This is easily my favourite WWE diary on this board. It's very easy to read and doesn't stray too far away from the normal WWE product while still maintaining an essence of differentiation. I really like how you're creating brand new stars for the WWE such as Wade Barrett, Daniel Bryan, Dean Ambrose, Sheamus and Evan Bourne. For me the best part of the diary is the Evan Bourne heel turn it's completely out of the ordinary but genius and very entertaining. I can't wait for Elimination Chamber so we can see what matches you have in store for Wrestlemania (besides Rock vs. Cena and Taker vs. Triple HHH III).

WWE RAW Supershow: Monday 30th January 2012...I'm liking the new look, that graphic is pretty tasty. Michael McGillicutty beating Derrick Bateman was decent, hoping to see one or both of these guys on RAW in the near future. Decent win for Heath Slater against Alex Riley, a nice edition of Superstars, very different may I add. John Cena kicking off the show was the right decision, I liked the exchange between Cena and Triple H; it actually sets up the two big main events for WrestleMania XXVIII in a way. I did like Wade Barrett interrupting, and a match between the two sounds good. Rob Van Dam beating John Morrison was a solid opening contest, I'm looking forward to seeing RVD back in the Elimination Chamber. Interesting situation, having David Otunga reluctantly lie down for Evan Bourne, but I sort of like it. Wondering where it is leading though. Bourne, another high flyer in the match; I just can't see him winning though. Bourne has a bodyguard? I'm assuming it's Tensai. Zack Ryder beating Alberto Del Rio was a shocker, but I preferred that decision. Ryder in the Elimination Chamber sure is different if anything. I also liked Sin Cara's interference, looks like we have another match made for Elimination Chamber. Hahaha, I liked R-Truth and the Miz's exchange, very comical. The Bella Twins beating Kelly Kelly and Eve, nothing special here. Wondering if Eve will be turning heel soon; hopefully so, she is such a better heel than she is a face. Beth Phoenix's promo was interesting, wonder what's in mind. Edge in the Hall of Fame class of 2012 was a no-brainer. The Cutting Edge tonight? Sounds good. Dolph Ziggler beating Santino Marella was great, happy to see Ziggler in the Chamber. R-Truth beating the Miz was the right call in my min, interesting to see no proper dissension in the Awesome Truth. The Miz going down the same path as real life scares me a little. I just hope he ends up facing Mick Foley. Brodus Clay beating Jinder Mahal, alright. Eve joining John Laurinaitis seems inevitable. And in our main event, great win for John Cena, but was surprised to see Triple H with a supposed heel turn on Cena. Interesting, a great match made for Elimination Chamber. The Cutting Edge as pretty good, and I liked CM Punk's exchange with Edge in the Cutting Edge. Hmm, Christian assaulting Edge was good, although Zack Ryder rushing out as RAW came to a close...I'd have put this on the second hour main event, allowing the viewers to digest into Hunter vs Cena at the Chamber. A solid show though, very good and fun to read.
WWE Friday Night SmckDown: Friday 3rd February 2012...Johnny Curtis with a win was a good call, Yoshi Tatsu is probably nearing the unemployment line at this rate. AJ beating Maxine wasn't anything too special, meanwhile. Not a bad set for Superstars. I am loving the new layout. Sheamus beating Mark Henry was a solid choice of opening contest, Sheamus qualifying into the Elimination Chamber but not Mark was interesting though. I'm still expecting Henry to enter it anyway. I did like Mark's promo afterwards, attacking Theodore Long was surprising though, it can't be good. Justin Gabriel and Tyson Kidd beating Hunico and Epico was nice in an upset win. I imagine a rematch for the WWE Tag Team Championship taking place at Elimination Chamber. Hmm, not overly sure about Dean Ambrose qualifying for the Chamber, it seems a little too soon to me. Ted Dibiase was surely not qualifying either, though. Chris Jericho beating Sin Cara was a surprise, but I'm glad to see it. I could see Jericho winning it honestly. Was surprised not to see Alberto Del Rio get involved, though. Daniel Bryan's promo was solid, setting up a potential triple threat World Heavyweight Championship match for WrestleMania XXVIII. Maybe this is where Bryan will finally win the big one. Randy Orton winning against Drew McIntyre to get to the Chamber was no surprise, and I could see Orton winning. Lastly, great main event win for Cody Rhodes against Kane, but I'm not too sure about the count out finish. Rhodes in the Chamber was a nice twist to close the show. Overall, a very decent episode, and a solid week to set the seeds for Elimination Chamber.

WWE RAW Supershow Alright, I'll still reply to this even though you're a no good dirty layout stealing thief. The opening seg was great. Ryder's promo about Christian was nice and I suspect a match in the future between the two. The chamber stuff was nice and it was standard build, but I liked the brawl. Especially Punk's line. Great opening contest with Daniel Bryan and Wade Barrett. Those two are great together. Wonder what Miz is doing with the briefcase. Looking forward to Bryan/Miz's encounter on SmackDown this week. Still saying Ryback is Evan's bodyguard. Beth win the win is obvious, Eve getting the job with Johnny Ace is nice. I like how you're building a stable like WWE was trying to. Add Curt Hawkins and Tyler Reks in there. Interesting seg from Punk and Ryder. I enjoyed the contract signing with Triple H and Cena. Having them discussing how important the match with Rock really is was great and really adds high stakes to the match. I liked Cena putting Otunga through the table too. Still not sure about Triple H playing the 'Embrace the Hate' role however. Good win for Sin Cara over John Morrison. Cara and Del Rio officially on for Elimination Chamber is good. Another interesting seg with People Power. It seems like you're going to turn Otunga face, but that would be rather awkward. Solid victory for Brodus Clay over Curt Hawkins. I still hope you add Hawkins and Reks to People Power. Fun little seg with Bryan, AJ, and Truth. Looking forward to Miz and Bryan's encounter on Smackdown, but just keep the Wrestlemania match to Barrett, Bryan, and the champ please. Whoa, was not expecting Tensai! Evan entering the chamber at number six is nice. Solid show as always, looking forward to Elimination Chamber.

Friday Night SmackDown! | February 10th, 2012 | Tulsa, OKWWE Superstars 2/9 Taping Results Drew McIntyre def. Trent Barreta Jinder Mahal def. Percy Watson
- Following the WWE signature, a video package was shown recapping Mark Henry's attack on Teddy Long last week. We then cut to the office of John Laurinaitis, who is filling in for Teddy tonight. He announced that tonight, we will see 3 Elimination Chamber preview matches. Intercontinental Champion Sheamus vs. Dean Ambrose, Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton, and Chris Jericho vs. World Heavyweight Champion Kane. "And who does the WWE Universe have to thank for this stellar lineup? Me, Mr. John Laurinaitis. Enjoy the show, and People Power!"
- Switching cameras to the arena here in Tulsa, the theme of the Miz hit as he made his way down to the ring, still in possession of Daniel Bryan's Money In The Bank briefcase that he stole this past Monday on RAW. Miz grabbed a microphone, reminding everyone of his role in WrestleMania XXVII last year. He walked in as the WWE Champion, pinned John Cena, and exited still the champion. He couldn't win the Royal Rumble thanks to Mick Foley, and failed to qualify for the Elimination Chamber last Monday, thanks to a man he considered a friend, R-Truth. Having a WrestleMania without him in a championship match is an absolute crime. But then, it hit him. There is still a way for him to compete in a championship match at WrestleMania, and it's currently in his hands. The Money In The Bank briefcase. Ever since capturing it last July, Daniel Bryan has vowed to cash it in at WrestleMania XXVIII. "Daniel if I taught you anything on NXT, it's that I'm better than you. You have my ticket to WrestleMania, and I'm not going to bargain with-" before he could finish, Miz was interrupted by the arrival of Daniel Bryan. He told Miz that he's wrong. The Money In The Bank briefcase is his ticket to WrestleMania and nobody else's. He's here for one reason, and that's to get it back. Miz told Bryan that he'll gladly hand the briefcase over right now, but one condition. The condition being that in nine days, it comes back to him. He wants Daniel Bryan to put the Money In The Bank briefcase on the line against him at Elimination Chamber. "The world needs me in a championship match at WrestleMania, not you," said Miz. Bryan told him that most people would say that he's come too far with the briefcase to let it slip away. But, he's made Miz tap out before. And he has no problem doing it one more time at Elimination Chamber and in the process, crush his WrestleMania dreams. Suddenly, Miz clocked Bryan in the head with the briefcase. He placed it down the mat before telling Bryan that he'll see him at Elimination Chamber. Miz made his way up the entrance ramp as AJ ran down to attend to her boyfriend. With less than two months until April 1st, Daniel Bryan takes the biggest gamble of his career as he defends the Money In The Bank briefcase against the man who is obsessed with WrestleMania, the Miz.
- Backstage, Intercontinental Champion Sheamus was shown making his way down to the ring. He meets Dean Ambrose for the first time ever, next.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning to SmackDown, John Laurinaitis was shown in his office with Eve and David Otunga, who seemed happy about Evan Bourne not being here tonight. Eve then asked Laurinaitis about Tensai. He said the he'll go into more detail on RAW, but he searched the entire world for a monster of his caliber. He had several WWE officials fly to Japan to negotiate with him, and is glad to have him on board in People Power. "By the way, David, you might have to take a pay cut for him." Otunga looked at Laurinaitis in complete shock and disgust.
- DEAN AMBROSE DEF. INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION SHEAMUS: A very good bout to kick off tonight's SmackDown. The two clashing styles of Sheamus and Ambrose met for the first time, providing the deranged superstar with his toughest challenge to date. After Sheamus accidentally delivered a shoulder block to the referee, Ambrose hit him with a low blow. He then grabbed the Intercontinental Championship, stalking Sheamus as he stirred to his feet. Ambrose missed the show, allowing Sheamus to capitalize and hit him with the Irish Curse backbreaker. Sheamus picked up the title at the wrong time as the referee caught him with it. The referee took the title, handing it back to the belt keeper when Ambrose rolled Sheamus up with a handful of tights to steal the victory.
- Ambrose quickly rolled out of the ring as the audience seemed to be in shock. The psychotic Ambrose has picked up his biggest victory yet. He stood on the stage, laughing maniacally as Sheamus taunted him to get back in the ring. Ambrose continued on, ignoring the Great White's challenge.
