussed the NXT Championship Tournament as we have already seen Alex Riley defeat Corey Graves to advance to the Semi-Finals. Later on tonight, Seth Rollins and Mason Ryan will attempt to do the same. But next week, the Quarter-Finals matches continue as Kassius Ohno battles JTG, and Richie Steamboat goes up against Damien Sandow.
- AUDREY MARIE DEF. CAYLEE TURNER: A decent Divas bout here with Audrey getting her chance to showcase herself after suffering a loss to Sofia Cortez last week. And much like last week, midway through the match, cameras showed the mysterious woman backstage on a staircase once again. The "Enchanting Raven-Haired Lady," as Regal stated, simply watched the match once again. Soon, Audrey was able to finish off Caylee with the Round Up to get the win.
- Audrey was ecstatic following the match, picking up her first victory on NXT. We saw the mysterious pale woman backstage one more time, once again leaving up the staircase. We still have no clue who she is or what her intentions are, but we do know that Audrey Marie continues to impress everyone here on NXT.
- Backstage, Seth Rollins was shown making his way down to the ring. His toughest challenge awaits him as he competes against Mason Ryan in an NXT Championship Quarter-Finals match, next!
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- A promo was shown for WWE Over The Limit, live Sunday May 20th, on pay per view.
- NXT CHAMPIONSHIP QUARTER-FINALS - SETH ROLLINS DEF. MASON RYAN: A solid tournament bout to close out tonight's show. Throughout much of the match, Rollins looked helpless as Mason took control. At several points, it looked like the Welsh Mammoth could have gotten the victory. But it was his mistakes that allowed Rollins to remain in the match. Rollins ascended to the top turnbuckle, but couldn't hit whatever he was attempting as Mason stopped him. He stepped onto the bottom rope, but Rollins was able to fend him off with a few headbutts. As Mason stirred to his feet, Rollins hit a top rope Blackout, covering him to pick up the victory.
- Full Sail University erupted as Rollins was declared the winner, himself surprised at the result. He celebrated extensively as the updated brackets were shown, placing him in the Semi-Finals. Rollins now has to look ahead as he will be meeting either Damien Sandow or Richie Steamboat. But until then, Rollins can celebrate as he is one step closer to making history as the first ever NXT Champion.

WWE Extreme Rules: Sunday 29th April 2012...Good use of the YouTube Pre-Show to determine who gains the numbers advantage in the War Games match later on tonight. However, logic always says that the heels gain the unfair/fair advantage, so Heath Slater's win over David Otunga was expected. Good promo to brief up the scenario for tonight's highly anticipated main event. It could go either way, although I'm thinking Team Punk will end up victorious. Good call for the WWE Tag Team Championship Turmoil match to open up the show, with Justin Gabriel and Tyson Kidd getting a good opening stretch win against Primo and Epico, although I'd imagine that it could potentially deflate a lively crowd. Up next, good establishment act for the Prime Time Players to defeat Gabriel and Kidd, also defeating the comedic combo of Santino Marella and Derrick Bateman. Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara debuting as a tag team? Cool, but in this case, they HAVE to win in order to be credible. Expected win against the Prime Time Players, leaving us to the final stretch with the cheap last-call WWE Tag Team Champions, Ted Dibiase and Michael McGillicutty. Not sure about the finish...it sort of lost the newly found credibility that Mysterio and Cara have. But nonetheless, got McGillicutty and Dibiase over, but they really need a credible win against a team like Mysterio and Cara. Hmm, not sure about having this storyline progressing match follow, considering that it was just another 'Duchess of Queensbury Rules rehash' match to establish Antonio Cesaro as the WWE Intercontinental Champion. Good move, don't get me wrong, but it should've gone on later. Another heel title defense, I can imagine there'll be a rematch and hell to pay for Cesaro from Sheamus, though. Even if Sheamus doesn't regain the belt (which he shouldn't). Cool progressional segments to promote the main event with John Cena and Kofi Kingston. Decent match between Dolph Ziggler and Rob Van Dam in this Tables match, even though it's the least interesting match of the night in my mind. The chair was a bit overkill on a card like this, I think. A Chair match would've been cooler and more suitable, if you were going for that approach. Alright, awesome Ironman match to get things cooking in the first-hour main event between Chris Jericho and Daniel Bryan. I think this match and the Tables match were those that probably would get the crowd cooking, over everything else. Daniel Bryan getting the win was the right call to make, retaining the World Heavyweight Championship. Wow, Bryan snapped? Hopefully you don't pull the trigger so soon on a heel turn, but I liked it a lot, a new, original dimension for Bryan with his aggressive character. Bloodied Jericho though, hmm. Only personal complaint, is that the first hour was all about heels winning matches (aside from Bryan, and even he drew heel tendencies in the closing moments). I can't help but think you should have either switched the card up or had a face win. Alberto Del Rio winning against Brodus Clay was expected to re-enhance Del Rio following the loss at WrestleMania XXVIII. Where both of these men go from here, who knows. Cena and Zack Ryder's exchange was neat. Up next, an awesome Last Man Standing match with our first real rivalry featured between Randy Orton and Dean Ambrose in the second hour main event. Orton winning was the right call, I hate to see this rivalry end though. Hopefully Ambrose goes on to better things, although I expect that anyway. Eve winning the WWE Divas Championship tournament was cool, decent Lumberjills match against Layla. I hope Eve has a lengthy, solid reign. And now it's time for the War Games match. Great progression with CM Punk having to go the length with Evan Bourne...and Tensai? Ouch, that's gotta suck. I think that the match was amazingly written, with the star power equalled out well as the match progressed, but that finish was remarkable and redeemed John Cena in a response from WrestleMania XXVIII's conclusion. It sort of makes the whole point of John Laurinaitis' inclusion at WrestleMania dull though; it ruined a potentially perfect show at Mania in retrospect. CM Punk pinning Wade Barrett has to mean we're going to see a rematch for the WWE Championship down the road, surely. Overall, an awesome, feel-good show with a few booking decisions, but it was memorable, you've done an amazing job in keeping things interesting following WrestleMania. Good stuff!

You're a poo head for not replying to Hell in a Cell yet. Sort yourself out. I'm trying to get into NXT as I hope to include it in my diary later down the line when I can be bothered. The Tournament for the title is the best way to go, always the right way to decide a Championship. I wonder if Seth Rollins will take the belt here as well? Big win for Alex Riley here, I think NXT would be the perfect place for him to shine, but somehow I don't see him leaving as Champion. Bo Rotundo over Jake Carter? I far prefer Carter, but it makes sense with the segment prior. If there is anything worse than a Divas match, it's an NXT Divas match, it's like the worthless of the worthless. But that's just my view. Seth Rollins over Mason Ryan is huge, and I fully expect Seth Rollins to either win the tournament or at least make the finals. He's one of the best on the roster for sure. A nice edition of NXT-- now sort your ing act out with dem replies.

