I'm stuck for time, but I do owe you a reply, so I'll reply to SmackDown.
I like the mystery attacked storyline, something I've done in my past diaries. Somehow, I don't think this one involves Muhammad Hassan and Daivari, haha. Heath Slater knows? RK-OH NO! A good victory for Sin Cara and The Usos, but I don't see The Usos as Sin Cara's permanent backup in this feud. Good to see Drew McIntyre defeat The Great Khali, and hopefully McIntyre can move onto bigger things now. Great victory for Randy Orton and Sheamus, and clever to have Heath Slater be put through the table to keep all the men strong. I wonder if Slater will get a push from this. Dean Ambrose is a great character, and I look forward to seeing what you do with him. Hopefully not too many squash matches before he gets a proper storyline. A DQ finish keeps both men strong, but I really hope Christian doesn't become the WWE Champion because I really don't think he's World title material at all. Nice to see Mark Henry stand tall, makes me wonder if Kane will win at WWE: TLC. I'll be happy either way, both are great.

I wasn't much into the Sin Cara/Hunico feud, but let's see what you have in store for that. Good to see McIntyre being pushed. Hope you really do something good with him. TLC seems already like a success. I like the card you brought up, and it will definitely be a great change to see Kane face Henry instead of feuding with Cena.
It seems like I've missed from a great diary. No wonder why it got the spotlight this month.

WWE RAW Supershow: Monday 5th December 2011...I always find the gaps between SmackDown Live and the next edition of Monday Night RAW really long and awkward. Anyways, Michael McGillicutty with a win against Justin Gabriel on Superstars was good, I hope to see McGillicutty go up from here, he's really improving. David Otunga beating Alex Riley was fine, not much to comment on there. Again, Otunga has really improved since the Nexus/NXT days. John Cena opening up the show was fine, discussing who his partner will be, and I liked his promo with The Rock being the focus as well as R-Truth and The Miz, but it sort of shames Miz and Truth, making them look like afterthoughts. I guess you can't get around that though. The Rock via satellite was nice and impromptu, and while it kept their storyline going, didn't d much of anything for anyone else. Enjoyable, not a lot else. Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swaggr beating Air Boom surprised me a little, considering Evan Bourne and Kofi Kingston were in the hotseat for a push recently. Do like it though, and these four guys always put on a great match. Up next, I liked them running into John Laurinaitis. I do like however that he made a match between Bourne and Kofi though, very original booking there for their punishment. Natalya beating Eve, Kelly Kelly and Tamina was fine, didn't do much for me. Interested in how Natalya will fare taking on her partner, Beth Phoenix at TLC. CM Punk beating Alberto Del Rio was good, should have main evented in my eyes though. His promo after the show was nice, liked his encounter with Christian. Up next, Wade Barrett beating Zack Ryder wasn't too surprising, as Wade was the King of the Ring winner last week. I guess Ziggler's challenging for the WWE United States Championship in two weeks then. Mark Henry's interview with Jim Ross was cool, liked his "no joke" ordeal, similar to Big Show's at the moment. Very interested in where this will go from here. And up last, another promo? I'm not so sure about this; too many promos tonight, four matches? Weak. I guess I liked the main event segment though, Mick Foley to return eh? I like it, very cool. Overall, a decent progressive show, but at four matches and promo-heavy, it proved to be one of your weaker shows.
WWE Friday Night SmackDown: Friday 9th December 2011...Jinder Mahal beating Yoshi Tatsu...didn't interest me at all. Ezekiel Jackson beating Tyson Kidd was expected, but poor Tyson. Was very surprised to see Randy Orton and Wade Barrett kick off the show, sounded like a very solid opening contest though. Did like Barrett getting disqualified, stepping on the referee's foot sounded amusing. Up next, nice debut from Dean Ambrose, beating Trent Barreta. Ambrose's promo set up his future very well, interesting to see where his career goes from this point on. Kane's promo was nice I suppose, it basically implemented the World Heavyweight Championship encounter they will have in nine days. I wonder if Mark fears Kane this time around. Ted Dibiase beating Drew McIntyre didn't do a lot for me. I'd rather see Drew over Ted. Following this, a decent tag team match with the right men getting the win. Epico and Primo should be climbing the tag ladder in my mind, as that's the furthest they'll get anyway. The Usos should still get a WWE Tag Team Championship reign going into 2012. And lastly, wow, wasn't expecting Sheamus to win the WWE Intercontinental Championship, always wanted to see a match with Sheamus and Cody Rhodes, I imagine it'd be very hard-hitting. Did like the show closing with Orton mysteriously laid out in the midst of a brawl with Barrett. Interested in who the masked man is. TLC is shaping up nicely, but this show had something about it that made it seem a little weak...but it was an enjoyable show.
WWE RAW Supershow: Monday 12th December 2011...Alex Riley and Mason Ryan with a win against JTG and Michael McGillicutty didn't do a lot for me really. Kelly Kelly with a win against Nikki Bella was fine. Alright, the 2011 Slammy Awards. I usually hate these shows, but let's see what we have in store. Good promo from Booker T to start off the show, interested in the Shocker of the Year opening the show. Edge's retirement rightfully deserved to win in my eyes. But I liked Christian accepting the award on his behalf, and then transitioning to focus on CM Punk and Alberto Del Rio. Good opening contest with Zack Ryder and John Morrison beating Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger, set up the Ladder match for Sunday night well. Beth Phoenix winning the Diva of the Year award was expected, dissension with Natalya eh? Up next, nice to see Jesse James make a return. Air Boom winning was a no-brainer in my eyes. Wow, John Laurinaitis switching the award win to Awesome Truth. I liked the decision. Also, good win for John Cena against the Miz, liked R-Truth assaulting Cena as well. John Morrison facing Jack Swagger on the YouTube exclusive pre-show sounds fair to me. Shame that the Undertaker vs Triple H won over John Cena vs CM Punk, I didn't like the match. Build for Triple H taking on Kevin Nash is cool, was surprised to not see the Undertaker though. WrestleMania XXVIII nears...Rey Mysterio returns! Olé. I wonder when he'll be back full-time. CM Punk winning the Superstar of the Year award was the right move. CM Punk and Kane beating Christian and Alberto Del Rio was a cool main event, and it was a decent close for the WWE Championship's build-up, six days away from TLC. A decent but hype-heavy show this week. Another four-match RAW, I don't like. But the promos had to be done I suppose.
WWE Friday Night SmackDown: Friday 16th December 2011...Three days away from Tables, Ladders and Chairs, nice. Randy Orton's promo was nice, trying to unravel the mystery of the mystery man. Heath Slater's interruption was amusing. I want to see Slater with a push soon. No Superstars this week for SmackDown by the way? Orton's RKO spot was fine. Sin Cara and the Usos against Hunico, Primo and Epico sounded solid, very good opening contest with Cara getting the win. Looking forward to where this Cara and Hunico feud will go next. Drew McIntyre beating the Great Khali was unexpected; McIntyre has been a victim of WWE's "spot-and-start" booking recently, taking out Great Khali, then losing to Ted Dibiase, but now with a win against Khali, he could potentially climb the ladder again. Randy Orton and Sheamus beating Wade Barrett and Cody Rhodes sounded like a decent tag team bout to bring us into hour two. More confusion as to Heath Slater being involved with this tag team picture. I liked Orton fighting him off again though. Dean Ambrose with another win against Yoshi Tatsu was fine, nothing interesting, just to keep Ambrose going. And lastly, Kane beating Christian was a decent main event match, and I liked Christian slying his way out of the match. I guess Mark Henry's hurt, but I hope this doesn't mean another World Heavyweight Championship reign for Kane. Overall, a decent show, and I'm looking forward to TLC this Sunday.

