NXT: - Very entertaining opening segment with Sandow and Steamboat, I could see them putting on a heck of a match in real life. Big Sandow fan here so I'm glad to see him going over, Steamboat's a solid talent but the loss doesn't really hurt him. I'm expecting Rollins to go over in the semi-finals though. - Meh, I could care less about Mason Ryan, can't help but feel his chance has passed him by. - Decent enough segment for the Diva's, I'm not sure on where you're going with the Paige angle but as long as it gets her front and center then I really don't care. - CM Punk on NXT, sounds perfectly good to me. - I really enjoy the team of Graves & Carter so it was a little disappointing to see them losing here considering this match, which I could easily see as an NXT main event down the line, had little build. Still the win does big things for Bo and Rollins, especially with the tournament. I'd love to see a Punk / Rollins segment next week. - As much as I like JTG I struggle seeing him in a main event of any kind, personally I'd have switched it with the opener. Still, Ohno going over was the obvious choice and I expect him to beat Riley as well. I'm calling it as a Rollins / Ohno tournament final. - Solid show as usual, a few minor things here and there but really nothing that ruined my enjoyment of the show.

| Friday Night SmackDown! | May 11th, 2012 | Roanoke, VA |

WWE Superstars 5/10 Taping Results Drew McIntyre and Jinder Mahal def. Yoshi Tatsu and Trent Barreta David Otunga def. Hunico - Following the intro and pyrotechnics display, the commentary unit of Michael Cole, Josh Mathews, and Booker T welcomed everyone to Friday Night SmackDown! Tonight, a huge main event is in store as the World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan goes one on one with the Big Red Monster, Kane. Plus, WWE Champion Wade Barrett returns to SmackDown to take on the man who will challenge Antonio Cesaro for the Intercontinental Championship at Over The Limit in a Belfast Brawl, Sheamus! All of that and much more tonight on SmackDown!
- As things quieted, Michael Cole stood up from his chair at ringside and asked for the WWE Universe's attention, to which they responded with an enormous amount of boos. Cole reminded everyone that at Extreme Rules, he was assaulted by the Great White, Sheamus. "I had nothing to do with Antonio Cesaro's fabrications. I was simply doing my job, and Sheamus put his hands on me for no apparent reason. I am in the process of speaking to my attorney about taking legal actio-" suddenly, the theme of Chris Jericho hit as Y2J made his way out to more cheers than usual. Jericho stepped into the ring, grabbing the microphone as he told Cole two things. "First, Sheamus didn't lay his hands on you. He put his boot to your face. Second, sit down and shut the hell up because now is my time to speak!" Cole angrily sat back down in his seat as Jericho took center stage with the audience chanting his name.
- Jericho said that ever since WrestleMania, he has had one thing on his mind. Regain the World Heavyweight Championship. He had his opportunity at Extreme Rules, but came up short because Daniel Bryan decided to take advantage of the situation. Then last week, he had one more chance to inset himself into a World Title match. "But that didn't happen because of one man, Cody Rhodes." The crowd booed at the mention of Cody's name. "Because of Cody, the best in the world at what he does isn't regaining his World Heavyweight Championship. Fortunately, it doesn't look like he'll be getting a head start towards the gold also." Jericho was then interrupted by the arrival of Rhodes, who said that Y2J doesn't seem to get it. "Even though I was the man who eliminated you last week, you never had a chance at once again becoming World Heavyweight Champion. Because Jericho, your ship has sailed. Your time has come and gone. You're old news. And being the veteran that you are, I thought you would be proud to see the next generation take over the WWE. But what did you do after someone better than you pinned you? You showed the world how much of a sore loser you are by hitting me with a Codebreaker, throwing me off my game, and ultimately allowing Randy Orton to become the number one contender." Jericho told Cody that he will be proud to someday see the next generation of talent shine, but not just yet. "Cody, you speak of me as if I'm some dying animal who's ready to be put down. What you need to understand is that I still have my touch. I'm still as good as I was ten years ago, and I'm better than you will ever be in the next ten years." The audience popped as Cody told Jericho that right now, the only thing he wants to do is prove that he's old news. "I want to show the world that you're nothing special anymore, and that all eyes should be taken off of you and be put onto me, the future of the WWE." Jericho said that if Cody wants to prove him wrong, then why not? "If you're asking for a match with me, then you got it. At Over The Limit, I'll show you and the world that Y2J still has what it takes." Rhodes told Jericho that it will be an honor to put down the old dog known as Y2J. Cody made his way up the entrance ramp as Jericho looked on, ready to prove the self-proclaimed "Future of the WWE" wrong in nine nights at Over The Limit.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning to SmackDown, the commentators quickly recapped the opening segment and were able to to confirm that at Over The Limit, it's a battle of generations as Chris Jericho will take on Cody Rhodes. We were then taken back to last week, where a challenge was laid out by Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara to the WWE Tag Team Champions, Ted DiBiase and Michael McGillicutty. One man from each team will compete coming up next, and if Mysterio or Sin Cara are victorious, they're the next team in line for a title match at Over The Limit.
- REY MYSTERIO W/ SIN CARA DEF. MICHAEL MCGILLICUTTY W/ TED DIBIASE: A very good opening bout to tonight's edition of SmackDown. With a WWE Tag Team Championship opportunity on the line for him and Sin Cara, Mysterio wasn't ready to disappoint the WWE Universe. As DiBiase tried to get involved, Cara was able to take him out of the equation by delivering a Hurricarana onto the floor. In the ring, McGillicutty fell into position for the 619 as Rey connected, following it up with a top rope Splash to get the victory.
- The audience popped as Sin Cara joined Rey Mysterio in the ring, the duo celebrating as they now have an opportunity to become WWE Tag Team Champions at Over The Limit. DiBiase pulled McGillicutty out of the ring as the champions made their way up the entrance ramp, looking back at their challengers in nine days.
- Cutting backstage, SmackDown General Manager Teddy Long was shown in his office with the No. 1 Contender for the World Heavyweight Championship, Randy Orton. Teddy told Orton that he understands he has a big match coming up at Over The Limit, but he does not want to see his title match implode before it's time. "So Randy, I'm asking you to please stay out of tonight's main event," asked the General Manager. "......No promises," responded the Viper before leaving the room.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning from the commercial break, Cody Rhodes was shown leaving the arena when Matt Striker approached him, asking for his thoughts on his match with Chris Jericho at Over The Limit. Rhodes said that he looks forward to making Jericho learn the hard way that it's time for a new generation of talent to step up and take those spots that belong to guys like Jericho. "Jericho doesn't want to move out of the way, so I'm going to push him out at Over The Limit."
- RYBACK DEF. JASON CERVANTES AND TAYLOR BIRMINGHAM: Even in a Handicap situation, Ryback was still able to run right through his competition, absolutely tormenting the two local challengers. In an impressive display of strength, Ryback managed to hoist both men up to his shoulders, planting them with Shell Shock to get the victory.
- The audience popped as Ryback stood to his feet, raising his arm in victory for the third time in a row. As he remains undefeated, more audience members joined in on Ryback's "Feed me more!" chants, making it known that he's not satisfied with his competition just yet on SmackDown.
- Backstage, SmackDown General Manager Teddy Long was once again shown in his office, this time with Kane. He told the Big Red Monster that he listened to his words from last week, and has agreed to comply with him. "At Over The Limit, I will give you the Big Show. But until then, neither of you two will be coming into contact with one another. Tonight, you're here and Big Show has been barred from the arena. Next week, Big Show will be present on SmackDown and you won't be allowed anywhere near the building." Kane told Teddy that it doesn't matter to him whether he has access to SmackDown or not. What does matter to him is that he will finally be able to eviscerate the Big Show. "And tonight, I'll give Daniel Bryan the same fate."
- Cutting to another camera, Sheamus was shown making his way down to the ring. He meets WWE Champion Wade Barrett, next!
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- A promo was shown for next Monday's edition of RAW. Just six days before Over The Limit, the WWE Championship matches from WrestleMania XXVII and XXVIII will be revisited as John Cena battles The Miz, and CM Punk goes up against the WWE Champion Wade Barrett. RAW, live next Monday on USA.
- WWE CHAMPION WADE BARRETT DEF. SHEAMUS: A very solid, hard hitting bout to round out the first hour of tonight's show. After being embarrassed by John Cena and CM Punk this past Monday on RAW, Barrett was looking to redeem himself at the expense of the Great White. As Sheamus was going for the Brogue Kick, Michael Cole left the announce booth and jumped onto the ring apron, distracting the official. This allowed Antonio Cesaro to run down to the ring and level Sheamus in the skull with the Intercontinental Championship. Cesaro quickly slid out of the ring as Barrett covered Sheamus, the official making the three count.
- Barrett slid out of the ring as he was handed back his WWE Championship, raising it high in the air. Michael Cole bolted out of the arena, hurrying through the audience to avoid facing the wrath of the Great White. Antonio Cesaro re-entered the ring, standing tall over Sheamus while raising the Intercontinental Championship high in the air, letting him know what it's all about come Over The Limit next Sunday.
- A graphic was shown for tonight's main event. World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan goes one on one with the Big Red Monster, Kane.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- A promo was shown for next Wednesday's edition of NXT. As promised by Interim General Manager Dusty Rhodes, WWE superstar CM Punk will be making a visit to Full Sail University. Plus, one week before the Semi-Finals of the NXT Championship tournament take place, Seth Rollins and Alex Riley team up to battle Damien Sandow and Kassius Ohno. WWE NXT, next Wednesday on ION Television.
- DIVAS CHAMPION EVE DEF. ALICIA FOX: A decent Divas bout here. With Eve scheduled to defend her title against Beth Phoenix at Over The Limit, she wasn't looking to waste any time with Alicia Fox, hitting her with the Heart Breaker to pick up the victory.
- Backstage, World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan was shown walking backstage, thinking to himself before bumping into a janitor, or "the" janitor. "Hey, you're that janitor that's been giving advice," said Bryan. The janitor insisted that he get back to work, but Bryan stopped him. "Listen to me.....Brad. I want to show AJ that I truly appreciate her love for me. But as of late, she's been a bit uncomfortable around me. You're just a janitor, so I don't expect you to be able to give quality advice, but what do you propose I should do?" Brad told Bryan that if AJ feels uncomfortable around him, then he should make her feel comfortable by having other people there. "Maybe you and AJ could double date with Kaitlyn and someone else. Just to make her feel comfortable by having her best friend there," said Brad. "Yes.....yes! That's a great idea. You're alright for a janitor, Brad." Bryan left the scene, repeatedly saying "Yes!" as Brad went back to work.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning to Friday Night SmackDown, we saw AW sitting at ringside as he will be once again holding a "Scouting Match" to search for All World Promotions' next client, or clients as he has chosen to observe tag teams tonight.
- AW SHOWCASE MATCH - PRIME TIME PLAYERS DEF. JUSTIN GABRIEL AND TYSON KIDD: A solid tag team bout here between two teams that could not only be considered for a future WWE Tag Team Title opportunity, but a spot in AW's clientele. After Gabriel was knocked off of the ring apron, Darren Young finished off Tyson Kidd with a Gutbuster to pick up the win.
- Young and O'Neil raised one another's arms in victory, followed by their "Millions of dollars" dance. AW looked to be very impressed at ringside, writing down a few notes as he applauded the Prime Time Players for their performance.
- Backstage, World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan was shown walking into his locker room, looking to tell AJ about their double date with Kaitlyn and someone else. AJ looked really concerned as Bryan asked what was wrong. She said that the hospital where Dean Ambrose is at sent him something in the mail. "These are pictures of Ambrose after Extreme Rules." She showed Bryan the pictures, to which he responded in horror. "This is what Randy Orton is capable of, and I'm just really worried about you," said AJ. "What, you don't think I can beat Orton?" asked Bryan. AJ said that she wasn't saying that at all, she was just wants Bryan to be careful against him at Over The Limit. "Orton is nothing for me. Wrestling him will be a piece of cake. And I can prove it to you. You probably think I'm going to get manhandled by Kane up next, right? Well come out to the ring with me, and watch as I take down his big red carcass." Bryan and AJ left the room, ready for the main event.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- A promo was shown for WWE Over The Limit, live next Sunday, only on pay-per-view.
- WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION DANIEL BRYAN W/ AJ FOUGHT KANE TO A NO CONTEST: A good non-title bout to close out the show. AJ looked a bit concerned at times when Kane was in control, though her spirit was lifted every time Bryan would get a bit of offense in. As Bryan delivered kicks to the chest of Kane while shouting "Yes!" the Big Red Monster was able to grab his leg and push him, though Bryan fell onto the official. When he got back up, Kane grasped him by his throat. However, Bryan was able to hit him with a low blow. Bryan then asked AJ to hand him his World Heavyweight Championship.
- With the title in his hands, Bryan charged towards Kane, but was hit with a Big Boot. Bryan rolled out of the ring as Kane turned around, staring down at AJ. She was clearly frightened as Kane simply stared at her with his cold eyes. "No! No!" shouted Bryan, which we all assumed was his reaction to AJ being in danger. Instead, Bryan rushed into the ring and grabbed his World Heavyweight Championship before sliding back out. He clutched the title to his chest, saying that he would never leave it behind ever again. During all of this, Kane took slow steps towards AJ, eventually backing her into a corner. The audience erupted as Randy Orton ran down to the ring, turning Kane around and trading blows with the Big Red Monster. Orton was able to gain the upperhand and eventually planted Kane with an RKO! AJ was still breathing heavily in a corner until Bryan pulled her out of the ring, walking her back up the entrance ramp. "What the hell is wrong with you?!" shouted Orton towards Bryan as he proved tonight what we all figured by now. Daniel Bryan's only care in the world is his World Heavyweight Championship, neglecting AJ and allowing her to be put in harm's way. Orton and Bryan stared at one another, all while AJ was still shaking as SmackDown faded out.