| Friday Night SmackDown! | May 4th, 2012 | Toledo, OH |

WWE Superstars 5/4 Taping Results Hunico def. Yoshi Tatsu Justin Gabriel def. Jinder Mahal - Following the intro and pyro display, cameras scanned the audience here in Toledo as the commentary unit of Michael Cole, Josh Mathews, and Booker T welcomed everyone to Friday Night SmackDown! We're just five days removed from an unbelievable Extreme Rules event, which saw Daniel Bryan retain the World Heavyweight Championship in a stunning fashion. We will hear from Bryan on his actions later tonight, but we'll also find out who is in next line for a shot at him. Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes, Kane, and Chris Jericho all battle it out in a Fatal Four Way Elimination match. The winner will meet Bryan for the gold in three weeks at Over The Limit!
- The theme of Antonio Cesaro hit as the Intercontinental Champion made his way out to a reception of mostly boos. The commentators addressed Cesaro's successful title defense against Sheamus this past Sunday, with the "Swiss Rules" costing the Great White the title. Cesaro grabbed a microphone, saying that this past Sunday was a night of triumph. Not only did he defeat that embarrassment of a competitor, Sheamus, but he also proved once and for all that he is of a superior breed here in the WWE. The world witnessed Swiss Rules unfold before their eyes, and saw how real competitors and real fighters step into the squared circle. "So ladies and gentlemen, let's hear it for me! Still you Intercontinental Champion, Antonio Cesaro!" The audience continued to boo Cesaro before he addressed one more thing. "Michael Cole, please enter the ring." Cole, who was still bruised from Sheamus' Brogue Kick, stood up from his chair at the announce table and stepped into the ring. "Cole, I saw what Sheamus did to you. And we all know that that was nothing more than an act of shameful, un-sportsman like conduct. Sheamus couldn't accept defeat like a man and took out his frustrations on you, someone who was simply doing their job." Cole thanked Cesaro for standing up for him, saying that he's already in the process of speaking to David Otunga about a potential lawsuit against Sheamus.
- Before this debacle could continue, SmackDown General Manager Teddy Long made his way out to the stage. He told Cesaro that he was right about one thing. He is still the Intercontinental Champion. "But I'm not sure if you should be." The audience agreed with Teddy as Cesaro looked puzzled. "Antonio, I did a bit of research a few nights ago, and could not find one trace of your so called 'Swiss Rules.' Which made me believe that those rules you implemented were not legitimate." Cesaro told Teddy that he should be ashamed of himself. Questioning the integrity of a man of his caliber should be a crime in these states. "Besides, what proof do you have that I fabricated the rules?" asked the Intercontinental Champion. Teddy said that the proof lies in something else that was not legitimate, the official. "The man who called the match at Extreme Rules was not a signed WWE official. And he already confirmed to me that your rules were indeed false!" The audience popped as Cesaro knew that he had been caught. "Antonio, I could have you stripped of the Intercontinental Championship for such behavior, but I won't. Instead, I've granted Sheamus another rematch for the title at Over The Limit! And this time, it will be him who chooses the stipulation!" Cesaro was irate, telling Teddy that he can't treat him that way. "And one more thing. Sheamus had requested a special match tonight. And since I feel he deserves it, he will get it. So tonight, in that very ring, Sheamus will go one on one.......with Michael Cole!" The audience erupted as Cole's eyes widened to the point where they nearly popped out of his sockets. Teddy made his way to the back, Cesaro still fuming and Cole still almost as pale as the man he meets tonight, Sheamus.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning to SmackDown, a recap of the opening segment was shown as SmackDown General Manager Teddy Long made two huge announcements. As punishment for his fabrication of the rules in the Swiss Rules match, Antonio Cesaro will defend the Intercontinental Championship against Sheamus at Over The Limit. And this time, the Great White will be allowed to choose the stipulation. Also, the man who read off the rules, Michael Cole, must meet Sheamus one on one in a match tonight.
- REY MYSTERIO AND SIN CARA DEF. PRIME TIME PLAYERS: The two teams who impressed the most last Sunday at Extreme Rules went at it in a very exciting opening contest. With a potential future WWE Tag Team Championship match on the line, Mysterio and Cara were able to seize the opportunity, Rey pinning Young after a 619 and the follow-up Splash.
- The audience popped as Mysterio and Cara raised one another's arms, celebrating their victory. Suddenly, the theme of Ted DiBiase and Michael McGillicutty hit as the WWE Tag Team Champions made their way out to the stage. "Congratulations, you two. It's just too bad you couldn't get the job done on Sunday," said McGillicutty. Mysterio said that he and Sin Cara would and should be the WWE Tag Team Champions right now had it not been for a bit of cheating on the champions' part. "Call it what you want, Rey. We're still standing here as the champions, aren't we?" asked McGillicutty. Sin Cara took the microphone, saying something in Spanish. "I agree," said Mysterio. "What Sin Cara said is that we proved on Sunday and tonight why we should be next in line for a shot at the titles. So if you two want to solidify your status as champions, you'll put the title on the line at Over The Limit." The audience popped as DiBiase and McGillicutty quickly told them to quiet down. "Tell you what. Next week, one of you two against one of us. You win, you get your title shot at Over The Limit. We win, numero zero title shots." Mysterio and Cara nodded their heads in approval as DiBiase and McGillicutty made their way to the back.
- Backstage, Michael Cole was shown in Antonio Cesaro's locker room, telling the Intercontinental Champion that none of this was right. "I mean, I had nothing to do with this. You're the one who fabricated the rules. I had no idea! I was just doing what you asked me!" said Cole frantically. "What did you just say?" asked Cesaro. "Are you also questioning my integrity. You think I made up a few rules to give me an advantage?" Cole tried to take his words back, but Cesaro claimed that the damage had already been done. "You know what, Cole? You're on your own tonight." Cesaro pushed Cole out of his locker room, leaving him all alone tonight against Sheamus.
- A graphic was shown for tonight's main event. Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes, Kane, and Chris Jericho all compete in a Fatal Four Way Elimination match. The winner will meet Daniel Bryan for the World Heavyweight Championship at Over The Limit.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning to SmackDown, Matt Striker was shown backstage standing by with Chris Jericho. Y2J received a mixed reaction as Striker asked him for his thoughts on Daniel Bryan's attack at Extreme Rules. "You see this?" Jericho said while pointing to the stitches on his forehead. "I saw another side of Daniel Bryan at Extreme Rules, and I'm generally not mad because it reminded me of myself. It reminded me of the lengths that I would go the retain my championship. But just because I understand Bryan doesn't mean I'm going to let this go. I still crave the World Heavyweight Championship, and will regain it at Over The Limit after I am declared the No.1 Contender tonight."
- RYBACK DEF. STEPHEN STEWART: For the second week in a row, a local talent was given the impossible task of defeating Ryback. The monster continued to look very impressive, tearing right through Stewart and finishing him off with Shell Shock to pick up the victory.
- Ryback stood to his feet after scoring his second victory on SmackDown, continuing to open the eyes of everyone in the WWE Universe. "Feed me more!" he shouted repeatedly as some of the audience members joined him in the chant.