The opening video package started off with a Christmas theme, showing snow falling as a jingle played in the background while a narrator told a children-like story. The video focused on the four matches tonight that embody what the event is all about. A Ladder Match between Zack Ryder and Dolph Ziggler for the United States Championship. "When it's all said and done, one man will not move. But will the other be saying 'Woo Woo Woo?'" An Elimination Tables Match with Randy Orton, Sheamus, Cody Rhodes, and Wade Barrett. "Three of the four will not have a night to remember. But the one left standing will be No.1 Contender."A Chairs Match for the World Heavyweight Championship as Mark Henry defends against Kane. "Two monsters battle with steel chairs in hand. Who will conquer and make SmackDown their land?" And finally, A Tables, Ladders and Chairs Match takes place as CM Punk defends the WWE Championship against Christian and Alberto Del Rio. "Punk, Christian, and Del Rio in a battle for the world to see. Who will stand tall and walk away from TLC?" "Happy Tables, Ladders and Chairs to all. And to all a good fight."
Pyro blasted from the stage as cameras panned over the audience here in Baltimore. The commentary unit of Michael Cole, Jerry "The King" Lawler, and Booker T welcomed everyone to TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs. In one of the most dangerous nights of the year in the WWE, 5 championships will be decided, including the return of Mick Foley as he teams with John Cena to take on The Miz & R-Truth for the WWE Tag Team Championships. Arguably the two best Divas on the roster today battle for the Diva's Championship, Beth Phoenix vs. Natalya. Then, the much anticipated return to Pay-Per-View for the Big Red Monster Kane as he battles Mark Henry in a Chairs Match for the World Heavyweight Championship. And finally, it's the match that the event molds itself after. Tables, Ladders and Chairs with CM Punk, Christian, and Alberto Del Rio for the WWE Championship. And we kick things off with a good ol' Ladder Match. Cameras zoomed in on the United States Championship hanging high above the ring as the bell sounded to kick off TLC.
Ladder Match for the United States Championship
Zack Ryder (c) vs. Dolph Ziggler
It was clear from the bell that the audience was heavily in favor of the defending champion. He and Ziggler locked up, Dolph driving him into the corner. Ziggler hit Ryder with several elbows before backing all the way up. He attempted a dropkick, but Ryder moved out of the way as Ziggler fell flat on his side. Ryder quickly went outside and grabbed a ladder. He slid it into the ring, but Ziggler was able to baseball slide it into his face. Ziggler grabbed the ladder and propped it up, but Ryder was able to pull him off before he could reach the top. The two traded blows with the audience shouting "Woo" for Ryder's shots, and "Boo" for Ziggler's shots. Ryder took Ziggler off his game and pummeled him with multiple shots. With Ziggler down, Ryder began to climb the ladder, only to it pushed over once Dolph was on his feet. Ziggler placed the ladder down on the mat, delivering a scoop slam to Ryder onto it. With Ryder's back on the ladder, Ziggler delivered multiple small elbow drops, looking to finish off with his big win. Ziggler took a bit too long "showing off" as Ryder was able to move out of the way for the big elbow drop, causing Ziggler to land on the ladder. Ryder took the ladder and rammed it into Ziggler's gut before clotheslining him over the top rope. Not looking to finish the match now, Ryder catapulted himself over the top and onto Ziggler. Long Island Iced Z fist pumped with the WWE Universe here in Baltimore before rolling back into the ring. Ryder anticipated Ziggler getting back to his feet to hit the Rough Ryder. Ryder ran towards him, but Dolph was able avoid Ryder's leg as he fell onto the ladder. Ryder seemed to be in excruciating pain as he held his thigh near a corner. Ziggler began climbing the ladder, but Ryder was able to grab his leg. Ziggler tried to kick Ryder off of him, but he was able to grab Dolph's other leg and powerbombed him off of the ladder. Ryder began to slowly climb the ladder, his thigh still giving him some issues. Capitalizing on that weakened thigh, Ziggler delivered a dropkick to it. Ryder fell to the mat and remained there for a bit, still enduring the pain. He was able to get into a corner as Ziggler grabbed the ladder, looking to smash it into the champion. As Ziggler charged, Ryder was able to get his knees up, smashing the ladder into Dolph's face. He rolled out of the ring as he held his face. Ryder limped on his leg as he picked up the ladder, looking to climb it and retrieve hit title. As Ryder was climbing, Dolph rolled back into the ring and delivered a Zig-Zag to Ryder off of the 3rd rung. Ziggler, who could be seen with a bloody nose, grabbed another ladder from the outside and tossed it onto Ryder. As Ziggler tried to climb the ladder once again, Ryder took the ladder that was on top of him and tossed it into Ziggler's back. Dolph dropped to the mat, still standing but holding his back. Ryder delivered multiple strikes and rammed Ziggler's head into the ladder several times as the audience popped heavily. Ziggler back into a corner as Ryder hit him with a Broski Boot. Ryder began climbing the ladder and even touched the strap of the United States Championship, but Ziggler took another ladder and hit Ryder's side with it. Dolph began to climb, but Ryder was able to get his feet a lot quicker than expected. He set up the other ladder on the side Ziggler's, climbing simultaneously with him. The two traded blows at the top until Ryder was able to weaken Ziggler, who was barely hanging onto his ladder by one hand. Ryder then placed one foot on Ziggler's ladder as he hit a Rough Ryder off of the ladder! Ziggler was out on the mat as Ryder quickly climbed up one of the ladders, retrieving his championship.
Winner: Zack Ryder (Still United States Champion)
The audience erupted as Ryder clutched the title to his chest, theme blasting throughout the arena. Ziggler regained consciousnesses on the outside, but realized that he blew his chance at regaining his title. Ryder stood at the top of the ladder as he raised the United States Championship high in the air, solidifying his transition from internet sensation to true WWE superstar.
Cutting backstage, Evan Bourne was shown walking towards the ring as he prepares for quite possibly his toughest match yet. Soon, we was met by the Executive Vice President of Talent Relations and the Interim RAW General Manager, John Laurinaitis. The audience's boos could be heard as Laurinaitis wished Evan luck, extending his hand out. "Go to hell, John" said Evan as he continued on. A video package airs for the upcoming match between the two members of the WWE's most popular tag team in recent memory. In August, Air Boom united, and shortly thereafter became the WWE Tag Team Champions. The duo would go on to light up and dominate the tag division until losing the titles to The Miz and R-Truth due to Christian's interference, which was orchestrated by John Laurinaitis. Laurinaitis then offered Kofi and Bourne a spot on his list list of "endorsed" talent if they dropped their spots on John Cena's Survivor Series team, which the two declined. From there on, Laurinaitis made life hell for the two. They were forced to defend and lose their King of the Ring spots, destroyed by Mark Henry, and had their Slammy nullified. But above all else, Laurinaitis made a match between the two of them for TLC. If a competitive match does not take place, Kofi and Evan will be fired right here tonight.
Laurinaitis' Punishment
Kofi Kingston vs. Evan Bourne
The bell sounded as the two tag team partners stared at each other for a bit. They knew what they had to do as their jobs were on the line. They shook hands before Kofi got Evan in a headlock. Bourne pushed Kofi towards the ropes and caught with a dropkick off the rebound. Bourne quickly went for the cover, but Kofi was able to kick out. Bourne attempted a quick somersault, but missed as Kofi rolled him up. Evan was able to kick out quickly. Kofi caught Evan with a quick clothesline. Evan ducked another one as he dropkicked Kofi to the outside. Bourne was preparing to fly as he dived through the second rope onto his Air Boom partner. Bourne picked up Kofi, who rammed him into the ring point before sliding him back into the ring. Kofi covered Evan, who got a shoulders up at two. Kofi dragged Bourne to the center of the ring as he prepared for the Boom Drop. Evan was able to move out of the way and caught Kofi with a Shining Wizard-esque kick. He then hit a standing moonsault, but failed to get the victory. Evan got the cover, but Kofi managed to kick out again. It was clear that despite their friendship, both men were looking for a victory here at TLC. Michael Cole informs us that both Kofi and Evan are trending Worldwide on Twitter. Bourne climbed up to the top turnbuckle and attempted a hurricarana, but Kofi released Evan as he landed front first onto the mat. Evan stirred to his feet as Kofi attempted Trouble in Paradise, but Bourne was able to back up enough to miss it. He caught Kofi with a high knee to the jaw, sending him back into the corner. Evan stepped up onto the second rope and pummeled Kofi with multiple right hand shots before gripping Kofi's neck and hitting a Springboard DDT. Evan climbed up to the top rope, looking to finish his tag partner with Airbourne. Kofi moved out of the way as Evan landed on his feet. When Evan turned around, he was caught with Trouble in Paradise. Kofi hooked one of Evan's legs, but he was able to place the other on the bottom rope to break the count. Kofi seemed both shocked and slightly frustrated by his partner's resiliency. Kofi patiently waited for Evan as he slapped his hands together repeatedly. He attempted another Trouble In Paradise, but Evan ducked and ran onto the ropes. He went for a moonsault, but landed on his feet as Kofi was able to step back. Kofi then rolled Evan up, but had a handful of tights as the referee made the three count.
Winner: Kofi Kingston
Kofi quickly stood up and raised his arms in victory as the audience, the commentators, and Bourne all stared at him in shock. Uncharacteristically, Kofi used Bourne's tights to steal this victory. He extended his hand out to Evan, shouting "Good match, man." Bourne slapped his hand away, asking what the hell was with him? Kofi seemed to not have known that he did anything wrong as he looked clueless, but the rest of the world saw exactly what he did. Bourne pushed Kofi before leaving the ring, his partner still in denial that he did anything wrong.
Backstage, Christian was shown in his locker room, staring at the Slammy that he accepted last Monday on behalf of Edge. With recent comments from CM Punk, Christian has to be extra motivated to capture the WWE Championship here tonight at TLC.
Cutting to another camera, Evan Bourne was shown barging into John Laurinaitis' office, shouting at him. "Are you happy? You got what you wanted. Air Boom is done." Laurinaitis told Evan that he doesn't think so. He wanted a good match tonight, and he got a damn good one. He doesn't see any reason why they should break up. Bourne told Laurinaitis that Kofi betrayed him and doesn't want anything to do with him anymore. Laurinaitis said that Kofi just got the victory at all costs, which is something he respects. And he also respects Bourne for finally standing up to him. They're now on his good side, so he's going to continue to book them as a team. Bourne stormed out of the room furiously.
Elimination Tables Match for No.1 Contendership to World Heavyweight Championship
Randy Orton vs. Intercontinental Champion Sheamus vs. Cody Rhodes vs. Wade Barrett
Tables surrounded the ring as each men took a position in a corner, ready for battle. The bell sounded as Orton went after Barrett, and Sheamus went after Cody. Barrett retaliated against the Viper with a few body shots before clotheslining him over the top. Rhodes and Sheamus remained in the ring, but Sheamus soon brought the first table into play. He tried to set it up, but Cody attacked him from behind. On the outside, Barrett tried to suplex Orton through a table, but he countered it and tossed Wade into the ring post. Cody set a table in the corner and was looking to irish whip Sheamus, but the Intercontinental Champion was able to counter it into a quick lariat. Orton picked Wade up and backed him against the barricade, hitting a few knife edge chops to the 2011 King of the Ring. Orton positioned Barrett onto a table as he climbed onto the barricade. Before he could come off, Barrett was able to move off the table. Orton quickly grabbed him and began pummeling his head onto ring apron. Sheamus irish whipped Cody towards the table, but he was able to counter it, hitting Beautiful Disaster from the table. Orton attempted to get back in the ring, but Wade grabbed his leg and pulled him off as he bounced his head off the ring apron. Barrett hoisted Orton to his shoulders for Wasteland through a table, but Orton slid off his shoulders and hit a dropkick. Sheamus backed up into the table as Cody charged at him, but Sheamus was able to catch him as he drove him into the opposite corner, ramming his shoulder into hit mid-section several times. Orton placed Barrett onto the announce table as he climbed up onto it. He tried picking up Barrett, but the body shots from Wade dropped the Viper down to one knee. Barrett grabbed Orton's head as he raised his other arm, resulting in boos from the audience. Suddenly, Orton hit an RKO to Barrett through the announce table. The two referees talk about it for a second before deciding to count it. Wade Barrett is eliminated. Barrett, who's been on a massive roll lately, has been the first man eliminated in a huge shocker. Sheamus had Cody in a Power Slam position as he charged towards the table, but Cody was able to slide off his shoulder and hit Cross Rhodes. Orton slid into the ring, planting Cody with an RKO! Orton set the table up in the center of the ring as he stalked Sheamus for an RKO. Sheamus was able to push Orton away towards the ropes as the Great White clotheslined both Orton and himself over the top. They climbed back onto the ring apron at the same time, trading blows. In the ring, Cody picked up the table and rammed it into Orton and Sheamus. Orton was able to hang onto the ropes, but not Sheamus as he fell back onto a table. Sheamus is eliminated. Cody quickly set the table up in the ring, realizing he could finish this right now. He tried to suplex Orton, who was still on the ring apron. Orton fought back with some shots to Cody's body and then a few to his forehead. Orton stepped into the ring, taking Cody down with multiple clotheslines and a huge scoop slam. Cody backed into a corner as Orton hit him with three forearm uppercuts. He placed Cody on the rope turnbuckle as he climbed up, looking to superplex his former Legacy-mate through the table. Suddenly, Orton's masked attacker hit the ring and struck him in the back of his kneecap with a lead pipe, Cody pushed Orton off the turnbuckle as he fell through the table.
Winner: Cody Rhodes
A silence came upon the audience as the masked attacker quickly fled the scene. Cody raised his arms in victory, shouting to the heavens as he is now the No.1 contender for the World Heavyweight Championship. The commentators addressed the masked attacker, who has cost Orton a victory for the second consecutive Pay-Per-View in a row. This time, when the stakes were much higher. Cody dropped to his knees on the entrance ramp, knowing what is in his future - an opportunity to become World Heavyweight Champion.
A promo was shown for the Royal Rumble. 30 men. One goal - headlining WrestleMania XXVIII. Who will be The One? The Royal Rumble is live Sunday January 29th, only on Pay-Per-View.
Divas Championship
Beth Phoenix (c) vs. Natalya
The two Divas who have dominated the division over the past number of months were about to give each other a taste of their own medicine. The bell sounded as the two locked up, matching each other's strength. Beth locked Natalya in a headlock, though she was able to ram the Divas Champion into a corner. Natalya struck her with multiple elbows to gut as the referee backed her away. She charged towards Beth, who put he leg up to catch Natalya right on her jaw. Beth hit a quick Lariat before getting the cover, but Natalya was able to kick out at two. Beth began targeting Natalya's leg, dropping quite a few elbows onto it. Natalya was able to kick her away before taking her down with a Lou Thesz Press. Natalya was able to then hit a suplex, only getting a count of two. She locked a armbar on Beth, who was able to fight out of it with a armdrag. Beth kneed Natalya in her gut before planting her with a DDT. She went for the cover, but again Natalya managed to kick out. Beth grew frustrated as she wanted to finish this bout now. She tried to lock Natalya in her own Sharpshooter, but she was able to kick Beth away. Beth swung her arm, but Natalya ducked and locked her arms around Beth's waist, dropping her with a nasty looking German Suplex. Beth was able to get a shoulder up before Natalya could be deemed the new Divas Champion. She was fired up at this point, getting the crowd on her side as she took Beth down repeatedly with hammer fists. She hit an Atomic Drop on Beth before attempting another German Suplex. Beth was able to slide around and lock Natalya's arms into position before planting her with a huge Glam Slam, covering Natalya to get the victory.
Winner: Beth Phoenix (Still Divas Champion)
Beth was handed the Divas Championship as she raised it high in the air, walking away from one of her hardest fought victories yet. Having overcome the other half of the Divas of Doom, it seems as if Beth is truly unstoppable. Can anybody stop the Glamazon's reign as the Divas Champion?
Backstage, Zack Ryder was shown in his locker room, staring endlessly at the United States Championship with a huge smile lighting up his face. He turned around to be met by John Morrison. Morrison congratulated Ryder on his victory, but reminded him of their deal. "Totally, bro. You deserve a shot at this title, and you're gonna get it." "How about tomorrow night?" asked Morrison. Ryder said that tomorrow may not be the best time because if all goes according to plan tonight, there's gonna be a party in Philly tomorrow night. Ryder slapped Morrison on the shoulder before leaving, Morrison seeming a bit annoyed.