- Backstage, Cody Rhodes was shown in his locker room as he prepares to meet Randy Orton later on tonight in another Elimination Chamber qualifying match. Soon, he turned around and was met with Kane's hand grasping his throat. The World Heavyweight Champion choked the life out of Cody, telling him that he is both the luckiest and the unluckiest man on the planet. He has a spot in the Elimination Chamber, but he's going to locked in the devil's playground with the devil's favorite demon himself. Kane threw Rhodes to the ground as he gasped for air.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning to SmackDown, GM for the evening John Laurinaitis was shown in his office once again with his administration of David Otunga and Eve. Intercontinental Champion Sheamus barged into the room, demanding a rematch with Dean Ambrose. "He stole that match, and he needs a good arse kicking before the Elimination Chamber." Laurinaitis told Sheamus that he didn't see anything wrong with Ambrose's victory. He then asked Otunga and Eve if they saw anything, to which they both responded with "not at all." Sheamus then grabbed Otunga, tossing him into the wall before leaving.
- JUSTIN GABRIEL AND TYSON KIDD DEF. PRIMO AND EPICO - NEW WWE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS: A very nice WWE Tag Team Championship bout. Primo and Epico were the two defending the titles, but Hunico's presence was certainly felt, placing Epico's foot on the rope as Gabriel had a cover. Later on, Gabriel would take out both Primo and Hunico with a Suicide Dive as Kidd slapped the Dungeon Lock on Epico, forcing him to submit.
- Gabriel, Kidd, and the audience went wild as the announcement was made that we have new WWE Tag Team Champions. The two were handed their titles as they raised them high in the air, joining the WWE Universe in celebration. They're both no strangers to Tag Team gold, but tonight, Gabriel and Kidd stand tall for the first time together as the WWE Tag Team Champions.
- A graphic was shown for the Elimination Chamber preview match between Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes. It's next, on SmackDown.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- A promo was shown for next Monday's edition of RAW. With Evan Bourne entering the Elimination Chamber last and the mysterious Tensai at his side, is a WWE Championship reign heading into WrestleMania inevitable for the Prince of People Power?
- RANDY ORTON DEF. CODY RHODES: A solid match to round out the first hour here on Elimination Chamber preview night. After failing to capture the World Heavyweight Championship at the Royal Rumble, Cody was looking to gain a huge measure of momentum as he heads into his first Chamber match. Orton didn't allow that as the Chamber veteran caught Cody with an RKO following a failed Beautiful Disaster, covering him t get the victory.
- As Orton celebrated his victory, cameras cut to the back as we saw World Heavyweight Champion Kane watching on. He was soon approached by Chris Jericho, who told Kane that Orton is his come the Elimination Chamber. But tonight, he's going to prove to all of the parasites and hypocrites why he will become World Heavyweight Champion when he beats him. Jericho left the room as Kane looked on at him.
- Cutting to the office of John Laurinaitis, he and Eve were shown attending to Otunga, who was still feeling the effects of Sheamus' attack earlier. Laurinaitis tried to give Otunga his coffee, but he noted that it was cold already. Johnny asked Eve to go get Otunga a fresh cup, but she declined, saying that getting him coffee isn't part of her job. "You're right, it's not" said Laurinaitis as Otunga angrily stood up, saying he'll get his own coffee.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning to SmackDown, the same recap from the top of the show aired, recapping Mark Henry's attack last week on SmackDown General Manager Teddy Long. Michael Cole gave the viewers at home an update, saying Teddy is resting and recovering at home. He will be back here on SmackDown next Friday, and we can only wonder what the repercussions will be for one Mark Henry. Speaking of the World's Strongest Man, he made his way down to the ring at this time. He said that over his career, he's done a lot of things that he has ultimately regretted. But he can say with complete honesty that he doesn't regret what he did to Teddy Long last week. He is a force of nature, and Teddy didn't seem to understand that. He deserves a spot in the Elimination Chamber more than anyone else, but it looks like justice won't be served. The only reason he is standing here right now is because Johnny allowed him to. Teddy will be back next week, and he knows what to expect. Perhaps not to his face, but he expects to be fired next week. If Teddy wants to make the biggest mistake of his life, that's fine. He's not going to try and stop him. All he wants Teddy to know is that the World's Strongest Man will get even. Henry dropped his microphone as he made his way up the entrance ramp, possibly for the last time. Will Teddy Long fire the World's Strongest Man when he returns to SmackDown next week?
- Cutting backstage, Ted DiBiase was shown in the office of John Laurinaitis. He told Ted that he didn't have anything for him tonight. "I can hardly get on this show when Teddy is here. There's finally someone else in charge for a night, and I still can't get an opportunity?" Laurinaitis told DiBiase he was sorry, but there was just nothing for him to do tonight. DiBiase walked out of the office, angered by the fact that opportunities seem to be slim for him. As he was walking, he was stopped by Michael McGillicutty. He told DiBiase that it's a damn shame that nobody sees anything in superstars like them. They're above everybody else. The industry is in their blood. He's learned that if you want opportunities, you need to take them. "Walk with me, talk with me, Ted," said McGillicutty as DiBiase followed him.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning to SmackDown, a graphic was shown revealing a huge announcement from the office of John Laurinaitis. Because of his victory earlier in the evening, Dean Ambrose will meet Sheamus next week with the Intercontinental Championship on the line.
- DIVAS CHAMPION BETH PHOENIX DEF. ALICIA FOX: Another dominating performance from Beth, who is out on a mission to restore prestige to not just the Divas Championship, but the division as a whole. She quickly locked Alicia in the Full Nelson, the same hold she has used to put away Natalya and Kelly Kelly. Alicia faded fast, forcing the referee to call for the bell.
- Ignoring the sound of the bell, Beth refused to release her hold on Alicia. She later on did, but left Fox motionless and unresponsive. She took her championship made her way up the ramp as Michael Cole brought up a question that, while asked dozens of times, needs to be asked. Can anybody stop the Glamazon on her dominant quest to rejuvenate the Divas division?
- Cutting to the parking lot area, Daniel Bryan and AJ were shown walking to their vehicle as she asked him if he's sure he wants to put the briefcase up against Miz? Bryan said that for two years, Miz has been a thorn in his side. He won't go away and maintains that he's better than him. The thing is he knows he's better than Miz. And this is the only way he can prove it. Is it a gamble? A huge one. But he's confident that he'll be able to beat Miz, retain possession of the briefcase, and cash it in at WrestleMania to become World Heavyweight Champion.
- A graphic was shown for the final Elimination Chamber preview match. World Heavyweight Champion Kane meets Chris Jericho, next.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- A promo was shown for Elimination Chamber, live Sunday February 19th, only on pay-per-view.
WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION KANE DEF. CHRIS JERICHO VIA DQ: Not a bad match to close out tonight's edition of SmackDown. For Jericho, this was a must win. After failing in both big match situations since his return, a win over the World Heavyweight Champion would send him into the Elimination Chamber in nine days with an unprecedented amount of momentum. For Kane, he needed to rebound after his countout loss to Cody Rhodes last week. As Kane had Jericho's throat in a tight grip, he was attacked from behind by Rhodes as the referee called for the bell.
- The audience showered Cody with boos as he stomped away on Kane, Jericho soon joining. Randy Orton ran down to the ring, going after both Rhodes and Jericho. As the Viper had things in control, Dean Ambrose hit the ring to change that. He pounded Orton with repeated fists in a corner until Intercontinental Champion Sheamus joined the fray, looking for a bit revenge for Ambrose's victory earlier. All six men went at it in all out brawl, nine nights shy of their World Heavyweight Championship bout inside the devilish structure, the Elimination Chamber.
- Cutting to the office of John Laurinaitis, he was shown watching the carnage unfold, satisfied with his performance as GM tonight. Eve complimented him, saying that he put Teddy Long to shame. Soon, David Otunga walked into the room. After Laurinaitis asked why he was out for so long, Otunga handed him an envelope. He said that he received it a few minutes ago. Laurinaitis opened the envelope, reading the contents as his face began turning pale. Eve asked what was wrong, to which Laurinaitis responded "Kofi Kingston is suing me for wrongful termination."

WWE RAW Supershow: Monday 6th February 2012...Natalya beating Tamina is fine, although Tamina will hopefully climb the ranks in time. She has potential, a solid worker with a slightly intimidating look. Alberto Del Rio on Superstars? Interesting, but I like it. Obvious win against Alex Riley in the main event. Decent B-show. Zack Ryder in the opening promo was a great change, and I liked the discussion he had with Christian. I do like how it soon lead to all six participants in the RAW Elimination Chamber match coming out. A nice set up with the six-pack challenge main event announced. Be interesting how the undercard is booked from here. Daniel Bryan and Wade Barrett had a great string of matches last year, and I'm sure this was no different, interesting finish with the Miz attacking Bryan, although I do wonder why. I assume we'll see Miz facing Bryan on SmackDown this Friday night. Beth Phoenix beating Kelly Kelly was nothing too special, but I'm not a fan of the full nelson as a finishing move, especially for Divas. CM Punk and Zack Ryder's conversation was noteable. John Cena's promo was a good first-hour main event, and I liked the argument they had. I am certainly interested in how their match at Elimination Chamber goes, considering neither man can really afford a loss on the road to WrestleMania XXVIII. The way they incorporated Otunga into that was amusing. Sin Cara beating John Morrison would have been a very interesting match, but in the end it simply put over Alberto Del Rio's match with Cara at the Chamber. Evan Bourne and John Laurinaitis sure love pushing David Otunga around. Evan's such a crybaby. Brodus Clay beating Curt Hawkins was expected, sigh. R-Truth and Daniel Bryan's segment was amusing. Lastly great main event with the six-pack challenge, and I loved Evan Bourne managing to get a win over CM Punk. Tensai, as expected. Interesting pairing to say the least, I'm looking forard to how this effects the future of Monday Night RAW. Overall, a very packed show, very entertaining.