| Monday Night RAW | May 14th, 2012 | Pittsburgh, PA |
WWE Superstars 5/17 Taping Results Natalya def. Brie Bella United States Champion Evan Bourne def. Tyson Kidd
- After the WWE signature intro, the audience stood to their feet for the arrival of the RAW General Manager, Ric Flair. The Nature Boy made his way down to the ring as Michael Cole and Jerry "The King" Lawler welcomed everyone to Monday Night RAW, reminding us that we are only six days away from Over The Limit on pay-per-view. Flair said that with Over The Limit this Sunday, the stakes could not be any higher in the WWE Championship match. Not only have all four men competing in that match been WWE Champion, but they have all headlined the grandest stage of them all for that very piece of gold. So tonight, we're going to re-live those moments. In a rematch from the WWE Championship match at WrestleMania XXVII, John Cena goes one on one with The Miz. And in a rematch from WrestleMania XXVIII, CM Punk will take on the current WWE Champion, Wade Barrett. The audience popped at both announcements before Flair thanked the Pittsburgh audience, ready to head back to his office. Suddenly, the theme of Dolph Ziggler hit as Mr. Money In The Bank made his way down to the ring, meeting Flair face to face.
- Ziggler grabbed a microphone, telling Flair that he shouldn't be looking back at past WrestleMania's and the superstars who competed for the WWE Championship. What he needs to do is look ahead to future WrestleMania's and the man who will headline many of them as the WWE Champion. "WrestleMania XXIX is in 327 days. Regardless of whenever I cash in this Money In The Bank briefcase, you can bet your ass that sometime over those 327 days, I will be WWE Champion. And my legacy will surpass that of Wade Barrett, CM Punk, The Miz, and John Cena combined." Flair told Ziggler that he sure does like to talk a lot. But there is something about Dolph that separates him from everyone else. "No matter how many times you run your mouth, you can back it up every single night you step in this ring. I know you have what it takes to reach the top of the mountain. So if you want the spotlight, if you want the fame and glory....if you want the WWE Championship and the chance to cement your name in this great business, you take it." Flair left the ring as Ziggler was all smiles, having received a huge endorsement from one of the most legendary names in sports entertainment history. Suddenly, Flair stopped on the entrance ramp. "And Dolph, since I like seeing you in action so much, I think I want to see you compete right now." The audience popped as Ziggler looked to be a bit hesitant, though he couldn't have his way as the theme of Brodus Clay hit. The Funkasaurus made his way out to the stage, shaking Ric Flair's hand before dancing his way down to the ring.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- DOLPH ZIGGLER DEF. BRODUS CLAY: A decent bout to kick things off for Monday Night RAW. With Brodus Clay still awaiting an answer from Alberto Del Rio regarding his Parking Lot Brawl challenge, the Funkasaurus has no problem with unleashing his anger on the Show Off. As Brodus had the upperhand, Ricardo Rodriguez ran down to ringside to distract the official. During that, Del Rio slid into the ring from the audience, striking Brodus in the back of the knee with a tire iron. With the Funkasaurus down on one knee, Dolph planted him with Zig Zag to get the victory.
- Ziggler rolled out of the ring, taking his Money In The Bank briefcase while raising his arms in victory. The Show Off quickly made his way up the entrance ramp as Del Rio grabbed a microphone, sliding back into the ring as Brodus held his knee in pain. Del Rio told the Funkasaurus that regarding his challenge last week for a Parking Lot Brawl at Over The Limit, he accepts. The Mexican Aristocrat threw the microphone down as he stood tall over the man that he looks to finish off once and for all on Sunday.
- At this time, footage was shown of World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan and AJ walking into a restaurant, Bryan taking janitor Brad's advice to have a double date, along with Kaitlyn and someone else. "Ladies and gentlemen, the World Heavyweight Champion has arrived! Yes! Yes! Yes!" screamed Bryan as he walked AJ to their table. Kaitlyn, who was already at the table, told Bryan that she think everyone gets the point. AJ asked where her date was, to which Kaitlyn responded that he should be arriving any minute now. "See, that's what makes me and AJ superior to other couples. I know where she is at all times, and she appreciates the protection I provide for her." A waiter then approached the three of them, asking for their order. When AJ tried to speak for herself, Bryan interrupted and told the waiter that she wanted a salad.
- A graphic was shown for tonight's main event. In a rematch from both WrestleMania XXVIII and RAW in England last month, CM Punk takes on WWE Champion, Wade Barrett.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning to Monday Night RAW, United States Champion Evan Bourne's theme hit as he made his way down to ringside along with his bodyguard, Tensai. Bourne took a seat at the announce table as a graphic was shown for his first title defense this Sunday at Over The Limit against Zack Ryder and Christian. Along with that, another graphic was shown for the YouTube Pre-Show bout, featuring Kofi Kingston taking on Heath Slater.
- ZACK RYDER AND KOFI KINGSTON DEF. CHRISTIAN AND HEATH SLATER: A good, fun tag team bout here to set the stage for both the YouTube Pre-Show match and the Triple Threat United States Championship match on Sunday. After being hit with Trouble In Paradise, Heath Slater walked right into a Rough Ryder, Zack covering him to pick up the victory.
- Ryder and Kofi raised one another's arms in victory, celebrating their huge win heading into Sunday. Evan Bourne and Tensai left the announce table and joined Christian on the entrance ramp, looking on at a hungry Long Island Iced Z, ready to reclaim the United States Championship at Over The Limit.
- Backstage, Curt Hawkins and Tyler Reks were shown getting into an argument, bickering over what they should do next to try and get back on track. "You know what? Go ask that janitor," said Reks. Hawkins said that he doesn't believe in that crap, but whatever. The two walked to the restroom, where Brad was exiting. "Listen, we've seen you giving other superstars advice for the past two weeks. What we want to know is what you think we should do to turn our careers around." Brad said that he saw AW earlier and thinks he's holding another Showcase match tonight. "Maybe you two can try out for that," said the janitor. Reks and Hawkins looked pleasantly surprised, saying that that wasn't too bad of an idea. The duo left the scene as Brad went back to work, the mysterious janitor giving yet more advice to superstars.
- Cutting to another camera, The Miz was shown making his way down to the ring. He meets John Cena in a rematch from WrestleMania XXVII, next!
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- A promo was shown for this Friday's edition of SmackDown. In one of the biggest main events in recent memory for the blue brand, World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan teams with Randy Orton to take on John Cena and CM Punk. How can these two teams possibly co-exist just 48 hours before their championship matches at Over The Limit? Friday Night SmackDown, this Friday on SyFy.
- Returning to Monday Night RAW, we joined the World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan and AJ on their double date with Kaitlyn and someone else, though that someone else still had not shown yet. Bryan told Kaitlyn that he kind of expected this. "I mean, I may have stood you up myself. But don't worry, because I did find someone who was interested in taking you tonight." Suddenly, Johnny Curtis appeared behind Kaitlyn. Curtis, who has been stalking Kaitlyn for the past few weeks, tried to hand her flowers. She quickly stood up from her chair, backing away from Curtis as she shouted "No!" "Yes!" shouted Bryan. The two of them argued back and forth as Curtis sniffed Kaitlyn's hair. She pushed Curtis away before storming out of the restaurant, AJ running after her.
- JOHN CENA DEF. THE MIZ: A good bout to round out the first hour, taking us back to the WWE Championship match from last year's WrestleMania. Unlike on the grandest stage, the result was reversed as Cena managed to counter Miz's Reality Check into the Attitude Adjustment, covering the Awesome One to get the victory.
- Cena stood to his feet as he celebrated his victory, gaining huge momentum heading into the Fatal Four Way WWE Championship match this Sunday at Over The Limit. WWE Champion Wade Barrett was shown in his locker room, watching on at one of his three challengers.
- Cutting to another camera, CM Punk was shown in his locker room when Josh Mathews walked, asking for Punk's thoughts on teaming with Cena this Friday on SmackDown. "Am I looking forward to teaming with Cena on SmackDown? Short answer, no. Long answer, hell no. But what I am looking forward to is taking Cena's never-ending spotlight away this Sunday, along with finally shutting up reality boy, and taking back my WWE Championship from Wade Barrett."
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning from the commercial break, another mysterious video package for the man known as Bray Wyatt was shown. "Mirror mirror on the wall...why does Bray Wyatt capture them all? Why do I capture the hearts and imaginations of everyone within the sound of my voice? Because my voice is powerful! With just a few syllables, I can change the course of your entire life! Never again will you live a dull day under my guidance. And it's not just my voice, but also my touch that holds power. Look at these trees. At least a billion years old! But after Bray Wyatt laid a finger on them, they ain't never looked any younger. I have the power to alter time, which by now you know is my major acquaintance....hahaha......tiiiiiime is on my siiiiiide."
- AW SHOWCASE MATCH - SANTINO MARELLA AND DERRICK BATEMAN DEF. CURT HAWKINS AND TYLER REKS: Another decent AW Showcase bout here. As the search for All World Promotion's next client continues, so does the decline of Curt Hawkins and Tyler Reks as a double Cobra put Reks away for the three count.
- The audience popped as Santino and Bateman celebrated their victory, AW looking a bit impressed at ringside. As the Cobra duo made their way up the entrance ramp, Hawkins and Reks looked distraught in the ring. As if they were doubting their future as a tag team.
- Cutting backstage, R-Truth was shown walking backstage when he approached David Otunga. "Hey, you're finally walking!" said Otunga. "Shut up! I liked that chair! It was comfy!" shouted an angry Truth. "Now last week, I saw you telling that janitor that I was hopeless. And that I needed 'professional help.'" Otunga told Truth that he just feels he needs further help before he can help him legally. "I've set up a session for you with a psychiatrist I know, who is willing to work with you and help you. "I don't need no psychiatrist! What I need is for you to get me my lawsuit and a trillion dollars!" Otunga told Truth that until he goes to see this psychiatrist, he won't be able to help him with the lawsuits. "....Fine! But only if I get back my wheelchair!" Truth stormed away from the scene, Otunga happy that he will finally be getting the help that he has been desperately needing.
- A graphic was shown for tonight's main event. In a rematch from this year's WrestleMania and RAW in England a month ago, WWE Champion Wade Barrett takes on CM Punk.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- A promo was shown for WWE NXT, reminding everyone that this Wednesday, WWE superstar CM Punk will pay Full Sail University a visit. And one week before the Semi-Finals in the NXT Championship tournament are underway, Damien Sandow teams with Kassius Ohno to take on Alex Riley and Seth Rollins. WWE NXT, this Wednesday on ION Television.
- Cutting back to the double date, World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan and AJ were shown with Johnny Curtis as we learned that Kaitlyn had ran off. Curtis said that it's fine. "I'll find her again. At least I got to catch that aroma of her sweet....sweet hair..." Curtis had an incredibly disturbing look on his face as Bryan asked for a check. The waiter told him that someone had already paid for it. Suddenly, Randy Orton appeared in the restaurant, grabbing Bryan and throwing him out of his chair. Orton, who challenges for the World Heavyweight Championship this Sunday at Over The Limit, hit Bryan with numerous shots to the forehead as AJ shouted at Curtis to do something. He halted his daydreaming to save Bryan, but was unsuccessful as Orton got the upperhand against him, tossing Curtis into the wall. Bryan tried to crawl away as Orton walked towards him. Bryan grabbed AJ and used her as a shield, stopping the Viper in his tracks. This allowed Bryan to grab his World Heavyweight Title and storm out of the restaurant. Orton looked on, knowing that Bryan won't be able to run away from him on Sunday.
- BETH PHOENIX DEF. TAMINA: A great bout here between two of the WWE's more powerful Divas. Divas Champion Eve was on commentary, getting a closer look at her challenge this Sunday. In the end, Beth was able to plant Tamina with the Glam Slam to get the win.
- The Glamazon stood to her feet following the sound of the bell, not taking anytime to celebrate as she stared down Eve. The Divas Champion got up from her chair at ringside, hurrying up the entrance ramp as Beth still had her eyes locked on her. Eve's days as Divas Champion may be numbered come Sunday at Over The Limit.
- Backstage, Christian was shown in his locker room when United States Champion Evan Bourne walked in. He asked Christian if he knows the plan for Sunday. "Go out there, look good for the cameras, help me take out Zack Ryder, and watch as I continue to rule RAW as the United States Champion." Christian said that he understand the plan perfectly clear. Bourne smirked as he thanked Christian before leaving the room. "....Yep, I know the plan....." said Captain Charisma.
- Returning to ringside, Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler quickly ran down the card for Over The Limit on Sunday. On the YouTube Pre-Show, Kofi Kingston takes on Heath Slater. For the Divas Champion, Eve defends against Beth Phoenix. Kane battles the Big Show in a battle of monsters. Brodus Clay has accepted the challenge and will meet Alberto Del Rio in a Parking Lot Brawl. In a Triple Threat match for the United States Championship, Evan Bourne defends against Zack Ryder and Christian. It's a battle of generations as Chris Jericho battles Cody Rhodes. Ted DiBiase and Michael McGillicutty defend the WWE Tag Team Championships against Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara. In a Belfast Brawl for the Intercontinental Championship, Antonio Cesaro defends against Sheamus. For the World Heavyweight Championship, Daniel Bryan puts the gold on the line against Randy Orton. And for the WWE Championship, Wade Barrett defends against John Cena, CM Punk, and The Miz. Over The Limit is live this Sunday on pay-per-view.
- Backstage, WWE Champion Wade Barrett was shown making his way down to the ring. He meets CM Punk, next!
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- A promo was shown for Over The Limit, live this Sunday on pay-per-view.
- CM PUNK DEF. WWE CHAMPION WADE BARRETT VIA DQ: A fantastic bout to close out tonight's edition of RAW. Punk and Barrett didn't have nearly the amount of time they had at WrestleMania and England, but they still made the most out of what they were given. As Punk had Barrett on his shoulders, The Miz hit the ring and attacked him, prompting the official to call for the bell.
- The Pittsburgh crowd booed heavily as Miz stomped away on Punk, Barrett soon joining him. Suddenly, John Cena hit the ring as he went right on the Miz, tossing him out of the ring. When Cena turned around, he was hit with a Big Boot from Barrett. The WWE Champion went to ringside to grab his title, stalking Cena with it. Barrett swung and missed as he fell into an Attitude Adjustment. Cena stood tall over all three of his opponents Sunday at Over The Limit as he exited the ring.
- As Cena began walking up the entrance ramp, the theme of Dolph Ziggler hit as he ran down to the ring with his Money In The Bank briefcase and an official. The audience stood to their feet as it looked like it was going to happen. Before the official could hand in the briefcase, Cena turned Ziggler around and planted him with an Attitude Adjustment. Cole reminded everyone that because the briefcase had not been officially cashed in, Ziggler still has possession of it. The motionless bodies of Punk, Miz, Ziggler, and Barrett were shown as Cena raised the WWE Championship high above his head, a sight we could possibly see this Sunday at Over The Limit.

WWE Monday Night RAW: Monday 7th May 2012...Alright, let's go. Kelly Kelly beating Maxine is fine, I'd love to see Maxine get used more, she's a good character with a nice look. Santino Marella, Derrick Bateman and the Usos? Awesome team, defeating Curt Hawkins, Tyler Reks, Primo and Epico in a great eight-man tag team main event. Great stuff, establishing the tag team division. Good opening promo with the WWE Champion, Wade Barrett in the ring, and I liked his complaints towards Ric Flair. Dolph Ziggler interrupting him was interesting though. A fatal five-way perhaps? Nah, not this soon I don't think. Maybe teased, though. Ric Flair's inclusion was fine, but this segment didn't do much for me, other than tease Ziggler's Money in the Bank cash-in. Wade Barrett beating Kofi Kingston was a solid opening contest and a nice opportunity for Kofi to display his skills. I guess you're doing the "WWE-style" with having Barrett work opening contests on TV as WWE Champion, sort of like a tester. Hopefully he passes the test and main events RAW and pay-per-views in the future. Brodus Caly getting blind-sighted by Alberto Del Rio with Ricardo Rodriguez as a decoy was class. I hope Ricardo starts working matches on WWE NXT in the near future, by the way. I did like Del Rio and Rodriguez trying to crush Clay with a car, but in the long run it didn't prove to be effective, I'm still not following the feud all that well. Bray Wyatt talking about the IWC! Hahah, looking forward to how he handles himself on the A-show. Good segment with Flair meeting Evan Bourne, and we've got ourselves a rematch at Over the Limit~! Eh, Evan Bourne's obviously retaining. Christian's just about to turn face, me thinks. Bored of seeing Christian and Zack Ryder face off though. Eve with a victory over Kaitlyn was fine, got her over as the WWE Divas Champion. Wow, Beth Phoenix wants the WWE Divas Championship, I suppose she's face again now? More tension between CM Punk and John Cena, heheh. Daniel Bryan's getting really selfish, it's amusing. Still think you jumped the shark a bit with his heel turn, though. Flair's RAW General Manager "thing" is making pay-per-view matches, ah. Randy Orton's promo was great, with Daniel Bryan showing more heelish tendencies. I sort of feel like you're neglecting SmackDown here, but ah well. It's just less content you'll be allowed to put on SmackDown this Friday. Bryan using AJ as a dummy was really nice and funny. Heath Slater jumping Kofi Kingston? Hahahaha! I sort of like that John Laurinaitis references still reign supreme, especially in rivalries. David Otunga and R-Truth's segment was hilarious, I liked the "Annex-T" line. It'll be hard to distinguish face from heel here though, considering that Truth is owning Otunga with jokes, whilst still playing the heel role towards the face Otunga. It'll end up switching both men I think. Poor Tyson Kidd, struck by the reality germ. Alberto Del Rio with the win was cool, although I wouldn't mind a Kidd mid-card feud in the near future, even if it was just a "1-2-3 Kid" style victory that starts it. The Parking Lot Brawl returns! Hahah, hopefully this will conclude their forgettable rivalry. Got to admire its' set-up though, all focused around car-tipping. Ziggler is just manipulating everyone in the fatal four-way match at Over the Limit tonight. I did like the Miz's idea though, being turned on him and leaving him on-edge as well. David Otunga the lawyer, talking to a janitor. Wow, that's weird. His name is Brad? Brad Maddox I assume. Christian with a win against Zack Ryder was fine, finally settling the score with Ryder, even if it was thanks to Evan Bourne. So...at Over the Limit, we have a fatal four-way main event for the WWE Championship, which is fine. And now a triple threat match for the WWE United States Championship? A little overkill, I think. I'd have paused this and added Christian maybe for June's pay-per-view or something, I just don't like having two multi-man matches in one night (look where that got Fatal 4 Way, the pay-per-view). And lastly, great win for John Cena and CM Punk against the Miz and Dolph Ziggler in a cool main event: it is strange to see Ziggler in Wade Barrett's place, though. Nice aftermath as well, with Punk and Cena holding the WWE Championship. Overall, a decent episode of RAW that felt a little long, in my mind at least. Enjoyable read though, a few things I'd have altered however.
WWE NXT: Wednesday 9th May 2012...Damien Sandow's opening promo was good, solid work with Ricky Steamboat interrupting upon a mention of Ricky Steamboat. This could be a maker for Sandow. Hah, Steamboat outsmarted Sandow and stole his catchphrase, neato. Promotes their upcoming NXT Championship quarter-final. Good win in the end for Sandow against Steamboat, and I feel that Sandow could be closer to the NXT Championship than Steamboat will for a while at least. Steamboat doesn't seem to be on that level yet. Mason Ryan beating Sakamoto was fine...squash victory to rebuild Ryan's momentum. Speaking of Sakamoto, where is Tensai now? Summer Rae? Who? I liked the NXT Divas segment, introducing Paige properly, but in a strange yet surely-effective way: how she's banned from Full Sail University intrigues the audience more. You gotta believe that she'll be back to strike again soon. CM Punk coming to NXT? Lovely, I'm looking forward to seeing what he does. Nice interview with Dusty Rhodes. Corey Graves and Jake Carter is a tag team that has potential, excluding their mic skills. Carter's are atrocious. Seth Rollins and Bo Rotundo got a good win over the duo, but it sort of demoralised Carter and Graves in my mind. And up last, not my favourite of booking decisions: Kassius Ohno predictably getting the win against JTG. I'd have opened with this match, and had Sandow and Steamboat on last, or even the tag team match. It just doesn't appear as the main event of NXT I'd tune in to watch (which I have to, since it's on television over here). I liked the inclusion of Alex Riley though, and overall, not the best of NXT episodes, but I simply see it as a filler for what's to come next week when CM Punk is here. An average show.
WWE Friday Night SmackDown: Friday 11th May 2012...Drew McIntyre and Jinder Mahal as a tag team? I really hope that isn't a standing thing. Fair win against Yoshi Tatsu and Trent Barreta in any event. I want Barreta to get an opportunity like I do Tyson Kidd. Both get great reactions, as opposed to Justin Gabriel. David Otunga beating Hunico meanwhile, was what it was. Decent opening promo with Michael Cole talking about Sheamus. Chris Jericho then opening his mouth was cool. I suppose this is a slight face turn - I also assume that you attempted the WrestleMania 13 double-turn at Extreme Rules between Daniel Bryan and Chris Jericho. I'm hoping that Jericho sticks around for longer than in real life as a face, by the way. Cody Rhodes and Jericho's promo was magic...please hold this on until June's pay-per-view, we're drowning in solid matches as it is. Too late. Ah well, should be good, provided it's only just beginning at Over the Limit for these two in their feud. Rey Mysterio got a fair opening contest victory against Michael McGillicutty, not much to add here. I don't want Mysterio and Sin Cara to win the WWE Tag Team Championships, honestly. Not yet, anyway. At this point, I think that Ted Dibiase and Michael McGillicutty need it much more. Randy Orton being ordered to keep away from Daniel Bryan? Interesting scenario. I can't see Orton obeying, and then running the risk of being suspended from his World Heavyweight Championship opportunity. Cody Rhodes is leaving already? Aw man. Ryback with the win was fine, gets him over more. I hope he peaks at the main event by the year's end, he is actually an awesome example of WWE knowing how to push someone new. Kane and Big Show at Over the Limit...snore. I guess there's nothing else for these guys at the moment. WWE RAW sounds massive this next week. Wade Barrett got an amazingly big win against the dominant Sheamus in the first-hour main event, but once again didn't main event...I hope Barrett passes this test and doesn't become a transitional WWE Champion. Antonio Cesaro then taking credit and standing tall was a nice touch, he's definitely retaining the WWE Intercontinental Championship at Over the Limit - although Sheamus has been severely lacking in momentum recently. Eve with a win against Alicia Fox was cool, not a lot to add. I like how you're trying to seriously build Eve up for her WWE Divas Championship defense against Beth Phoenix, though. Hahahah, Daniel Bryan and Brad the Janitor. I like this Brad guy's gimmick; I still think he'll be revealed to be Brad Maddox. Of course the Prime Time Players won an AW Showcase match. Millions of dollar~! isn't complete without AW's services. Hopefully he doesn't get fired, at least. Poor Justin Gabriel and Tyson Kidd, though. There are a lot of Bryan segments tonight, hmmm. I loved how what Randy Orton did to Dean Ambrose at Extreme Rules intimidates Daniel Bryan, very nice. And lastly, great main event with Bryan cheaply escaping from Kane. Bryan saving his title but not his girlfriend? Love it. A good episode of SmackDown, I enjoyed it aside from the one-too-many segments with Bryan. But that's me being picky.