A shot outside the arena was shown, Christmas decorations lighting up the city. Michael Cole stated that he knows someone who loves Christmas more than just about anyone else. When asked who, he said "Jolly Old Saint Mick!" But before Foley can get to Christmas, he has some business to take care because coming up next, the Hardcore Legend makes his in-ring return to the WWE when he teams up with John Cena to take on The Miz and R-Truth for the WWE Tag Team Championships. A video package was shown, highlighting the Traditional Survivor Series Match, where John Cena and The Rock stood tall as the sole survivors. Miz and Truth would take their frustrations out on the team captain Cena, costing him an opportunity at the WWE Championship. Cena would go on to cost The Miz the King of the Ring, leading to John Laurinaitis' announcement of a WWE Tag Team Championship match at TLC if Cena could find a partner. Cena's first choice for a partner was The Rock, who turned down the offer via satellite. However, Rock felt that he owed Cena for inviting him to Survivor Series, so he stated that he would find him a partner. At the end of the night, Cena's partner was revealed to be Mick Foley. The Hardcore Legend returns tonight, but will he walk out of Baltimore one half of the Tag Team Champions? Or will he and Cena "get got" in an "awesome" fashion?
WWE Tag Team Championships
The Miz and R-Truth (c) vs. John Cena and Mick Foley
Despite the mixed reaction for Cena, the audience gave Foley perhaps the biggest ovation of the night. Cena was going to start things off with The Miz, but the huge "We want Foley" chant changed his mind as he tagged Foley in. Miz kicked Foley in his shin, dropping him to one knee. Miz laughed at Foley, asking "Did I hurt you, old man?" He ran against the ropes for a Clothesline, but Foley ducked it and tossed with Miz with an overhead slam. Miz backed into a corner as Foley began striking him repeatedly with furious right hands. The referee backed him away as Miz dropped into a sitting position in the corner. Foley then rammed his knee into Miz before getting the cover, but not the three count. Foley tried to pick Miz up, but he fought back with elbows to Foley's mid-section. He made the tag to Truth, who hit Foley with a dropkick. Foley was able to kick out of the pinning predicament. Truth kept Foley in a headlock for a minute or so as Cena and the audience clapped, trying to get him fired up again. Foley hit Truth's gut with a few elbows, breaking free. However, Truth pulled him back down by his hair, not allowing him to make the tag to the fresh Cena. Truth hit a few leg drops onto Foley before missing one. Foley quickly made the tag to Cena, who took Truth down with multiple running shoulder blocks. He even delivered a shot to Miz, knocking him off the ring apron. He lifted Truth into AA position, but he was able to slide off and ram Cena chest first into the turnbuckle. Cena gasped for air as Truth stomped away on him, soon tagging in Miz. Cena reached for Foley's hand before Miz dragged him back into the center of the ring. He locked him in a single-legged Boston Crab, keeping it in for quite a while. Cena was able to reach the ropes as Miz pulled him back into the center. Cena was able to kick him away, hitting a clothesline once Miz rebounded off the ropes. He was fired up again, hitting the 'Awesome One' with a few running shoulder blocks. He did his "You can't see me" taunt before dropping his fist onto The Miz. He patiently waited for Miz to turn around, hoisting him up for the Attitude Adjustment. Miz countered it into an Skull Crushing Finale attempt, but Cena was able to break out of the hold and make the tag to Foley. The audience went wild as Foley took Miz down with a few clotheslines. He brought out Mr. Socko to a huge pop, looking to stuff it in Miz's mouth. He did so as Miz cried out for help, Truth trying to get involved. With the referee distracted, Miz kicked Foley downstairs to break himself free. He made the tag to Truth, but Cena went after Miz on the outside. The referee tried to separate the two, allowing Truth to grab one of the WWE Tag Team Title belts. He swung it at Foley's head, but he ducked the shot and introduced Truth to Mr. Socko! He let go of Truth to toss the title to the outside. However, the referee glanced over to the ring, seeing Foley with the belt and Truth down on the ground. When the referee began to question Foley, Truth held his forehead and rolled around the mat shouting "I think it's broken!" Assuming Foley had used the belt, he called for the bell.
Winners: The Miz and R-Truth via Disqualification (Still WWE Tag Team Champions)
The audience showered the referee with boos as Foley and Cena were in disbelief. Miz and Truth quickly grabbed their titles and headed for the exit before the decision could be reversed. Foley tried to explain to the referee what had happened. Cena turned the referee around, telling him that Foley was telling the truth. The referee said that the decision was already made and that nothing could be done. When the ref turned around, he found himself with a mouthful of Mr. Socko! The audience erupted as Foley had Socko on the referee until he was out. Cena and Foley stared at each other for a bit as Foley quietly said "I'm sorry, John." Cena raised Foley's arm as the audience applauded them (more so Foley). Cena left the ring, allowing Foley some time with the audience. Taking off Mr. Socko, he slapped the hands of everyone in the front row, thanking them for one final ride in the WWE.
A "Don't Try This at Home" video promo aired.
Returning to the arena, a Christmas party was shown taking place backstage. Teddy Long was dressed up as Santa, asking Hornswoggle what he wanted for Christmas. Soon, the party was interrupted by Dean Ambrose. "You know what I want for Christmas, Teddy? I want the world to understand what's wrong with me. I want everyone to spend a day with my brain. But if that happened, the world would cease to exist because I'm the only man alive capable of carrying my mentality. Put someone else in my shoes, and they'd explode. But that's alright, because the less people on earth, the better it is for me to live." Ambrose left the room as everyone stared at him, Santino saying "You know what I want for Christmas? To never lose my marbles like that guy."
A graphic appears as we are set for the Chairs Match for the World Heavyweight Championship. Since being drafted to SmackDown earlier in the year, Mark Henry has been on a rampage. Tearing right through anything and anyone in his path. At Night of Champions, Henry completed his 15-year journey to become World Heavyweight Champion. Soon, the Big Show returned to step up to the World's Strongest Man. After 3 grueling battles, Henry was finally able to stand tall over Show to not only retain his title, but end his career. Before Henry could re-injure Show, Kane made his return and planted Henry with a Chokeslam. Kane later described his mask as a symbol of his true form - a monster. And it is a monster that is needed to eliminate Mark Henry's "Hall of Pain." Kane makes his Pay-Per-View return, and he looks to capture the World Heavyweight Championship and bring a permanent end to the "Hall of Pain."
Chairs Match for the World Heavyweight Championship
Mark Henry (c) vs. Kane
As Henry was making his entrance, he began tossing the chairs that were propped at ringside into the ring. Kane did the same as the ring was nearly covered in chairs. The two monster met face to face as the bell sounded. Henry took the first shot, sending Kane a few steps back. The Big Red Monster retaliated with a huge uppercut, doing a bit more damage to Henry. As he backed into a corner, Kane pummeled Henry with more shots before irish whipping him into the opposite corner. Kane splashed into Henry in the corner before picking up a chair. He nailed Henry in the back with it as the World's Strongest Man dropped to one knee. Kane delivered one more shot to his back, getting the champion on the mat. Kane covered him, but Henry got a shoulder up at two. Kane grabbed another chair, but Henry was able to get one himself and slam the chair out of Kane's had. Henry hit Kane in the mid-section with the chair before striking him in the back. Henry picked Kane up before bodyslamming him onto the pile of chairs. He went for the cover, though Kane managed to kick out. Henry grabbed another chair as he waited for Kane to get back up to his feet. He was able to dodge Henry's chair shot and deliver a big boot into the chair, smacking it against Henry's face. Kane delivered a leg drop to Henry, but that wasn't enough to finish him. Kane climbed up to the top turnbuckle as he waited for the groggy Henry to stand up. Kane dived off with a clothesline, but Henry moved out of the way as Kane crashed onto the chairs. Henry splashed himself onto Kane, who barely kicked out in time. The World's Strongest Man placed a chair on Kane's ankle as he climbed up onto the second rope, looking to smash the Big Red Monster's ankle once again. Kane was able to slide away as Henry landed awkwardly on his foot. Kane struck Henry multiple times in the back and shoulder area with a chair before grabbing his throat for the Chokeslam. Henry was able to strike Kane's head enough to release the hold. Kane charged towards him, but Henry caught him and planted him with the World's Strongest Slam onto the pile of chairs. Henry stood up, knowing he could've finished Kane right there. However, he was looking to do even more damage to him. Rather than placing the chair on Kane's ankle, he placed it on his neck. Suddenly, the audience erupted as Daniel Bryan hit the ring, picking up a chair and nailing Henry in the back with it! Bryan, who was taken out by Henry last month, delivered numerous shots before finishing him off with one big shot across the side of his face. Bryan quickly exited the ring as the audience shouted his name. Both Kane and Henry stirred to their feet at the same time, but Kane was quicker as he grabbed Henry's throat and hit a Chokeslam onto the chairs. Kane covered Henry, getting the victory and the title.
Winner: Kane (NEW World Heavyweight Champion)'
The resurrected monster Kane stood up to his feet as he was handed the World Title, raising it high in the air. Daniel Bryan looked on from the stage, knowing he just cost Mark Henry the World Heavyweight Title. Pyro shot from the ring posts as Kane will be leaving TLC as the new World Heavyweight Champion.
A promo was shown for the return of Saturday Night's Main Event, January 21st on NBC.
Singles Match
Sin Cara vs. Hunico
An unannounced match here as Sin Cara will be looking to finish his rivalry with the unit of Hunico, Primo and Epico. Before the bell sounded, the official order Primo and Epico to the back. No backup for Hunico as he would have to go alone against Sin Cara. After the bell, Sin Cara quickly slid behind Hunico's and rolled him up, but couldn't get the victory that early. Cara ducked a clothesline from Hunico as he delivered a springboard Hurricarana. Hunico rolled out of the ring to catch his breath for a moment. Cara dived through the second rope, but missed Hunico as he collided with the barricade. Hunico picked him up and tossed him back into the barricade before rolling him back into the ring. Hunico tried to finish off Cara, but he managed to kick out. Hunico jammed his foot into the collarbone of Sin Cara for a bit until the referee pulled him back. He then kicked Sin Cara out of the with a Shining Wizard. Hunico climbed up to the top turnbuckle and came down, but Cara hit a dropkick in mid-air. The both of them remained on the ground in pain, but were able to meet the 10-count. Cara backed up against a corner as Hunico charged at him, but Cara was able to get his knees up in time. He quickly stepped onto the ring apron before hitting a Springboard Crossbody, though he failed to get the victory off of that. Cara clapped his hands repeatedly as the audience joined in, waiting for Hunico to get back on his feet. He attempted La Mistica, though Hunico was able to counter the armbar attempt into a roll up. Sin Cara kicked out and quickly hit Hunico with a Roundhouse Kick. With Hunico, Sin Cara ascended to the top rope, coming down with a Frog Splash to pick up the victory.
Winner: Sin Cara
Sin Cara quickly got up to his feet and raised his arms in victory as the WWE Universe celebrated with him. Epico and Primo made their way down to ringside to help Hunico up the entrance ramp as Sin Cara looked back at them. This time, however, he didn't point at them, signalling that he's ready to move on to bigger and better things on Friday Night SmackDown.
Cutting backstage, CM Punk was shown in his locker room when a producer knocked on his door, letting him know he's on next. A video package was shown for the main event of TLC, the match named after the event. At Survivor Series, CM Punk defeated Alberto Del Rio to become the WWE Champion. While Del Rio announced he would invoking his rematch clause for tonight, Christian won a match to become the No.1 Contender for Punk's championship. He would then win a match between the three of them to determine the stipulation for tonight's match, which he announced would be a Tables, Ladders and Chairs match. The next week, Punk had a few personal words for Christian. The WWE Champion told Christian that he's not the face of TLC matches. That honor belongs to Edge, someone that Christian owes his success to for his retirement. And not just that, Punk told Christian that he's not and never will be better than Edge. This past Monday, Del Rio told Christian that Punk is perhaps correct. Christian would take his frustrations out on the both of them, standing tall with the WWE Championship in his hands.
Tables, Ladders and Chairs Match for the WWE Championship
CM Punk (c) vs. Christian vs. Alberto Del Rio
All three men looked up at the WWE Championship, realizing they would be put through hell to retrieve it. The bell sounded as Christian and Del Rio immediately went after Punk, trying to eliminate the champion from the equation. Del Rio continued to work over Punk as Christian grabbed a steel chair, nailing Del Rio in the back with it. Punk kicked the chair in Christian's face before picking it up, delivering multiple shots to Captain Charisma's back. Punk set the chair up as he sat Christian in it. After numerous strikes and slaps, he Roundhouse Kicked him out of his seat. Punk tried to grab a ladder, but Del Rio got a hold of him and hit a German Suplex onto the floor. He grabbed the ladder and tossed it into the ring as Christian got a hold of it, the two in tug of war. Del Rio hit Christian in the mid section with the ladder before striking him in the face with it. Del Rio set up the ladder, but Punk springboarded himself onto the other side of it. Del Rio hurried up the ladder to stop Punk as the two traded blows at the top. Del Rio knocked Punk off the ladder, though he simply tossed it over, sending Del Rio front first onto the ropes. The champion dived through the second rope onto Christian, making sure he was out as well. Punk tried to climb the ladder, but Ricardo Rodriguez grabbed his leg, trying to pull him off. Punk grabbed Ricardo by his hair, but was soon taken down with a Spear from Christian. Ricardo tried to exit the ring, but Christian got a hold of him. Del Rio struck him in the back with a chair, allowing his ring announcer to leave the ring. Del Rio began climbing the ladder, touching the title's plate with his fingertips. Punk smacked him in the back with a chair, and eventually his rib area to knock him off. As Punk stepped onto the first rung of the ladder, Christian grabbed him and planted him with a Killswitch. Christian could've retrieved the title there, but it seemed that Punk's words about Edge were racing through his mind. He placed a chair under Punk's face as he grabbed one for himself, thinking conchairto. Punk was able to roll out of the way in time as Christian's hands felt the effects of the two chairs smacking each other. Punk grabbed one of the chairs and struck Christian in his mid-section and back. Del Rio stepped onto the ring apron as Punk swung the chair at him, but he managed to duck it. Del Rio tossed Punk with an overhead slam as he crashed through a table. Del Rio began climbing the ladder until Christian slammed a chair against his foot. Del Rio's foot slipped off of the rung as he crashed to the mat. Christian grabbed another table and set it up in the ring, placing Del Rio on it. He was looking to hit a Frog Splash, but Del Rio moved out of the way and hit Christian with an enziguri. CM Punk slipped back into the ring, hitting Del Rio with a GTS. Del Rio rolled to the outside as Punk positioned him on a table set up at ringside. Punk climbed the ladder in the ring, thinking of coming down onto Del Rio and the table. Christian began climbing the other side, forcing Punk to change motives. The two met at the top of the ladder when Punk shouted "You're not better than Edge!" The two began trading blows, soon knocking each other off. With all three men down, Ricardo Rodriguez set the ladder up, slowly climbing to retrieve the title for Alberto Del Rio. Both Punk and Christian were back on their feet as they noticed Ricardo at the top of the ladder. They both tipped the ladder over as Ricardo crashed onto Del Rio through the table! The audience went wild as Christian quickly delivered a thumb to Punk's eye. He quickly climbed the ladder as Punk climbed the other side. They began trading blows again until Punk ducked one shot and lifted Christian onto his shoulders. Punk tossed Christian off the ladder as he fell front first through a table! Punk grabbed the strap of WWE Championship and pulled it down to end the match.
Winner: CM Punk (Still WWE Champion)
The audience erupted as Punk raised the WWE Title with one arm while hanging onto the ladder with the other. The carnage from the match was shown as Christian remained down on the mat with the pieces of table at his sides, and Ricardo lifeless on top of Del Rio with more shattered table pieces surrounding them. The guitar solo of "Cult of Personality" kicked in as Punk sat on the ladder, raising the WWE Championship high in the air and bringing TLC to a close. [/center] |