- Backstage, Sheamus was shown making his way down to the ring. He gets a shot at revenge fr Extreme Rules as he meets Michael Cole, next!
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- A promo was shown for next Monday's edition of RAW. In his second week as General Manager, Ric Flair has announced a huge tag team match to take place. John Cena and CM Punk team up to take on The Miz and Mr. Money In The Bank, Dolph Ziggler. RAW, live next Monday on USA.
- SHEAMUS DEF. MICHAEL COLE: The Great White extracted his revenge here tonight, simply toying with Cole the whole match. After the first Brogue Kick, Sheamus covered Cole, only to raise his arm at two. He tried to stand Cole up, though he simply fell to the mat. Sheamus asked Booker T to come into the ring and hold him up for him. Booker was more than glad to do so, Sheamus hitting another Brogue Kick. At that moment, Intercontinental Champion Antonio Cesaro made his way out to the stage. Staring at Cesaro the entire time, Sheamus planted Cole with White Noise, finally covering him to get the victory.
- The audience popped as Sheamus stood to his feet, raising his arms in victory as the official tended to Cole. Cesaro was going to leave to the back until Sheamus grabbed a microphone. "Cesaro, that was pretty clever what you did at Extreme Rules. It's just too bad your 'rules' are coming back to bite you in the arse. You see, I had to step into your world. And it was filled with nothing but bogus rules. At Over The Limit, you're going to step into my world, where there are no rules. Cesaro, me and you for the Intercontinental Championship in a Belfast Brawl!" Cesaro was livid, shouting at Sheamus that he can't do that. However, he was granted the authority by Teddy Long to name the stipulation. At Over The Limit, Antonio Cesaro must step into a world with no rules. A Belfast Brawl against Sheamus for the Intercontinental Championship.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning to SmackDown, General Manager Teddy Long was shown in his office, happy with the result of the previous match and Sheamus' announcement for Over The Limit. Suddenly, Teddy's satisfied expression turned to one of fear as Kane walked into the room. "I said I wanted the Big Show. And the one time he's here, you ban me from the arena. So where is he?" screeched Kane. Teddy said that he's not allowing either Kane or Show to come anywhere near one another for fear of what may happen? "What may happen? Do you know what will happen? I will eviscerate the Big Show! Even if I am named the No.1 Contender tonight, I still expect you to give me Show!" Kane made his way out of the room, Teddy trying to catch his breath.
- Cutting to another camera, Kaitlyn was shown in the Divas locker room, reading the note from Johnny Curtis last week, when Alicia Fox walked in. "You've got to see this," said Fox as Kaitlyn followed her. What Fox showed her was a van in the parking lot, the side reading "Enter, Kaitlyn." "Is it too late to admit Curtis into a mental hospital?" she asked.
- AW SHOWCASE MATCH - DREW MCINTYRE DEF. EZEKIEL JACKSON: Prior to the match, AW cut a promo saying that every single member of the WWE roster has contacted his offices for a spot in his clientele. However, he will be choosing certain superstars to compete in matches that he will be scouting. In the first match, it was Drew McIntyre who picked up a victory after planting Ezekiel Jackson with a Future Shock DDT.
- Backstage, Randy Orton was shown in his locker room when Matt Striker walked in, asking for his thoughts on tonight's No.1 Contender's match. Orton said that when it comes to all three of his opponents tonight, he's very familiar with them. He's also very familiar with the World Heavyweight Championship. What he isn't familiar with is Daniel Bryan. However, he would love to get to know Bryan right before he takes his title. Slow clapping could be heard as Cody Rhodes entered the scene. "Yes, Randy. Because the world needs to sit through another abysmal championship reign of yours. I may be the only man in this match who has never been World Heavyweight Champion, but that will all change at Over The Limit. But first, I'm going to deal with you, Kane, and Jericho to get there." Orton told Cody that because of him, Dean Ambrose is watching this right now with a head bandage. "Don't think for a second that I won't do the same to you." Orton made his way out of the room as Cody stared at him.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning to Friday Night SmackDown, Josh Mathews and Booker T addressed Randy Orton's comments before the break about Dean Ambrose. For those who missed Extreme Rules, they missed an absolute war between Orton and Ambrose. In the end, it was punt kick into the ring post that allowed the Viper to claim victory. Ambrose was taken to a nearby medical facility and was diagnosed with severe head trauma, and it is unclear when or if we will ever see the psychotic superstar in the WWE again.
- The theme of Daniel Bryan hit as the World Heavyweight Champion made his way out to a mixed reaction from the audience here in Toledo. He grabbed a microphone, saying that he's received a lot of comments since Extreme Rules. Some good, but mostly negative. A lot of people believe that we saw a new Daniel Bryan at Extreme Rules. "What the world saw was a hungry Daniel Bryan. A man motivated to retain his title at all costs. But have no fear. Let the celebration begin because I am still your World Heavyweight Champion! Yes! Yes! Yes!" A surprising amount of boos were heard as Bryan continued his over the top celebration. "And I will still be your World Heavyweight Champion after Over The Limit because none of the four competitors in tonight's main event have what it takes to beat a man of my caliber. Because not only am I a great professional wrestler, I'm also a role model to children all over the world. I'm a vegan, and the world's best boyfriend. Speaking of which, I would like to invite AJ down to the ring." A few seconds later, AJ stepped through the curtain and made her way down to the ring. She was not in a celebratory mood after witnessing up close the actions of her boyfriend at Extreme Rules. "Sweetie, I know I scared you on Sunday with my behavior. And even though I believe I did nothing wrong, I know that's not what you want to hear. And I apologize for not only that, but everything I said to you before that may have hurt you. You've said you love me, and I appreciate that. So thank you, AJ." Her mood seemed to light up as she smiled at Daniel. "Do you forgive me?" asked the World Heavyweight Champion. "Yes," said AJ after a bit of silence. "Yes! Yes! Yes!" shouted Bryan. The two took seats at ringside as the main event is set to begin.
- A graphic was shown for the Fatal Four Way Elimination match with Randy Orton, Kane, Cody Rhodes, and Chris Jericho. The winner will meet Daniel Bryan for the World Heavyweight Championship at Over The Limit, next!
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- A promo was shown for WWE Over The Limit, live Sunday May 20th, only on pay per view.
- NO.1 CONTENDERS MATCH - RANDY ORTON DEF. CHRIS JERICHO, KANE, AND CODY RHODES: An incredible main event with the stakes as high as they could possibly be. Kane was the first of the four superstars to fall, receiving Beautiful Disaster, a Codebreaker, and an RKO all in that order prior to his elimination. Orton and Jericho battled for a bit before the Viper was struck with a Codebreaker. However, Orton rolled out of the ring, Jericho failing to capitalize instantly. Cody Rhodes snuck up behind Y2J, planting him with Cross Rhodes to eliminate him. Cody celebrated as if he had won the match, already pointing at Bryan and signalling for the title. When Cody turned around, he was hit with a Codebreaker! Jericho stared down at Cody for a bit, knowing that he will not be receiving another opportunity at the World Heavyweight Title because of him. Orton rolled back into the ring as Cody stirred to his feet. The two former Legacy members had an awesome back and forth, both men showing why they deserved to be the No.1 contender. After Cody missed Beautiful Disaster, Orton planted him with an RKO to finally get the victory.