WWE Friday Night SmackDown: Friday 10th February 2012...Drew McIntyre beating Trent Barreta was a fine match, but I can't say the same for Jinder Mahal and Percy Watson, two of my least favourite guys on the roster. Fair side of Superstars for SmackDown. Good promo to kick off the show with the Miz in the ring with Daniel Bryan's Money in the Bank briefcase. Oh wow, I guess they'll be competing at Elimination Chamber now. Well, that changes things. Hot opening contest, was surprised to see Dean Ambrose beat Sheamus, but it made sense with the cheap finish. Justin Gabriel and Tyson Kidd winning the WWE Tag Team Championship was very surprising, but I'm delighted to see it. Primo and Epico, I'm wondering what they'll do now. I imagine Hunico will become involved, leading to Gabriel and Kidd getting Trent Barreta on their side. I'd enjoy that a lot. Randy Orton beating Cody Rhodes was the best decision in this first-hour main event, but in a preview match, it could have gone either way. Wow, interested in where Mark Henry and Theodore Long's angle will go next week. Ted Dibiase and Michael McGillicutty negotiating? YES. Something, finally. And new competition for new WWE Tag Team Champions, Justin Gabriel and Tyson Kidd. Beth Phoenix beating Alicia Fox, eh. There's not a lot to where Beth's path of Diva destruction is going. Lastly, interesting main event win for Kane against Chris Jericho in a decent main event. Liked the chaotic finish to SmackDown, but wow, Kofi Kingston suing? I like it. Very entertaining cliffhanger. Another good show, better than RAW this week, I thought!

RAW Supershow | February 13th, 2012 | San Diego, CAWWE Superstars 2/16 Taping Results Derrick Bateman def. JTG Jack Swagger def. Alex Riley
- After a video package recapping the events of last week's RAW, Justin Roberts introduced the Executive Vice President of Talent Relations and the General Manager of Monday Night RAW, John Laurinaitis. Johnny made his way out to a very vocal San Diego audience, David Otunga and Evan Bourne following him. Laurinaitis said that last Friday, the WWE Universe was given the privilege of having him as the General Manager of SmackDown for the evening. While the night was a success, there was one blemish that came at the end of the broadcast. He was informed that Kofi Kingston is suing him for wrongful termination. A pop came from the audience, showing their support for Kofi's lawsuit. Laurinaitis said that while the news did startle him for a bit, he then realized there is nothing to worry about. He has the best attorney in the world at his side in Otunga. He would like to see Kofi find an attorney of David's caliber. Laurinaitis then said that tonight, there's going to be a party. The invite only, People Power party! Tonight, they celebrate Evan Bourne's becoming of WWE Champion in six days at Elimination Chamber. They will also celebrate the biggest acquisition of the People Power era. That being the monster that he introduced to the world last week, Tensai! Tensai then made his way down to the ring, towering over the man who has been assigned to protect, Evan Bourne. Laurinaitis pulled a kazoo out of his pocket, blowing it as he said that it's time for People Power party to commence. However, it may have to wait a bit as John Cena made his way out to the stage. "Have you ever seen a weirder bunch? Carlton Banks, a whiny hobbit, Kirby with tattoos, and Mr. Un-Excitement." He said that ever since last October when Laurinaitis was named the General Manager, he's seen this day coming. Johnny has finally become a power hungry, corporate jackass. It's just too bad for him that he's finally going to have to face the consequences. Kofi is going to sue him for everything he's worth, and Bourne will walk out of the Elimination Chamber empty handed. Laurinaitis told Cena that he shouldn't be concerned about People Power. What he needs to worry about is Triple H on Sunday, and the Rock at WrestleMania. But because of this outburst, he also has something else to focus on. Tonight, he will team up with WWE Champion CM Punk to take on Evan Bourne and Tensai. Cena had no problem with the announcement, saying that he'll be glad to knock some sense back into Evan.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning to RAW, John Laurinaitis and People Power were shown in their office, ready to commence their party. Otunga said that he had to go take care of something, leaving Laurinaitis to give Evan and Tensai a talk about tonight's main event. He said that Evan can't afford to get into too much action six days before he becomes WWE Champion, so he wants Tensai to take care of both Cena and Punk for the most part.
- UNITED STATES CHAMPION ZACK RYDER DEF. DOLPH ZIGGLER: The first of two singles preview matches tonight for Sunday's WWE Championship Elimination Chamber match. As the two former rivals battled, Ryder was able to capture the victory after hitting Ziggler with the Rough Ryder, covering him to get the victory.
- The crowd cheered him on as Ryder was handed the United States Championship, raising it high as he fist pumped with San Diego. Long Island Iced Z will hope to capture more gold Sunday, and head into WrestleMania as both United States Champion and WWE Champion.
- Cutting to John Laurinaitis' office, he, Evan Bourne, and Eve were shown having their "party." David Otunga walked in, asking where everyone else was. Laurinaitis said that there isn't anybody else yet. Soon, though, the superstars will come as they profess their support for People Power. Otunga asked where Tensai was. "He's off taking care of other business. But don't worry, Hawkins and Reks are working security." The camera then showed Josh Mathews at the door as Hawkins and Reks kept him back, asking why he wanted to enter the party. Mathews said he just wanted a word with Evan Bourne, to which Bourne answered. Mathews asked him how he plans to win the Elimination Chamber match since Tensai and the rest of People Power will be locked out? "You don't think I can win on my own? Curt, Tyler, dispose of this loser." Hawkins and Reks grabbed Mathews, carrying him out of the room.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning from the commercial break, a graphic was shown announcing that this Sunday at Elimination Chamber, the second inductee into the 2012 WWE Hall Of Fame will be revealed
- Switching cameras, Kelly Kelly was shown in the ring as she prepares for action right now. The Bella Twins were out next, Nikki being Kelly's opponent tonight. Before the bell could sound, Eve made her way out to the stage. The Executive Administrator announced that after a bit of consideration, this match will now be a Handicap Match.
- THE BELLA TWINS DEF. KELLY KELLY: The odds were stacked against Kelly due to Eve's abuse of power. She held her own for a bit, but Twin Magic caught up to Kelly as Brie covered her to get the victory.
- The audience showed their displeasure for the result as the Bellas celebrated their victory, Eve laughing and smiling on the stage. For the second week in a row, the Executive Administrator has screwed Kelly Kelly.
- Backstage, AJ was shown walking down a corridor when she was stopped by the Miz. He told her that whatever plans she and Daniel Bryan for Valentines Day tomorrow, they better remember something. It's going to be their last date with Bryan holding the Money In The Bank briefcase. Because after Sunday, it's going to be him who hold possession of it and a World Heavyweight Championship match. And for the second year in a row, he is going to leave WrestleMania as a champion. As Miz was saying his catchphrase, AJ cut him off. "Yeah, you're the Miz and you're awesome.........but you're not better than Daniel." Miz smirked, saying that she's going to have to find out the truth the hard way at Elimination Chamber. Miz began making his way down to the ring for tag team action, next.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- A promo was shown for this Friday's edition of SmackDown. With the return of Teddy Long, what will be the repercussions for Mark Henry's actions? Plus, after his victory last week, Dean Ambrose meets Sheamus for the Intercontinental Championship. SmackDown, this Friday only on SyFy.
- THE MIZ AND ALBERTO DEL RIO DEF. DANIEL BRYAN AND SIN CARA: A solid tag bout to round out the first hour here on RAW. With all four men looking to gain the momentum heading into Sunday, a win was a must. After Sin Cara delivered a springboard dive onto Del Rio, Miz dodged a kick from Bryan and countered it into the Skull Crushing Finale to pick up the victory.
- Miz raised his arms in victory as the audience let out their frustrations for the finish. He grabbed Bryan's Money In The Bank briefcase, standing tall over him as he pointed to the WrestleMania XXVIII sign, letting his former NXT rookie know that he plans on being the one to cash in the contract on the grandest stage of them all.
- Cutting to the People Power party, John Laurinaitis was shown speaking to a photographer about Evan's championship photoshoot. David Otunga soon approached the RAW General Manager, informing him that he just got off the phone with Kofi Kingston's lawyer and he wants to meet them next week. Laurinaitis asked if this lawyer is any good? "I've heard of him before, but there shouldn't be anything to worry about," said Otunga.
- A graphic was shown for tonight's main event. WWE Champion CM Punk and John Cena team up to battle Evan Bourne and Tensai.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning to RAW, a graphic was shown announcing that this Sunday, Eve will battle Kelly Kelly on the Elimination Chamber YouTube pre-show. The pre-show takes place 30 minutes before Elimination Chamber goes live, exclusively on YouTube.
- Cutting to the arena, we saw the Funkasaurus Brodus Clay, along with the Funkadactyls, dancing down to the ring. While he's not scheduled to compete tonight, the undefeated Brodus is still looking to have a good time here on Monday Night RAW. However, he was interrupted by the theme of John Morrison. Morrison said that he was sorry, but he needed to come out and stop this atrocity. "Nobody cares to see you, Brodus. Or your Funkadactyls." Morrison said that nobody wants to see him come out every week, doing the same dance routine and defeating superstars who really haven't even done anything themselves. "You're not even good at dancing. Stand back," said Morrison. He then began break dancing in the ring as Brodus and the Funkadactyls looked on, seemingly unimpressed. Morrison said that Brodus probably can't do that since he would break the mat. Naomi and Cameron got in Morrison's face, allowing Brodus to catch him by surprise with What The Funk? Morrison layed motionless in the ring as Brodus and the Funkadactyls resumed dancing.
- Backstage, WWE Champion CM Punk was shown in his locker room when John Cena walked in. He asked Punk if he was ready for tonight. "John, I've been ready to get my hands on Evan and Tensai since last Monday. What I question is why you got involved. The fight against People Power isn't yours, it's mine." Cena said that he's always believed in standing up for what is right, and he knows that People Power are not that. Punk said that he doesn't need to hear another inspirational quote from John Cena. What he wants from Cena are two things. Beat Triple H on Sunday, and Dwyane at WrestleMania.
- Cutting to another camera, Rob Van Dam was shown making his way down to the ring. He meets R-Truth in an Elimination Chamber preview match, next.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning to RAW, John Laurinaitis was shown once again at the People Power party, giving Evan and Tensai a talk before their tag team match against CM Punk and John Cena. Soon, Heath Slater walked into the room. Evan asked why he was let in the room, to which Curt Hawkins replied that he knew the secret password. "Yeah, man. People Power!" said Slater. Laurinaitis asked what Slater wanted. "Well you got everything here in People Power. A beautiful lady in Eve, the brute force of Tensai, the brains of David Otunga, the ability of Evan Bourne, and a true leader like you, Johnny. But what I noticed you guys don't have is entertainment, and I can provide that for you." Slater then began singing while playing air guitar, Laurinaitis and Bourne staring at him in confusion.