This is my favourite modern wwe diary in a long time. A nice balance of realistic yet original booking. I like that Kane is the World Heavyweight Champion now, under the remasked gimmick. Here's hoping he has a good reign. Awesome to see Christian in the WWE Championship picture. A singles match with Punk at the Rumble would be great. Kinda sad Cena and Foley didn't get the tag titles, haha. I half expected them to win for the fun factor.

WWE TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs: Sunday 18th December 2011...Alright, the last pay-per-view of 2011. Just to start, there wasn't anything that clear to inform us that this was actually TLC, I'd involve the logo in the image next time, or even below the image with the date/location. John Morrison beating Jack Swagger sounded like the right decision on the YouTube Pre-show, but on with the show. Great idea for Zack Ryder and Dolph Ziggler to start the show for the WWE United States Championship, I imagine they'd put on an outstanding show. Ziggler would have been a bumping machine in this match. Let's hope with him losing this Ladder match, that Ziggler goes on to bigger things and Ryder actually has a decent, notable reign. Up next, interesting match with Kofi Kingston and Evan Bourne, and I did like Kofi with the hint of a heel-turn. However, I don't think a heel would suit him. Also not happy with signs of dissension between Air Boom. The company needs tag teams at this point, with Ziggler seemingly venturing into singles territory and these two too. I did like John Laurinaitis making the two team despite having just had a bit of a fallout, this angle is great, but sad to see Air Boom depart the tag division. Up next, an elimination tables match eh? Interesting. Wade Barrett being eliminated first was very surprising, but I'm not sure having him eliminated via announce table bump was fair. It opens up the Barrett and Randy Orton rivalry, though. Also surprised that Sheamus was eliminated, Cody Rhodes was in a good role in this match, and I'm really surprised that Cody ended up winning. I wonder who the masked man is. I also wonder if Orton IS feuding with Barrett or not, the unfairness of that decision in Barrett's elimination had to tick Wade off. Beth Phoenix beating Natalya was expected, can't see Natalya winning the WWE Divas Championship again honestly. Wonder if this is it for Beth and Natalya as an alliance. Ideal position to place the WWE Tag Team Championship match, the Miz and R-Truth winning somehow was the right decision. I liked the screwy finish, but "I think it's broken!" baffled me. Liked Cena and Foley's interaction despite this. Dean Ambrose and Theodore Long's segment sounded fun. Build him slowly. Oh, Daniel Bryan got injured by Mark Henry, I forgot. That explains his absence, and his appearance in the Chairs match made everything make sense. Kane with a second reign as World Heavyweight Champion is very interesting. Hmm, with the amount of big matches we've had on this show, I don't think Sin Cara and Hunico would've been necessary. Cara winning was fine, nothing to note. Maybe you were scared to put the Chairs match right next to the Tables, Ladders and Chairs match, which is understandable, but I feel like the crowd wouldn't have needed to calm down from that Chairs match, really. CM Punk was never going to lose the WWE Championship so early into his reign, so good win for Punk against Alberto Del Rio and Christian in an eventful TLC match. Overall, a solid show, very good, but in my eyes it seemed a little over-the-top. By that I mean, everything felt big and worthy of the main event picture, and seemd too much for three hours. But regardless, the fallout should be interesting, Cody Rhodes vs Kane now? Sounds so odd to me, but we'll see from here.

Sad to see Ziggler lose, even more to Ryder, but I'm hoping you have something better in store for Ziggler. Wonder what route will Kingston/Bourne take. As far as I see it, any of them could end up as the heel. Awesome to see Rhodes getting the chance, that's something definitely fresh. Excellent finish to Truth & Miz vs Foley & Cena: it pretty much made up both look good. I loved Kane's last World Title reign, so I'm definitely interested on reading what you do now. Great main event, wonder if one, if not both challengers, will go against Punk again at the Rumble, though I wouldn't get my hopes up for that.

An interesting way to open up WWE: TLC with the United States Championship Match, and I think Zack Ryder retaining was the right move as he has only recently won it. This next bout was certainly interesting, and Kofi Kingston getting a seemingly heel victory makes me think he could turn heel, but then again, he was just doing what it takes, so maybe Evan Bourne goes heel? Who knows. I'm not sure that at this point, Cody Rhodes is ready to be the #1 Contender for the World Heavyweight Championship, but that may be just me. Would've preferred Sheamus or Wade Barrett. Pleased to see Beth Phoenix retain the Divas Championship, but I do hope Natalya gets another reign in the future. A nice tag team match, but thank god The Miz and R-Truth retained the WWE Tag Team Championships. It was nice to see Mick Foley again, and a disqualification finish doesn't really hurt him in his return. Really happy to see Kane as the new World Heavyweight Champion, I do believe he has one last reign in him. But now we see Kane and Cody Rhodes, which I'm not sure will be all that great. We shall see. A nice victory for Sin Cara, I am a big fan, hopefully he can move onto big things. Finally, pleased to see CM Punk retain the WWE Championship, definitely the right move. I really don't see Christian as World Championship material, so hopefully this is it for him. A nice show.

After the signature WWE intro, we cut to the arena as cameras scanned the Philadelphia audience here tonight. Michael Cole and Jerry "The King" Lawler welcomed everyone to RAW SuperShow. Just 24 hours after a chaotic TLC event, we are bound to have an even more chaotic night this evening. News broke on WWE.COM and Twitter a few hours ago that the WWE Board of Directors have summoned Mr. John Laurinaitis to Stamford for unknown reasons. Without a General Manager, will the inmates be running the asylum tonight?
The Philly crowd were on their feet as the theme of Mick Foley hit. The Hardcore Legend made his way down to the ring, having failed in his attempt to capture the WWE Tag Team Championships with John Cena last night at TLC. The Philly crowd, very familiar with Foley, chanted his name as he stood in the ring. "I can't tell you how great it feels to be back here in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania!" said Foley, his famous cheap pop ensuing. He recalled his history in this city, having competed in the New Alhambra Arena not too far from here. But before he gets off track with his memories, he should address the reason why he's here tonight. After TLC last night, word began spreading among the superstars that the Executive Vice President of Talent Relations and Interim RAW General Manager John Laurinaitis was called to WWE Headquarters in Stamford. He's not sure why they called Laurinaitis, but then they called him. So in the midst of John Laurinaitis' absence, he has been named the General Manager of RAW for tonight! The crowd popped again as they chanted Foley's name again. Foley assured the WWE Universe that he will do a far better job running this show than John Laurinaitis has over the past two months. And he's going to start tonight's show with a party. A party for two guys that he's seen rise in the WWE. They've hit a few roadblocks on the way, but they're now standing at the top of Monday Night RAW. "So please help me welcome the WWE Champion, CM Punk!" The audience erupted as Punk made his way down to the ring, still the WWE Champion after a grueling Triple Threat TLC Match last night. Punk grabbed a microphone as he thanked Foley for the introduction. Philadelphia chanted Punk's name as he was handed a microphone. Punk said that earlier this year, he was ready to pack his bags and leave the WWE. He would've never imagined closing out 2011 as the WWE Champion. There's one other thing he wouldn't have imagined in 2011. Hell, with the way things are in the WWE, he wouldn't have imagined this happening in any year. "Ladies and gentleman, your United States Champion, Zack Ryder!" Long Island Iced Z marched down to the ring, fist pumping with Philadelphia. He pounded fists with Punk and Foley before grabbing a mic of his own. "It's amazing what can happen in a year. I didn't have my first match on RAW until June. I had to resort to a camera and YouTube to get air time. I even needed to make a championship of my own because I never thought I'd have one. Now, I'm ending 2011 as the United States Champion, and I'm sitting at the top of Monday Night RAW!" The audience popped and followed that with "Woo" chants as Ryder looked on in amazement. Foley told Punk and Ryder that he couldn't any happier for them. There's new blood in the main event picture, and he has no doubt that they'll carry the WWE into 2......."AWESOME!" The audience's cheers turned to blaring boos as the WWE Tag Team Champions Miz and R-Truth marched down to the ring. "Really? Really? You're wasting valuable TV time with these two jokes of champions? Why aren't you giving us the spotlight?" asked Miz. Truth told Miz that it's probably because they beat Foley's old carcass last night. Or, he's finally blind because he can't see where the real talent is on RAW. Miz said that Punk and Ryder can talk about their "Rocky Balboa" stories all they want, but nobody cares. He and Truth have made 2011 their year. And it's an absolute shame that Foley wants to make the two of them the centerpiece tonight. Foley told Miz that if he and Truth want to be the center of attention, then they may be luck because an idea just hatched in his brain. If we're going to close out 2011 tonight, then we're going out with a bang. Tonight's main event will be the WWE Tag Team Champions The Miz and R-Truth taking on United States Champion Zack Ryder and WWE Champion CM Punk. "And guess what? All of the gold will be on the line!" The crowd erupted as Miz and Truth stared at Foley. Punk and Ryder smiled as they raised their titles in the air, Miz and Truth doing the same as they left the ring. In just one match, all of the championships on RAW will be decided as Miz and Truth battle Punk and Ryder in tonight's main event.
Cutting backstage, Evan Bourne was shown in his locker room finishing up is wrist tape. Kofi Kingston soon walked in as Bourne turned away. Kofi asked Bourne if he was ready for their match, but he got no response. He turned Evan around, asking what is with him? Bourne asked Kofi the same question. "Look, Evan. I have no idea what you're talking about. What did I do at TLC to cause all this?"Bourne stared at Kofi, stunned that he's still denying that he did anything wrong last night. Bourne left the room as Kofi followed him, the two having an opportunity to become No.1 contenders for the WWE Tag Team Championships. But can they coexist?