- The crowd erupted as Orton stood to his feet, raising his arms in victory as a banner appeared to announce him as the new No.1 Contender for the World Heavyweight Championship. Daniel Bryan stood up from his seat at ringside, looking a bit concerned. Orton stepped onto the second rope, staring at Bryan as he motioned for the gold. Orton meets Daniel Bryan for the World Heavyweight Championship in three weeks at Over The Limit!

WWE Monday Night RAW: Monday 30th April 2012...David Otunga beating Curt Hawkins resets Otunga after losing to Heath Slater on the YouTube Pre-Show to Extreme Rules the night before. Santino Marella and Derrick Bateman got a good win against Primo and Epico, good showing. Good edition of WWE Superstars from the RAW side. Haha, Michael Cole issuing the letter about John Laurinaitis' last words as GM was nice. I like that Laurinaitis tried to swindle his way into deciding a number one contender to Wade Barrett's WWE Championship, but we all know that a heel vs heel main event just isn't going to happen. Good re-introduction for the Miz though, with his new look. Ric Flair as the new RAW General Manager? Pre-WWE/TNA lawsuit, I'm guessing. Great call to switch things up into a triple threat match, but John Cena against CM Punk? So much star power...on an episode of RAW? False finish, definitely. I enjoyed the segment with the ex-People Power faction being cleared out of Ric Flair's office, very nice touch. I'm wondering how long it will take for you to determine who faces Flair on pay-per-view or a RAW. Hopefully later on in the year, definitely. Kofi Kingston beating Christian was a solid opening contest, could give us a new feud for Christian to work with. It's a shame how low he's dropped since losing the World Heavyweight Championship. Flair and Eve's segment was also fun, really enjoying these GM segments. Hahah, Bray Wyatt, he crazy. Liked the write-up, very intriguing on how he comes in. Hopefully on RAW he doesn't become a one-trick pony and wind up on Superstars weekly. It's why I think maybe SmackDown would have been a better choice for the man. Dolph Ziggler against Rob Van Dam, WWE contract against Money in the Bank contract? Heheh, sly way to get RVD out. Alberto Del Rio beating Yoshi Tatsu; eh. Just like every post-pay-per-view edition of RAW, momentum to Del Rio. Brodus Clay's inclusion after the match was great and got him over greatly. I think this would have fared better as a promo than a match aftermath. Friday Night SmackDown sounds great already. Evan Bourne won the WWE United States Championship? I love it, although I would've killed for more of Zack Ryder as champ. I hope to see more from Ryder though, rather than sinking once again. Hopefully with Johnny gone, Evan Bourne can allow his character to evolve at long last. R-Truth is still in a wheelchair? Hilarious segment with the janitor, a face turn coming up maybe? Eve beating Layla was fine, a rematch from Extreme Rules. I wonder what's next for Eve as WWE Divas Champion. Cena and Punk tension was nice to see, I liked it. I suspect a rematch from last year's SummerSlam main event at this year's...if you can hold this on until August. I think that Dolph Ziggler and Rob Van Dam's match went on a bit late in the show, would've been best suited as first-hour main event given the circumstances. Great win to paint Ziggler as a potential main eventer, I like. Perhaps Over the Limit could be the night... I hope that the scene with Bourne, Heath Slater and Christian was a sign of Christian turning face and going after Bourne. I liked it! And lastly, as expected, good main event ended in interference. A fatal four-way at Over the Limit sounds awesome, although I'd have liked some more inclusion from Wade Barrett, being that he's the WWE Champion and could really use some more heel heat. Hopefully this brief partnership with the Miz doesn't last long, since they're going at it against each other at Over the Limit. A good fallout show, everything is turning into proportion.
WWE NXT: Wednesday 2nd May 2012...Alright, Dusty Rhodes introducing the NXT Championship is great, and I'm looking forward to seeing how this tournament goes down. Looking at the brackets, I could easily tell that Alex Riley, Kassius Ohno, Damien Sandow and Seth Rollins are going to advance into the semi-final round. Although it's highly possible that Richie Steamboat could get the win against Sandow, leading to a cool face vs face semi-final match. Alex Riley beating Corey Graves was expected, a good match to refuel Riley. I hope he remains an impact player here on NXT. Corey Graves and Jake Carter trying to one-up the other? Interesting, but I hope they remain as a team. Also hoping to see more WWE superstar appearances as the weeks progress. Bo Rotundo with the win is fine, surprised that he was neglected from the tournament. I guess we have some sort of gimmick for Carter now: easily dysfunctional. Audrey Marie with the win against Caylee Turner was fine, Audrey is very good in the ring for a Diva on NXT. I assume that the pale girl is Paige; awesome. And lastly, Seth Rollins beating the unstoppable Mason Ryan is great, and I could see Ryan costing Rollins a future match, or starting a feud. Overall, a decent episode of NXT with the NXT Championship making the show look a bit more prestigious. I could've gone for some advanced comments from Kassius Ohno, Damien Sandow or Richie Steamboat, though.
WWE Friday Night SmackDown: Friday 4th May 2012...Aw man, I liked the original graphic logos for RAW, NXT and SmackDown. Oh well. Hunico beating Yoshi Tatsu was fine, as was Justin Gabriel beating Jinder Mahal. If you want a real challenge, try and make Gabriel the next breakout star on SmackDown. Unfortunately for SmackDown's side of WWE Superstars, this was nothing new. Good call to have Antonio Cesaro start things off, giving the new WWE Intercontinental Champion some additional heat. I loved the feature with Michael Cole too. Theodore Long was late to the game, having not researched into Swiss Rules before Extreme Rules went down. Not an official referee? Brad Maddox alert~! A rematch at Over the Limit sounds good to me! I can't see Sheamus coming out victorious, though. Hot opening contest with Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara getting a win over the Prime Time Players, but despite Mysterio and Cara needing establishment following their first official match as a team at Extreme Rules, Darren Young and Titus O'Neil were misused here. I think if Mysterio and Cara beat Primo and Epico, it would have been better. The Players have seemingly already been placed under the rug for now. Ted Dibiase and Michael McGillicutty with mic time? Wow! A WWE Tag Team Championship match announced for Over the Limit sounds cool, although I'd have given it an extra week of build before announcing. I understand how short the time length is between Over the Limit and Extreme Rules, but you could pace things out a bit more, me thinks. Hoping that McGillicutty and Dibiase don't release the titles yet, either. Cole being shoved into heel territory again tonight is nice, haha, Cesaro leaving Cole high-and-dry. However, I see Cesaro making the sneak attack later on. Chris Jericho possibly turning face soon? I like the sound of that. Hopefully Bryan's World Heavyweight Championship reign brings intrigue back to the title through awesome matches. Ryback with the win, alright. Sheamus beating Michael Cole cleanly was unexpected, Cesaro rather watching is neat. A Belfast Brawl at Over the Limit? Every pay-per-view has to have a gimmick! Good use of European/United Kingdom-gimmicked matches in this feud. Especially over the WWE Intercontinental Championship, haha. I assume that Kane against Big Show is on the table for Over the Limit, eh. Hahah, AW Showcase. Good, expected win for Drew McIntyre against Ezekiel Jackson, hopefully he builds a faction...Heath Slater's resort!? Cody Rhodes interrupting Randy Orton was cool, speaking of which, where is Dean Ambrose? Daniel Bryan's promo was great, setting the scene for our upcoming elimination four-corner main event. And lastly, a solid main event with Randy Orton picking up the win. However, I guess that Daniel Bryan's heel turn is inevitably near, eh. Overall, a good show with some interesting outcomes and progressions. Slow down on announcing matches for Over the Limit though! Give the audience a reason to tune in eery week, to see more matches made throughout the weeks rather than all of a sudden on two shows! Good work.