- R-TRUTH DEF. ROB VAN DAM: The second of two singles Elimination Chamber preview matches, and another solid match up. After Van Dam missed Rolling Thunder, Truth was able to capitalize with an Axe Kick to pick up the victory.
- Cutting backstage, Heath Slater was shown at the People Power party, still singing to the displeasure of everyone there. Hawkins and Reks interrupted, telling Laurinaitis that it's time for the main event. He huddled everyone in, explaining the importance of this match. He needs Evan to stay healthy, and for Tensai to show his dominance to the world. Everyone put their hands in, including Slater, who is not even a part of People Power. After three, the entire group shouted "People Power!" as Evan and Tensai left the room.
- Cutting back to the commentary duo of Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler, they ran down the card for Sunday's Elimination Chamber pay-per-view. As we learned earlier, former friends Eve and Kelly Kelly finally go at it during the YouTube pre-show. Onto the main card, Daniel Bryan puts the Money In The Bank briefcase on the line against The Miz. Alberto Del Rio and Sin Cara look for revenge on one another as they collide for the first time ever. In what is sure to be one for the ages, John Cena and Triple H battle it out. In the World Heavyweight Championship Elimination Chamber, it will be Kane, Cody Rhodes, Chris Jericho, Dean Ambrose, Sheamus, and Randy Orton who put their bodies on the line for the right to enter WrestleMania with the World Heavyweight Title. And finally, it's the Elimination Chamber match for the WWE Championship. CM Punk defends against Zack Ryder, Dolph Ziggler, R-Truth, Rob Van Dam, and Evan Bourne. Who will punch their ticket in Satan's Prison and headline WrestleMania XXVIII?
- A graphic was shown for the tag team main event pitting WWE Champion CM Punk and John Cena against Evan Bourne and Tensai. It's next, live on Monday Night RAW.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- A promo was shown for Elimination Chamber, live this Sunday only on pay-per-view.
- WWE CHAMPION CM PUNK AND JOHN CENA FOUGHT EVAN BOURNE AND TENSAI TO A NO CONTEST: A good match to close Monday Night RAW and send us into Elimination Chamber on Sunday. As Laurinaitis wanted, Tensai was able to show his dominance to the world. What he didn't want became a reality as Evan was forced to compete several times, even being taken care of by Cena and Punk several times. After Cena accidentally hit a Running Shoulder block on the referee, that's where the match lost all control.
- As Cena waited for Tensai to get to his feet, Triple H marched down to ringside. Cena turned his attention to Hunter as they began to brawl on the entrance ramp, soon heading to backstage area. CM Punk stepped into the ring, taking Tensai out with a Springboard Clothesline. Bourne and Punk battled until Dolph Ziggler hit the ring, going right after the WWE Champion. Zack Ryder made the save to even the odds, followed R-Truth and Rob Van Dam. All six Elimination Chamber participants brawled, all hell breaking loose six nights before the WWE Championship bout. Soon, Royal Rumble winner Wade Barrett made his way out to the stage. He watched as the carnage unfolded, knowing that he could meet one of those six men should he choose to go after the WWE Championship at WrestleMania.

Friday Night SmackDown! | February 17th, 2012 | Fresno, CAWWE Superstars 2/16 Taping Results Maxine def. Alicia Fox Drew McIntyre and Johnny Curtis def. The Usos
- Pyro blasted from the stage as cameras panned over the audience here in Fresno. The final stop before Elimination Chamber on Sunday, it's Friday Night SmackDown! The commentary unit of Michael Cole, Josh Mathews, and Booker T welcomed everyone to SmackDown as we gear up for the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view event in 48 hours. Tonight, a huge Intercontinental Championship match as Dean Ambrose has the opportunity to make his biggest impact yet against the defending champion, Sheamus. Plus, we can now confirm that SmackDown GM Teddy Long has returned and is in the building this evening. What will the repercussions be for Mark Henry's actions towards the General Manager two weeks ago?
- The theme of Cody Rhodes hit, boos ensuing throughout the arena. A graphic was shown for the World Heavyweight Championship Elimination Chamber match on Sunday, where Rhodes will be one of the six superstars who put their bodies on the line for the opportunity to headline WrestleMania XXVIII. Cody grabbed a microphone, saying that it should be no question who is going to walk out of the Elimination Chamber on Sunday as the World Heavyweight Champion, carrying it into the grandest stage of them all on April 1st. He's beaten Kane before. Orton knows what he's capable of. Jericho, Sheamus, and Ambrose may not know him all that well, but he'll be more than glad to introduce himself to them when he rips their body to shreds with two miles of chain. Soon, Cody was interrupted by Randy Orton. The Viper told Cody that it's ironic that he's out here declaring victory on Sunday, yet he failed to beat him last week. If anybody is going to walking out of the Elimination Chamber and into WrestleMania as the World Heavyweight Champion, it is going to be him. He's been in countless Elimination Chamber matches, and knows the environment better than anyone else. "And yet, you've never won one," said Cody. Before Orton could say anything else, Chris Jericho joined the fray. He said that Orton can claim to be the veteran of the Elimination Chamber match, but in actuality, it's him. He's been in six Elimination Chamber matches, including the very first one almost 10 years. And the last time he was in one, he walked out as the World Heavyweight Champion. And he plans on duplicating that feat this Sunday. "So Cody, Orton, you're both wasting your time arguing over who is going to win, because I will." Suddenly, pyro blasted from the stage as the World Heavyweight Champion Kane made his way down to the ring. He said that the competitors' past in the Elimination Chamber doesn't matter one bit. The only thing that matters is their actions on Sunday. The Chamber was built for monsters like him. He'll enjoy the sight of pain and agony on everyone else's faces as he walks out still the World Heavyweight Champion. Before anything could happen with the four of them, SmackDown General Manager Teddy Long made his way out to the stage, limping due to the events of two weeks ago. He said that all four men have their cases as to why they will win the Elimination Chamber, but that match is not about talk. It's about action. And right now, he's going to give the WWE Universe a preview of that action. "Get a referee out here because right now, Cody Rhodes and Chris Jericho will team up to take on Randy Orton and the World Heavyweight Champion, Kane!"
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION KANE AND RANDY ORTON DEF. CHRIS JERICHO AND CODY RHODES: A huge tag team bout to kick off SmackDown and give the world a preview a what's to come Sunday inside the Elimination Chamber. As expected, Kane and Rhodes focused on one another, while Orton and Jericho did the same. In the end, it was an RKO that put Jericho away, allowing Orton to cover him and get the victory.
- The audience popped as Orton raised his arms in victory, gaining quite the measure of momentum heading into the Elimination Chamber on Sunday. When Orton turned around, he found himself in Kane's grasp, soon being planted with a Chokeslam. As Kane was preparing to shoot the flames out of the ring posts, Cody Rhodes struck him from behind with the World Heavyweight Championship. He stood over Kane as he raised the title high in the air, signalling that he will be the one to walk out of the Chamber with the gold.
- Backstage, Matt Striker was standing by with the new WWE Tag Team Champions, Justin Gabriel and Tyson Kidd. Striker congratulated the duo on their victory last week, but now have to focus on next week when Primo and Epico invoke their rematch clause. Gabriel said that they understand that while winning the championships wasn't easy, holding onto them is a lot harder. However, they've beaten Primo, Epico, and even Hunico on more than one occasion. They know they can do it again next week and remain WWE Tag Team Champions. The team headed for the ring as Gabriel meets Hunico, next.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning to SmackDown, footage was shown from earlier today as Mark Henry arrived to the arena. As he was walking to his locker room, several superstars could be seen staring at him, knowing this could very well be the last time we see the World's Strongest Man in a WWE ring.
- WWE TAG TEAM CHAMPION JUSTIN GABRIEL DEF. HUNICO: With Primo and Epico invoking their rematch clause next week, Hunico was out to soften up one half of the new WWE Tag Team Champions. Things didn't go well for him as Gabriel hit a 450 Splash to grab the victory.
- Tyson Kidd joined Gabriel in the ring as they raised their WWE Tag Team Championships high in the air. Primo and Epico rolled Hunico out of the ring, helping him up the entrance ramp as they looked on at the champions, hoping to regain the gold next week on SmackDown.
- Cutting backstage, Dean Ambrose was shown sitting near a staircase, playing with a dog. Matt Striker approached him, surprised by what he had seen. "You have a dog?" asked Striker. The dog ran away as Ambrose said "Not anymore." Striker then asked him for his thoughts on tonight's Intercontinental Championship match with Sheamus. Ambrose said that ever since coming to the WWE, he set out to do one thing, and that was make an impact. Every time he's in that ring, an impact is made. He's undefeated, lasted 57 minutes in the Royal Rumble, qualified for the Elimination Chamber, and pinned the world's beloved Sheamus last week. His undefeated streak will last an eternity as it runs through both tonight and Sunday. He will defeat Sheamus, become the Intercontinental Champion, unleash hell in the Elimination Chamber, and become the World Heavyweight Champion. "Nobody is going to see it coming, but they'll know of it when reality slaps them in the face and tells them that Dean Ambrose is the ruler of their universe."
- Cutting to another camera, Mark Henry was shown making his way down to the ring. What will be the consequences for his actions against Teddy Long two weeks ago? Is this the last time the WWE Universe will see the World's Strongest Man?
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- At this time, the RAW Rebound was shown. Throughout the night, John Laurinaitis held a "People Power party," celebrating victories in both court against Kofi Kingston and in the Elimination Chamber, even though both have yet to happen. In the main event, Evan Bourne and Tensai battled John Cena and WWE Champion, CM Punk. After Triple H and Cena brawled to the back, the rest of the Elimination Chamber participants joined the chaos with Bourne and Punk. Wade Barrett made his way out to the stag as he observed the carnage, knowing that he could meet one of those six men at WrestleMania should he choose to challenge for the WWE Championship.