Mick Foley, CM Punk, Zack Ryder
Returning to RAW, a recap of the opening segment was shown. GM for the night Mick Foley made a huge announcement as tonight's main event will feature all of RAW's championships on the line. Either CM Punk and Zack Ryder leave Philly as the new WWE Tag Team Champions, or Miz and Truth leave the new WWE and United States Champions. Speaking of the Tag Team Titles, we are about to find out right now which team will be next in line for a shot at the gold.
Primo and Epico W/ Hunico def. Air Boom to become No.1 Contenders to the WWE Tag Team Championships
From the start, the dissension between Kofi and Bourne was clear as Kofi wanted to start, but Bourne tagged himself in. As the newest team on the roster, Primo and Epico were looking for their biggest win yet against the true Slammy award-winning Tag Team of the Year. As Bourne was going for Airbourne on Primo, Kofi tagged himself in. He entered the ring as Bourne yelled at him before tagging himself back in. As Bourne and Kofi argued, Primo grabbed Evan and hit a Backstabber to get the victory.
Primo rolled out of the ring as Epico and Hunico joined him, the trio celebrating as they made their way up the entrance. Primo and Epico will be leaving 2011 as the No.1 contenders for the WWE Tag Team Championships. Kofi stared at Bourne, who layed on the mat in pain. He tried to help him up, but Bourne slapped Kofi's hand away. Kofi left the ring with a disappointed look on his face, leaving his partner to help himself out of the ring.
Backstage, Mick Foley was shown in his office, which was also the catering area. He was approached by Jack Swagger and Vickie Guerrero. They told him that Dolph Ziggler was supposed to compete tonight against Daniel Bryan, but Ziggler stayed back at the hotel to rest after his grueling Ladder Match last night. Vickie and Swagger asked if they could leave as well. Foley said that while resting at a hotel sounds nice, the fans want to see Daniel Bryan back in action. So if Ziggler isn't here, then Swagger will take his place. "Excuse me?" asked Vickie. "And that is..." shouted Mick before realizing that he doesn't have his gavel. Vickie and Swagger left as Foley wished them a nice day.

Air Boom, Primo and Epico
Returning from the break, Alex Riley was shown in the ring as he prepares to take on perhaps the most "unusual" superstar to hit the WWE in quite some time.
Dean Ambrose def. Alex Riley
Ambrose received one of the biggest pops of the night, considering his history with Philadelphia on the independent scene. They were hot for him from bell-to-bell as Riley gave him his most competitive match yet. As Riley hoisted him up to his shoulders, Ambrose was able to counter the maneuver by grabbing and pulling Riley's ear. Ambrose finished him off with the Midnight Special to get the victory.
Ambrose rolled out of the ring and sat on the ground as the Philly crowd continued to chant his name. He slowly made his way up the entrance ramp, banging his head against the stage before finally leaving.
Backstage, Zack Ryder was shown in his locker room as he prepares for tonight's main event, where every championship on RAW will be up for grabs. Suddenly, John Morrison walked in. Morrison wished Ryder luck for tonight as he knows he and Punk can do it. "But, after you two win, I want my United States Championship match on January 2nd," said Morrison. Ryder told him that he'll have to see what's going on that day. With him and Punk as double champions, who knows what they'll be doing on RAW. If he's free that day, Morrison will get his title match, but he's not making any promises right now. Ryder put his headphones back on and turned away to lace up his boots, Morrison looking very annoyed as he made his way out of the room.

A special thanks was given to Nine Lashes for "Adrenaline," the official theme for TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs.
The theme of Alberto Del Rio hit as the Mexican Aristocrat drove out to the arena, Ricardo Rodriguez absent after the huge bump he took last night at TLC. Del Rio grabbed a microphone, saying that it may look like his destiny has been derailed after failing to win the WWE Championship last night at TLC. However, he's hear to let everyone know that his destiny is simply delayed. Because now, his destiny is to repeat history. He's going to enter the Royal Rumble match and for the second straight year, walk out as the winner. But that's in six weeks. Tonight, he's issuing an open challenge to anyone in the back who is looking for a fight. Del Rio waited patiently for someone to answer his challenge, until......
Rob Van Dam def. Alberto Del Rio
Philadelphia erupted as one of their own ECW Originals, Rob Van Dam accepted Del Rio's challenge. Rather than entering the ring, RVD ascended to the top turnbuckle and came down with a kick to Del Rio. The "RVD" chants were deafening until Del Rio took control, pulling Van Dam's leg off of the ring apron. Del Rio attempted to lock in the Cross Ambreaker, but Van Dam countered it and hit a Spinning Heel Kick. He hopped onto the top rope before coming down with a Five Start Frog Splash, covering Del Rio to get the victory.
The audience erupted once again as Van Dam raised his arms in victory, doing his famous thumb taunt. RVD made his way up the entrance ramp, making an immense return to the WWE.
A graphic was shown for tonight's main event. WWE Tag Team Champions The Miz and R-Truth battle WWE Champion CM Punk and United States Champion Zack Ryder in a match for all of the gold.

Returning from the break, Mick Foley was shown in his "office" playing with an old Gameboy when Alberto Del Rio approached him, furiously asking why Rob Van Dam was here. Foley told Del Rio that he signed RVD to a contract earlier today. "You're just a temporary GM! You can't do that!" shouted Del Rio. Foley said that he got the Board of Director's approval to make the signing, so RVD is now back on Monday Night RAW. And if Del Rio is so infuriated about it, then he'll give him a chance to redeem himself. The rematch with Del Rio and RVD will happen on January 2nd.
Divas Champion Beth Phoenix def. Alicia Fox
Coming off of a successful title defense at TLC last night, the Diva of the Year was looking to continue her roll. Once again, she was successful after planting Fox with the Glam Slam to pick up the victory.
Beth was handed the Divas Championship as she raised it high in the air. She left up the entrance ramp as the question was posed whether or not anyone can stop the reign of Glamazon?
Backstage, The Miz and R-Truth were shown in their locker room preparing for the huge main event tonight. "We're going into 2012 with it all, Truth. A Slammy, the WWE Tag Team Championships, you with the United States Championship, and I stand tall once again as the WWE Champion." Truth stopped Miz right there, asking who said he was going to get the WWE Title? "Truth, you need the United States Championship. See, Zack Ryder has turned all of the Lil' Jimmies into 'broskis.' Now, Lil' Jimmy is spiking his hair, fist pumping and shouting 'Woo Woo Woo.'" Truth's crazy face came out as he told Miz that Lil' Jimmy ain't gonna have a good Christmas when he takes the United States Championship from his hero. Miz smiled, knowing he was able to steer Truth away from the WWE Championship.

At this time, a video package was shown for the No Holds Barred Match between Triple H and Kevin Nash in two weeks. While highlighting their past history, training montages for the two were also shown as they spoke about the match. The former best friends finally battle January 2nd on RAW SuperShow.
Daniel Bryan def. Jack Swagger W/ Vickie Guerrero
After a month-long absence, Daniel Bryan made his return last night at TLC, costing Mark Henry the World Heavyweight Championship. Tonight, Bryan competed in his first match since the grueling Steel Cage Match that put him on the shelf. The Philadelphia audience were hot for Bryan, cheering him through the entire bout. In the end, Bryan countered the Gutwrench Powerbomb into the LeBell Lock, forcing Swagger to submit and get the victory.
Backstage, The Miz and R-Truth were shown walking down a corridor. They put their WWE Tag Team Championships up against CM Punk's WWE Championship and Zack Ryder's United States Championship in our main event next.

Triple H, Daniel Bryan
A promo is shown for next week's edition of RAW SuperShow, which will be a "Best of 2011" episode. Michael Cole and Jerry "The King" Lawler will look back on the best moments of the year as we head into 2012.
Returning to the arena, the theme of Miz and R-Truth hit as the duo presented Philadelphia with "You Suck." After Zack Ryder's theme hit, cameras caught the United States Champion making his entrance through the audience. He was followed by WWE Champion CM Punk, who also came through the crowd. The official raised all four championships as we get set for RAW's final and biggest main event of 2011.
CM Punk and Zack Ryder def. The Miz and R-Truth (Still WWE Champion, United States Champion, NEW WWE Tag Team Champions)
The audience was absolutely hot for this one, shouting Punk and Ryder's names into the atmosphere. Towards the end, Miz accidentally bumped Punk into the official, knocking him out of the ring. Punk hit Miz with an enziguri as Truth came in, attacking the WWE Champion. Zack Ryder came in as well, going after Truth and clotheslining him over the top rope. Miz tossed Ryder over the top, but turned around and walked right into a GTS from CM Punk. He got the cover, but the official was still out. Suddenly, Mick Foley ran down to the ring with a referee shirt on. The GM for the night made the count as new Tag Team Championship were crowned.
The audience here in Philly erupted as Punk and Ryder raised each other's arms. Foley grabbed all four title as he handed them to Punk and Ryder. The three of them raise each other's arms as CM Punk and Zack Ryder will not only be closing out 2011 as the WWE and United States Champions, but they're now the new WWE Tag Team Champions. They both hopped into the audience, celebrating with Philadelphia as the screen faded out. |

After the SmackDown! intro, pyro blasted from the stage as various views of the audience here in Richmond were shown. Coming off of the heels of an erratic TLC event, we are set for the final edition of Friday Night SmackDown! of 2011. The commentary unit of Michael Cole, Josh Mathews and Booker T welcomed everyone to SmackDown, where a huge main event is set. Truly a "Dream Team" as New WWE Tag Team Champions CM Punk, also the WWE Champion, and Zack Ryder, also the United States Champion, team with the New World Heavyweight Champion Kane and SmackDown's Mr. Money In The Bank Daniel Bryan to battle The Miz, R-Truth, Dolph Ziggler, and Jack Swagger. Plus, an Intercontinental Championship bout of huge proportions as Sheamus defends against Wade Barrett, all that and more as we close out 2011 on SmackDown!.
The theme of Mark Henry hit as the former World Heavyweight Champion marched down to the ring. Henry's facial expression told the story about what happened to him this past Sunday at TLC. Henry grabbed a microphone, saying that Montreal is no longer the most infamous screwjob in WWE history. "It's now the 'Baltimore Screwjob,' because that's exactly what happened! I was robbed by Kane and the vanilla midget, Daniel Bryan!" The audience popped for their names as Henry yelled at them to be quiet. He thought he took care of Bryan last month, but now understands that he didn't get the job done. On top of that, he knows that he now needs to do the same to Kane. So he's not leaving this ring until he receives what he's demanding. A match with Daniel Bryan, and his rematch for the World Heavyweight Championship. Henry grabbed a chair, pulling it up and taking a seat. After a few seconds, SmackDown GM Teddy Long made his way out to the ring. He told Henry that he personally doesn't believe it was a screwjob at TLC. Henry stood up, causing Teddy to panic a bit. He told Henry that he can meet his demands, but not tonight as Kane and Daniel Bryan are set to compete in the 8-Man Tag Team main event. What he will do is give Henry his rematch with Kane for the World Heavyweight Championship when SmackDown enters 2012 live on Tuesday, January 3rd. Henry seemed fine with, repeatedly saying "OK." Teddy then told him that if he can wait a little longer, he can have Daniel Bryan in 5 weeks at the Royal Rumble. "But tonight, I can't have you here playa. I can't have you in the same building as Kane and Daniel Bryan because I know what you're capable of." As Teddy said that, a large amount of security came down to the ring, ready to escort Henry out of the building. Before leaving, Henry told Teddy that he better not invest too much in Kane or Bryan, because once he gets his hands on them, they'll never be seen again. Henry left the arena, knowing that he'll have Kane for the World Heavyweight Title on January 3rd, and Daniel Bryan on the 29th at the Royal Rumble.
Backstage, Randy Orton was shown walking down a corridor. After another encounter with his masked attacker at TLC, he meets the man who knows more than anyone else about the attacker, Heath Slater, next.