| Monday Night RAW | May 7th, 2012 | Greensboro, SC |
WWE Superstars 5/10 Taping Results Kelly Kelly def. Maxine Santino Marella, Derrick Bateman, and The Usos def. Curt Hawkins, Tyler Reks, Primo, and Epico
- Following the intro and pyro display, the commentary team of Michael Cole and Jerry "The King" Lawler welcomed everyone to Monday Night RAW! In tonight's main event, a huge tag team match is set as John Cena and CM Punk take on The Miz and Mr. Money In The Bank, Dolph Ziggler. Along with that, Cole will conduct an interview in the ring between World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton, 13 days before they meet at Over The Limit for the title. All that and more on RAW!
- The theme of Wade Barrett hit to a massively negative reaction from the audience in Greensboro. The WWE Champion made his way down to the ring, not in a good mood after Ric Flair's announcement last week that he will be defending his title in a Fatal Four Way match at Over The Limit. Barrett said that since moving to RAW after his victory in the Royal Rumble match, he felt that he was finally receiving the respect that a man of his caliber deserves. And it was all because RAW was under the command of John Laurinaitis, a true leader who knew what he was doing. Now, we have Ric Flair roaming around the backstage area, calling himself the new General Manager. "The problem is that Flair has no clue to control his own life, let alone a globally televised show. Because it is downright unfair that at Over The Limit, I don't have to worry about one or two challengers. I have to worry about three other competitors gunning for my championship. To add to that, I don't even have to be involved in the decision to lose the WWE Championship. Only an imbecile like Flair would allow my championship to be in jeopardy like this-"
- Suddenly, Barrett was cut off by the arrival of Mr. Money In The Bank, Dolph Ziggler. He made his way down to the ring, grabbing a microphone as he stood face to face with the WWE Champion. He told Barrett that he may as well continue to whine and complain about his treatment because it's only going to get worse. "You're saying that you have to worry about three men gunning for your WWE Championship. That's where you're wrong, Wade. You have a fourth. And unlike Cena, Punk, and Miz, you don't have to worry about him at Over The Limit. Instead, you have to worry about him for the next 335 days. Because at any moment over that time period, I could swing into the championship picture. Just like how I steal the show every damn night, I could steal your WWE Championship with one cash-in."
- As Barrett and Ziggler had their eyes glued on one another, new RAW General Manager Ric Flair made his way out to a huge ovation. He asked for Barrett and Ziggler to cool down because he isn't going to let any fireworks set off just yet. "Dolph, you know you've got a big tag team main event match, so I suggest that you go to the back and get ready for it." Ziggler made his way out of the room, still smiling as he knew that he had accomplished his job of getting under Wade Barrett's skin. "Champ, I do appreciate hearing your opinion of the Fatal Four Way match at Over The Limit. But what I don't appreciate is your whining. I will not have that kind of attitude on my roster, especially from the WWE Champion. Stay in the ring, because you're in action right now." As Flair was leaving, the theme of Kofi Kingston hit as he made his way out to the stage. Barrett handed his WWE Championship to one of the workers at ringside, getting ready to compete in the opening bout on RAW.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- WWE CHAMPION WADE BARRETT DEF. KOFI KINGSTON: A very good bout to kick things off for Monday Night RAW. Kofi almost scored the huge victory with Trouble In Paradise, but Barrett caught him and countered it into Wasteland to get the win.
- The audience booed as Barrett stood to his feet, taking back his WWE Championship as he raised it high in the air. The English Brawler made his way up the entrance ramp, satisfied with his victory, but not with the fact that he must defend the gold against three other men in two weeks at Over The Limit.
- In the parking lot area, Brodus Clay was shown arriving to the arena as he exited his car. As he was walking, he was met by Ricardo Rodriguez, who looked a bit frightened. When Brodus asked what he wanted, Ricardo said that he had a message from Alberto Del Rio. Brodus grabbed Ricardo by his collar, saying that he has a message for Del Rio. "Last week, it was his precious car. Next time, it's going to be his precious head." Suddenly, Brodus was attacked from behind by Del Rio. He stomped away on the Funkasaurus before tossing him into the door of his car. With Brodus down, Del Rio and Ricardo attempted to toss his car over onto him. Several officials entered the scene to restrain Del Rio, also tending to the downed Clay.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- At this time, another one of the mysterious vignettes aired. "All of these newfangled internet contraptions...so worthless. Follow this, like that....I don't need any of it to know where my people are. My people are at my side at all times! And I take care of them as if they're my own children....because in a way, they are. I take their hands and show them the path to a better life! A life where their issues are non-existent. No people to boss them around and tell them what to do.......only Bray Wyatt to tell them were to go. Tiiiiiime is on my siiiiiide."
- Returning to Monday Night RAW, new General Manager Ric Flair was shown walking down a hallway, eventually arriving at the locker room of Christian and the new United States Champion, Evan Bourne. Flair congratulated Bourne on his title victory, saying that John Laurinaitis would be proud. "But wait, Johnny isn't here anymore. So guess what? You're not getting any shortcuts as champion, Evan. I just wanted to inform you that Zack Ryder will be invoking his rematch clause at Over The Limit." Bourne was a bit bothered, but ultimately said that he beat Ryder once, so he'll have no problem doing it again on pay-per-view. Before Flair left, he told Christian that he should probably be getting ready. Because he'll be taking on Ryder tonight.
- DIVAS CHAMPION EVE DEF. KAITLYN: A solid Divas match here as the new champion Eve was looking to continue wave of momentum, while Kaitlyn was looking to shock the world with a huge victory. The latter failed to happen as Eve hit the Heart Breaker onto Kaitlyn to score the victory.
- Eve was all smiles as she was handed back her Divas Championship, raising it high in the air. Before she could leave the ring, the theme of Beth Phoenix hit as the Glamazon marched down to the ring. Beth, who we haven't seen since the night after WrestleMania when she was barred entry into the tournament, grabbed a microphone and got in Eve's face. She said that for weeks now, she has had to sit back and watch the rest of the Divas locker room get the opportunity that was wrongfully taken from her. "But now that the little tournament is over, I'm back in the picture. Eve, I'm making this clear right now. I want my rightful shot at the Divas Championship, and I want it at Over The Limit." The audience popped a bit as Eve backed away from Beth, quickly leaving the ring and up the entrance ramp. The challenge has been laid out by the Glamazon, but it's clear that Eve has no interest in accepting it.