| WWE NXT | May 16th, 2012 | Winter Park, FL |
- Following the intro video, the Full Sail University audience was shown fired up for WWE NXT! William Regal and Byron Saxton welcomed everyone, discussing tonight's huge edition of NXT. Present in the building is WWE superstar CM Punk, who will be joining us later on tonight for a special interview. Plus, Bo Rotundo will look for another measure of revenge against the Filth Parade as he takes on Corey Graves. But first, we're kicking off NXT with our main event match of the evening!
- SETH ROLLINS AND ALEX RILEY DEF. DAMIEN SANDOW AND KASSIUS OHNO VIA DQ: With the Semi-Finals of the NXT Championship tournament taking place next week, two of the four competitors were looking for a huge momentum boost heading in. The Full Sail University audience was behind Rollins and Riley all the way, cheering them on as the had the upperhand. As Rollins was heading to the top rope, JTG hit the ring and pushed him off, forcing the official to call for the bell.
- The audience booed as Rollins crashed to the floor, Riley going after JTG. Sandow and Ohno attacked A-Ry as the three heels outnumbered him, eventually laying him out on the mat after a KO Elbow from Ohno. Sandow, Ohno, and JTG all made their way up the entrance ramp, smiling until NXT Interim General Manager Dusty Rhodes made his way out to the stage. He said that with the Semi-Finals just one week away, he is not going to allow the three of them to ruin this show. "JTG, you want to stick your nose in other people's business? Fine. Tonight, you're going to team up with Damien Sandow and Kassius Ohno to take on Seth Rollins, Alex Riley, and a partner of their choosing in a Six Man Tag Match!" The audience popped for Dusty's announcement as the Interim GM made his way to the back, leaving the three heels irate.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning to WWE NXT, a quick recap was shown of the conclusion of the opening contest, as well as Dusty Rhodes' announcement that we will see a Six Man Tag Team match later on tonight in our main event. Cutting backstage, JTG was shown walking when Rob Naylor approached him, asking for an explanation on why he decided to get involved in the tag team match? JTG said that he's not going to sit out and just watch the NXT Championship pass him by. He's here to not only make a statement, but add to his collection of bling. "Me, Sandow, and Ohno, we got this. Ain't no way Seth Rollins, Alex Riley, and whoever they pick out of the worthless crop of superstars are getting a victory over Mr. NXT himself."
- COREY GRAVES DEF. BO ROTUNDO: A solid bout here between two superstars who are also looking to throw their names into the mix of things for the NXT Championship. However, this match wasn't about any future championship contenderships. After failing last week, Corey Graves was looking for revenge against Bo for both himself and the other half of the Filth Parade, Jake Carter. Speaking of Carter, we saw him get involved towards the finish as he was ran down the ring, climbing onto the apron. Bo was able to eliminate him from the equation, delivering a Spear that sent him down to the floor. As Bo had his attention of Carter, Graves snuck up behind him and planted him with an Inverted DDT to get the victory.
- Corey Graves rolled out of the ring as his name was announced in victory, helping Jake Carter up to his feet. The two members of the Filth Parade looked on at Bo Rotundo, satisfied with the measure of revenge that they extracted here tonight on NXT.
- Backstage, Interim General Manager Dusty Rhodes was shown in his office. He said that he's been looking forward to this moment all week, and the time has finally arrived. "Ladies and gentlemen, allow me to introduce to you.....CM Punk!" The audience erupted as Punk walked into the office, greeting the Interim GM. Dusty asked Punk for his thoughts on what he's seen from NXT. Punk said that he's very impressed with everything. "The talent that you have here, Dream, is second to none. So many guys and girls here who are already working their asses off for an opportunity. All I can hope for is that once that opportunity comes, they take their game to a whole new level." Dusty said that while Punk is here tonight, his mind can't be fully focused on NXT as this Sunday, it's "Clobberin' time" for the WWE Championship. Punk said that the thing about Over The Limit is that the match is really nothing new for him. "I've beaten Miz, Cena, and Barrett on separate occasions. Beating all of them at once won't be any different. And I guarantee you that one day, I will return to Full Sail University. And when I do, I'll be bringing the WWE Championship with me." The audience roared for CM Punk as Dusty thanked him for his time, wishing him luck for Sunday.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- A video promo was shown for this Friday's edition of SmackDown.
- AUDREY MARIE VS. CAYLEE TURNER NEVER STARTED: Audrey Marie made her way out to the ring first, ready to compete in her second match here on NXT. Caylee Turner's music hit, though she never made her entrance.
- As Audrey was waiting in the ring, cameras cut backstage, where we saw Caylee motionless on the floor. Assistant General Manager Summer Rae and several officials tended to her, leaving Audrey and all of Full Sail University confused. Suddenly, Audrey was turned around by Paige, who planted her with a Cradle DDT. Paige, who was banned from Full Sail University, quickly slid out of the ring and left through the crowd as security chased after her. Summer Rae and Sofia Cortez both ran down to the ring to help Audrey as Paige had successfully escaped.
- A graphic was shown for tonight's main event. Seth Rollins, Alex Riley, and a mystery partner go up against Damien Sandow, Kassius Ohno, and JTG.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning to WWE NXT, William Regal and Byron Saxton quickly discussed the events thus far of tonight's chaotic show. We first saw JTG get himself involved in the opening contest, leading to Dusty Rhodes making a Six Man Tag match for tonight's main event. We heard a few words from WWE superstar CM Punk. And Paige, who had been banned from the arena by Summer Rae, made her presence felt as she attacked both Caylee Turner backstage, and Audrey Marie in the ring. Suddenly, the voice of AW could be heard as he made his way out to the stage. "That's right, folks. CM Punk isn't the only WWE superstar here tonight. You also have the best damn agent in sports entertainment, AW! And I am the owner of All World Promotions! And currently, we're undergoing a few scouting sessions for our next client. And NXT is in luck, because the AW Showcase Tour has made its way to Full Sail University." The audience booed AW as he told them that they're too kind. "So I've chosen two NXT superstars from the back to compete for the opportunity of a life time. A chance for me, AW, to know just who the hell you are! And maybe, just maybe, put them under consideration for my clientele."
- AW SHOWCASE MATCH - MIKE DALTON DEF. RICK VICTOR:A solid bout here between two NXT superstars with a huge opportunity. Mike Dalton opened the world's eyes here with a great performance, perhaps solidifying himself as one of the impact players of NXT. As Victor was going for a Suplex, Dalton managed to counter it into an Implant DDT, getting the cover to get the win.
- Dalton stood to his feet as Full Sail University cheered him on, AW taking a few notes at ringside before leaving. Even if Dalton is not chosen for AW's clientele, he has proven himself to the WWE Universe here on NXT.
- Backstage, Rob Naylor was standing by with Richie Steamboat. Naylor asked the "Son of the Dragon" where his career goes from here, having been eliminated from the NXT Championship tournament last week? Richie said that his career is still going where's it always been headed, and that's to the top. A slight bump on the road doesn't derail him completely. He will get back on track, he will rise to the top. and he will one day be NXT Champion. Suddenly, Richie was approached by Mason Ryan, who said that he's a joke. Mason told Richie that his career will never lead him to the NXT Championship. "Make way because this mammoth is heading towards the top," said Mason. The Welsh Mammoth then said that to prove to the world that Richie is nothing special, he's challenging him to a match next week. "You're on," said Richie to Mason.
- Backstage, Damien Sandow, Kassius Ohno, and JTG were all shown making their way down to the ring. The Six Man Tag main event is up next!
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- A promo was shown for WWE Over The Limit, live this Sunday, only on pay-per-view.
- Returning to WWE NXT, the brackets for the NXT Championship tournament were shown as the commentators hyped the Semi-Finals round that will be taking place next week. In the first match, Kassius Ohno takes on Alex Riley. And in the other, Seth Rollins goes up against Damien Sandow. But all four men will have a shot at their opponents in our upcoming main event.
- The theme of Damien Sandow hit as he made his way down to the ring, followed by the entrances of Kassius Ohno and JTG. The three heels all stood in the ring as Alex Riley made his way out to the stage, followed by Seth Rollins. Sandow, Ohno, and JTG all taunted Rollins and Riley, telling them to get their mystery partner out now. A few moments of silence passed as there was still no sign of a partner for Rollins and Riley. Suddenly, "Cult of Personality" hit as Full Sail University jumped to their feet. CM Punk made his way out to the stage, standing in between Rollins and Riley. "It's clobberin' time!" he shouted before he, Rollins, and Riley marched down to the ring. Sandow, Ohno, and JTG all stood in shock as the "CM Punk" chants filled the atmosphere in Full Sail University.
- CM PUNK, SETH ROLLINS, AND ALEX RILEY DEF. DAMIEN SANDOW, KASSIUS OHNO, AND JTG: An incredible Six Man Tag Team Match to close out tonight't chaotic edition of NXT. The audience anxiously waited for Punk to be tagged in, standing to their feet at every moment it looked like he would. After Rollins hit Ohno with an enziguri, he made the hot tag to Punk. The "Best in the World" ran in at full speed, taking down the now-legal JTG with several clotheslines. Punk then knocked both Sandow and Ohno off of the ring apron, allowing Rollins and A-Ry to take care of them. We even saw Riley and Ohno brawl to the backstage area, continuing what was started last week. In the ring, Punk hoisted JTG up to his shoulders, hitting him with a GTS to get the victory.
- The crowd erupted as CM Punk stood to his feet, raising his arms in victory. As he was celebrating, he met Seth Rollins in the ring. Punk and Rollins stared at one another as William Regal commented that both men could be looking into a mirror of the present and future. Punk raised Rollins', a former WWE Champion endorsing a potential future NXT Champion as the image of the two celebrating faded out.

Good opener for NXT. Set up the main event very well. Good win for Corey. I'd imagine that Bo would have to find himself a partner to face the Filth Parade. A good job from CM Punk on promoting the younger talent. I like the Paige story line. She's like a rebel CM Punk version of the Divas. I liked the AW Showcase match. I feel like it's a good way for him to pick who he represents. Similar to the Honky Tonk Man in the 90's. Richie versus Mason should be interesting. A real clash of styles. Good main event. I would have preferred some other than Punk to score the pin to help get them over, but a good main event nonetheless.
Good show. Advanced story lines nicely and I really like the layout and format in which you post your shows. Grand job!