- Returning to the arena, the theme of Mark Henry hit as he made his way out to the ring, possibly for the final time. He grabbed a microphone, saying that two weeks ago, his actions may have cost him his job. He made it clear that he doesn't regret what he did to Teddy Long because the world needs to understand that when you're face to face with the World's Strongest Man, you show him some damn respect. Teddy failed to do that, and he paid the price. He knows Teddy plans on firing him tonight, so he wants his scrawny ass to come out here and tell him to his face. A few seconds later, Long appeared on the titantron. He said that for his own safety, he would prefer to stay in his office. "Just like I thought. You don't have the guts to come out here and fire me to my face." Teddy said that Henry is wrong on a few accounts. He does have to guts, but not the back thanks to him. Second, Henry has the wrong idea. Despite what he may believe, he is not going to fire him. Not tonight, not next week, not any time. Henry seemed confused as his termination is what he's been expecting. Teddy said that while sitting at home, he was able to come up with another form of punishment. One that he knows Henry will not enjoy one bit. "......I reinstated the Big Show." The audience erupted as Henry was livid. Back in November, Henry defeated Show in a match that resulted in his departure from the WWE. Teddy said that the contracts have been signed, and Show is officially back on the SmackDown roster. And his return match comes this Sunday when he meets Mark Henry one on one. Henry was irate as this Sunday, he will meet the man that he thought he had vanished from World Wrestling Entertainment.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning to SmackDown, a recap was shown of the events that took place prior to the break. As Mark Henry's punishment, Teddy Long has reinstated the Big Show. And Show will have his opportunity at revenge when he meets Henry Sunday at Elimination Chamber.
- TED DIBIASE DEF. TRENT BARRETA: A good match up here between two superstars who were out to prove themselves and open the doors for more opportunities. After Barreta missed a Moonsault, DiBiase was able to grab him and hit Dream Street to get the victory.
- DiBiase raised his arms in the air, celebrating his first victory in quite some time on SmackDown. Barreta was soon back on his feet as he extended his hand out to DiBiase. The two shook hands in a show of respect, but Michael McGillicutty soon made his way out to the stage. DiBiase saw McGillicutty, who he had a conversation with last week. As Barreta tried to leave the ring, DiBiase pulled him closer and delivered a clothesline. Many of the audience were stunned as DiBiase stomped away on Barreta before planting him with another Dream Street. Ted made his way up to the stage where he and McGillicutty raised each other's arms, officially forming an alliance.
- Cutting backstage, Teddy Long was shown in his office speaking to security, asking them to please find Mark Henry and escort him out of the arena. The door opened as the security quickly took down who they believed to have been Henry, though it was only Heath Slater. They let him go as he stood up, telling Teddy that he needs to ease up. Besides, this past Monday on RAW, he stole the People Power party with his incredible talents. He tried to start singing, but Teddy cut him off. He said that unlike John Laurinaitis, he's not going to put up with his singing. It looks like he's dressed to compete, so that's what he's going to do up next against Daniel Bryan. "I'm not here to compete! Johnny would never do something so foolish!" yelled Slater as he made his way out of the room, left with no choice but to compete.
- A graphic was shown for tonight's main event. 48 hours before they step into the Elimination Chamber, Sheamus defends the Intercontinental Championship against Dean Ambrose.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning to SmackDown, a graphic was shown reminding everyone that this Sunday during Elimination Chamber, the second inductee into this year's Hall Of Fame will be revealed.
- DANIEL BRYAN DEF. HEATH SLATER: With the Miz and the Money In The Bank briefcase on his mind, Bryan was able to punish Slater here, sending a message to the Awesome one. Slater eventually found himself in the LeBell Lock, left with no choice but to submit.
- Bryan was handed his Money In The Bank briefcase as AJ joined him in the ring, raising her boyfriend's arm in victory. Soon, the Miz made his way out to the stage, giving Bryan a slow applause. Daniel Bryan takes the biggest gamble of his life on Sunday as he puts the Money In The Bank briefcase on the line against the Miz.
- Sending things over to the commentary unit, they quickly ran down the card for Sunday's Elimination Chamber. Prior to the pay-per-view, former friends Eve and Kelly Kelly finally go at it during the YouTube pre-show. As we found out earlier, Teddy Long has reinstated the Big Show as he will meet the man who sent him packing from the WWE in November, Mark Henry. Daniel Bryan puts the Money In The Bank briefcase on the line against the man he is set out to once again prove wrong, the Miz. Alberto Del Rio and Sin Cara look for revenge on one another as they collide for the first time ever. In what is sure to be one for the ages, John Cena and Triple H battle it out. In the WWE Championship Elimination Chamber match, CM Punk defends against Zack Ryder, Dolph Ziggler, R-Truth, Rob Van Dam, and Evan Bourne. And finally, it's the Chamber match for the World Heavyweight Championship. Randy Orton, Chris Jericho, Cody Rhodes, Dean Ambrose, Sheamus, and Kane all battle it out in Satan's Prison for the opportunity to walk into WrestleMania as the World Heavyweight Champion.
- Cutting backstage, Dean Ambrose was shown still sitting near a staircase when the dog from earlier returned. "What do you want you stupid dog? You're not needed anymore!" Soon, Intercontinental Champion Sheamus approached Ambrose. "Fella, you shouldn't be worrying about stray dogs right now. You should be worried about what I'm going to do to you both tonight and on Sunday." Sheamus continued on as he meets Ambrose for the Intercontinental Championship next.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- A promo was shown for Elimination Chamber, live this Sunday on pay-per-view.
- INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP - SHEAMUS DEF. DEAN AMBROSE VIA DQ: A very good, unique match to close out SmackDown. Towards the middle of the bout, Cody Rhodes made his way down to ringside as he watched two of his opponents on Sunday go at it. Randy Orton did the same, though he seemed to have been keeping an eye on Cody. Chris Jericho joined the three of them, followed Kane as all six Elimination Chamber participants were out there now. As Sheamus was preparing for a Brogue Kick, Rhodes jumped into the ring and attacked him, forcing the referee to call for the bell.
- As Rhodes was attacking Sheamus, he pulled him into the center of the ring and planted him with Cross Rhodes. As he looked down at Sheamus, Ambrose caught him with a Knee Trembler. Soon, Randy Orton joined the mix of things and planted Ambrose with an RKO! As Orton stood tall, Jericho turned him around and hit a Codebreaker. Unfortunately for Jericho, he was soon turned around and dropped with a Chokeslam from Kane. The World Heavyweight Champion stood tall over his five opponents on Sunday as he did his fire pose and raised the World Heavyweight Championship in the air. However, Wade Barrett soon made his way out to the stage. Just like this past Monday, the 2012 Royal Rumble winner observed the scene as he could very well meet Kane at WrestleMania should he choose to challenge for the World Heavyweight Championship.

YouTube Pre Show Eve def. Kelly Kelly
After the WWE signature, a video was shown highlighting some of the gruesome scenes from past Elimination Chamber matches. A demonic voice could be heard giving the details of the match, followed by a glimpse of the WrestleMania XXVIII sign. Tonight, 12 men will put their careers on the line for the opportunity that they've dreamed of their entire lives - walking into the grandest stage of them all as champion. Over on the RAW side, we see the reign of terror from John Laurinaitis and People Power. Johnny's hand-picked future of Monday Night RAW, Evan Bourne, enters the Chamber last, but he still has five other men vying for the same prize. Evan Bourne, Zack Ryder, Dolph Ziggler, Rob Van Dam, R-Truth, and CM Punk battle it out for the WWE Championship. Over on SmackDown, the stage is set to determine who will walk out as World Heavyweight Champion. Kane, Chris Jericho, Randy Orton, and Sheamus are all aware of the Chamber's wrath. Cody Rhodes and Dean Ambrose join the fray for the first time in their careers, but despite all six different backgrounds, these six SmackDown superstars will tear one another apart for one common goal, the World Heavyweight Championship. The final stop on the Road to WrestleMania - the Elimination Chamber.
"Bitter End" by The Veer Union blasted throughout the arena as a huge pyro display was shot off. Cameras showed both the red hot audience here in Milwaukee and the Elimination Chamber structure, where both the WWE and World Heavyweight Championship will be decided tonight. The commentary unit of Michael Cole, Jerry "The King" Lawler, and Booker T welcomed everyone to the final stop on the Road to WrestleMania, Elimination Chamber! Bodies will be put at risk and dreams will be shattered, but for two men, they will seize the moment and earn the right to walk into WrestleMania XXVIII on April 1st with the title "champion." Along with the two Chamber matches, John Cena battles Triple H on his last pay-per-view stop before the biggest match of his career at WrestleMania. All that and much more tonight on this night that is sure to be both chaotic and memorable. But first, we will decide one of the pieces in the World Heavyweight Championship match at WrestleMania.
SmackDown! Money In The Bank Briefcase Daniel Bryan (c) vs. The Miz
The "Awesome" balloon made way for the man who has recently become obsessed with headlining WrestleMania for the second year in a row. Tonight, Miz sees his final opportunity to make that goal become a reality. Daniel Bryan was out next to a great reception from the Milwaukee audience. He announced back in July after capturing the Money In The Bank briefcase that he would be cashing it in at WrestleMania. Six weeks shy of the big event, it could all be taken away. The bell sounded as Miz and Bryan locked up, Miz going for a quick roll up. Bryan rolled out and had an opportunity to lock in the LeBell Lock, but Miz quickly escaped and slid out of the ring. Bryan was looking to deliver a suicide dive, but Miz slid in the ring before he could fly. The Awesome One took him down with sweep from behind the legs, stomping on him as he held onto the top rope. He met the referee's five count before getting the cover, but Bryan kicked out. Miz pulled him closer to the center of the ring, but Bryan was able to get a leg up and kick Miz on top of his head. Bryan charged towards Miz, clotheslining him over the top rope as they both crashed to the floor. With Miz sitting against the ring apron, Bryan delivered multiple kicks to the chest. Before he could finish it with the head kick, Miz ducked and went under the ring. Bryan went back in the ring, checking all sides for Miz. As Miz was sliding back into the ring, Bryan immediately caught up to him and went for the LeBell Lock. Miz slid out of the ring once again, grabbing Bryan's arms and pulling him under the bottom rope onto the floor. Miz picked Bryan up to his feet, ramming him back-first into the steel ring post. He tossed him back into the ring as Bryan backed into a corner. Miz went for his corner-clothesline, bur Bryan dodged it as Miz found himself stuck. Bryan then delivered a running dropkick to Miz's back. He covered him, but Miz managed to kick out. Bryan kept an armbar on Miz for a bit until he was able to fight out of it and deliver an arm drag. Miz kicked Bryan in the face as he was sitting down, covering him for the two count. Miz stalked Bryan as he stirred to his feet, looking to hit the Skull Crushing Finale. He locked him in place for it, but Bryan was able to counter it into another LeBell Lock attempt. Miz rolled it into a pinning predicament, forcing Bryan to release the hold to escape. Both men were back on their feet at the same time, but Miz took Bryan back down with a big boot. He got the cover, but again only a two count. As Miz was looking for another Skull Crushing Finale, the theme of Mick Foley hit to a huge ovation. Miz kept his eyes on the stage, screaming and shouting for Foley to come out. This distraction allowed Bryan to roll Miz up, getting the three count and the victory.