- Backstage, John Cena was shown in his locker room, preparing for the tag team main event later on tonight. Soon, CM Punk walked into the room. Both men made it clear that they don't necessarily enjoy the idea of teaming up tonight, but they're willing to. "But know this, John. I'll be your partner tonight. But if I have to kick your ass at Over The Limit to regain my WWE Championship, you know I will," said Punk. "I wouldn't want anything less, Punk," said Cena before leaving the room.
- Cutting to another camera, World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan and AJ were shown making their way down a corridor. Bryan remarked that he was getting a bit tired carrying around such a heavy championship on his shoulder. "Here, AJ," he said before placing it on her shoulder. Bryan continued to walk as AJ could be seen struggling to carry the World Heavyweight Championship. Bryan and his Over The Limit challenger, Randy Orton, will be interviewed by Michael Cole, next!
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- A promo was shown for this Friday's edition of SmackDown. Just ten days before he defends the World Heavyweight Championship against Randy Orton, Daniel Bryan has a huge challenge ahead of him as he meets Kane. Friday Night SmackDown, this Friday on SyFy.
- Returning to Monday Night RAW, Divas Champion Eve was shown walking backstage, a bit on edge after her confrontation with Beth Phoenix. She was met by Ric Flair, who asked why she ran away from Beth. "Mr. Flair, I don't find it in my best interest to defend my Divas Championship against Beth Phoenix at the moment," said Eve. "Well I do. And I think the rest of the world wants to see that match. So it's going to happen at Over The Limit." Eve was clearly frustrated with the fact that her worst nightmare is now a reality. "But you know, Eve. My offer from last week is still on the table. And hopefully, so will we." Eve quickly left the scene in disgust as Flair "Woo'd!" while looking on at her.
- Cutting to the arena, Michael Cole was shown in the ring as he is set to conduct an interview with the two men who meet for the World Heavyweight Championship at Over The Limit. The theme of Randy Orton hit to a huge ovation as the Viper made his way down to the ring. Daniel Bryan was out next, along with AJ who was still carrying his World Heavyweight Championship. Bryan shouted "Yes!" repeatedly while making his way down to the ring, a trend that we have been noticing from the champion as of late. Both stood across from one another as Cole asked for their thoughts on their opponents. Cole tried to give the microphone to Orton first, but Bryan said that the champion should always be allowed to go first. "Even before I was in the WWE, I always heard about the great Randy Orton. Everyone was raving about how he was putting legends out of their misery, kicking heads off, and winning championships. But throughout all of that, I knew that I was better than you, Orton. And I still know that. The difference now is that I have the proof to back me up. The World Heavyweight Championship!" The audience booed Bryan as Orton took his turn to speak. He said that he can't deny how good Bryan is. "You're probably one of the best I've ever seen. As for being better than me, I have yet to see that. Sure, you may be the World Heavyweight Champion. But not for much longer."
- Cole then asked for both men's strategies heading into Over The Limit. Bryan said that his strategy will be no different than any of his other matches because Orton is no different than anyone he's ever competed against. "I'll go into Over The Limit, do what I do best, and retain my title." Orton told Bryan that if that's his strategy, he has already lost. "I am more vicious and calculating than anyone you have ever fought before, Daniel. Just ask Dean Ambrose what I'm capable of doing to another human being. And with the World Heavyweight Championship at stake, there's no telling what my strategy will be to put you away."
- As the audience popped for Orton, the Viper added that he feels Bryan is omitting one of his strategies for victory. "Bryan, don't think that you can defeat someone like me by hiding behind AJ." Bryan told Orton that he would never hide behind AJ. "She has nothing to do with this, or my success if that's what you're alluding to. All she's done is love me, and I thank her for that. So stop worrying about AJ and worry about me, Orton." Bryan took his World Heavyweight Championship from AJ, telling Cole that the interview was over. As Bryan was leaving the ring, Orton turned him around and attempted an RKO. Bryan pushed Orton away, almost causing him to collide with AJ. Orton was able to stop himself before any harm could be done to her, Bryan bolting out of the ring. Bryan shouted at Orton, asking what he was doing. "You could've hurt her! What the hell is wrong with you!?" AJ slowly exited the ring as Bryan comforted her, looking back at Orton.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning to Monday Night RAW, Josh Mathews was shown backstage standing by with Kofi Kingston. He asked for Kofi for his thoughts on what's next after losing to WWE Champion Wade Barrett earlier tonight? Kofi said that he can't let this loss bring him down. He's got to keep his head up, keep fighting, and seize the next opportunity that comes his way. Suddenly, Kofi was attacked from behind by Heath Slater. Slater, still upset over People Power's loss at Extreme Rules, attacked Kofi as officials were on the scene to restrain the One Man Band. "That was for Johnny!" shouted Slater.
- Returning to ringside, Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler discussed the previous in-ring segment with World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton. Lawler said that it made him sick to see such a cowardly act from a man who is supposed to be representing the WWE as World Heavyweight Champion. Cole then shifted gears to another situation. The situation with R-Truth, who for the past month has been in search of an attorney. Somehow, it slipped his mind that there is a lawyer already here in the WWE, that being David Otunga. Footage was shown of a meeting between Truth and Otunga from last week. Truth introduced himself, to which Otunga responded with "I know. We've met before. On NXT." What's an Annex T?" asked Truth. Otunga moved on from the introductions, asking Truth for his story. "I was thrown off of a stage by Mick Foley and am bound to a wheelchair." Otunga told Truth that he's been in the wheelchair for quite some time now. "What's the status on your condition?" asked Otunga. "I'm hurt," responded Truth. Otunga told Truth that he knows he is. What he wants to know is what was the word from his doctors. "My doctor told me to stay in this chair and recover." Otunga asked how long ago was that. "Hmm......the day after Foley tossed me," said Truth. "Maybe you've recovered. I'll set up an appointment with your doctor for this week," said Otunga. "No! This chair is comfty. I need it!" shouted Truth. Otunga said that until he has an update on his condition, he can't help him. Plus, he isn't even sure if he needs the wheelchair anymore, or ever did. "You callin' me a liar?! Man, I don't need this. I'll find me another lawyer!" shouted Truth as he wheeled himself out of the room.
- ALBERTO DEL RIO DEF. TYSON KIDD: A really good match up here. Kidd was given enough offence to really showcase himself well here on RAW. However, it was the Mexican Aristocrat who picked up the victory after forcing Kidd to submit to the Cross Armbreaker.
- Ricardo Rodriguez announced Del Rio as the winner as he celebrated his victory. Suddenly, Brodus Clay appeared on the titantron from the parking lot. He told Del Rio that that was real clever set up of his to try and take him out. "But guess what, Del Rio? You didn't get the job done. I'm still standing, and I'm challenging you to meet me right here in this parking lot right now!" The audience popped as Del Rio shook his head, letting Brodus know that he won't accepting that offer. "So you don't want to fight me now. OK. That's fine. But you will meet me in the parking lot at Over The Limit. I'm challenging you to a Parking Lot Brawl, and I want an answer next week."