| Friday Night SmackDown! | May 18th, 2012 | Hershey, PA |

WWE Superstars 5/17 Taping Results Hunico def. Percy Watson Prime Time Players def. The Usos - Following the signature WWE intro, we were immediately shown a graphic for tonight's massive main event. Just 48 hours before Over The Limit, World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan teams up with Randy Orton to take on John Cena and CM Punk. Sparks are sure to fly as the chances of both teams being able to co-exist are non existent.
- Cutting straight to the arena here in Hershey as the theme of Chris Jericho hit. Y2J made his way down to the ring, which was set up for the Highlight Reel. Jericho grabbed a microphone and welcomed everyone to the long awaited return of the most historical talk show in WWE history, the Highlight Reel! The audience popped as Jericho reminded everyone that this Sunday at Over The Limit, he steps into the ring with Cody Rhodes. "Despite how long he's been in the WWE, Cody Rhodes is still a bit of a stranger to me. I know how talented he is, but I also think he's a bit delusional if he believes that he's more talented than me." Jericho said that the only for him to get the right feel for Cody before Sunday is to ask the man responsible for him. "So ladies and gentlemen, my guest at this time is none other than the Hall of Famer and NXT Interim General Manager. Cody Rhodes' father, 'The American Dream' Dusty Rhodes!"
- The audience popped for the American Dream as he made his way out to the stage, dancing for a bit before heading down to the ring. He took a seat as Jericho welcomed him to the Highlight Reel. Dusty thanked Jericho for the invitation, adding that he's been enjoying these past few weeks as Interim General Manager of NXT. "Sadly, I know I won't be running things down there in Florida for much longer, so I'm glad I get to appear in front of a audience like this at least one more time." Jericho told Dusty that he's doing a great job running NXT and can't wait to see the next generation of superstars make an impact. "However, I think your son believes that he is the next generation," said Jericho. Dusty said that it should be no secret that Cody is a bit on the arrogant side. "My son has extraordinary talents and, for my money, will one day be World Heavyweight Champion. But that's in the future. For right now, I don't believe he should be out here disrespecting a man such as yourself and the generation that you helped lead here in the WWE." The audience seemed to agree with Dusty as Jericho told him that he's exactly right. "I know if this was a few years back, you would bring out the whip and teach Cody a lesson. But on Sunday, allow me to be the whip, Dream."
- As Jericho and Dusty shared a laugh, the mood of the segment changed as the theme of Cody Rhodes hit. He made his way down to the ring, saying that he won't sit back and allow this debacle to go any further. "Dad, you know where you belong. That's down in NXT babysitting. This is my show," said an irate Cody. Jericho told him to "Shut the hell up!" The audience cheered on Jericho, chanting "Y2J" to further annoy Cody. Cody said that this is the reason why the next generation has yet to be fully ushered in. "Valuable television time is being thrown in the trash in favor of two washed up, has beens who have no business being anywhere near a wrestling ring. Yes, dad. That does include you." Dusty told his son that he needs to settle down. "Jericho is right. You do need to be taught a lesson, and I do hope Chris can deliver that lesson this Sunday at Over The Limit. But until then, I think Teddy Long as a little surprise for you." Jericho came into the discussion, saying that the surprise isn't exactly "little." After a few seconds of silence, the theme of the Big Show hit as he made his way out to the stage. Cody stood in the ring, looking on as the World's Largest Athlete marched towards him while Jericho and Dusty left the ring.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- CODY RHODES DEF. BIG SHOW VIA COUNTOUT: A decent bout to kick off tonight's huge edition of SmackDown. Just 48 hours before he meets Chris Jericho at Over The Limit, Cody Rhodes definitely took a beating from the World's Largest Athlete, preparing for his match on Sunday against Kane. After Show tossed Rhodes over the top rope, Cody delivered a dropkick to his leg as the official could be heard nearing the ten count. Cody then delivered Beautiful Disaster, knocking Show to the floor as he rolled back into. By the time Show was back on his feet, the official reached the count of ten.
- The audience booed as Rhodes raised his arms in victory, gloating to the world about his victory over the Big Show. However, when he turned around, he was met with the Knockout Punch. Show exited the ring as Chris Jericho made his way down there once again. He laughed at the unconscious Cody, getting the last words in before they meet this Sunday at Over The Limit.
- Backstage, SmackDown General Manager Teddy Long was shown in his office when Intercontinental Champion Antonio Cesaro walked in. "You wanted to see me?" asked the Intercontinental Champion. Teddy told him that he recently spoke to Sheamus, who had a proposal for tonight. Cesaro initially refused, saying that he will not comply with any request of that brute, especially two days before he embarrasses him at his own game. Teddy then told Cesaro that the proposal was for a Handicap Match, which opened the Intercontinental Champion's ears. "Sheamus would be foolish enough to allow himself to be put in danger before Sunday. Alright, I'm listening." Teddy Long said that tonight, Sheamus will compete against Antonio Cesaro, and his partner........Michael Cole! The audience erupted as cameras showed Cole at ringside with a stunned expression on his face. Cesaro was irate, but Teddy said that he had already agreed to the match. The Intercontinental Champion stormed out of the room in anger as Booker T and Josh Mathews could be heard laughing at Cole.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- At this time, the RAW Rebound was shown. We were taken back to the main event this past Monday, pitting WWE Champion Wade Barrett against the man he defeated for the title, CM Punk. Interference from The Miz would give Punk the DQ victory, but John Cena would even the odds and take out both Barrett and Miz. Mr. Money In The Bank Dolph Ziggler then attempted to cash in his contract, but that was prevented by Cena.
- WWE TAG TEAM CHAMPION TED DIBIASE W/ MICHAEL MCGILLICUTTY DEF. SIN CARA W/ REY MYSTERIO: Both Mysterio and McGillicutty, who competed last week, sat out tonight as the other half of both teams went at it. Just two days before the WWE Tag Team Championships are on the line, Ted DiBiase managed to gain a bit of momentum as he put Sin Cara away with Dream Street.
- DiBiase rolled out of the ring as the official handed him his WWE Tag Team Championship title. He and McGillicutty walked up the entrance ramp while holding the gold up, letting Mysterio and Cara know what it's all about come Sunday in Raleigh.
- Cutting backstage, World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan was shown in his locker room, looking at the pictures of Dean Ambrose's injuries as he took a big gulp. Soon, CM Punk walked into the room. "Nervous there, Dragon?" asked Punk. Bryan told Punk that nervous isn't the right word. "It's more like...excited. I'm excited that AJ is out right now getting me my anniversary present. I'm excited that this Sunday, I get to show the world that I'm not afraid of Randy Orton. And I'm really excited that tonight, I get to compete with you in the ring." Punk said that he's excited about a lot of things too. "I'm excited that tonight, I make history as the first man to main event RAW, NXT, and SmackDown all in the same week. I'm excited that this Sunday, I will reclaim the WWE Championship. And I too am really excited about meeting you out there in the tag team match tonight. But what I'm really excited for is watching as you and Orton implode," said Punk. "Because you and John Cena make a better team?" responded Bryan. Punk said that he and Cena can at least wait until Sunday to get one up on the other, whereas Orton is looking for any opportunity to rip his head off. Punk chuckled a bit before leaving the room as Bryan looked on, glancing back at the Ambrose photos while once again looking concerned.
- A graphic was shown for the upcoming Handicap Match, pitting Sheamus against Intercontinental Champion Antonio Cesaro and Michael Cole. That match is next!
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- A promo was shown for next week's edition of WWE NXT. The Semi-Finals matches of the NXT Championship tournament will take place as Kassius Ohno battles Alex Riley, and Seth Rollins goes one on one with Damien Sandow. Who will take the next step towards becoming the inaugural champion? WWE NXT, next Wednesday on ION Television.
- SHEAMUS DEF. INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION ANTONIO CESARO AND MICHAEL COLE: While the audience was dying to see Michael Cole step into the ring with Sheamus, a good chunk of the match was spent between Antonio Cesaro and the Great White. Two days before they meet in a Belfast Brawl for the Intercontinental Championship, both men put on a solid showing to get everyone ready for Sunday. As Sheamus was going for a Brogue Kick, Cesaro tagged Cole in. The Swiss Sensation took his Intercontinental Title from ringside and left up the entrance ramp. Cole pleaded with Cesaro, begging him not to leave. Sheamus then pulled Cole into the ring, gearing up once again for the Brogue Kick. When Cole turned around, he was hit with it as Sheamus covered him to pick up the victory.
- The audience popped as Sheamus stood to his feet, beating his chest and letting out a victory scream. Antonio Cesaro watched from the stage as Sheamus motioned for the gold. The two of them meet in a Belfast Brawl for the Intercontinental Championship this Sunday at Over The Limit.
- Backstage, Johnny Curtis was shown walking down a hallway when he bumped into Brad the janitor. "Hey, Brad. Let me ask you this. Why is it that Kaitlyn is taking her sweet time to profess her love to me? I figured by now, we'd be getting weird already." Brad said that he's not really and expert on that and should be getting back to work. Curtis grabbed Brad by his shoulder, saying that all he needs is a bit of advice. "Everyone else is getting something. So what do you have for me?" Brad thought about it for a bit before telling Johnny that he could impress Kaitlyn through his wrestling ability. "Maybe you could issue an open challenge? If you win, you might also win Kaitlyn," said Brad. Curtis liked the idea, saying that he will issue the challenge next. "Say, Brad. If you ever have some weird urgencies, get a van. That's my advice to you." Curtis made his way to the ring as Brad went back to work.
- A graphic was shown for tonight's huge main event. World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton team up to take on John Cena and CM Punk. Two dysfunctional teams collide tonight!
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning to SmackDown, Booker T and Josh Mathews were shown still laughing at we just witnessed between Sheamus and Michael Cole. They then shifted gears to remind everyone about the Over The Limit Pre-Show. You can tune in a half hour before Over The Limit goes on the air and watch Kofi Kingston take on Heath Slater, only on YouTube.
- Cutting back to the arena, Johnny Curtis was shown in the ring already. "Kaitlyn, I know you're back there watching me. And hopefully fantasizing about me. But I know what you love, and that's wrestling. So watch as I display my skills just for you, my love. If there's anyone in the back who wants to contribute to that cause of me getting weird with Kaitlyn, answer now......"
- RYBACK DEF. JOHNNY CURTIS: Curtis may have regretted issuing an open challenge as it was answered by the undefeated Ryback. Just like all previous weeks, Ryback ran right through his opponent, eventually finishing off Curtis with Shell Shock.
- Ryback stood up and raised his arms in victory, once again extending his unbeaten streak. He shouted "Feed me more!" repeatedly as the audience joined in, the chants getting noticeably louder each week.
- Backstage, World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan was shown in his locker room when AJ walked in. She handed him his anniversary present, which was his new "Yes! Yes! Yes!" t-shirt. When AJ asked what he got her, Bryan said that she gets the honor of being the girlfriend of the World Heavyweight Champion. She seemed a bit annoyed as Bryan hugged her. When Bryan opened his eyes, he was met by John Cena. "Actually, AJ, there's two other presents for you. The first is you get to see me and CM Punk take care of Bryan tonight. And on Sunday, you get to see Randy Orton 'Ambrose' your boyfriend and become the new World Heavyweight Champion. I'm happy, you'll be happy, and Bryan won't be. So all will be good in the world!" Bryan told Cena that the entire scenario he just painted would be a nightmare for AJ. "Isn't that right, sweeheart?" asked Bryan. AJ took a while, but eventually murmured "Yes." "Yes!" shouted Bryan. "Tonight, it's you and Punk. Sunday, it's Orton. And one day, when AJ and I are old and married, we'll look back on this moment and have a good laugh." Before leaving the room, Cena told AJ that she needs to stick up for herself. After he left, Bryan said to AJ that she doesn't have to listen to Cena.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning to Friday Night SmackDown, Booker T and Josh Mathews quickly ran down the card for Over The Limit on Sunday.
- AW SHOWCASE - MAXINE DEF. ALICIA FOX: A very unique scenario here as for the first time, the AW scouted two Divas for potential positions in his clientele. In what was a decent match up, Maxine scored the victory over Alicia Fox after planting her with the L-Bomb.
- Following the match, Maxine celebrated her victory as AW, instead of taking notes like he usually does, pulled out his phone and started taking pictures of her. She made her way to the back as the commentators noted that the final AW Showcase match will take place next Monday on RAW.
- Backstage, John Cena was shown making his way down to the ring when he was stopped by CM Punk. "John, there's no way Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton will be able to co-exist. Now I don't want to be your partner tonight or any other night. But since we are, I suggest we get on the same page for at least just this match. And on Sunday, we tear the house down with Wade Barrett and The Miz." Cena smiled before shaking Punk's hand. He continued on towards the ring, the huge tag team main event is up next!
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- A promo was shown for WWE Over The Limit, live this Sunday, only on pay-per-view.
- WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION DANIEL BRYAN AND RANDY ORTON VS. JOHN CENA AND CM PUNK ENDED IN A NO CONTEST: A great tag team bout to close out SmackDown heading into Over The Limit. As expected, Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton could not co-exist for the life of them. While Cena and Punk did a better job, there were a few bumps in their unison. Quickly after Orton made the tag to Bryan, the World Heavyweight Champion decided to tag back out. Orton tagged Bryan in once again, which prompted Bryan to push him. Orton delivered a harder shove to Bryan, pushing him down to the mat. Bryan slid out of the ring and grabbed the World Heavyweight Championship and AJ before heading up the entrance ramp. Randy Orton followed Bryan, prompting him to move faster as the Viper was on his tail.
- After Bryan and Orton left, Cena was left alone in the ring confused. Suddenly, CM Punk hoisted him up to his shoulders and hit him with a GTS. Punk grabbed a microphone from ringside before sitting cross-legged next to Cena. "John, you really are gullible, aren't you. You really believed that I wouldn't be looking for the opportunity to strike tonight? Well just like every other opportunity that has ever presented itself, I took it. And this Sunday, I'm taking back what is rightfully mine. Because unlike you, Miz, and Wade Barrett, I've beaten all three of you before. And at Over The Limit, I'll do it again and become a three-time WWE Champion." Punk stood to his feet as the audience cheered him on, the "Best In The World" making it known that he plans on reclaiming the WWE Championship this Sunday at Over The Limit.

I liked the highlight reel. I liked how even Dusty wasn't a fan of Cody's actions. I expected a distraction from Kane of some sort in the Show/Cody match. I like the handicap match idea. Hopefully, we see Cole get his face kicked in. Good win for DiBiase, but I think Rey/Sin Cara will win the belts on Sunday. I'm glad to see Cole get hit with the Brogue Kick. I loved the segment with Curtis and Brad. Very funny, very well done. Easy win for Ryback. I would like to see him face some big stars soon. Great segment with Bryan/AJ/Cena. It's only a matter of time before AJ turns on Bryan. Interesting AW match. I can't wait to see who he picks. Fantastic main event! It set up Over the Limit perfectly. I was hoping Punk would do something and not go all the way buddy-buddy with Cena. Another great read, man. I'm looking forward to Over The Limit.

I love the Smackdown graphic as well as the layout of your show. It's brilliant in my opinion. Fantastic opening segment as I love the idea of a Jericho/Rhodes feud as it's so original. Not only that, but using the American Dream is always a plus for a Cody storyline. Cody winning via countout was a great dastardly heel moment and the post match Knockout punch was a nice touch. Another original feud for the Tag Team Titles and it's a match I'm interested in for sure. Liked the segment with Danielson & Punk. nXt semi-finals look really good. Again, an original and interesting feud as I'm intrigued by Cesaro vs. Sheamus. Haha, Ryback over Johnny Curtis. Fun segment. Bryan is excellent as the jerk boyfriend and shouting Yes! after AJ mumbled it was brilliant. AW Showcase is another interesting idea. Great main event and loved Punk's post match antics. Overall, a great show and I feel like I need to go back and read this from the beginning as I'm liking so much about it. I can easily see why this has the Spotlight. Eagerly anticipating Over The Limit, you have me hooked.