Winner: Daniel Bryan (Still holder of the SmackDown Money In The Bank Briefcase)
The audience popped as Bryan rolled out of the ring. He was handed the Money In The Bank briefcase as he raised it high in the air, screaming with joy as he will now officially be competing for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania XXVIII. Miz sat on the mat in shock, realizing what had happened. That's it. His aspirations of headlining WrestleMania once again are gone, and just like at the Royal Rumble, it's thanks to Mick Foley's entrance music. Bryan dropped to his knees on the stage, raising the briefcase high in the air while staring at the WrestleMania sign, knowing that's his next stop.
Cutting backstage, Josh Mathews was standing by with the United States Champion, Zack Ryder. In just a few moments, Ryder will have an opportunity at becoming WWE Champion. Ryder said that this opportunity doesn't just allow him to become WWE Champion. It allows him to become a dual champion, and walk into WrestleMania with the most prized possession in all of sports entertainment. He knows that he is viewed as the underdog in that match, but he's ready to prove the world wrong. Soon, Ryder was interrupted by Dolph Ziggler. Ziggler said that Ryder couldn't be anymore wrong. He's not viewed as an underdog, he's the laughing stock of the Elimination Chamber. The man who will walk out of the Chamber and into WrestleMania as WWE Champion is the man standing before him. The Show Off, everybody's favorite hashtag heel, the only man the world wants to see headline this and every WrestleMania after, him. Ziggler left the interview set as Ryder looked on at him, ready to make his mark in the Elimination Chamber match.
Cutting to the arena, the theme of Wade Barrett hit to the surprise of everyone. The 2012 Royal Rumble winner made his way out to the stage with a microphone, asking the world to keep quiet because he has an announcement to make. Three weeks ago, he outlasted 29 other superstars to win the Royal Rumble. Thus earning him a championship match at WrestleMania XXVIII. Up until now, he's remained silent about which championship he will going after. "I want everyone to know that I've made my decision. Right now, you're about to witness the Elimination Chamber match for the WWE Championship. Whoever wins will be walking into WrestleMania as the champion, but their only purpose will be to hand it to me. At WrestleMania, I will become the new WWE Champion." Barrett made his way to back as the crowd was buzzing about this announcement. So we now know that whoever wins the upcoming Elimination Chamber match for the WWE Championship match will go on to WrestleMania to defend the gold against Wade Barrett. This also now means that Daniel Bryan will receive a one on one World Heavyweight Championship match against whoever wins that Elimination Chamber match later on tonight.
The lights on the Elimination Chamber structure flickered as it lowered down to the ring. Up next, six men will battle it out inside the demonic structure for the WWE Championship. As the commentary unit were giving their thoughts, we abruptly cut to the backstage area as cameras were rushing to a scene. "What the hell happened?" shouted WWE Champion CM Punk as we saw him checking on Zack Ryder, who was motionless on the floor. Nobody knew what had happened, but from the looks of it, Ryder's dreams of going into WrestleMania may be over. Punk made his way out to the ring, clearly frustrated about whatever it was that happened to Ryder. He entered one of the pods, waiting for the rest of the competitors. Dolph Ziggler was out next, followed by R-Truth, and the man we know will enter last, Evan Bourne. Rob Van Dam was out next, not being locked in a pod as he will start things off, but with Zack Ryder being taken out, we don't know who Van Dam will face. Suddenly, the theme of Christian hit as the audience showered him with boos. Captain Charisma, who we haven't seen since his vicious attack on Edge, made his way down to the Elimination Chamber. The commentary unit debated as to whether or not it was Christian who took out Zack Ryder moments ago as revenge for putting a stop to his attack on Edge a few weeks back. The Chamber door was locked, officially meaning that Ryder is out and Christian is in.
Elimination Chamber Match for the WWE Championship CM Punk (c) vs. Rob Van Dam vs. Evan Bourne vs. United States Champion Zack Ryder Christian vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. R-Truth
The bell sounded as Christian and Van Dam kicked things off. The action quickly spilled onto the steel after a crossbody from RVD over the top rope. With Christian down, he went for Rolling Thunder, but caught nothing bull steel as Christian rolled out of the way. Christian stared at Punk in his pod, not forgetting about the loss he suffered at the Royal Rumble. He picked Van Dam up, who fought back with several strikes to the rib area. Christian charged towards him, but Van Dam ducked and kicked him into the chains. He threw Christian back into the ring, covering him to get a two count. As Van Dam went for another kick, Christian ducked it and rolled him up, though RVD managed to kick out. In a few moments, it was time for the first Chamber pod to open. Lights flickered over the four pods, soon landing on Dolph Ziggler. He quickly jumped into the ring, taking Van Dam down with a dropkick. He and Christian worked on him for a bit before Christian tried to roll Ziggler up. He kicked out before tossing Christian out onto the steel. When he turned around, Van Dam delivered a dropkick that sent him flying over the top, joining Christian on the steel. Van Dam launched himself over the top rope and onto Christian and Ziggler, laying the both of them and himself out. He was back on his feet first, rolling Christian into the ring to go for the cover. He kicked out as Ziggler re-entered the ring, taking Van Dam down with a clothesline. He locked in a Sleeper Hold as Van Dam backed into a corner, Christian hitting him with a running dropkick. As Van Dam was fading, Christian tried to surprise Dolph with the Killswitch. He was able to push Christian away and hit Van Dam with a Superkick. He got the cover, but RVD managed to kick out. When turned around, Christian connected him with a flying forearm. He backed into a corner, noticing Van Dam was stirring to his feet. He went for a Spear, but Van Dam dodged it as Christian rammed his shoulder into the steel ring post and the top of his head bouncing off of a Chamber pod. As the Chamber lights flickered, it was the defending champion's turn to enter. CM Punk's pod opened to a huge ovation from the audience, hitting a springboard clothesline onto Dolph Ziggler. He hoisted RVD up to his shoulders, though he was able to fight out of it and got a roll up. Punk managed to kick out of that, hitting Van Dam with a Roundhouse Kick. He lifted him up one more time, but was caught with a Spear from Christian. It took Captain Charisma a while to get the cover due his bad shoulder, but soon did to only garner a two count. He tossed Punk to the outside, stomping on him as he was backed against a pod. He asked for Ziggler to help him as the two worked on Punk, tossing him back first into the chains multiple times. In a few seconds, R-Truth joined the mix of things. He and Van Dam went at it for a bit as Ziggler and Christian continued to work on Punk. Their alliance was soon thrown away once again as Christian delivered a Spear onto the steel. Punk grabbed Christian, tossing him against the chains as a bit of payback. He then raked Captain Charisma's face on the chains before tossing him shoulder first into a pod, not breaking it, though. Van Dam missed a Five Star Frog Splash on Truth as the final pod opened, and Evan Bourne entering the match. As Van Dam was holding his ribs, Evan caught him with a Shining Wizard to get the first elimination of the match. Rob Van Dam is eliminated. CM Punk quickly went after Bourne, the two rivals going at it in the ring. Christian went after Punk as well, leading to the attention being taken off of Bourne. He climbed onto the top turnbuckle, then climbing onto one of the pods as he sat and simply watched the match. After Punk hit Christian with a running high knee, Ziggler hit him with a superkick during the bulldog. Punk managed to kick out at two in a close call. An enraged Dolph tossed Punk out onto the steel to deliver further punishment. Truth went for an Axe Kick on Christian, but missed and found himself being planted with a Killswitch. R-Truth is eliminated. As Ziggler had Punk in the Sleeper Hold on the outside, Christian locked one in on Ziggler. Both Christian and Ziggler were fighting to choke someone out first, but Punk was able to ram the both of them into the chains. With Ziggler and Christian down, Punk set his sights on Evan. He leaped off of the pod, trying to lock himself in one. The referees weren't able to do so as Punk backed Evan into the glass. He delivered multiple shots and kicks to a helpless as the audience went wild to see the Prince of People Power get what he's had coming to him. Punk then went back after Christian. After a short battle, Christian was gearing up for a Spear. Punk was able to counter it into a GTS, using Christian's feet to stop Ziggler from breaking it up. He hit Christian with it, covering him to eliminate him. Christian is eliminated. Even though Christian is out, the odds are still against Punk as Evan and Ziggler remain. When the door opened for Christian to exit, Zack Ryder hit the ring! He went right after Christian, the man we can presume took him out of this match. Several referees had to pull both Ryder and Christian apart as their brawl spilled into the ring. As the two of them were escorted to the back, Punk delivered a Roundhouse Kick to Bourne, looking to lift him for a GTS. Suddenly, Ziggler snuck up on him with a Zig Zag! He wasn't able to capitalize in time as Punk kicked out. Ziggler went over the Evan, telling him that they need to work together to take out Punk. The two did so for a well, but couldn't decide who wanted to get the elimination. Eventually, Bourne took Ziggler out with a jumping knee. Bourne went for a Shining Wizard, but Punk countered into a Powerbomb. Ziggler was back on his feet, hitting Punk with a kick to mid section, but found his Fameasser countered into a GTS, eliminating him. Dolph Ziggler is eliminated. Were now down to two as Punk quickly attempted to hoist Bourne up to his shoulders. Evan was able to fight out of it, rolling Punk up with his feet on the ropes. The referee caught him, stopping the count. Bourne stomped on Punk in a corner for a bit before charging at him, Punk lifting his knees just in time. He took Bourne down with multiple clotheslines. As Punk was going for a GTS, Bourne was able to counter it into a DDT, followed by a Shining Wizard! It looked to be over, Michael Cole losing it on commentary about Bourne becoming WWE Champion. He covered Punk, but only got a two count. Bourne was in complete shock as he was sure he had Punk put away. He went for another Shining Wizard, but Punk was able to counter it into GTS position. Bourne grabbed the top rope near a corner, holding on for dear life as Punk tried pulling him away. Instead, Punk rammed the top of Bourne's head into one of the glass pods. Bourne was out cold as Punk finished him off with the GTS to get the elimination and victory.