- A graphic was shown for tonight's main event. John Cena and CM Punk team up to take on The Miz and Mr. Money In The Bank, Dolph Ziggler.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning to RAW, The Miz was shown in his locker room when Dolph Ziggler walked in. The Awesome One told Dolph that he did an excellent job earlier tonight getting under Wade Barrett's skin. "Barrett is off his game now. He isn't focused, and he won't be himself at Over The Limit. Now, my task of becoming the new WWE Champion in two weeks just got that much easier." Ziggler told Miz that his message wasn't exclusively for Barrett. "Picture this, Miz. You win the Fatal Four Way match and become WWE Champion for the second time in your career. Then, I run down to the ring, cash in my briefcase, defeat you, and steal your title." Ziggler left the room, leaving Miz on edge too, knowing that he isn't safe himself from Ziggler's Money In The Bank briefcase.
- Cutting to another camera, David Otunga was shown walking backstage when he came across the janitor who spoke to R-Truth from last week. He told Otunga not to be mad at for him telling Truth to visit him. "It's not your fault. I just wish I could help Truth. Even though we didn't see eye to eye on NXT two years ago, I did learn a lot from him. I want to help him, but he's too incompetent." The janitor told Otunga that if he can't help Truth legally, maybe he can help him professionally. "You could take him to a psychiatrist and see if you can get Truth back to normal." Otunga told the janitor that that's a great idea. "Thanks for your help....." said Otunga as he looked at the janitor's name tag. "...Brad!"
- CHRISTIAN DEF. ZACK RYDER: With Ryder receiving his rematch against Evan Bourne for the United States Championship at Over The Limit, Christian was looking to throw Ryder off of his game. As Long Island Iced Z was looking for the Broski Boot, Bourne made his way down to ringside. As he stood on the apron to distract the official, Ryder knocked him off. When he turned around, he was hit with a Spear from Christian, giving Captain Charisma the victory.
- Christian rolled out of the ring as he helped Bourne up to his feet, raising the new United States Champion's arm. The two former People Power stable mates celebrated Christian's victory on the stage as Ryder looked on from the ring.
- Backstage, John Cena was shown making his way down to the ring. He and CM Punk take on The Miz and Dolph Ziggler, next!
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- A promo was shown for WWE Over The Limit, live Sunday May 20th, only on pay-per-view.
- Returning to RAW, United States Champion Evan Bourne and Christian were shown backstage, still celebrating Christian's victory over Zack Ryder. Bourne told Christian to go back to his locker room to get their stuff, ready to leave and go celebrate elsewhere. After Christian left, Ric Flair approached Evan Bourne. He told the United States Champion that he probably should've kept his nose out of that match. After Bourne asked why, Flair said because he just screwed himself. "Before that match, all you had to worry about was Zack Ryder for Over The Limit. Because of his victory, thanks to you, I'm adding Christian. It will be a Triple Threat match for your United States Championship."
- JOHN CENA AND CM PUNK DEF. THE MIZ AND DOLPH ZIGGLER: A fantastic tag team bout to close out things here on RAW from Greensboro. While the three men vying for the WWE Championship at Over The Limit looked impressive, so did Ziggler as Mr. Money In The Bank showed the world (no pun intended) why he is a future champion. In the end, Ziggler fell victim to the GTS, Punk covering him to get the victory.
- CM Punk stood his feet following the match, the official raising both his and Cena's arms in victory. The two of them met face to face, getting a few words in before Over The Limit in two weeks. Suddenly, WWE Champion Wade Barrett hit the ring. He swung the title at Cena's head, who dodged the shot. Barrett was hit with a Roundhouse Kick from Punk, followed by an Attitude Adjustment from Cena. The WWE Title was left lying on the mat as Punk picked it up from one side of the strap. Cena picked it up from the other side as both men stared at one another while holding the WWE Championship.

RAW: - Solid opening segment playing off of Ziggler's Money in the Bank contract, he doesn't feel quite ready to cash in that title without going to Swagger route of doing so (i.e. fail miserably and then disappear without trace) but this gets him into the spotlight. - Solid victory for Barrett here, he was never going to lose this one though. Not really sure why he's in the opening match though. Considering his challengers are all in the big main event he looks kind of weak. - Bray Wyatt! Bring it on baby! - Bourne against Ryder's a solid lower card bout for Over the Limit, fully expecting Bourne to win. - Obvious win for Eve, an Eve / Beth feud could be solid, I mean at least it's two divas who can actually wrestle. - I'm loving Bryan's title run. I always found that his whole hiding behind AJ stuff was really entertaining and it's cool to see you running with it. Orton's become a little stale recently and I feel like a feud with D-Bry would a great way to reinvigorate him so bravo on that. - A Slater / Kofi feud? I can dig it. - Funny enough segment with Truth and Otunga, I'm hoping this whole thing is actually going somewhere and isn't just to find something for Truth to do. - Poor old Tyson Kidd, more talent than half the roster and still getting jobbed out. A parking lot brawl? No, it really does nothing for me, I mean I don't think it's ever been a good stipulation for a match quite frankly, especially not for Del Rio and Clay. - I don't mind the interference loss so much, but I think giving Ryder the victory would have done so much more to build towards the Bourne / Ryder match and would have actually made Ryder look competitive. - Heh, guess I was wrong, Christian being added is a nice little twist, I was expecting you to string out Christian turning on Bourne for a while. - I think Cena and Punk needed to go over here, it doesn't really hurt Miz and Ziggler too much and it builds up the whole Cena / Punk thing that you've got going on. I hated the post match stuff though, Barrett is already a weak champion and this did nothing to help him. I'm concerned he's going to be the kind of champion who looks horrible all the time besides pay per views, which has never been successful. - Decent show, I feel like you've hit a rough patch in certain areas of your booking but you're just a few really good shows from righting the ship.

| WWE NXT | May 9th, 2012 | Winter Park, FL |
- Immediately following the WWE signature intro, we were taken to Full Sail University as William Regal and Byron Saxton welcomed everyone to WWE NXT. The brackets for the NXT Championship tournament were shown as tonight, we will find out who will join Seth Rollins and Alex Riley in the Semi-Finals. And no time will be wasted as we are continuing the tournament right now!