WWE Monday Night RAW: Monday 14th May 2012...Natalya with a win against Brie Bella is fine, hopefully Natalya could go through a character transformation that can turn her WWE career around. Just a thought. Evan Bourne beating Tyson Kidd was solid, a good main event to WWE Superstars. Hopefully Evan can be more than a transitional WWE Unite States Champion, though. Dolph Ziggler's promo was acceptable, reminding him of his Money in the Bank briefcase status with WrestleMania XXIX still ten months away. Ric Flair's interference was great, and I liked the sound of that opening contest. Decent effort with Ziggler getting the win against Brodus Clay in a satisfying opening contest. Alberto Del Rio's involvement was fine, final build for the Parking Lot Brawl fiasco. It sort of reminds me of the mid-card scene during the Attitude Era, nice. Daniel Bryan and AJ on a double date sounded hilarious, surprised that Kaitlyn's date wasn't revealed though. A chance for Bryan to boost his own ego perhaps? I like the mini-feud that Kofi Kingston currently has going with Heath Slater, but hopefully following this comes a good program or something to establish his character some more. Zack Ryder and Kofi Kingston had a good win against Christian and Heath Slater, although I'd have maybe put Evan Bourne in this match instead. I see Bourne slyly retaining the title come Over the Limit though: I just hope that the same finish isn't used for the fatal four-way match. Hahah, Brad giving Curt Hawkins and Tyler Reks advice on their losing ways is a nice touch. An AW Showcase match on RAW? That's a first, I believe. Bryan boosting his ego off of Kaitlyn was nice, and hahaha, Johnny Curtis arrives. He's been stalking Kaitlyn lately? I can't say I've noticed that, unfortunately. #LETSGETWEIRD. John Cena beating The Miz was a solid open-hour main event with Cena looking dominant growing closer to Over the Limit in six days, not bad. Yay more Bray Wyatt vignettes; hopefully he arrives at last next week. Santino Marella and Derrick Bateman still triumphing against Curt Hawkins and Tyler Reks was fine, not a big problem, just hoping that Hawkins and Reks can get their act together, and have some sort of dandy feud with Marella and Bateman. AW surely won't choose these two. R-Truth and David Otunga's segment was hilarious, I'm loving your work on these segments, and it'll be a shame when R-Truth leaves the wheelchair. Wow, Randy Orton invading the double date was great, especially liked Johnny Curtis' embarrassing attempt at self-defence against Orton. AJ's tweenering from this segment, be careful. Beth Phoenix beating Tamina was fine, got Beth over as strong, so facing Eve this Sunday should be interesting. So hoping that Christian turns face at last this Sunday; he's become so lost in this diary, in my opinion. And lastly, great WrestleMania XXVIII rematch with CM Punk beating Wade Barrett with a false finish designed to set up the WWE Championship fatal four-way match this Sunday at Over the Limit. Overall, acceptable show with some big matches, but generic build-up for Sunday's pay-per-view.
WWE NXT: Wednesday 16th May 2012...Decent opening contest to kick off the show with Seth Rollins and Alex Riley picking up a victory against Damien Sandow and Kassius Ohno...but with a rematch sanction for later tonight? Interesting. JTG interfered? That's a strange combination, Sandow, Ohno and JTG. A six-man tag team match later tonight sounds cool, even if Rollins and Riley's partner is totally predictable. I just feel like it could've been given a different way to make CM Punk look like a surprise, even if he made the save right here and now. JTG trying to recreate himself, good idea. Shame that he's definitely not winning the NXT Championship ever (I hope). Corey Graves beating Bo Rotundo was fine, not a lot more to add here honestly. Filth Parade needs more gimmick, me thinks. I wonder when you plan to debut Big E Langston or Roman Reigns. CM Punk's promo was good, and I liked how he simply used it as a plug for Over the Limit this Sunday, where he defends the WWE Championship. Up next, another dirty ending to a segment? Not liking it so far, two tonight, in the space of an hour may I add. Audrey Marie and Caylee Turner getting jumped by Paige was nice, I'm interested in where this is going for sure. AW's promo as sound, trying to pick up a talent from NXT. Mike Dalton? Good! He's a pretty decent talent that hasn't been given an opportunity to shine, per se. Rick Victor is out of place in the WWE; he seriously needs a change of look. Richie Steamboat being called out by Mason Ryan was nice, a decent segment that could lead to some awesome David vs Goliath matches. CM Punk as the third man was too predictable, but ah well. CM Punk with the win against JTG...I wasn't too pleased with that, honestly. I think that it's good to get Punk over before Over the Limit - however - Seth Rollins or Alex Riley rightfully should have won the fall for their team, especially after how the opening contest with these guys, Sandow and Ohno ended. Also, when did Ohno suddenly turn heel? Overall, a decent show but had some strange booking I found.
WWE Friday Night SmackDown: Friday 18th May 2012...Thank goodness that Hunico defeated Percy Watson, I'm really not a fan of Watson's. The Prime Time Players then getting a win against the Usos was fine, nothing to add, decent side to WWE Superstars this week for SmackDown. Decent promo from Chris Jericho - my only complaint being that this was the second week in a row in which Jericho has opened SmackDown. Dusty Rhodes on the Highlight Reel was an interesting call, with Jericho feuding with his son, Cody Rhodes. Decent opening promo to set the seams for the opening contest, and Jericho and Rhodes' match at Over the Limit. I am hoping that the feud continues beyond Over the Limit, though. Cody Rhodes beating the Big Show by count-out was fine, not a lot to add. Nice mix-in with Kane's interference, even if I really don't care for Kane feuding with the Big Show. Show knocking Rhodes out hurt Cody's momentum in this feud though, honestly. Antonio Cesaro and Theodore Long are an amusing pairing, for sure. Hahah, looking forward to this handicap match tonight. Ted Dibiase beating Sin Cara was fine, a decent win for the WWE Tag Team Champions to divulge. They've got to grasp victory this Sunday to gain the role as 'credible champions'. Wow, Daniel Bryan and CM Punk's segment was solid, I liked. Keep their singles match waiting for a future pay-per-view appearance, I'm begging you. The semi-finals of the NXT Championship tournament, cool. Sheamus with a win against Antonio Cesaro and Michael Cole was fine, a decent handicap match to round up the first-hour. Sheamus pinning Cole was funny and also a sign of potential things to come for the WWE Intercontinental Champion come Sunday. Brad and Johnny Curtis' meeting was hilarious - he's going to kill the janitor for this idea. Johnny Curtis then getting killed by Ryback was the greatest conclusion to this little angle possible. Hopefully Curtis keeps it up with this, though. I want to see Curtis and Kaitlyn get weird already! Bryan and John Cena's segment was quite interesting - I'm still thinking that there's too much focus on Bryan on SmackDown, though. Not enough on Randy Orton. Maxine beating Alicia Fox in the AW Showcase match was fine, hoping that Maxine makes the cut into All World Promotions next Monday! Looking forward to seeing the final line-up for sure. And lastly, extremely explosive main event to SmackDown with all hell breaking loose. I didn't like Bryan and Orton being swept under the rug for the WWE Championship RAW angle, though: the fatal four-way match already had main event build following RAW, whereas Orton/Bryan have barely had any interaction tonight, but ah well. Overall, a decent show, but again, just general build for Sunday's pay-per-view. A decent week for WWE television overall, just nothing memorable. Looking forward to reading Over the Limit, though.