Returning from the commercial break, a recap of the previous segment was shown as two huge announcements came from it. On a special Live Tuesday SmackDown on January 3rd, Mark Henry will get his rematch with Kane for the World Heavyweight Championship. And on top of that, he gets Daniel Bryan one-on-one at the Royal Rumble.
Randy Orton def. Heath Slater
Last week, Slater revealed to the world that he knows the identity of Orton's masked attacker, but wouldn't let out the truth. Tonight, Orton was looking to beat the truth out of him. Slater held his own and actually gave Orton a pretty competitive match. In the end, however, it was an RKO out of nowhere that allowed the Viper to take the victory.
The WWE Universe applauded Orton after his victory. The referee tried to raise his arm, but Orton wasn't finished with Slater yet. He grabbed him and tossed him onto the announce table before grabbing a microphone. Orton picked Slater up as the they both stood on the announce table, Slater groggy. "I'm going to give you one chance to save yourself. Who is the masked man?" He placed the microphone towards Slater as he let out a huge "I don't know!" Orton's eyes bulged as he asked Slater "What did you say?" Slater said that he never saw no masked man. He just thought it'd be nice to have the spotlight for once. "So you lied to me, correct?" asked Orton. "Correct," said Slater as he was planted with an RKO onto the announce table! Slater bounced off of it as he fell onto Booker T's shoes. Orton seemed at a loss as he no longer has any leads on who his masked attacker is.
Backstage, Teddy Long was shown in his office, watching the show as he shook his head in shame for Slater. Wade Barrett walked in, telling Teddy that Mark Henry was right. There was a screwjob at TLC, but not for Henry. His elimination in the Tables Match shouldn't have counted, and he's demanding a do-over. Teddy told Wade that he can't do that because he stands by the official's decision in that match. It was a Tables Match, and he was put through the announce table. But he shouldn't be worrying about that because he's got Sheamus tonight for the Intercontinental Championship. Barrett stormed out of the ring, furious with Teddy's decision.

Returning from the break, Santino Marella was shown already in the ring, showing off his Cobra that had a miniature Santa Claus hat on it. The theme of Cody Rhodes hit as the new No.1 Contender made his way out to the stage. With a microphone already in his hand, he told the audience that they better get a good look at him, because very soon, he'll be World Heavyweight Champion. Nobody believed he even had a chance at TLC, but he proved them wrong. Randy Orton, Wade Barrett and Sheamus can all get in the back of the line because it's his time now. It doesn't matter if it's Kane or Mark Henry who's carrying the title in 2012. They're simply holding it for him. And after he becomes World Heavyweight Champion, he's going to do something that his neither his brother or his father could ever do - walk into WrestleMania as the World Champion.
Cody Rhodes def. Santino Marella
A simple bout here for the new No.1 contender. Santino was able to get a bit of offense towards the end as he had enough time to get his Cobra ready. As he shouted "Cobra," Cody kicked him in the mid-section, following up with Cross Rhodes to pick up the victory.
Rhodes raised his arm in victory as the audience showed their displeasure for him. For Cody, it doesn't matter one bit what the fans think of him. He's the No.1 Contender for the World Heavyweight Champion, and as Michael Cole put it, "the most destined superstar heading into 2012."
Backstage, Intercontinental Champion Sheamus was shown walking towards the ring, He defends the gold against Wade Barrett, next.

Sheamus def. Wade Barrett via DQ (Still Intercontinental Champion)
A very solid bout between two of SmackDown's brawlers battling it out for the Intercontinental Championship. Towards the end, Barrett dodged as Brogue Kick and attempted a boot of his own, but Sheamus also dodged it and clotheslined Wade over the top rope. On the outside, Barrett grabbed the Intercontinental Title and clocked Sheamus over the head with it, causing the disqualification finish.
The audience showered Barrett with boos as he rolled Sheamus back into the ring. The Great White stirred to his feet as Barrett hoisted him up, bringing him back down with Wasteland. Barrett placed one foot on Sheamus' chest as he raised his arm.
A graphic was shown for tonight's huge 8-Man Tag Team Match. WWE and 1/2 of the Tag Team Champions CM Punk, United States and the other 1/2 of the Tag Team Champion Zack Ryder, Mr. Money In The Bank Daniel Bryan, and the new World Heavyweight Champion Kane battle The Miz, R-Truth, Dolph Ziggler, and Jack Swagger.

Returning from the break, Hornswoggle was shown dressed up as Santa Claus, running around ringside and handing out Christmas gifts to the younger members of the WWE Universe. He stepped into the ring, bringing a t-shirt cannon and shooting various shirts into the crowd. Suddenly, the theme of Dean Ambrose hit as he made his way out to the ring. Hornswoggle simply stood still and stared at Ambrose, not knowing what to do. WWE's newest and most awkward superstar stared down at Hornswoggle, meeting him for the firs time. He tried to hand Ambrose a Christmas present, but he swatted it away. Ambrose knelt down and shouted "I hate Christmas!", frightening Hornswoggle. He slowly stepped away, but Ambrose delivered a boot to his head. The audience showered Ambrose with boos as he picked Hornswoggle up, planting him with the Midnight Special. He took Hornswoggle's Santa hat and took a bite out of it before throwing it into the audience. He left up the entrance ramp, receiving some real heat from the WWE Universe for his actions here tonight.
Cutting backstage, Cody Rhodes was shown walking backstage, bragging to workers and other superstars about his becoming of No.1 Contender. He was soon met by Teddy Long, who had a rather serious face on him. "I'm sorry Cody, but I have some information to inform you of. After long consideration, I've chosen to agree with Wade Barrett in terms of how unfair his elimination was. Plus, Randy Orton stated his case to me about how the masked attacker eliminated him, not you. And because of Wade Barrett's attack on Sheamus, I've decided to throw him back in there." Cody was very jumpy, asking Teddy what he meant by "back in there?" "I'm sorry playa, but you're NOT the No.1 contender at the moment." Cody's mouth dropped to the floor as the workers and superstars he gloated to began clapping. Teddy announced that on January 3rd, there will a rematch of the Elimination Tables Match with him, Sheamus, Barrett and Orton. He's added a few rules that will make sure there is an undisputed No.1 contender. Teddy apologized to Cody once more as he looked on in disbelief and anger. If Cody Rhodes wants to be considered the No.1 contender once again, he has to win the Elimination Tables Match again on Live Tuesday SmackDown on January 3rd.

Returning from the break, CM Punk and Zack Ryder were shown in their locker room with the WWE Championship, United States Championship, and WWE Tag Team Championships. Daniel Bryan soon walked in, Money In The Bank case in hand. "Look at us," said Punk. "Who would've thought that at the end of 2011, the three of us would be standing here with all of this gold. Or plastic in your case, Bryan." The three laughed as the new World Heavyweight Champion Kane walked in. The three of them stared at Kane as Ryder broke the silence with "What's the deal Big Broski?" He held out his fist for Kane to pound, but the Big Red Monster simply stared at Ryder before shaking his head.
Drew McIntyre def. Ted DiBiase, Hunico and Justin Gabriel
Prior to the start of the match, it was announced that all four of these men have been revealed as Royal Rumble participants. Being on the lower end of the card oftentimes, a victory here is bound to give them some momentum for the big event in five weeks. After Gabriel somersaulted over the top rope onto Hunico, McIntyre finished off DiBiase in the ring with a Future Shock DDT o get the victory.
McIntyre raised his arms in the air, shouting to the audience and the commentators that he'll be the one to win the Royal Rumble in five weeks. Suddenly, Sin Cara hit the ring. He dodged two of Drew's clotheslines as he delivered a Hurricarana that sent McIntyre flying over the top rope. It looks like Sin Cara is throwing his name into the mix of things for the Royal Rumble in five weeks in St. Louis.
Backstage, The Miz, R-Truth, Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger were shown walking down to the ring. None of these four men have had a week to remember, but they have a chance to redeem themselves in the huge 8-Man Tag Team Match up next.

A monstrous main event here to close out the year 2011 for the WWE. The audience were hot for the championship-filled face team as they kept control for a good portion of the bout. Towards the end, Miz, Truth and Ziggler all stirred to their feet on the outside as Punk, Ryder and Bryan hit simultaneous suicide dives onto them. In the ring, Kane lifted Jack Swagger in position for the Tombstone Piledriver, planting him onto his head as he covered him to get the victory.
The audience erupted as all four men were handed their championships, or briefcase in Bryan's case. Kane didn't spend any time celebrating with his teammates as he took his World Heavyweight Championship and left up the ramp. CM Punk, Zack Ryder and Daniel Bryan stayed around to celebrate with the audience, raising their championships and briefcase high in the air to bring both SmackDown and 2011 to a close. |

Foley as GM, even for one night, seems like a great idea. I was definitely surprised of the main event that he announced. I don't like Primo & Epico that much, but I can see why they won instead of Air Boom, which I hope you give a good time to develop a good feud. RVD was a hell of a suprise, never expected him to be the one to face Del Rio. It was even better to see that he's here to stay. Good to see Bryan get a solid victory, hope to see him getting pushed more. I thought the main event would end up in a DQ or something, so there's yet another surprise for me. Was devastated to see who won, though.
Love how badass you are making Orton. Glad to see Rhodes go over Marella, it would've been a joke to see otherwise. Barrett/Sheamus seems like a good mid-card feud, though I wonder how much time can you keep both of them as that and not push them to the main event. McIntyre being pushed is definitely one of my favorite things here.