- The theme of Damien Sandow hit as the Intellectual Savior made his way out to a chorus. Sandow introduced himself once again to the Full Sail University audience, saying that this tournament is simply worthless. "It's preposterous that Interim General Manager Dusty Rhodes deems it necessary to conduct a tournament to determine the first recipient of the NXT Championship. The only man on the roster who is capable of carrying the NXT brand towards further success is the man who is also leading the WWE Universe towards a brand new age of enlightenment. And along with the worthlessness of the tournament comes the worthlessness of the man who I have been matched up against in the first round. That being Richie Steamboat." The audience popped at the mention of Richie, which only infuriated Sandow as he asked for them to keep their wretched opinions to themselves. "Richie Steamboat's relevance only stems from the fact that he is expected to be the successor to his Hall of Fame father. However, there are hardly any foot steps to follow because quite frankly, Ricky 'The Dragon' Steamboat didn't hold a fraction of the talent that your Intellectual Savior possesses. A worthless son attempting to live up to the name of his worthless father. That is the story of one Richie Steamboat." Soon, Sandow was cut off by the arrival of Richie Steamboat. He told Sandow that he can say all he wants about him. But when he brings his family into this, that's where he draws the line. "Richie, allow me to enlighten you. Denial is a disease that affects not only one's train of thought, but their train of action as well. You're in denial and believe that your family's name actually means something. If you allow me to-" Sandow was then dropkicked by Richie as he rolled out of the ring. Richie picked up the microphone, saying "You're welcome" to Sandow. An official hurried into the ring as we are set to kick of the continuation of the NXT Championship tournament.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- NXT CHAMPIONSHIP QUARTER-FINALS - DAMIEN SANDOW DEF. RICHIE STEAMBOAT: A very good opening contest to WWE NXT with a lot on the line. Both men have been considered favorites to not only advance in the tournament, but perhaps win it all. After Steamboat missed a Crossbody, Sandow was able to plant him with the Terminus to get the victory.
- The audience booed as Sandow stood to his feet, raising his arms in victory as a banner appeared to confirm his advancement. The Intellectual Savior took a bow before performing a cartwheel to celebrate his victory. The updated brackets were shown as we now have our first Semi-Finals match confirmed. Seth Rollins meets Damien Sandow in two weeks on NXT.
- A graphic was shown for tonight's main event. In the final Quarter-Finals match of the NXT Championship tournament, Kassius Ohno goes one on one with the self proclaimed "Mr. NXT," JTG.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- At this time, the RAW Rebound was shown. In the main event, John Cena and CM Punk teamed up to battle the duo of The Miz and Dolph Ziggler. Punk and Cena were able to pick up the victory, but were caught off guard by WWE Championship Wade Barrett following the match. The champion turned out to be no issue for Punk and Cena as they were able to form a cohesive unit to take out Barrett. The two of them then picked up the WWE Championship from one end each, staring at one another with Over The Limit on the horizon in less than two weeks.
- MASON RYAN DEF. SAKAMOTO: A simple squash match here to allow Mason Ryan to redeem himself after failing to advance in the NXT Championship tournament last week. The Welsh Mammoth was able to squeeze the life out of Sakamoto with a Bear Hug to get the victory.
- Cutting backstage, Sofia Cortez and Audrey Marie were shown watching a tape of last week's match on NXT between Audrey and Sofia. "And.....there," said Sofia as she paused the video on the image of the mysterious pale woman, who has been seen several times backstage watching the Divas matches. "Who is she?" asked Audrey, though Sofia didn't have an answer either. Soon, Assistant GM Summer Rae walked into the room, saying that she can shed a bit of light on the mystery. "Her name is Paige. She came to me and Dusty Rhodes a few weeks ago, asking for a contract because she claimed that she has something to prove to the world. I personally didn't believe that she met the standards of a WWE Diva, so I denied her. She's been banned from the arena at my request, and I assure you that Paige will never be seen in Full Sail University, or anywhere near the WWE again."
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning to WWE NXT, Briley Pierce was shown standing by with Interim General Manager Dusty Rhodes, who had a major announcement. Dusty said that with NXT growing and growing as the weeks progress, many of the WWE superstars have shared with him how impressed they are with the brand. One superstar in particular who has been so impressed that he has asked if he could pay NXT a visit and observe the next generation of talent. "So ladies and gentlemen, it is my pleasure to announce that coming to NXT next week......CM Punk!" Full Sail University erupted as Dusty left the interview set, leaving Briley Pierce and the rest of the world speechless. Next week, the "Best in the World" pays a visit to NXT!
- Cutting back to the arena, the duo of Corey Graves and Jake Carter made their way down to the ring. With the audience still buzzing about CM Punk, they were quick to try and bring their joy down. "Yes, yes, we're all excited about CM Punk coming to NXT next week.....said nobody ever," said Carter. Graves said that the only thing that matters on NXT is the two of them. "Even though the NXT Championship may be out of our reach now, it doesn't matter. Because regardless, we will have gold around these waists someday. Sooner than later, you won't be referring to us as just 'Corey and Graves and Jake Carter.' We will be known as 'Corey Graves and Jake Carter, WWE Tag Team Champions.'" The audience showered the two of them with boos until the theme of Bo Rotundo hit. He reminded Carter that they still have some unfinished business, and since he decided to bring Graves along this time, why not go at it one more time? "I'm not sure if you're blind, but in case you can't see, there's two of us and only one of you," said Carter. "So unless you have a death wish, I suggest you turn around and walk back to your farm, country boy." Suddenly, the theme of Seth Rollins hit as the audience popped. He made his way out to the stage, shaking Bo's hand before running down to the ring. Graves and Carter slid out of the ring, but Rollins and Bo taunted them as it looks like we have a tag team bout on our hands.
- SETH ROLLINS AND BO ROTUNDO DEF. COREY GRAVES AND JAKE CARTER: A great tag team bout here, especially with the hot audience coming off of the announcement that CM Punk will be here on NXT next week. After Rotundo took out Carter with a leap off of the top rope, Rollins planted Graves with the Blackout to get the victory.
- The audience popped as Rollins and Bo raised one another's hands, celebrating their victory over the cocky and much hated duo of Jake Carter and Corey Graves. Bo picks up a measure of revenge, and Rollins picks up a measure of momentum heading into his Semi-Finals match against Damien Sandow in two weeks.
- Backstage, JTG was shown making his way down to the ring. He meets Kassius Ohno in a Quarter-Finals match, next!
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- A promo was shown for WWE Over The Limit, live Sunday May 20th, only on pay-per-view.
- KASSIUS OHNO DEF. JTG: A very solid tournament bout to close out tonight's edition of WWE NXT. As the match progressed, JTG's frustrations would only grow as Ohno would kick out of every attempt to put him away. After JTG missed a Blockbuster, he turned around and was met with a KO Elbow, causing him to fall to the mat in a daze as Ohno covered him to get the victory.
- Ohno stood to his feet as he raised his arms in victory, a banner appearing to announce his advancement in the NXT Championship tournament, placing him in the Semi-Finals. Along with Seth Rollins vs. Damien Sandow, we now know that the other match in the second round will pit Ohno against Alex Riley. Speaking of A-Ry, he made his way down to the ring and came face to face with Ohno. Riley extended his hand out to Ohno, who accepted the shake as it appeared that we would be treated to a match of respect in two weeks. As Riley was leaving the ring, Ohno hit him with KO Elbow to the back of his head! The audience seemed to be in shock before booing Ohno as he stood tall over the unconscious Riley, sending an emphatic statement before they meet in the Semi-Finals in two weeks.