YouTube Pre-Show Kofi Kingston def. Heath Slater
A video package is shown, showing the recent actions of World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan. Words such as "selfish", "arrogant", and "self-absorbing" appeared on the screen as clips of Bryan shouting "Yes!" were shown. However, there is no reason for the World Heavyweight Champion to celebrate tonight as he defends the gold against the Viper, Randy Orton. But what role, if any, will the submissive AJ play? We were then shown the four competitors in tonight's main event. Highlights of John Cena, CM Punk, and The Miz's past championship reigns were shown, along with the current reign of Wade Barrett. But now, without John Laurinaitis in power, the deck has been stacked against Barrett. Tonight, the first ever English-born WWE Champion puts the gold on the line against Cena, Punk, and Miz. On top of that, we know that a certain "Show Off" can't be too far behind.
"Built To Fall" by Trivium blasted over the PA system as the opening graphic was shown, followed by a huge pyrotechnics display. Cameras scanned the red-hot audience here in Raleigh as the commentary unit of Michael Cole, Jerry "The King" Lawler, and Booker T welcomed everyone to Over The Limit! When cameras showed the three at ringside, we saw Michael Cole in his "Cole Mine." He stated that in three weeks, he's received three Brogue Kicks and does not feel like receiving another when Sheamus is out here later on tonight. After Booker and Lawler were down laughing at him, they quickly ran down the card, focusing on the two championship matches. For the World Heavyweight Championship, Daniel Bryan must defend against the Viper, Randy Orton. And for the WWE Championship, the odds are stacked against Wade Barrett as he defends against John Cena, CM Punk, and The Miz. Cole sends things over to Justin Roberts as the opening bell is sounded.
Singles Match Chris Jericho vs. Cody Rhodes
| As Cody Rhodes was removing his entrance gear, Jericho snuck up behind him and caught him with a quick roll up. Cody kicked out just in the nick of time, charging towards Jericho. Jericho moved out of the way as Cody collided with the turnbuckle. Jericho turned him around and delivered a few knife edge chops. Cody fell to the mat as Jericho continued to strike him repeatedly. The official pulled Jericho away, giving Cody a bit of time to regroup. When Jericho went back on the attack, pulled him down to the mat by grabbing his legs. He slingshotted Jericho into the corner, but Y2J's feet landed on the second turnbuckle. When Cody turned around, Jericho came down onto him with a crossbody. Again, Cody managed to kick out before the three count. Jericho picked Cody up, irish whipping him into the ropes. Cody remained on the ropes, which forced Jericho to charge towards him. Cody tossed Jericho over his head as he landed on the ring apron. Jericho blocked one of Cody's strikes and hit him with one of his own. As Cody backed away from the ropes, Jericho delivered a springboard clothesline. Cody rolled out of the ring as the audience cheered on Jericho. He launched himself over the top rope, but Cody moved out of the way as Jericho crashed to the floor. After Jericho stirred to his feet, Cody hit him with Beautiful Disaster. Cody rolled Jericho back into the ring, covering him for the two count. Cody lifted Jericho up for the Alabama Slama, successfully hitting it as Jericho kicked out. Cody went for it again, but Jericho managed to counter it into a Walls of Jericho attempt. Cody kicked Jericho away, catching him in position for Cross Rhodes. Jericho was able to use his feet to springboard off of the second rope, flipping himself over and planting Cody with an Inverted DDT. Once again, Cody managed to kick out of the pinning predicament. Jericho attempted the Lionsault, but Cody git his knees up in time. He stomped away on Jericho for a bit before dropping his knee onto his face. He covered Jericho, but couldn't get the victory. Cody lifted Jericho up into suplex position, holding him there for a bit before planting him on his front side. Cody ascended up to the top turnbuckle, looking back at Jericho a few times as he stirred to his feet. Cody came down with a Moonsault, perfectly hitting Jericho as he hooked the leg. Jericho managed to kick out. Cody tried to lock Jericho in Cross Rhodes position again, but Y2J fought out of it and hit him with an Enziguri. Jericho went for another Lionsault, but Cody again got his legs up. However, Jericho seemed prepared for it as he grabbed Cody's legs. He locked in the Walls of Jericho as Cody struggled. He had his hand in the air, looking as if he were ready to submit. That wasn't the case as Cody managed to reach the bottom rope. As Jericho was picking up Rhodes, he hit him with a few elbows that sent Y2J away. Cody went for Beautiful Disaster, but it was countered into a mid-air Codebreaker! Jericho covered Cody, finally get the three count. | Chris Jericho defeats Cody Rhodes |
The audience popped as Jericho stood to his feet, raising his arms in victory. The commentators put over the performance of Cody Rhodes, stating that he proved himself in regards to whether or not he is the future of the WWE. But tonight, Y2J prevails for his generation.
In the sky box here in the arena, RAW General Manager Ric Flair was shown as Matt Striker interview him. Flair said that with North Carolina being home to him, he decided to ditch the office tonight and enjoy Over The Limit the only way the Nature Boy knows how - in luxury. Striker then asked Flair for his predictions on tonight's Fatal Four Way main event for the WWE Championship. "All I care about is seeing a good fight between all four men. Whether it's Miz, Punk, Cena, or Barrett, I will be proud to see a champion stand tall after a hard fought battle." Striker thanked Flair for his time as the General Manager resumed drinking his wine as the bell sounded for the next contest to get underway.
United States Championship Evan Bourne (c) vs. Zack Ryder vs. Christian
| The bell sounded as all three men took a corner, staring at one another. Both Bourne and Christian immediately went after Ryder, the former champion trying to fend off both the current champion and his long time rival. Bourne and Christian both stomped on Ryder in a corner before backing away. Christian delivered a baseball slide that sent Ryder's side into the ring post. Long Island Iced Z rolled out of the ring as Bourne and Christian focused on each other. The two former People Power stable mates locked up as Christian powered Bourne into a corner. Bourne hit Christian with a few quick elbows before positioning himself on the top turnbuckle. Zack Ryder stepped onto the ring apron, pushing Bourne off of the turnbuckle as the defending United States Champion crashed to the floor. Christian ran towards Ryder, who hit him with a forearm. He climbed up to the top turnbuckle, hitting Captain Charisma with a Missile Dropkick. Ryder got the cover, but Christian managed to kick out before the count of three. Ryder irish whipped Christian into a corner before charging towards him. Christian got a foot up, backing Ryder away. He climbed to the top turnbuckle, looking to come down with a Flying Forearm. Ryder moved out of harm's way, soon planting Christian with a Running Bulldog. Ryder got the cover again, but Evan Bourne broke it up. Bourne stomped on Ryder for a bit before hitting a small chest stomp. Christian got to his feet as Bourne held Ryder up. Captain Charisma hit him with a few strikes before running the ropes for a big one. Ryder ducked the shot as Christian inadvertently caught Bourne. Ryder rolled Christian up, who was able to kick out just in time. Ryder planted Christian face first with a Flapjack, getting the cover but not the victory. Ryder was going for a suplex, but Christian countered it and pushed him towards the turnbuckles. Ryder moved out of the way as Christian splashed himself into the top turnbuckle sternum-first. Christian fell to the mat in the corner as Ryder backed up a bit, fist pumping with the Raleigh audience. He went for the Broski Boot, but missed as Christian squirmed away. Ryder got his foot caught in the ropes, taking him a while to get back on his feet. Christian went for a Spear, but Ryder dodged it as Captain Charisma rammed his shoulder into the steel ring post. While holding his shoulder in agonizing pain, Christian walked right into a Rough Ryder. As Ryder had the cover, Bourne pulled him out of the ring. He quickly crawled into the ring, picking up the scraps and covering Christian to steal the victory and retain his championship. | Evan Bourne is still your United States Champion |
Bourne quickly rolled out of the ring as he was handed his United States Championship, the audience showering him with boos. He hurried up the entrance ramp, looking back at a furious Zack Ryder. Not only did Bourne steal this victory right under Ryder's nose, he pinned the man who he has had an alliance with for months, Christian. Nonetheless, the opportunistic Bourne found a way and will be leaving Over The Limit still as the United States Champion.
A promo was shown for No Way Out, which will be headlined by not one, but two Steel Cage matches. No Way Out is live on June 17th from East Rutherford, New Jersey.
Backstage, Josh Mathews was standing by with the World Heavyweight Champion, Daniel Bryan. The audience booed as Mathews asked Bryan for his thoughts on tonight's title defense against Randy Orton? Bryan said tonight, it's him against the world. Nobody believes that he can leave Over The Limit with the World Heavyweight Title intact. But those are the same people who didn't believe he would make it to the WWE, or win Money In The Bank, or win the World Title at WrestleMania. He's made a career out of proving the non-believers wrong, and he'll do the same tonight. "And AJ, I think you know the drill. After tonight, will the WWE Universe believe in me as not only their World Heavyweight Champion, but as their role model?" AJ responded with a very faint "Yes." Bryan then told her to show a bit more enthusiasm. She then shouted a very forced "Yes!"
WWE Tag Team Championships Ted DiBiase and Michael McGillicutty (c) vs. Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara
| Before the bell sounded, DiBiase and McGillicutty took a bit of time outside discussing strategy and who would start off the match. Mysterio and Sin Cara grew impatient of waiting and decided to get the bout started themselves. They delivered simultaneous Suicide Dives through the second rope, taking out the champions. They both rolled DiBiase into the ring as Mysterio went inside as well. The bell sounded as Mysterio hit DiBiase with a few kicks to his arm. DiBiase caught one of Mysterio's kicks, getting a hold of his leg. Mysterio corkscrewed himself and hit DiBiase in the chest with his other foot. He hit Ted in the side of his face with a dropkick, getting the cover for a two count. Rey backed away a bit before charging towards DiBiase, who caught him with a huge lariat. Mysterio was able to get out when DiBiase covered him. He made the tag to McGillicutty, who stomped away on Mysterio for a bit before locking him in a rest hold. Mysterio began clapping as the audience joined him to help him out. He hit McGillicutty with a few elbows, breaking free. He tried to run and make the tag to Sin Cara, but McGillicutty grabbed him by the front of his mask and pulled him down. McGillicutty rammed his knee into Mysterio's back a few times before making the tag to DiBiase. He placed Mysterio in a corner, hitting him with a few knife edge chops. He whipped Mysterio into the opposite corner, his chest bouncing violently off of the turnbuckle. DiBiase repeated the irish whip, just punishing Rey at this point. When DiBiase attempted it for a third time, Rey leaped onto the second rope and came down onto him with a Crossbody. He made the hot tag to Sin Cara, who bounced off of the top rope and hit Ted with another Crossbody. Cara ran the ropes and caught Ted with a quick Hurricarana, getting the cover for a two count. Cara went for another Hurricarana, but DiBiase put a halt to his momentum with a Titl-A-Whirl Backbreaker. He covered Sin Cara, who kicked out in time. DiBiase made the tag to McGillicutty, who climbed up onto the top turnbuckle. He went for an Elbow Drop, but Cara moved out of the way and tagged in Mysterio. Rey came in hot this time, taking down McGillicutty with a Seated Senton before knocking Ted off of the ring apron. Sin Cara then ran towards DiBiase's side of the ring, hitting him with a Crossbody from the apron. In the ring, McGillicutty found himself in 619 position. Before Rey could hit it, McGillicutty dodged it. He kneed Mysterio in the gut before planting him with the Perfect Plex, Sin Cara sliding in too late as the official made the three count. | Ted DiBiase and Michael McGillicutty are still your WWE Tag Team Champions |
Sin Cara held his head in disappointment as he knew he missed the opportunity to prevent the pinfall. The official handed McGillicutty his title as DiBiase rolled into the ring, receiving back his title as well. The two third generation stars raised their championships high in the air, celebrating the biggest victory of their reign yet.
Backstage, WWE Champion Wade Barrett was shown in his locker room preparing for the Fatal Four Way when he suddenly stopped with a shocked expression on his face. "And what the bloody hell are you doing here?" The camera then showed the Rated R Superstar Edge to a huge pop from the audience. Edge said that he doesn't live too far from Raleigh and decided to visit tonight. "Close call last Monday," said Edge in reference to Dolph Ziggler's near cash-in. Barrett said that everyone is overreacting to that. "If Dolph had cashed in on Monday, I would've beaten him and put a smudge on that briefcase's history." Edge told Barrett that if anyone knows the power of the Money In The Bank briefcase, it's him. And if anyone knows how to calculate the right opportunity, it's him as well. And he knows that tonight is that opportunity for Ziggler. "You, Cena, Punk, and Miz are going to destroy each other out there. I guarantee that whoever wins that match, won't look like a winner at all. Battered, beaten, and fatigued. Which makes for the perfect opportunity for Ziggler to cash in. All I'm saying, Wade, is that if you retain the WWE Championship, keep your eyes open after the bell rings. Because you're not safe."
Parking Lot Brawl Alberto Del Rio vs. Brodus Clay
| In the parking, several cars were shown in the formation of a circle as Brodus Clay's theme it. He walked into the circle, where Ricardo Rodriguez was waiting for him. Ricardo, who looked frightened, said that Alberto Del Rio had another message for him. Instead of listening, Brodus grabbed Ricardo by his hair and tossed him into the hood of one of the cars. Del Rio tried to sneak up behind Brodus, but he was alerted and struck first. Brodus tossed Del Rio into a car door before beating him with several strikes and knees. He opened the door, placing Del Rio's head inside. Fortunately for Del Rio, he was able to squirm away before Brodus could crush his head. Del Rio hit Brodus with a low blow before catching him with an Enziguri. Del Rio opened the trunk of one of the cars and pulled out a tool box. He took out a wrench, striking the Funkasaurus in the side of the head with it. With Brodus out, Del Rio got into one of the cars. He revved the engine as Brodus stirred to his feet. Del Rio tried to run down Brodus, but he moved out of harm's way as Del Rio crashed head on into another car. He got out of the vehicle, charging towards Brodus. The Funkasaurus hit him with a headbutt to his sternum. Brodus placed Del Rio's upper body inside a trunk, repeatedly slamming the door onto him. Brodus took Del Rio back into the circle, lifting him in Powerslam position. As Brodus was charging, Del Rio slid off of his shoulders. The Mexican Aristocrat charged towards Brodus, who caught him with a Scoop Slam as Del Rio's feet broke the windshield. Del Rio was perched against the front of a car as Brodus splashed into him. Del Rio was out as Brodus placed him into the car that he crashed earlier on in the match. In a scene similar to RAW a few weeks back, Brodus tossed over the car that Del Rio was inside of! "That's it! You gotta stop this!" shouted Michael Cole on commentary as the official quickly called for the match to be stopped. And just like that, the bout was over. | Brodus Clay defeats Alberto Del Rio |
Brodus raised his arms in victory as tons of officials and medics were on the scene, trying to get Del Rio out of the crushed vehicle. A replay of Brodus tossing the car over was shown, the commentators asking just how bad Del Rio's injuries may be. Ricardo was shown shouting Del Rio's name as he tried to assist helping him out. Brodus Clay has won the Parking Lot Brawl, and by the look of things, the war against Del Rio.
A video promo was shown for the WrestleMania XXVIII DVD, available now.
Backstage, AJ and Kaitlyn were shown in the Divas locker room discussing last Monday's double date that went array. Kaitlyn said that she's just glad Johnny Curtis is still feeling the effects of Ryback. She then asked AJ if she's feeling alright. When AJ asked what she was talking about, Kaitlyn said that she's known AJ for years now and hasn't seen anything like before. "When you and Daniel first got together, you were the happiest I've ever seen you. But since he won the World Heavyweight Championship, you've been miserable." AJ said that she isn't miserable at all. Daniel has been nothing but a gentleman to her, and she couldn't be any happier. "Is that you talking? Or Daniel?" asked Kaitlyn. AJ remained silent for a bit before Kaitlyn told her that she needs to stand up for herself. "If you're not happy with Daniel, don't be afraid to let him know."
Singles Match Big Show vs. Kane
| The bell sounded as SmackDown's two giants came face to face. Kane delivered the first shot, striking Show with an uppercut. Show retaliated with a knee to the gut, delivering a few body shots as he cornered Kane. The Big Red Monster hit Show a few times in the back, soon getting him to his knees. He grasped Show's throat, getting him into the center of the ring. Show also grabbed Kane's throat, the two monster trying to choke the other out. As they were both fading, Kane kicked Big Show in his leg before hitting a running DDT. Kane covered Show to get a two count. The Big Red Monster picked Show up, but was hit several times in the rib area. Show headbutted Kane as he backed away into the ropes. Show charged towards him and clotheslined Kane over the top rope and onto the floor. Show went to the outside, placing Kane against the barricade as he hit him with a huge chop to the chest. Kane then backed away as Show got him against a ring post. Kane was able to move out of the way during a chop attempt as Show's palm collided with the ring post. Kane pushed Show front-first into the steel ring post, sliding back into the ring as the official neared the ten count. The bout didn't end there as Show managed to get in the ring in time. Kane attempted to slam Show, but the weight of the World's Largest Athlete was too much as he stumbled and fell. Kane was able to kick out in time. As Kane stirred to his feet, Show Speared him into a corner. He delivered a few more body shots to Kane before placing him on the top turnbuckle. Show stepped onto the second rope as the audience stood up, anticipating another ring collapse. That wasn't the case as Kane was able to fight back, hitting Show with a few headbutts as he fell and crashed onto the mat. The ring shook as Show's back crashed into the canvas. He stirred to his feet, but was taken back down as Kane leaped off of the top turnbuckle with a Flying Clothesline. He waited for Big Show to get back to his feet, having his hand ready for the Chokeslam. Kane grasped Show's throat and successfully planted him with the Chokeslam, but Show managed to kick out just in the nick of time. Kane picked Show back up, looking to his the Chokeslam again. But Show was able to counter it and ram Kane into a corner once again. This time, Show stepped onto the second rope as he looked down at Kane's face. He curled his hand into a fist as he let out a huge shout, getting ready to knock out the Big Red Monster. However, Kane was able to grab Show in Powerbomb position and hit him with it. He crawled on top Big Show, hooking the leg as he got the three count. | Kane defeats the Big Show |
Kane slowly stood to his feet, showing the effects of this hard-fought battle. Show remained motionless on the mat as the Big Red Monster stood over him in victory, performing his fire taunt before making his way to the back.
Backstage, Scott Stanford was standing by with one of the four participants in tonight's main event for the WWE Championship, The Miz. Stanford asked Miz for his thoughts on the Fatal Four Way match, and his confidence going in. "Really? Really? You're going to ask me if I'm confident in my ability to win tonight?" Miz said that just like every other match he's ever competed in, he's going not thinking, but knowing that he will walk out victorious. And in tonight's case, he'll walk out with the WWE Championship. "And tomorrow night on RAW, there's going to be a celebration. A celebration of not only my becoming of WWE Champion, but a celebration for the launch of the greatest talk show in WWE history. With the championship draped over my shoulder, I welcome all hates and lovers to the debut of my new show, Miz TV."
Returning to ringside, Michael Cole stated that he cannot wait for the debut of Miz TV tomorrow night on RAW. "How good is Miz going to look on his new show with the WWE Championship?" he asked. Lawler said that he knows someone who won't be looking good tomorrow, and that's Daniel Bryan because coming up next, he defends the World Heavyweight Championship against the vicious and calculating Randy Orton. A video package was shown, taking us back to Daniel Bryan's championship win at WrestleMania. But since capturing the gold, Bryan's attitude has seen a dramatic change. Whether it's his mistreatment of his girlfriend AJ, or his over the top "Yes!" celebrations, Bryan seems to be a new person. One man who has been very vocal of Bryan's cowardism is Randy Orton, who became the No.1 Contender after winning a Fatal Four Way Elimination match. Can Bryan find a way to hold onto the World Heavyweight Championship and further boost his own ego? Or is the Age of Orton upon us once again?
World Heavyweight Championship Daniel Bryan (c) vs. Randy Orton
| After the bell sounded, Bryan put a stop to the match for a bit as he asked for AJ to climb onto the ring apron. After she did, the two shared a kiss. When Bryan turned around, Orton nearly struck him with the RKO, but the World Champion was able to push him away and roll out of the ring. Orton ran after Bryan, who grabbed AJ and used her as a shield. He then slid back into the ring as Orton followed him in, but Bryan got the better of the Viper as he stomped away on him for a bit. Bryan went for the LeBell Lock early, but Orton fought of it. Bryan went back on the attack, but didn't get much offense there as Orton struck him repeated shots to the head. Orton tossed Bryan back out to ringside, AJ watching from a few feet away. Orton attempted to whip Bryan into the steel ring steps, but it was countered as the Viper crashed shoulder-first into him. With Orton perched against the step, Bryan delivered a Running Dropkick to his upper body/head area. Bryan rolled Orton back into the ring, covering him to get a two count. As Bryan was running the ropes to charge towards Orton, the Viper caught him by surprise with a clothesline. Orton hit him with two more before hitting Bryan with an Atomic Drop. Bryan crawled towards a corner as Orton went after him, the official coming between them. Without the referee looking, Bryan caught Orton with a thumb to eye. With Orton temporarily blinded, Bryan ascended up to the top turnbuckle and came down with a Dropkick to Orton. He Viper was on his knees as Bryan hit him with multiple kicks to the chest, shouting "Yes!" after every single one. He then finished off the combination with a huge kick to the back of Orton's head, quickly getting the cover. To the surprise of Bryan and many others, Orton managed to kick out. Before Orton could get to his feet, Bryan delivered multiple elbows to his head and neck area, trying to wear down the Viper. Orton looked to be fading from the pain as Bryan locked in the LeBell Lock. Similar to what happened to Jericho at Extreme Rules, Orton was fading away as Bryan pulled back violently. Orton somehow found a second wind as he was able to roll the lock into a pinning combination. Bryan released the hold to prevent his shoulders from being counted to the mat. Bryan charged towards Orton, who took him down with a Scoop Slam. The Viper began coiling as Bryan stirred to his feet, the audience going wild. Orton tried to hit the RKO, but Bryan countered it and placed Orton in a Sleeper Hold. Orton faded away before Bryan released him, allowing the Viper to stumble to the mat. Bryan went out to the ring apron, shouting "Yes!" repeatedly once again as the audience booed him. He springboarded off of the top rope, but was caught with a mid-air RKO! Orton couldn't get the cover immediately as he was still worn out. He crawled towards Bryan, getting the cover as the World Heavyweight Champion managed to kick out just before the official could count three. Orton then backed away from Bryan as he began to stir. Orton saw an opportunity to strike, going for the Punt Kick. Bryan was able to dodge it as Orton charged towards him with a Clothesline. However, Bryan was once again able to move out of harm's way as Orton inadvertently struck the official. Bryan quickly responded by locking his arms around Orton's waist, dropping him on the back of his head with a German Suplex. Bryan had the pin on Orton, but there was no official. Wanting to take advantage of the situation, Bryan asked for AJ to hand him the World Heavyweight Championship. Hesitantly, she grabbed the title and slowly approached Bryan. She handed him the title, but for some reason, she didn't let go of it. AJ looked frozen in place as Bryan tried to pry the title out of her hands. After he did, he turned around and was met with an RKO! Orton covered Bryan as the official crawled towards them, making the slow three count. | Randy Orton is your NEW World Heavyweight Champion |
The audience here in Raleigh erupted as Orton was handed the World Heavyweight Championship. He raised it high in the air as AJ looked on in horror, knowing that she had inadvertently cost her boyfriend the World Title. Or was it inadvertent? Either way, she quickly made her way to the back to avoid Bryan's wrath. After Orton left with the gold, Bryan regained his consciousness in the ring as he realized what had happened. He repeatedly shouted "No!" as the audience responded with "Yes!" He stormed up the entrance ramp, shouting AJ's name as he too knew she had cost him the gold.
A promo was shown for the WWE's anti-bullying campaign, Be A Star.
Divas Championship Eve (c) vs. Beth Phoenix
| As Eve was making her entrance, her body language and facial expressions told the entire story of her fear. She turned away from the ring and walked up the entrance ramp, but Beth exited the ring to go after her. She grabbed Eve by the hair, throwing her into the ring as the bell sounded. Beth tackled Eve to the mat, repeatedly ramming the back of her head into the canvas. Beth hoisted Eve up, driving her gut onto her knee. Beth got the cover, but Eve managed to kick out in time. She picked Eve up once again, tossing her to the outside. When Beth stepped out onto the ring apron, Eve pulled her leg and caused her to fall face first onto the apron. When Beth got to her knees, Eve charged towards her with a running knee. She rolled Beth back inside, getting the cover for a two count. Eve tried to keep the Glamazon grounded, stomping on her repeatedly. Beth rolled out of the ring and was able to grab Eve's legs. She pulled the Divas Champion out of the ring as Eve crashed hard onto the floor. Beth picked Eve up, locking her arms in position for the Glam Slam as she was looking to hit it on the outside. Eve was able to run backwards and ram Beth into the steel ring post. She rolled Beth back into the ring, once again getting a good near fall. Eve went for her signature Neckbreaker, but Beth countered it after hitting a few elbows to the back of her head. She planted Eve with a German Suplex, the champion able to kick out just in the nick of time. Beth grabbed Eve and tossed her into a corner, hitting her with a few knife edge chops. She backed away into the opposite corner, looking to connect with a huge splash. Eve was able to move out of harm's way as Beth crashed into the turnbuckle. Eve rolled up Beth with her feet on the rope, using dirty tactics to steal the victory and retain her title. | Eve is still your Divas Champion |
Eve quickly rolled out of the ring, wanting to escape Beth Phoenix as quick as possible. She was handed back her Divas Championship as she hurried up the entrance ramp, not stopping for anything else other than receiving her title. Beth looked on in anger and disappointment, knowing that she failed to reclaim the Divas Championship, not because she didn't put up a good fight, but because Eve found a way to squirm away.
At this time, another mysterious promo for Bray Wyatt was shown. "Memories are what you make them. I have a few memories....from back when I was just a little Bray Wyatt. My Daddy used to take me out on his shrimp boat. He found some enjoyment out of it...but I....I hated it. Watching him take all of those fish out of the ocean and use them for his own satisfaction. That bothers me because I see myself as the ocean. I oversee millions of people who have chosen to lend me their hands! And if someone tried to take my people away from me, I'd rip their hands off! And that's exactly what happened to my Daddy. One day, his boat caught on fire.....with him in it....haha. I remember where I was when I heard the news that his boat got torched. Just like people remember where they were when they heard about the deaths of JFK and Martin Luther King....and in 24 hours....you will all remember exactly where you were......tiiiime is on my siiiide." Witness the debut of Bray Wyatt, tomorrow night on RAW.
Belfast Brawl for the Intercontinental Championship Antonio Cesaro (c) vs. Sheamus
| Sheamus didn't waste any time getting the match underway as he went right after Cesaro during his entrance. The Swiss Sensation swung the Intercontinental Title at his head, but Sheamus ducked the shot as whaled away on him with closed fists. Sheamus attempted to whip Cesaro into the barricade, but it was countered as the Great White was the one tossed into it. Cesaro looked under the ring, pulling out a trash can. As Cesaro approached him, Sheamus Brogue Kicked the trash can out of his hands! Cesaro stopped for a moment, allowing Sheamus to get the better of him. He threw Cesaro head-first into the steel ring post. Sheamus grabbed the trash can that he kicked out of Cesaro's hands, slamming it into the back of the Intercontinental Champion. Sheamus tossed Cesaro into the ring before looking under the ring and bringing out a kendo stick. Cesaro backed into a corner as Sheamus approached him with the stick, the Intercontinental Champion begging him not to strike. Sheamus swung the stick at Cesaro's head, but he was able to duck as it only made contact with the turnbuckle. Cesaro rammed Sheamus into the corner, taking the stick for himself. He struck Sheamus a few times in the back and on his shoulder, the red marks visible on his pale skin. Cesaro was looking to hit the Ricola Bomb, but Sheamus fought out of it and dropped him with an overhead slam. Cesaro backed against the ropes as Sheamus hit him with a Brogue Kick, sending him to the outside. Sheamus picked Cesaro up, sending him crashing into the Cole Mine! Cole ducked underneath his table to prevent the structure from falling on him, and to hide from Sheamus. Sheamus tossed Cesaro back into the ring, barely missing the three count. Sheamus began beating his chest, gearing up for another Brogue Kick. Cesaro dodged it, grabbing Sheamus' arms and locking them in place. He delivered a few headbutts to the back of Sheamus' neck. The Great White back against the corner as Cesaro hit him with a few uppercuts. Cesaro stepped onto the second rope as he hit Sheamus with several strikes before the Great White was able to toss him off and to the outside. Cesaro stirred to his feet as Sheamus charged towards him, but Cesaro countered it into an Overhead Slam onto the floor. Cesaro picked up the steel steps, stalking Sheamus before striking him with it. He slid the steps into the ring before tossing Sheamus back in. Cesaro got the cover, but Sheamus still managed to kick out. He then put Sheamus into position for the Ricola Bomb, but Sheamus tossed him over hos head as Cesaro's back crashed onto the steps. Sheamus then went to the outside and looked under the ring once again, this time pulling out a shillelagh. Sheamus ascended to the turnbuckle, waiting for Cesaro to get to his feet. Sheamus leaped off with the shillelagh, but Cesaro caught him with the Swiss Death Uppercut in mid-air! He then took the shillelagh, leveling Sheamus across the face with it. Finally, Cesaro planted Sheamus with the Ricola Bomb onto the steel steps, covering him to get the victory. | Antonio Cesaro is still your Intercontinental Champion |
The audience booed as Cesaro was handed back his Intercontinental Championship, raising it high in the air as he held the side of his head in pain. Several replays of this bout were shown, the commentators putting over what both men had to endure. But in the end, Antonio Cesaro will be walking away from the battle still the Intercontinental Champion, and possibly, the war.
A promo was shown for this Wednesday's edition of WWE NXT. In the Semi-Finals of the NXT Championship tournament, Seth Rollins battles Damien Sandow, and Alex Riley takes on Kassius Ohno. Who will advance to the Finals on the first ever live edition of NXT from Full Sail University on May 30th?
Returning to ringside, the carnage from the previous match was shown as the commentators quickly gave their remarks. Cole stated that while we just witnessed an immeasurable amount of carnage, we may see more up next because the WWE Championship will be up for grabs in a Fatal Four Way match.
WWE Championship Wade Barrett (c) vs. CM Punk vs. John Cena vs. The Miz
| After the bell sounded, all four men glanced at each other as they positioned themselves in a corner. CM Punk struck first, charging towards Wade Barrett and hitting him with a running high knee. Cena and Miz went after each other, Cena getting the Awesome One in a corner as he struck him repeatedly. Punk and Cena had the same idea as they both attempted to irish whip Barrett and Miz into the opposite corner. Instead, Barrett and Miz crashed into each other. Cena then went after Punk due to what happened between them on SmackDown. They traded blows in the ring for a bit before Cena grabbed Punk by his head and tossed him over the top rope. Punk managed to hang on and returned the favor to Cena by tossing him over the top. Cena also held on as he and Punk battled again, this time with Punk getting the upperhand. He ran the ropes and attempted to clothesline Cena, who dodged it. Punk didn't stop though as he delivered a Suicide Dive through the second rope, crashing onto Barrett and Miz. Cena ascended up the top turnbuckle, leaping down onto his three opponents in an uncharacteristic move from him. He tossed Barrett into the ring, looking to defeat the champion. Barrett managed to kick out at two as Cena picked him up, going for the Attitude Adjustment. Barrett slid off of Cena's shoulders, hitting him with a few closed fist shots. On the outside, Punk was attempting to get into the ring, but he was stopped by Miz. He rammed Punk's lower back into the ring apron before striking him with repeated shots. Barrett whipped Cena into the ropes, attempting a clothesline that he ended up missing. Cena hit Barrett with a running shoulder block. Preparing for the Five Knuckle Shuffle. As Cena was going for it, Miz hit him with a clothesline. He stomped away on Cena for a bit before Barrett joined him. They delivered a double suplex before fighting over the cover on Cena. The two heels traded blows for a bit until Punk hit them with a springboard clothesline. Punk tried covering all three of his opponents, but each kicked out. Barrett was up first as Punk delivered a few kicks to his chest. He went for a flying forearm, but Barrett countered it into the Winds of Change. He covered Punk, but Cena broke up the pin attempt. Cena backed Barrett against the ropes, delivering a few body and head shots. The Miz snuck up behind Cena, locking him in position for the Skull Crushing Finale. Barrett attempted to take Cena out with a Big Boot, but he ducked it as the defending champion caught Miz instead. Barrett turned around was hoisted up to Cena's shoulders. CM Punk kicked Cena in the kidney area, causing him to fall and release Barrett. Punk planted Cena with a running bulldog, covering him to only get a two count. As Punk was getting to his feet, Miz attacked him. He tossed Punk to the outside, where he attempted the Skull Crushing Finale. Punk was able to fight out of it, connecting a few elbows to Miz's head. Punk kneed Miz in the gut a few times before doing so to his head. Punk grabbed a steel chair, nailing Miz in the back with it. He continued to do so until Miz fell back onto the announce table. Punk had an idea as he ascended up to the top turnbuckle, the audience cheering him on as he pointed up to the sky. Punk then leaped off of the turnbuckle and hit Miz with an Elbow Drop through the announce table! The audience chanted "Holy sh*t" as both Punk and Miz were out on top of the shattered remains of the table. In the ring, Cena and Barrett were battling it out as Barrett planted him with a Pump Handle Slam. Cena was able to kick out at two. Barrett taunted the audience a bit as they showered the WWE Champion with boos. As he was picking Cena up, he found himself locked in an STF. Cena had the hold in tight, punishing Barrett as it looked like he would submit at any moment. That wasn't the case as he reached the bottom rope. Cena pulled Barrett into the center of the ring, but was kicked away into the ropes. Cena managed to duck a Clothesline from Barrett and lifted him into position for the Attitude Adjustment. Before Cena could hit it, Dolph Ziggler hit the ring with his Money In The Bank briefcase, nailing Cena in the lower back with it. Barrett quickly chased Ziggler out of the ring, trying to prevent him from thinking about cashing in. Barrett then lifted Cena up to his shoulders, hitting Wasteland onto Cena as he covered him to get the victory. | Wade Barrett is still your WWE Champion |
The audience booed heavily as Barrett was announced as the winner, the official handing him back his WWE Championship. Dolph Ziggler made his way back up the entrance ramp smiling as his intentions became clear. He wasn't looking to cash in his Money In The Bank briefcase tonight. He was only looking to screw John Cena out of the gold, which he successfully did. More officials attended to Punk and Miz, who were still laid out after Punk's Elbow Drop through the table. Barrett raised the WWE Championship high in the air, leaving his biggest challenge yet and Over The Limit with the gold still intact.