WWE RAW Supershow: Monday 19th December 2011...Michael McGillicutty beating Mason Ryan was an interesting call, I sort of like it. John Morrison and David Otunga working WWE Superstars? Surprising, but I imagine that it'd be a decent main event to the show. Mick Foley kicking off the show and revealing his power as General Manager of RAW for the night is nice, and I liked his introducing of CM Punk and Zack Ryder, reminiscent of their actual promo on this edition of RAW in reality. The Miz and R-Truth interrupting was nice, but for all of the gold? Hmm, not a fan. I could never see Miz and R-Truth ending the short WWE Championship and WWE United States Championship reigns of Punk and Truth. The WWE Tag Team Championships on Punk and Ryder though? Odd combination, where would that go? I think that the opening contest made it worse in my mind. It shouldn't have been for contention to the WWE Tag Team Championships, because that practically made the show see-through and predictable. Primo and Epico winning; they obviously won't go on to face the Awesome Truth. They're both heel teams, after all. Dissension in Air Boom is fun. I'm interested in seeing how long this angle lasts. Dolph Ziggler staying at the hotel is a shame; Ziggler and Daniel Bryan would have been excellent. I guess Jack Swagger will be a good serving replacement, though. Dean Ambrose beating Alex Riley is fine, but just because of his Philadelphia past, he wouldn't have been cheered. Maybe a few cheers, but the independent circuit in 2011 isn't as prominent as someone on the Philly indy circuit in say, 1999. It could have potentially hurt Ambrose's heel stance. Alberto Del Rio's promo was nice, but wow, Rob Van Dam returns? Interesting, wonder where this leads. Shame that Del Rio lost, it would have done amazing for Del Rio to knock off a win against RVD. I also doubt that #WholeFNShow would trend for WWE. Del Rio and RVD on the January 2nd RAW sounds good, let's hope that Del Rio wins, leading to a rubber match. Beth Phoenix beating Alicia Fox didn't do a lot for me. Amusing segment with the Miz and R-Truth, there. Daniel Bryan beating Jack Swagger was expected, not a lot to add there. And lastly, CM Punk and Zack Ryder winning the WWE Tag Team Championships is a huge "why" moment. But a drawable main event at least. I'm just not sure why this happened. I'm hoping when John Laurinaitis returns, he reverses the decision. A decent show, but it didn't do a lot for me when you consider what's next, the Royal Rumble and the post-TLC feuds climaxing. Where was John Cena? Also expected Triple H vs Kevin Nash hype, with this being the final RAW before their blowoff match in two weeks.
WWE Friday Night SmackDown: Friday 23rd December 2011...Ezekiel Jackson beating Jinder Mahal was what it was. The Usos beating Curt Hawkins and Tyler Reks was a decent match, fair SmackDown side to Superstars. Mark Henry kicking off the show was fine, wondering when his rematch for the World Heavyweight Championship will come. Eight-man tag team action? Interesting. Good call for SmackDown Live on January 3rd, but in my mind you're doing a few too many live SmackDowns recently. Mark Henry vs Kane on SmackDown Live sounds good; Mark facing Daniel Bryan at the Royal Rumble seems odd though; six weeks to wait? Hmm, I would have made that for tonight really, with some build following to a Rumble match. Decent opening contest with Randy Orton beating Heath Slater, and I liked that Slater got some spotlight. Slater then being interrogated by Orton was a nice touch. I'm intrigued by the masked man angle. Santino Marella with Santa Cobra is amusing, and I liked Cody Rhodes coming out to the ring. I can't see Cody winning the World Heavyweight Championship. Cody with a win got him over pretty well. Sheamus beating Wade Barrett was a decent first hour main event, and I'm glad Sheamus got the win via disqualification. Wow, a big line-up in the eight man main event. Cool comedy segment with Dean Ambrose interrupting Hornswoggle, but attacking him? May have been a bit too much for me. Ugh, I knew it was too good to be true. Not a fan of you repeating the elimination tables match stipulation for the January 3rd SmackDown, but a standard fatal four-way would have been enough. I see Wade Barrett or possibly Sheamus getting the win. Didn't like the lower-card fatal four-way match in my opinion. Especially this late on the show, with a huge multi-man match following this too. A little overkill, in my mind. Drew McIntyre with a win was fair I guess. Sin Cara's appearance was odd and spontaneous, but showed the competitiveness of the WWE roster headed into the Royal Rumble. And lastly, decent main event tag team win for CM Punk, Zack Ryder, Kane and Daniel Bryan, though it lacked Mark Henry which I didn't like. Overall, another decent show, with perhaps a little too much on it, and again it was looking back on TLC, rather than looking forward to the Royal Rumble.

1/1/12 - Tomorrow's RAW, News on FCW Call-Ups, RVD's Return, Royal Rumble Plans Finalized, New Team
- Shortly after Christmas, WWE.COM announced that the January 2nd edition of RAW will be a 3-hour edition. Along with the highly anticipated Triple H and Kevin Nash No Holds Barred Match, CM Punk and Zack Ryder vs. Epico and Primo for the WWE Tag Team Championships and Alberto Del Rio vs. Rob Van Dam are also being advertised. Also advertised are the returns of John Cena, Christian and John Laurinaitis, who were all absent from the final 2011 edition of RAW.
- After the debut on Dean Ambrose on SmackDown, many questions have been asked concerning other developmental talent who may be on their way to the main roster. From what we understand, FCW stars such as Seth Rollins and Antonio Cesaro are still a while away from being called up. While on the top of incoming talent, it is expected that Brodus Clay will be making his re-debut very soon. And from what our sources have told us, the former NXT rookie is expected to be repackaged with a very interesting gimmick.
- On the last edition of RAW in 2011, we witnessed the return of Rob Van Dam. News broke of Van Dam's potential return back in November, though it was simply speculation at that point. Van Dam's contract isn't long term from what we've been told, and it would be surprising to see him still as an active roster member this time next year. Several online message boards had RVD as one of the more speculated names for Randy Orton's mystery attacker, but that's clearly out the window at this point.
- Several readers sent us word during the course of last week that Alex Riley and Tyson Kidd have been teaming up on RAW House Shows in winning efforts against Curt Hawkins and Tyler Reks. While we understand that the team have been receiving positive receptions from the house show audiences, it remains to be seen whether or not the pairing will make it to television.
- Days before WWE TLC, the creative team and management finalized the plans for the Royal Rumble event coming up in four weeks. From what we've been told, management were able to to narrow down the list of potential winners for the Royal Rumble match to three superstars, but spent a while before making a final decision. All plans are said to be set in stone now. |

After the signature WWE intro, a video package aired that highlighted the events between Triple H and Kevin Nash since SummerSlam. Along with clips of the two training, they both explained why they need to win tonight. Two former best friends finally meet in a No Holds Barred Match tonight on RAW.
Cutting to the arena here in Memphis, Justin Roberts introduced the Executive Vice President of Talent Relations and the Interim RAW General Manager, Mr. John Laurinaitis. The audience drained him with boos as he made his way down to the ring. Having been called to WWE Headquarters in Stamford two weeks, many people have speculated what Laurinaitis will have to say tonight. "Thank you all for coming out tonight, and kicking off the year 2012 for the WWE." More boos, though he didn't seem to be bothered by them. Laurinaitis said that he would've loved to have been here two weeks ago to close out 2011, but a bit of unexpected business came up. He was called to WWE Headquarters in Stamford, and met with the Board of Directors. "Many people speculated that perhaps my termination was in the works during my trip to Stamford. Well, I'm here to tell the WWE Universe that I am no longer the Executive Vice President of Talent Relations and the Interim RAW General Manager." The audience erupted as it would appear that this will be the last time we see Laurinaitis. "As of today, I am now the Executive Vice President of Talent Relations....and the PERMANENT RAW General Manager." The cheers immediately turned into more boos as Laurinaitis was all smiles. "And you all thought I was fired," said Laurinaitis, adding to the heat. "Tonight is a new day here in the WWE. A new era as we enter 2012. As we commence the new year, we commence the era of People Power!" Laurinaitis thanked the audience once more before the theme of CM Punk hit. The WWE Champion and 1/2 of WWE Tag Team Champions made his way out to a thunderous ovation from Memphis. He was handed a mic as the "CM Punk" chants rang throughout the arena. "Did you just say People Power? Johnny, if the people had any power, you'd be out of a job." Laurinaitis' smile was seemingly gone as he told Punk that he shouldn't be worried about People Power. He should be worried about the Royal Rumble event coming up in four weeks. Because it is there that he will defend the WWE Championship against Christian. "Fine. After I defeat Not-Edge again, I'll be sure to include People Power in my victory speech." Laurinaitis told Punk that if he wants to continue to run his mouth, he's going to give Christian the privilege of choosing the stipulation for the match once again. "It doesn't matter what you do to stack the deck against me. I'm the Best in the World, you're just a tool shed." Laurinaitis told Punk that tonight, he and Zack Ryder are set to defend the WWE Tag Team Titles against Primo and Epico. But because of that outburst, he's going to allow Hunico to compete with the challengers to make it a Handicap Match. "Fine Johnny, do what you want. I'm not afraid of you or People Power." Punk threw down his microphone as he left up the entrance ramp. Laurinaitis said that even though Punk has left, he's not done delivering punishment. He had a Fatal Four Way match scheduled next. Now, the winner of that match will face CM Punk for the WWE Championship next week. Laurinaitis made his way out of the ring and up the entrance ramp as the theme of John Cena hit. Cena, who received a mixed reception, met Laurinaitis on the stage as the two stared at each other. Cena turned his attention away from Laurinaitis as he ran down to the ring, ready to compete for a WWE Championship match.

Dolph Ziggler def. John Cena, John Morrison and Jack Swagger to earn a WWE Championship Match next week
A rather solid way to kick off this 3-hour edition of RAW, the first of 2012. Four of the top contenders for the WWE Championship battled it out for an opportunity at the gold next week. After Ziggler planted Morrison with a Zig Zag on the outside, Cena and Swagger were left alone in the ring momentarily. Swagger tried to lock in the Ankle Lock, but Cena was able to quickly counter it and hit the Attitude Adjustment. As Cena was covering Swagger, Ziggler grabbed his leg and pulled him out of the ring. He quickly slid into the ring and covered Swagger to pick up the victory.
Ziggler screamed at the top of his lungs as Vickie stood at ringside in shock. The Show-Off rolled out of the ring as she asked him what he was doing? Ziggler paid no attention to her as he made his way up the ramp, signaling for the WWE Championship as he has an opportunity next week to claim it.
Backstage, Kevin Nash was shown arriving to the area. Tonight, Big Sexy will finally meet Triple H one on one after months of tension. The two former best friends meet in a No Holds Barred Match tonight.

John Cena, Dolph Ziggler
Returning from the break, WWE Champion and Tag Team Champion CM Punk was shown in his locker room when Josh Mathews walked in, asking for his thoughts on both the Handicap Match tonight, the WWE Championship match with Dolph Ziggler next week, and if he remains champion, the match with Christian at the Royal Rumble. Punk stated that he and Ryder have nothing to worry about tonight. It could be any number of superstars against them, they'd still come out on top because the two of them live, sleep, breathe and bleed wrestling. As for Dolph Ziggler next week, he's happy for the kid. He thinks Dolph is a great talent, but that doesn't mean he's going to lay down and give him the WWE Championship. And Christian at the Royal Rumble, he doesn't understand. He best him at TLC, and him naming another stipulation doesn't make a difference. He'll prove yet again that he's the Best in the World, and he'll prove what Christian fears the most - that he's not better than Edge.
Natalya def. Divas Champion Beth Phoenix in a Non-Title Match
A rematch here from TLC, though the championship was not on the line this time. A decent bout between the former Divas of Doom, still out to get at the other. Beth locked Natalya’s arms in position for the Glam Slam, but the daughter of the Anvil was able to kick the back of her leg, knocking the Glamazon down. Natalya locked in the Sharpshooter as Beth fought for the ropes, but had no choice but to submit seconds later.
Natalya raised her arms in victory as she rolled out of the ring, knowing she just made the Divas Champion submit. Finally, there is a chance that somebody will be able to stop the Glamazon and her reign of terror over the rest of the Divas.
Cutting backstage, John Laurinaitis was shown in his office, decorating it now that he is the permanent GM of RAW. David Otunga soon walked in, congratulating his boss on the promotion. And to celebrate this momentous occasion, Otunga said that he just made his first signing. “Who is it?” asked Laurinaitis. Otunga said that it’s somebody the WWE Universe may be familiar with, Brodus Clay. An absolute monster who shows no mercy for anyone, and will run through the locker room here on RAW. “I’m impressed, David. When will he debut?” asked the now permanent GM. Otunga said that if everything goes well, Brodus will debut next week here on RAW.
Cutting to another camera, CM Punk and Zack Ryder were shown walking down to the ring, carrying a ton of gold. They’ll be putting the WWE Tag Team Championships on the line against Hunico, Primo and Epico next.

A promo was shown for Live Tuesday SmackDown tomorrow night. In two huge TLC rematches, Kane will defend his newly-won World Heavyweight Championship against the former champion, Mark Henry. And after a great deal of controversy in the original bout, the Elimination Tables Match will take place once again between Sheamus, Cody Rhodes, Wade Barrett and Randy Orton to determine the undisputed No.1 contender.
Cutting to the arena, the theme of Zack Ryder hit as the United States Champion made his way out to the stage, also carrying the Tag Team Championship he’ll be defending. Soon after, WWE Champion CM Punk met Ryder on the stage as the two of them made their way down to the ring. After handing the WWE Tag Team Championships to the referee, John Laurinaitis appeared on the titantron. He announced that this Handicap Tag Team Title match will now be a No Disqualificiations match. Punk just shrugged his shoulder, not showing much worry.
Hunico, Primo and Epico def. WWE Champion CM Punk and United States Champion Zack Ryder (NEW WWE Tag Team Champions)
Despite the odds being stacked against the defending champions, Punk and Ryder were able to hold their own in this situation. The three challengers were able to wear Ryder down, not giving him any breathing time or a chance to make the tag. He caught Primo with an enziguri as Ryder slowly crawled to Punk to make the hot tag. Suddenly, Christian ran down to ringside and pulled Punk off of the apron. After he stirred to his feet, Christian Speared him into the ring steps. The man who meets CM Punk at the Royal Rumble made his way up the entrance ramp as Punk remained down on the floor. With nobody to tag, Ryder had to go alone. Hunico came running in as Ryder went for a clothesline, but missed it and was caught with a Backstabber. Hunico made the cover to get the victory and the championships.
Hunico, Primo and Epico all raised each other’s arms as they were handed the titles. Despite their only being two title belts, the three of them made their way up the stage as they passed the titles around. Punk and Ryder remained down as Christian just screwed them out of the Tag Team Championships.
A graphic was shown for tonight’s main event. The long awaited No Holds Barred Match between Triple H and Kevin Nash. It happens later tonight.