Winner: CM Punk (Still WWE Champion)
The audience erupted as Punk was declared the winner, being handed back his WWE Championship. He raised it high in the air as he hopped onto the second rope, staring at the WrestleMania XXVIII sign as he will be walking into Miami on April 1st as the champion. When Punk turned around, he was hit with a Big Boot from Wade Barrett. Barrett, who Punk will defend the WWE Title against at WrestleMania, stared down at him as he looked back at the WrestleMania sign. He lifted Punk up, planting him with Wasteland. The 2012 Royal Rumble winner scooped up the WWE Championship, raising it in the air as he stood over Punk.
Cutting backstage, R-Truth was shown walking to his locker room, disappointed that he couldn't win the WWE Championship just now. When he walked into the room, the Miz was shown packing their bags. When Truth asked him what he was doing, Miz said that since he's obviously not going to WrestleMania, they're going somewhere else. Miz left the room, Truth following him without a clue as to what he was talking about.
Singles Match Alberto Del Rio vs. Sin Cara
As Sin Cara was removing his entrance coat, Del Rio immediately went after him, not letting Cara have any preparation time. The referee backed Del Rio, resulting in Cara charging towards him with a dropkick to the leg, followed by another one to the head and neck area. Cara got the cover, but Del Rio was able to kick out. Sin Cara continued to hit a few kicks until Del Rio grabbed his leg, spinning him around and hitting a clothesline. He picked Sin Cara up, whipping him into a corner and charging into him. Del Rio stepped onto the second rope, looking to come down with a hammer fist. Cara was able to counter it, hitting a dropkick in mid air. He rolled Del Rio up, but couldn't get the three count. He attempted a springboard DDT, but Del Rio used his shoulder as a batter ram into the mid section of Sin Cara. After a kick to the rib area, Cara rolled out of the ring. Del Rio tossed him back first into the barricade before rolling him back into the ring. Cara backed against the corner as Del Rio went for a running enziguri, but he dodged it as Del Rio fell onto his upper back area. Cara responded with the Springboard DDT, only getting a two count, though. Cara attempted La Mistica, but Del Rio was able to counter it into a backbreaker. He pushed Cara's back down onto his knee, punishing the International Sensation. He rolled Cara over onto the mat to go for a cover, but only garnered a two count. Del Rio grew even more impatient, holding Cara's arm down onto the mat while stomping on it with his knee multiple times. He continued to target the arm, softening Sin Cara up for the Cross Armbreaker. As Del Rio was attempting to lock it in, Cara used his good arm to push him away, pulling him back with his trunks and getting a roll up. Del Rio kicked out of it, retaliating with a huge kick to Cara's skull. Surprisingly, he managed to kick out of that. Del Rio picked Sin Cara up, planting him with a German Suplex. After he kicked out, Del Rio hit another one, though he was met with the same results. As Del Rio was going for a third German Suplex, Sin Cara was able to counter it into a DDT. He followed up with a Springboard Moonsault, but Del Rio was able to get his knees up in time. He hit Sin Cara with an enziguri, but he got his foot on the bottom rope. Del Rio signaled that it was time to finish this. As he was attempting to lock in the Cross Armbreaker, Sin Cara caught him by surprise with a roll up that got him the victory.
Winner: Sin Cara
Sin Cara raised his arms in victory a look of shock came over the face of Alberto Del Rio. He had Cara right where he wanted him, but let the victory slip away from him as the very last second. As Cara was celebrating his victory, Del Rio pulled him down from the second rope. He stomped away on him as the audience showered Del Rio with boos, showing their displeasure for his sore loser attitude. Del Rio locked in the Cross Armbreaker, pulling back on the arm violently as Sin Cara submitted. Suddenly, the theme of Rey Mysterio hit as the audience erupted. Del Rio immediately stopped as he stared at the stage in shock. Mysterio made his way out to the stage, staring at the man who put him out of action six months ago. Rey ran down to the ring, ducking a clothesline from Del Rio and delivering a hurricarana to the outside. Mysterio stood tall in the ring as Del Rio backed up the entrance ramp, not wanting any part of Rey. The Master of 619 helped Sin Cara up to his feet as the two stood tall, Del Rio looking on from the stage.
Backstage, Josh Mathews was standing by with SmackDown's Mr. Money In The Bank, Daniel Bryan. Because of his victory earlier tonight against the Miz, Bryan will officially be heading to WrestleMania to cash in the briefcase for a World Heavyweight Championship. Also, because of Wade Barrett's announcement that he will be challenging for the WWE Championship, Bryan's World Title match will now be one on one against the winner of tonight's Elimination Chamber match. Bryan was ecstatic about his victory, saying that it's been a long road. When he was hired by the WWE, many believed he would fail. And for a while, he himself believed it. He never garnered a win during his time on NXT, and was even fired. But when he came back, he vowed to scratch and claw his way to the top. And at WrestleMania, all of the miles traveled, all of the injuries he's suffered, they'll all be worth it. Bryan was interrupted by Cody Rhodes, who gave him a slow clap. Cody said that while Bryan will be going to WrestleMania, he needs to understand something. His purpose on April 1st is to be a footnote in the history of the next World Heavyweight Champion, him. Cody walked away as Bryan looked on at him.
Cutting back to the arena, Jerry "The King" Lawler was shown in the ring. He said that a few weeks ago, it was announced that the Rated R Superstar, Edge, would be going into the WWE Hall Of Fame this year. And right now, we're about to find out who joins him as the second inductee. "Ladies and gentlemen, the second inductee into the WWE Hall Of Fame Class of 2012 is....." Soon, a familiar theme hit as Trish Stratus made her way out to a huge reception. The seven time Women's Champion made her way down to the ring, giving Lawler a hug before being handed the microphone. The audience chanted "Stratusfaction," leaving her a bit emotional. She thanked the audience for the warm reception, saying that a few weeks ago, she was watching RAW and found out about Edge's induction just like everyone else. A few days later, she got a call from Vince McMahon asking if she would like to be the next inductee into the Hall Of Fame. The audience popped again as she said that it was a no brainier for her. To be one of the few women in the Hall Of Fame is a huge honor, and she couldn't be any happier. However, she was soon interrupted by the Divas Champion, Beth Phoenix. Beth stepped into the ring, saying that this makes her sick. Valuable pay-per-view time is being given to a Diva of the past when the focus should be on the Diva of now and the future. The one who is single handedly putting the division in its most decorated state. "Trish, you're considered by many to be the greatest WWE Diva of all time. But the reality is that I'm taking that name." Trish told Beth that she's not trying to take the spotlight and actually wishes her and the rest of current Divas locker room luck. Beth said that she can see through Trish's lies. She's trembling in fear at the sight of her. And if she doesn't get out of her ring right now, she's going to regret. As Beth was saying that, the entire face Diva roster made their way out to the ring. They all met Beth face to face as she slowly backed away, not wanting to take on all of them at once. The Divas Champion made her way up the entrance ramp, telling Trish that this isn't the last she'll see of her. The Divas picked Trish up to their shoulders, continuing the celebration of her Hall Of Fame announcement.
Backstage, John Laurinaitis was shown in his office with Evan Bourne, Tensai, and David Otunga. All were disappointed with Bourne's loss in the Elimination Chamber, though Laurinaitis said that they do have a saving grace. Tomorrow, he and Otunga will meet Kofi Kingston's lawyer in the ring, and they have this one in the bag. "I don't care about court. I want my WWE Championship!" shouted Bourne. Soon, Heath Slater walked into the room. "Sorry about the loss, Evan, but I got something to cheer you up. A bit of vocal entertainment from the One Man People Power Band, baby!" As Slater began singing, Tensai grabbed him by his throat, pushing him into a wall as he choked the life out of him. Laurinaitis was able to calm Tensai down as Slater dropped to the floor unconscious.
Singles Match Big Show vs. Mark Henry
Back in November, Big Show was defeated by Mark Henry and, as a result, was forced to leave the WWE. After an attack on Teddy Long two weeks ago, the SmackDown GM chose re-instating Show as Henry's punishment. Show looked to be in a good shape tonight in his first match in 3 months. He and Henry met face to face in the middle of the ring, both of them very aware of their past. The bell sounded as Henry took the first shot, though Show retaliated as the two giants traded blows. Show grab Henry from his neck, pushing him into a corner. He delivered multiple strikes, but Henry covered up to block the shots. Show backed up, soon charging into Henry. Henry collapsed to the mat, getting up to his feet soon, only to be hit with the WMD. Show let out a huge scream as the audience popped, Henry motionless on the ground. Show knelt down and grabbed Henry's head, repeatedly delivering knockout shots. The referee tried to restrain Show as he was just brutally beating Henry down now. Show stopped him self and stood up as the official checked Henry. He declared him unable to compete as he called for the bell, putting a stop to contest.
Winner: Big Show via referee stoppage
Justin Roberts made the announcement that the referee had deemed Mark Henry unable to continue, giving Big Show the victory. Show didn't take any time to celebrate as he was back to delivering shot to Henry's skull. Show was relentless, not forgetting about the hell that Henry put him through for months last year. Several more officials ran down to the ring to try and calm the World's Largest Athlete down. Show was soon on his feet as the referees backed away from him. He delivered one final shot to Henry before leaving up the entrance ramp, finally getting his long awaited revenge on the World's Strongest Man.
A video package was shown for WrestleMania XXVIII, featuring one of the official theme songs, "Tonight is the Night" by Outasight. WrestleMania is live in 42 days.
Returning to the arena, the commentary unit expressed their excitement for WrestleMania XXVIII. It is there in Miami that the year long wait will end as John Cena and the Rock finally meet one on one. However, Cena meets a road block tonight in the form of the Game, Triple H. A video package was shown for their upcoming match, taking us back to the first RAW of 2011. It was there when Triple H called Cena out, saying that he's not ready to face the Rock and can't beat him unless he "embraces the hate." Cena delivered a punch to the COO that resulted in a four week suspension. During that time, Triple H found himself called out by the Undertaker. Hunter stated that he could see in the Deadman's eyes what he wanted, and that is a match at WrestleMania XXVIII. He declined the challenge, leading to Cena ridiculing him for it. Cena and Triple H finally have the opportunity to go one on one tonight, with influences one another possible. Can John Cena persuade Hunter to accept the Undertaker's challenge, or can the Game make the hate flow throughout Cena?