WWE Over the Limit: Sunday 20th May 2012...Pay-per-view time again...it's rolled around pretty quickly. Kofi Kingston had to get a win against Heath Slater on the YouTube pre-show, that's fine by me. A good way to start off the show with a strong singles match showing between Chris Jericho and Cody Rhodes, nice. One thing I've neglected to say about this feud in the past is how I feel like Chris Jericho was a little rushed into this feud after being taken out by Daniel Bryan whilst playing the heel role. Three weeks is too quick, I think. I would have left it until the June pay-per-view, but nevermind, this works too I suppose. Jericho winning cleanly was a feel-good start to the show, but I really hope that this feud is not over yet. A feud like this could easily regenerate Cody and push him to the next level. Ah, Ric Flair gets his own skybox, I like it! Up next, a fair triple threat match for the WWE United States Championship; good call to have this match on so early in the show, with a fatal four-way main eventing the card. Evan Bourne pinning his own ally is a definite sign of revenge in store for Bourne when Christian confronts him about it. Safe to say we have our title match booked for June already, nice. I wonder where Zack Ryder can go from here, though. Ah, No Way Out is the June pay-per-view, like in real life. A steel cage theme is cool, but I'm really not that sure about having two of them, ah well; at least it isn't Lockdown. Daniel Bryan manipulating AJ is a nice touch to his heelish persona. Up next, destiny's time for Michael McGillicutty and Ted Dibiase. Sounded like another solid match, and I'm so glad that McGillicutty and Dibiase managed to retain the WWE Tag Team Championships cleanly: for realism's sake however, I think it would have been better to have Sin Cara take the final fall, with Rey Mysterio rolling in at the last second. Wade Barrett gets confronted by Edge: nice! Glad that Barrett got a segment like this, wise decision to establish the relatively-new WWE Champion some more on the night of the show. Hmm, I think that it would have been better to have Alberto Del Rio win this match since I think there's more of a character direction in store for him in comparison to Brodus Clay: plus Clay has now won two straight pay-per-view matches against Del Rio, it just looks unpleasant for Del Rio's momentum. Sounded like a fun Parking Lot Brawl though, that's for sure. I'm wondering if that finish will take Del Rio out of action for a while, if so, that's definitely a positive thing: he's been getting quite stale recently. AJ and Kaitlyn having problems because of Daniel Bryan is great, I like how this made the pay-per-view, too. Kane and Big Show's match, nothing that interesting really. Kane with the win was interesting, though. Nice pacing to have each of the four main eventers in tonight's WWE Championship get talk-time, it's little touches like these that makes these matches more interesting for the reader. Miz TV debuting this soon? I sort of like it. Almost a definite sign that he won't be walking into RAW tomorrow night as WWE Champion, though. Up next, awesome write-up for Daniel Bryan and Randy Orton's encounter. Sound World Heavyweight Championship match to bring us into the third hour of the show, good work. I do not approve of Orton winning the title this soon, though; I think you could easily arch this storyline out more, with Orton chasing the title for longer than three weeks. Maybe Bryan slyly escaping Orton, just to be shut down for next month's steel-cage war at No Way Out. Ah well, I just don't like that Bryan's reign was so short. AJ potentially costing Bryan the title will surely cause trouble in paradise (hurhur Kofi Kingston) for the couple, though. The WWE Divas Championship match was what it was, and I like that Eve managed to walk out victorious thanks to cheating. Beth Phoenix is not done with Eve. Wow, I almost forgot about the Belfast Brawl. Solid match-up, but I think it was a little too late on in the show for a newcomer like Antonio Cesaro honestly. Awesome WWE Intercontinental Championship defense to strengthen Cesaro against Sheamus: hopefully Sheamus manages to rebound soon, though. It did sound like a violent match - also good job in having this separated from the Parking Lot Brawl. It doesn't give us the sense of overkill that Extreme Rules presented. And finally, the WWE Championship main event. Great write-up once again as always, and Wade Barrett walking out somewhat cleanly was good. I'm glad he retained and seemingly passed the test, escaping "transitional champion" mode. Dolph Ziggler costing John Cena the title must create a storyline between the two, which could definitely elevate Ziggler for sure. But yes, overall this show was quite packed, a few modifications would have made it even better though. I'm intrigued by what you have in store for the steel-cage match themed No Way Out pay-per-view next month though, good job.

I love how Michael Cole is in the Cole Mine. A good win for Jericho, yet Cody looked really strong in the loss. I would really like to see the feud progress on. Having Cody win next month, then blowing it off in the rubber match. Either way, Rhodes looked really good and should help him push through to the next level. Typical Flair, getting his own sky box. I would love to see segments with him partying in there in vintage Flair fashion. WOW! I wasn't expecting that out of Evan Bourne. I think a young, cocky, heel Evan Bourne should be good against Christian. I really though Rey & Sin Cara were going to win, I'm glad they didn't though. I really like the team of DiBiase & McGillicutty. Hopefully, those two have a long reign in store. Nice backstage segment with Barrett & Edge. Edge saying that tonight's the night for Ziggler to cash in was great. It really built up the possibility of Dolph winning tonight. Big win for Brodus. Not only did he beat Del Rio, he destroyed Del Rio. It looks like this feud is over and I would like to see Brodus kind of move up toward the title picture. I think that he would make for an interesting top contender. I didn't really care for the Show/Kane feud, so Kane winning was fine. Good match between Orton & Bryan. I knew AJ was going to get involved one way or another. It's good to see Orton as champion again. I can see Orton & Bryan rematching next month. It will be interesting to see how Bryan handle the whole AJ situation after tonight, though. Eve retaining was fine. There isn't really a Diva that I care about so much that I'd be upset if they won or lost. There seems to be a lot of running away after the match to avoid someone's wrath tonight. I guess that means we've got a lot of dirty players. Loved the Wyatt promo, can't wait for him to debut. Fantastic match between Sheamus & Cesaro. I love how late on the card it is, I fell like that made it seem even bigger. That's a huge win for Cesaro. He is really looking like a great champion. Great main event. I'm so happy Barrett retained. I liked how it seemed as though Ziggler was going to cash in. I love how the cash-in constantly gets teased. Very well done. Another fantastic show. I really love the graphics you use for your shows. I can't wait to see what happens on Raw. It should be interesting.

Been waiting a while for this one. Fantastic opener and I don't mind seeing Jericho go over as Rhodes put up a great fight. Hopefully he goes over in the course of the feud. Loved the mid air Codebreaker as well, nice touch. Really solid second contest, interested in a heel Bourne and glad he retained. Two Steel Cage matches at No Way Out sounds good. Love seeing the Tag Team Titles getting Pay Per View recognition, glad Dibiase and McGillicutty retained as I like that pairing. Clay/Del Rio is different and not sure on the Parking Lot Brawl stipulation for this feud, maybe I've missed something. It's very possible. Anyway, intrigued by Clay going over. I like the AJ backstage segment. Kane over Show was pretty meh, just not that interested in that match. It was a good write up though. MizTV should be great. Hate seeing Bryan's title reign end, but it was a great match. Loved the mid match mid-air RKO. AJ/Bryan is probably over. Eve retaining is cool. Excellent Intercontinental Title match, stoked that Cesaro retained in a brawl as it puts him hugely over and I love Claudio. Very good main event, lots of star power. So glad Barrett retained as I love him being the WWE Champion. He has so much untapped potential. Also, looking forward to the Dolph Ziggler/John Cena feud. Great show my man, no wonder this is the Spotlight.

I say big win for Jericho but Rhodes put up a good fight here and I honestly thought Cody was going to win this match but Cody at least proved to me here why he deserves to be a future main eventer in this business and just why he will reach the main event, Cody is my pick to win the Smackdown Money In The Bank briefcase in your diary
And can I just say that I love the fact that Flair is back in the WWE and also that he is the new RAW GM, this is great and loved him backstage too
Evan Bourne escapes again, I must say I am loving Bourne's heel turn and I have been loving it and since he is the United States Champion, I can definitely see him losing the title now more than ever and why I say that is because his luck is simply just going to run out as he took advantage of the situation being in the right place in the right time taking Ryder out of the equation and pinning Christian, typical heel move
Can't wait until No Way Out
Love Daniel Bryan's promo heading into his World Heavyweight Championship match against my boy Randy Orton, but Bryan isn't fooling anyone least of all me, because he has to know that he just doesn't have what it takes to beat Randy Orton and having AJ there isn't going to make things any better for Bryan anyway
Kane beating Big Show, that is great, I can only hope Kane now can set his sights on either the World Heavyweight Championship or even the WWE Championship now that Big Show is completely out of his way especially after beating him in what I thought was a great match especially since these 2 former tag team partners have such great chemistry with one another and especially since they have feuded in the past, for 2 giants, they made this match work
Miz's interview just shows he is ready for the Fatal 4-Way Match for the WWE Championship, but what I can't stand is Cole constantly talking about Miz or singing his praises, it is so damn annoying and not to mention no one cares
Yes my boy Randy Orton does it, he is now a YOU GUESSED IT 10-TIME WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION!!!!!!!!!! 10-TIME WORLD CHAMPION!!!!!!!!!!! HE DID IT, 10 TIMES, Orton joins an elite club joining John Cena, Edge, Hogan, Triple H and RAW GM Ric Flair by being the only superstars in WWE history to win 10 World Titles or more by beating Daniel Bryan in what has to be, Match of the Year for me, Match of the Night so far
AJ costing Bryan the title, you know Bryan is going to break up with her now, it is almost inevitable now
Eve escapes again by just barely beating Beth to retain her WWE Divas Championship, only a matter of time before Eve loses it and when she does, I can see her dropping it to AJ, Kaitlyn, Layla or even Kharma if you plan on bringing Kharma back
Bray Wyatt's promo definitely chilling, almost eerie, but what a way to bring Husky Harris back as Bray Wyatt, but Bray Wyatt being a 3rd generation superstar the son of IRS Irwin R. Schyster and the grandson of WWE Hall of Famer Blackjack Mulligan and the nephew of WWE Hall of Famer Barry Windham, Bray Wyatt is no doubt going to be the skeleton in his family's closet that's for sure
Antonio Cesaro beating Sheamus to retain his WWE Intercontinental Championship in a Belfast Brawl, in Sheamus' own environment, just goes to show you that Cesaro can easily adapt to any type of match that he is put in or face anyone, he is definitely bringing prestige back to the Intercontinental Championship making it mean something again like how it was back in the early 1990s preferably 1990-1997 and that this title could perhaps be used as a launching pad towards becoming WWE or World Heavyweight Champion for anyone holding it
And Wade Barrett surviving, the first ever English-born WWE Champion retains his WWE Championship against not only Cena, Miz but Punk too, this is great, but I loved Ziggler's tease at the end with the briefcase by warning Barrett that he better have eyes in the back of his head because at any time Ziggler could cash it in and when he does, then it's all over for him but I love that Ziggler and Cena are going to be feuding
Overall great OTL PPV and I can't wait until the fallout of the PPV on RAW tomorrow and seeing who Barrett's opponent will be for No Way Out