CM Punk, Zack Ryder, Hunico, Christian
Returning to RAW, United States Champion Zack Ryder was shown walking backstage, ice pack on his back. John Morrison approached him, saying that it sucks what happened to him. “But look at this way. Now you’re free to finally give me my United States Championship match.” Ryder told Morrison that in case he didn’t notice, he just lost the Tag Team Titles. He doesn’t know whether he should be dealing with those three goons or Christian. Morrison told Ryder that he’s figures it out - he’s scared of him. That’s why he keeps dodging their title match. “Bro, I’m not scared of you. This is just a bad time.” Ryder tried to walk away, but Morrison grabbed him and threw him into the wall. Ryder wrenched in pain on the ground as Morrison looked down at him, not caring for his actions.
Cutting to the arena, Kofi Kingston was shown at the announce table as his “partner” Evan Bourne is in action next. Michael Cole asked Kofi about the issues he’s been having with Bourne as of late. “You know I’m not too sure myself. All I did was give him a hell of a match at TLC, but I guess he’s just a sore loser.” Lawler brought up Kofi’s method of victory at TLC, citing that as the possible problem. Kofi still maintained that he has no recollection of what happened at TLC.
Dean Ambrose def. Evan Bourne
Several times during the match, Bourne looked over his shoulder at Kofi, though that only hurt him as Ambrose was able to capitalize on all of his mistakes. As Bourne was going for Airbourne, he looked back at Kofi, who was telling him to focus on the match. Ambrose threw himself against the ropes, causing Evan to stumble and crash to the mat. Ambrose picked him up and hit the Midnight Special to pick up the victory.
Ambrose rolled out of the ring with a blank expression on his face, the bizarre superstar continuing to look impressive here in the WWE. Kofi thought about helping Bourne up, but decided against it as he made his way up the ramp, leaving Bourne to once again help himself out of the ring.
Backstage, WWE Champion CM Punk was shown in his locker room, furious about the outcome of the Tag Team Titles match. Josh Mathews soon walked in, asking Punk how he’s feeling after what happened out there? “How do I feel. I’m pissed off. If Christian wants to make a statement, then I’ll just make a louder one when I beat his ass at the Royal Rumble and retain my WWE Championship.” Seconds later, Dolph Ziggler walked into the room. He told Punk that he shouldn’t worry about Christian at the Royal Rumble because he won’t be the champion by then. Because next week. he’s defending it against him. The man who fails at nothing, excels at everything, steals the show every damn night and is the true “Best in the World.” Punk told Ziggler that he respects him and he’s a hell of a competitor, but if he has to wait weeks to get his hands on Christian, he’s going to make every minute next week count.

Air Boom, Dean Ambrose
Returning from the break, JTG was shown in the ring already as he gets set for action. The theme of Santino Marella hit as he made his way out to the stage to a nice reception. As he was walking towards the ring, he was attacked from behind by The Miz and R-Truth. Truth tossed him inot the barricade as Miz slid into the ring, going after JTG before planting him with a Skull Crushing Finale. The audience showered the former WWE Tag Team Champions with boos as Miz grabbed a microphone. He told the audience to shut their mouths because he has something to say. Truth yelled at the crowd to shut up, ensuing more boos. Miz said 2011 was their year, and they were supposed to close it standing on top of RAW with the Tag Team Championships, the United States Championship, and the WWE Championship. But that didn’t happen and it’s all because of one man. “A washed up, hideous, fat and sorry excuse for a human being.” The audience began chanting “Foley” as Miz was clearly annoyed. He said that Foley should be ashamed of himself. Because of him, CM Punk and Zack Ryder got the spotlight that night. And look what happened. They just lost the Tag Team Championships. They know they wouldn’t have lost, but it doesn’t matter anymore because Foley screwed them. And everyone that has screwed them, they’ve made them pay the price. Triple H, Air Boom, John Cena, the list just keeps on going. And they have no problem adding Foley to that list. Miz said that he doesn’t expect Foley to be a man, but is still going to lay it out for him. He challenged Foley to show up to RAW next week and meet him one on one in this ring. “If you do, you’re not walking out of the arena under your own power. And if you don’t show up, I’ll find you.” Miz and Truth made their way out of the ring, issuing a challenge to Mick Foley for next week.
Cutting to the back, John Laurinaitis was shown in his office when David Otunga brought him his coffee. He thanked Otunga, but had some news. Apparently, the World Heavyweight Champion Kane just showed up to the arena and is looking for a fight. “Otunga, if you don’t mind, could you put on your gear and face Kane tonight.” Otunga had a hard time swallowing his coffee as he was very hesitant to accept the match. “Come on, David. Do it for me. Do it for People Power.” Despite not wanting to accept the match, Otunga did so anyways.
Cutting to another camera, Rob Van Dam was shown walking down a corridor. Mr. Monday Night competes in his second match since returning in a rematch against Alberto Del Rio next.

The Miz, Mick Foley
Returning from the break, Triple H was shown taping his fists as he prepares to meet Kevin Nash later on tonight in a No Holds Barred Match.
Alberto Del Rio def. Rob Van Dam
A very solid bout here, though not much different from their match two weeks. Del Rio seemed more focus, knowing ahead of time that he’d be facing Van Dam. Del Rio attempted a German Suplex, but Van Dam was able to counter out of it and hit a Spinning Heel Kick. Del Rio fell into perfect position as RVD headed to the top turnbuckle. He came down with the Five Star Frog Splash, but Del Rio got his knees up in time. With Van Dam holding his ribs in a ton of pain, Del Rio rolled him up to get the victory.
Del Rio rolled out of the ring as Ricardo Rodriguez announced him as the winner. Van Dam slowly stirred to his feet, still holding his ribs as he looked on at Del Rio.
Cameras cut to the office of John Laurinaitis, where the now permanent RAW GM was shown talking to David Otunga, who is clearly a little jumpy about facing Kane up next. Soon, United States Champion Zack Ryder walked into the room. He told Laurinaitis to give John Morrison his title shot next week. Laurinaitis said that he’ll check to see what is planned for the show and he’ll back to him on....”No. You’re gonna give Morrison his title match and you’re gonna do it next week.” Ryder walked out of the room as Laurinaitis seemed furious with the United States Champion’s behavior.

Alberto Del Rio, RVD
Returning from the break, Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler were shown at their announce table as Cole pointed that out that Mick Foley just posted on his Twitter account “Uh, I’m not near a TV right now. What did The Miz say?” Lawler said that Foley may be surprised when he hears about Miz’s challenge, but he’s known Foley for years and knows that he won’t back down from a fight. Cole seemed indifferent, claiming that Miz is different from the rest of Foley’s challengers. He’s more dangerous and calcuating and if Foley does show up next week, he believes that Miz will live up to his word on the Hardcore Legend not being able to walk out of the arena.
World Heavyweight Champion Kane def. David Otunga
Despite not wanting to accept this match, Otunga didn’t back down from Kane as he gave the World Heavyweight Champion a solid match. However, the Big Red Monster also showed Otunga why he’s the World Champion after planting him with two Chokeslams to get the victory.
Kane was handed the World Heavyweight Title as he made his way out of the ring, mentally ready to defend the title against Mark Henry tomorrow night on Live Tuesday SmackDown. Suddenly, he was attacked from behind by Henry. The World’s Strongest Man threw Kane into the graphics tron before planting him with a World’s Strongest Slam onto the stage. Henry raised the World Title high in the air before tossing it onto Kane’s chest, sending a huge message before their championship bout in 24 hours on SmackDown.
Backstage, Kevin Nash was shown in his locker room as he knows what’s coming. Up next, he finally meets Triple H one on one in a No Holds Barred Match.

A promo was shown for the Royal Rumble, live Sunday January 29th, only on Pay-Per-View.
Returning to RAW, the video package that aired at the top of the show was shown once again. After months of tension and dissension, two former best friends meet in a No Holds Barred Match right now.
Triple H def. Kevin Nash in a No Holds Barred Match
Finally, after months on animosity, these two were able to go at it. The two former best friends showed no mercy for the other. Nash attempted a Jackknife Powerbomb through the announce table, but Triple H was able to toss him with an overhead slam onto the table. He covered Nash, but couldn’t get the victory at that moment. Hunter grabbed Nash and tossed him back into the ring before pulling a sledgehammer out from underneath. He waited for Nash to get back to his feet before clocking him in the head with it. Triple H targeted Nash’s knee, striking him repeatedly with the sledgehammer. As Nash tried to stand, he fell onto the injured knee. This allowed Triple H to lock his arms and plant Nash with a Pedigree to get the victory and finally bring their rivalry to an end.
The audience popped as Triple H raised his arms in victory, knowing that it’s finally over with Kevin Nash. However, The Game may have other issues on his mind.
Triple H asked for a microphone as he asked for this “piece of crap” to be taken out of the ring. His issues with Nash may be over, but he still has a bit of business to take care of tonight. He then called John Cena out to the ring. A buzz came upon the crowd as they were puzzled to why Triple H would call out Cena. Nonetheless, Cena made his way out to the stage to another mixed reaction before running down to the ring, meeting Hunter face to face. Triple H told Cena that he needs to listen to him because nobody else will tell him what he’s about to. Cena tried to talk, but Triple H simply told him to shut up and listen. “Cena, as of yesterday, we are three months away from WrestleMania. You need to beat The Rock. You need to do it for me, for the locker room, for the fans, and everyone who has ever walked into this company and still truly appreciates it. But listen to me, John. You can’t do it with the way you are now. You’re too soft. You don’t have that mean streak in you that you’ll need to beat The Rock. And there’s a simple way to do it.” Cena was focused on Triple H as he didn’t know what would come out of the Game’s mouth next. “Those three words on your shirt, “Rise Above Hate,’ you need to take them and shove them. You say the boos don’t get to you? Well you need to start listening. Forget all of the kids that come to the shows in your shirs, wristbands, caps and the rest of your crap.” At this point, Triple H was getting a mixed reaction for his words to Cena. “Listen to them. Let the hate get to you. You can’t rise above it and expect to beat The Rock because I can guarantee you that crowd in Miami will not be the crowds you’re used to. You need to embrace the hate, John. Embrace it!” Cena stared at Triple H before taking his microphone. “Hunter, I respect the hell out of you, but you don’t know what you’re asking. You’re asking me to give up everything I’ve worked for. To go against the people who have been there for me and the people who have gotten me to where I am today. I know Miami is going to be hostile, but I’ve been in hostile environments before and I’ve walked out in one piece. I rise above the hate because that’s what I stand for. If people want to boo me, that’s fine. But I’m not going to let them get to me. I’m not going to embrace the hate.” Triple H asked Cena if he wants to beat The Rock? “That’s all I want,” said Cena. “Then embrace the hate! Tell these people to shove it. Tell them that you don't give a damn about them. Tell off your critics and let the hate get to you. Because I'm not gonna sit here and watch The Rock, who won't even be here the week after WrestleMania, beat the poster boy." Cena tried to walk away, but Triple H pulled him back in and slapped him. After telling Cena to embrace the hate once again, Cena punched Triple H. He then walked away, not letting Triple H's words affect him. Triple H held his jaw as he looked on at Cena, feeling that he just made the biggest mistake of his life.