WWE Superstars 5/24 Taping Results Justin Gabriel def. Epico Kofi Kingston def. Drew McIntyre
- After the signature intro and pyrotechnics display, the commentary duo of Michael Cole and Jerry "The King" Lawler welcomed everyone to Monday Night RAW! With just 24 hours removed from Over The Limit, we will find out who is next in line for an opportunity at the WWE Championship, still held by Wade Barrett. A 15-man Battle Royal will take place, with the winner becoming the No.1 contender and earning a title shot next month at No Way Out.
- The crowd silenced the ring was shown set up for the debut of a new talk show, Miz TV. The theme of The Miz hit as he made his way out to the stage, empty handed as he failed to capture the WWE Championship last night at Over The Limit. He stepped into the ring, saying that tonight was supposed to be special. Along with the debut of Miz TV, he was supposed to walk through the curtain with the WWE Championship in his possession for the second time. But that obviously didn't happen. "Not just Miz TV, but the rest of Monday Night RAW is ruined." Miz said that this night has been ruined ever since last. "And despite what many may believe, tonight wasn't ruined as soon as John Cena's shoulders were counted to the mat. It was ruined as soon as CM Punk climbed onto the top rope and delivered an Elbow Drop to me through that announce table." The audience popped as Miz told them to shut their mouths. "And the only reason Miz TV is even happening right now is because it's going to give me the opportunity to confront the man responsible for this night going from good to bad. So my very first guest on Miz TV is the man responsible for my life being hell right now, CM Punk!"
- The crowd erupted as Punk made his way out to the stage, still a little banged up after the amazing Elbow Drop that Miz just made reference to. The audience continued to chant Punk's name as Miz told him that he hopes he's happy. "You deprived the world of something great. Me as the WWE Champion is what's right." Punk told Miz that in his eyes, he saved the world. "I saved everyone from having to sit through another piss poor championship reign of yours." The audience popped as Miz stared a hole through Punk. He said that his reign could only be classified as one thing ..."Awesome." "I was the talk of not just the WWE Universe, but the universe as a whole when I won the WWE Championship! I was in the main event of WrestleMania!" Punk cut Miz off there, saying that's all he has to his name. "We know, Miz. Every single time you have a microphone in your hands, you remind all of us that you main evented WrestleMania. And quite frankly, we don't want to be reminded. Because who really remembers you headlining WrestleMania? You were in the shadow of John Cena and Dwayne, and rightfully so. Because, Miz, you didn't deserve it. You didn't deserve to headline WrestleMania that year. Because you getting the spotlight instead of me was a slap to my face. I am better than you in every aspect of professional wrestling. I took my rightful spot this year in the WWE Championship match at WrestleMania this year, but I'll never able to erase the memory of a time period where some people believed that you were better than me." The crowd roared as Punk dropped a "pipebomb" on The Miz, who still stared at him. "I didn't deserve the main event last year? Why not? Because I 'come from reality?' Because I wasn't a minor-leagues star like you were? I spent years and years proving people like you wrong, Punk! I busted my ass to get to where I am today, and it's because I didn't listen to your kind. I main evented WrestleMania last year because I was better than you. And guess what? I'm still better than you. You call yourself the 'best in the world.' Well guess what? I'm better than the best. And since I apparently need to prove you wrong, I'll do it tonight. Because I'm not just going to beat you, Punk. But I'm going to beat the entire RAW locker room when I win the Battle Royal, go to No Way Out, and once again become WWE Champion. Because I'm The Miz.....and I'm.....better than you." Miz dropped his microphone as he stormed up the entrance ramp, he and CM Punk getting some personal shots in on the debut of Miz TV.

- Returning to Monday Night RAW, United States Champion Evan Bourne was shown backstage, making his way down to the ring. Before he went through the curtain, he was stopped by Christian. The two stared at each other before Bourne broke the silence. "I know what you're thinking. But hear me out. If you were in my position at Over The Limit, you would've done the same damn thing." Christian told Bourne that he understands. "You're right. I probably would have done the same thing. Trust me, there's no hard feeling." Bourne told Christian he knew he would see things his way.
- UNITED STATES CHAMPIONSHIP - EVAN BOURNE DEF. SANTINO MARELLA: A solid United States Championship bout to kick things off on RAW. With Bourne coming off of a successful defense at Over The Limit, he had all of the momentum in the world. As Santino was gearing up the Cobra, Bourne hit him with a Spinning Heel Kick. As Santino tried to stir to his feet, Bourne finished him off with a Shining Wizard to get the victory.
- The audience booed as Bourne was handed back his United States Championship, raising it high in the air. He made his way to the back as the commentators noted that Bourne not only retains his United States Title, he has an opportunity tonight to become the No. 1 Contender for the WWE Championship.
- Backstage, Josh Mathews was standing by with John Cena. Cena received a mixed reaction as Mathews asked for his thoughts on the events at Over The Limit last night Cena said that he has another chance to become No. 1 Contender, and that comes in tonight's Battle Royal. So moving away from the subject of the championship, what he will address is Dolph Ziggler. "If Dolph wants to stick his nose where it doesn't belong, that's fine. But he better understand that there is hell to pay. And I'm calling out Mr. Money In The Bank tonight."
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning to RAW, Derrick Bateman was shown already in the ring as we are ready for the debut of one of the most eerie superstars to come across the WWE in recent memory. The theme of Bray Wyatt hit as he made his way out to the stage with a microphone in hand. "Do your eyes deceive you? Nope! I have arrived, my children! I see the fear in you people's eyes....but there is nothing to be afraid of. I'm here to save you all! To give your meaningless lives direction. Surround me and allow me to baptize you all! You'll all remember exactly where you were at this very second....because it's the moment you found your savior....or maybe...the moment where you all sold your soul to the devil himself......tiiiiime is on my siiiide."
- BRAY WYATT DEF. DERRICK BATEMAN: Not only did Wyatt deliver an eerie promo, it also translated into his in-ring work. After splashing Bateman into a corner, Wyatt danced with his motionless body before letting him fall to the mat. He finally planted Bateman with a Swinging Reverse STO to pick up the win.
- Wyatt gave the camera a sinister smile as he slowly stood to his feet. He picked up Bateman's arm, shaking his hand and saying "Welcome to my church." He made his way to the back, still laughing maniacally as Michael Cole stated that Bray Wyatt has arrived, and the WWE Universe is about to be turned upside down.
- A graphic was shown for tonight's main event. A 15-man Battle Royal, with the winner meeting Wade Barrett for the WWE Championship at Over The Limit.

- A promo was shown for this Friday's edition of SmackDown. After Randy Orton captured the World Heavyweight Championship at Over The Limit, what will the now 10-time World Champion have to say? And what will the consequences be for AJ after inadvertently costing Daniel Bryan the title? Friday Night SmackDown, this Friday on SyFy.
- Returning to the arena here in Richmond, the theme of John Cena hit to a mixture of boos and cheers. He made his way out to the stage, observing the reaction before telling the camera "Think before you act, Dolph." Cena ran down to the ring, quickly grabbing a microphone. He said that as we all know by now, Wade Barrett is still the WWE Champion. And not because he was the better man, but because Dolph Ziggler decided to get involved and screw him out of the title. "You should know by now what happens when you get involved in my business. So Nicky, if you want some, come get some!" Ziggler's theme hit as he made his way out to the stage with his Money In The Bank briefcase. He told Cena that it's cute he has jokes that probably about 2% of the audience will get. "It's also cute to see the WWE's hero display hypocrisy. I stuck my nose in your business? And what about last week, John? I was in the perfect position to become WWE Champion. And for no reason, you attacked me. I did what I did at Over The Limit because I just wanted to finish what you started." Cena told Ziggler that he's wrong there. "You didn't finish anything at Over The Limit. But since you're out here, we can finish it now." Ziggler told Cena that he would rather save his time and energy tonight. "Because even though I have this briefcase, I will still be a part of tonight's Battle Royal. And guess what, John? Your little bit earlier about how you're going to win the Battle Royal is irrelevant. Because I just spoke to Ric Flair, and because you took the pinfall last night, guess what? You won't be in the Battle Royal tonight." Cena was irate as Ziggler continued on. "I know you not being in line for a championship opportunity might be a hard concept to grasp, but it's for the better. Because I will win, become WWE Champion at No Way Out, and perhaps cash this briefcase in and become World Heavyweight Champion. And you'll be looking at the Undisputed Champion. So John, what I'm trying to say is 'you can't see' another title shot." Ziggler laughed to himself before leaving to the back, Cena still furious about not being a part of tonight's No.1 Contender Battle Royal.

- At this time, we were shown footage of R-Truth's visit to a psychiatrist, thanks to David Otunga. The psychiatrist asked Truth why he was there. "I don't know. People say I'm crazy, but I think I'm pretty normal." When the psychiatrist asked Truth if he knows what his IQ is, he exploded. "Why?! Do you think I'm stupid?! Man, I though you were supposed to help me!" The psychiatrist apologized to Truth, telling him it's just part of the procedure. He then told Truth that he understands he's gotten quite comfortable with his wheelchair. "Yup. Just got me a cup holder the other day," said Truth. "But I also understand that you don't need it anymore," said the Psychiatrist. Truth told him that until he's been tossed off of a stage by a homeless-looking man with a sock, don't question him. The psychiatrist was a bit annoyed, but continued on. He then showed Truth an ink blot, asking him what it looked like. "Lil' Jimmy," said Truth. Another ink blot was presented, though he said "Lil' Jimmy" again. One more ink blot was shown as Truth tilted his head to look at it, pleasing the psychiatrist as he thought he would say something else. But that wasn't the case as Truth responded with "Lil' Jimmy" again. The psychiatrist left the office for a bit, meeting with David Otunga outside. "Your client appears to have an obsession with someone named Jimmy," said the psychiatrist as Otunga put his hand over his face, shaking his head in disappointment.
- Returning to Monday Night RAW, AW was shown taking a seat at ringside, ready to observe the final Showcase match in his search for All World Promotion's newest client.
- AW SHOWCASE MATCH - JACK SWAGGER DEF. PERCY WATSON: A decent bout here to cap off the series of AW Showcase matches that have been taking place for a few weeks now. Swagger managed to pick up the win after planting Watson with a Gutwrench Powerbomb.
- Swagger celebrated his victory following the match as AW grabbed a microphone before stepping into the ring. He reminded everyone that as promised, tonight was the final AW Showcase match. "I'll be taking a look back at everyone I observed, and will soon make all of my selections. But I'm ready to make on right now. Who better to represent All World Promotions than the All American American? So ladies and gentlemen, I'm pleased to announce that my first client, Jack Swagger!" AW raised Swagger's hand, the All American American officially being named the first member of All World Promotions.
- At this time, Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler gave an update on Alberto Del Rio, who was inside of a vehicle that Brodus Clay tossed over last night at Over The Limit. They said that Del Rio suffered several broken bones and lacerations, the most severe injury being a spinal compression fracture. It is unknown just how long it will be until we see Del Rio back in the WWE.
- Backstage, RAW General Manager Ric Flair was shown in his office with Ricardo Rodriguez, who was visibly upset about hearing the details of Del Rio's injuries. Flair told Ricardo it's pretty ironic how of all things that may have ended Del Rio's career, it was a car. "But Ricardo, if Del Rio is going to be out for a while, what are you supposed to do?" Ricardo told Flair that he would like to request time off as well, with pay. "No," responded Flair. Ricardo, who was disappointed, asked what else there is he could do. "I don't know. Which is why you're fired." The audience popped as Ricardo was at a loss for words. He tried to speak, but Flair interrupted him. "Del Rio is the one who can't speak right now, not you. I said you're fired. Now leave my arena." Ricardo was on the verge of tears as he stormed out of the room.

- Returning to RAW, janitor Brad was shown mopping the floor in the catering area when he was approached by Josh Mathews. Mathews said that many people in the WWE Universe are wondering just who he is. "I'm just a janitor," he said. Mathews asked why he's been giving superstars advice over the past few weeks. "I don't know, but it's funny how I can't even give myself advice." Brad continued on with his job, Mathews thanking him for his time.
- DIVA'S CHAMPION EVE AND THE BELLA TWINS DEF. KELLY KELLY, KAITLYN, AND ALICIA FOX VIA DQ: About three minutes into this Six Divas Tag Team match, Beth Phoenix hit the ring and took down Kelly Kelly and Brie Bella with a vicious clothesline. The official called for the bell as Beth didn't stop there.
- Alicia Fox tried to make the save for Kelly, but Beth took her down as well. She knocked Kaitlyn off of the ring apron as Eve quickly grabbed her Diva's Championship before storming up the entrance ramp. Nikki Bella tried to escape, but Beth was able to grab her by the hair, throwing her into the ring. Eve watched as Beth planted Nikki with the Glam Slam, the Glamazon making an emphatic statement by eliminating the competition. She motioned for the Diva's Championship as Eve looked on in fear, knowing that he tactics at Over The Limit only fueled the fire in Beth Phoenix.
- Backstage, CM Punk was shown making his way down to the ring for the 15-man Battle Royal up next. Suddenly, he was blindsided by The Miz. Miz threw Punk into a wall, stomping away on him before several officials restrained. "Are you better than me now?!" shouted Miz as the officials attended to the downed Punk.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- A promo was shown for No Way Out, live Sunday June 17th, only on pay-per-view.
- Returning to Monday Night RAW, Matt Striker was shown standing outside of the trainer's room, where CM Punk had been taken because of The Miz's attack prior to the break. Striker said that the trainers informed him that it doesn't look like Punk will be able to compete in the Battle Royal.
- Cutting to the arena, several superstars were shown already in the ring as we are set for the No.1 Contenders Battle Royal. The Miz made his entrance to a chorus of boos due to his attack just now on CM Punk. Zack Ryder, United States Champion Evan Bourne, Christian, Brodus Clay, and Dolph Ziggler all made their entrances next as the ring filled up with superstars, all with one goal - go to No Way Out with an opportunity at the WWE Championship. Before the bell sounded, the theme of WWE Champion Wade Barrett hit as he made his way down to the announce table, joining Cole and Lawler on commentary to watch as his next challenger is determined.
- NO. 1 CONTENDERS BATTLE ROYAL - ZACK RYDER LAST ELIMINATED DOLPH ZIGGLER: As soon as the bell sounded, Heath Slater told everyone to stand back as he stood in the center of the ring. "Next WWE Champion!" he shouted before doing his guitar dance. All of the other superstars attacked Slater before he was tossed out. The next elimination came when Kofi Kingston delivered Trouble In Paradise to Tyler Reks, sending him over the top rope. Tensai then dominated the match for a bit, eliminating Primo, Epico, Curt Hawkins, and Santino Marella. Tensai then met Brodus Clay as the two monsters came face to face. They traded blows for a bit before Tensai backed him against the ropes. He charged towards him, but the Funkasaurus pulled down the ropes as Tensai was eliminated. Seven men remained in the ring as Evan Bourne and Christian worked over everyone else. Suddenly, Christian grabbed the United States Champion and tossed him over the top rope! The audience went wild as Bourne stared at Christian in shock, Captain Charisma smirking at him. Christian returned the favor as Bourne tried to slide back into the ring, but the officials were able to restrain him and force him to the back. As Kofi Kingston was standing on the second rope and delivering shots to The Miz, Dolph Ziggler snuck up behind him and pushed him out of the ring. Christian attempted to plant Zack Ryder with the Killswitch, but Miz was able to grab him and throw him over. The final four men remaining, Ziggler, Ryder, Miz, and Brodus all took a corner as they glanced back and forth at each other. Miz and Ziggler formed a small alliance, tossing the Funkasaurus over together. Their alliance stayed intact as they targeted Zack Ryder. Long Island Iced Z fought back, taking down Ziggler with a Rough Ryder. However, his momentum was shot when Miz planted him with a DDT. The Awesome One stood tall in the ring, picking up Ryder as he was looking to throw him out. Suddenly, CM Punk ran down to the ring, quickly going after Miz. Miz backed against the ropes as Punk charged at him with a clothesline, eliminating the both of them. Punk continued to attack Miz at ringside as several officials restrained him. Punk won't be getting a title opportunity at No Way Out, but for tonight, his concern was getting his hands on The Miz. Dolph Ziggler and Zack Ryder remained as they both stirred to their feet. After Ryder missed the Broski Boot, Ziggler hit him with a Superplex. The Show Off taunted the audience, assuming he would be winning the Battle Royal. At that moment, John Cena hit the ring and delivered an Attitude Adjustment to him! Cena left up the entrance ramp as Ziggler stirred to his feet, using the ropes. When he turned around, he was hit with a clothesline from Ryder that sent him over.
- The audience erupted as Zack Ryder lost it. He jumped into the audience, almost in tears. "Are you kidding me?! This joke?!" shouted Barrett in anger on commentary. Ryder stood on the barricade, staring at Barrett and the WWE Championship as he and the rest of Richmond fist pumped in celebration. The ultimate underdog, Zack Ryder, is on his way to No Way Out with an opportunity to fulfill his dream and become WWE Champion!