Singles Match John Cena vs. Triple H
After the bell sounded, both Cena and Triple H looked around the arena as the "Let's go Cena!/Cena sucks!" chants could be heard. Hunter told Cena to listen to them and to let their hate overtake him. Cena responded with a closed fist, the same thing that got him suspended for four weeks last month. He struck Triple H a few more times, backing him against the ropes. Hunter delivered a knee to the mid section, taking over from there with strikes of his own. He whipped Cena into the ropes, looking for an overhead slam, though Cena was able to stop himself and deliver a DDT. He got the cover, but Triple H managed to kick out in time. Cena kept a rest hold on Hunter for a bit before being pushed into the ropes. Cena hit Hunter with a shoulder block, running the ropes before being struck with a high knee. Triple H clotheslined Cena over the top rope as he exited the ring as well. He whipped Cena into the ring steps, tossing him back in to garner a two count. Hunter stomped on Cena a bit more in a corner before being pulled away by the referee. When he went back on the attack, Cena lifted his feet up to kick him in the face, biding him some time. He was climbing onto the top rope, but Hunter interrupted him as he climbed up onto the second rope. He was looking to be going for a Superplex, bur Cena fended him off and pushed him to the mat. He came flying off the top rope, dropping a leg on the back of Hunter's head. He covered him, but Triple H managed to kick out. With Hunter in position, Cena raised his hand in the air, telling the Game "You can't see me!" Hunter was able to stop the Five Knuckle Shuffle attempt and plant Cena with a Spinebuster, only getting another two count. Triple H could be seen growing incredibly frustrated with the resiliency of Cena. He picked him up and placed him in Pedigree position, but Cena was able to push him away. What he didn't know was that he sent Hunter crashing into the referee. When Triple H turned around, Cena hoisted him up for an Attitude Adjustment, but Hunter slid off of his shoulders and took him down with a clothesline. With the referee out, the Game went out to ringside and pulled a sledgehammer out from underneath the ring. After Cena turned around, Hunter swung the hammer, but Cena was able to catch it before it connected with his face. He pushed Hunter away as he had the hammer in his possession. "Do it! Hit me! Embrace the hate, John!" shouted Hunter as it looked like Cena was contemplating taking advantage of the situation. Suddenly, the referee was back on his feet and ripped the sledgehammer out of Cena's hands. As he was tossing it away, Triple H hit Cena with a low blow and followed up with a Pedigree. He hooked Cena's legs, but he somehow managed to kick out. Hunter was fuming as he and entire world thought for sure that would put Cena away. He picked him up into position for another Pedigree, but a gong was sounded as the audience erupted. The lights on the WrestleMania XXVIII sign flickered as Hunter began looking around. Cena was able to capitalize and hoist Triple H up to his shoulders, hitting him with an Attitude Adjustment. He covered the Game to finally get the victory.
Winner: John Cena
A mixed reaction emerged from the Milwaukee audience as Cena stood to his feet, raising his arms in victory. The lights on the WrestleMania sign were steady again as Cena stared at it, knowing that the time is closer now. In six weeks, he will meet the Rock in the biggest match of his career. Cena stared at the camera, saying "Dwayne, make your move now." He made his way up the entrance ramp, happy to finally put Triple H behind him and put his focus on the Rock and Miami. Hunter, on the other hand, was livid in the ring as he realized that the Undertaker's mind games costed him this victory.
Backstage, World Heavyweight Champion Kane was shown placing his metallic mask on his head before leaving the boiler room. Up next, he defends the World Title in the Elimination Chamber match. The winner will go on to WrestleMania to defend against the man who will be cashing in his Money In The Bank briefcase, Daniel Bryan. Returning to the arena, the Chamber structure was shown descending down to the ring. The commentators reminded us that earlier tonight, we saw CM Punk retain his WWE Championship. Can the same fortune come for Kane, or will we have a new World Heavyweight Champion?
Elimination Chamber Match for the World Heavyweight Championship Kane (c) vs. Intercontinental Champion Sheamus vs. Dean Ambrose vs. Chris Jericho vs. Randy Orton vs. Cody Rhodes
Kane, Rhodes, Ambrose, and Orton all made their entrance first, all four being locked in their pods. Kane and Orton, knowing what the confines of the Chamber feel like, looked to be very comfortable in this structure. Cody and Ambrose are experiencing their first Chamber match, but didn't look bother. Ambrose was even banging his head on the glass. Jericho and Sheamus made their entrances next as they will be starting things off here. The bell sounded as the two of them went at it, Jericho quickly going for the Walls of Jericho. Sheamus was able to rolled Jericho out of it, retaliating with several hammer fists. He repeatedly rammed his shoulder into Jericho's mid section before charging at him. Jericho was able to move out of harm's way, catching Sheamus with a bulldog off the rebound. He placed one foot on Sheamus' chest as he shouted "Come on, baby!" but only got a count of two. He kept an armbar on Sheamus for a bit as the audience clapped in unison, trying to bring energy to the Great White. Sheamus was able to stand up and fight out of the hold, planting Jericho with a Sidewalk Slam. He attempted a Brogue Kick, but Jericho was able to dodge it and hit an Enziguri. The countdown clock appeared on the screen, signalling that another superstar will join the fray. The lights flickered across all four pods as it steadied on Kane. The World Heavyweight Champion was released from his pod, taking Jericho down with a big boot. He and Sheamus traded blows in an encounter that ensued a nice response from the audience. Kane went for a Chokeslam, but Sheamus was able to counter it into a DDT. Jericho rolled him up, but the Intercontinental Champion kicked out. When Jericho stood up, he found his throat in Kane's grasp. He delivered a low blow to Kane as Sheamus caught him with a Brogue Kick, covering him to get the first and biggest elimination of the match. Kane is eliminated. The entire arena looks on in shock. The World Heavyweight Champion is the first superstar eliminated, meaning we are now guaranteed to crown a new champion. Even the superstars in their pods could be seen in disbelief. Kane sat up soon, realizing what had happened. He stared at Sheamus endlessly, his eyes filled with hatred. Kane exited the Chamber, not taking his eyes off of the Great White. When Sheamus turned around, Jericho attempted a Codebreaker. Sheamus was able to use his strength to prevent the maneuver from being hit, tossing Jericho over his head. He clotheslined Y2J over the top rope and onto the steel as the countdown clock appeared again. Dean Ambrose was out next, quickly grabbing Sheamus and tossing him back first into one of the empty pods. The sick, psychotic face of Ambrose was shown as he grabbed Jericho, violently raking his face across the chains. Ambrose tossed him back into the ring, getting a cover to get a two count. He repeatedly struck Jericho with closed fists until Sheamus was back on his feet. Ambrose swung at him, but Sheamus blocked it and delivered a heavy forearm. He took Ambrose down with a shoulder block before attempting the High Cross. Jericho slid out of Sheamus' grasp, planting him with a neckbreaker. Ambrose quickly rammed Jericho into a corner, hitting him with repeated elbow strikes. As he backed up, Sheamus rolled him up. Ambrose managed to kick out as Jericho hit him with a clothesline to the back of the head. It was time for another superstar to enter the mix of things as the countdown expired and the lights flickered over Orton and Cody's pods. It stopped on Orton as the audience erupted. The Viper quickly exited his pod, taking Jericho and Ambrose down with clotheslines and scoop slams. He and Sheamus traded blows before he clotheslined the Intercontinental Champion over the top. Orton stepped to the outside as Ambrose went back after him. Orton was able to get the better of him as he pulled him out through the second rope, planting him with a DDT onto the steel. With Orton on his knees staring down at Ambrose, Sheamus caught him with his knee around the head and neck area. He tossed Orton back into the ring, covering him for a two count. Jericho hit Sheamus a few times on his back before being pushed away. Ambrose snuck up behind Sheamus, placing him in a head lock as Jericho kicked him in the mid section a few times. Orton grabbed Ambrose, throwing him back-first into the steel. He went after Jericho, taking down with a Dropkick. Sheamus stalked Orton from behind, waiting for him to turn around. He went for a Brogue Kick, but Orton ducked it and hit his inverted backbreaker. As he was stalking Sheamus for the RKO, the countdown clock appeared as it's time for the final superstar, Cody Rhodes, to enter. Orton chose to turn his attention to Rhodes, waiting for him to exit his pod. Rhodes did so as Ambrose attacked Orton from behind. The two stomped on Orton for a bit, soon delivering a double suplex onto the steel. Rhodes went after Jericho in the ring, nearly planting him with Cross Rhodes. Jericho was going for the Walls of Jericho on Cody, but he was able to kick him away. As Cody was stirring to his feet, Ambrose caught him with a Knee Trembler to eliminate him. Cody Rhodes is eliminated. With Rhodes eliminated, Orton, Jericho, Sheamus, and Ambrose remained. Ambrose went after Jericho, looking to plant him with a Midnight Special. Sheamus was able to catch him with a Brogue Kick, but Ambrose fell out onto the steel. When Sheamus turned around, Jericho caught him with a Codebreaker, covering him to eliminate the Intercontinental Champion. Sheamus is eliminated. Jericho turned his attention to Orton, who was still out on the steel. As he was picking him up, the Viper retaliated as he rammed Jericho into one of the pods. Ambrose snuck up behind Orton, planting him with an inverted DDT onto the steel. He rolled Orton into the ring, getting a two count. He called Jericho over as the two worked over Orton for a bit. The two of them punished the Viper as Jericho locked in the Walls of Jericho. Before Orton could submit, Ambrose hit Jericho a headbutt. He backed into a corner, noticing Orton was stirring to his feet. Ambrose went for the Knee Trembler, but Orton dodged it and planted him with an RKO, covering Ambrose and getting the three count. Dean Ambrose is eliminated. The audience popped as not only has Randy Orton eliminated Dean Ambrose, but the Viper has handed him his first loss in WWE. It was now down to Orton and Jericho as one of them will be walking into WrestleMania as the World Heavyweight Champion. Orton staled Jericho, looking to finish things at that moment with an RKO. Jericho was able to push Orton away, hitting him with an Enziguri. He attempted to lock in the Walls of Jericho, but Orton rolled him out of it. The Viper kicked Jericho in the mid section and was looking for a Powerbomb, but Jericho was able to counter it into a vicious Codebreaker. Jericho crawled to Orton, covering him and hooking the leg to get the elimination, victory, and championship.
Winner: Chris Jericho (NEW World Heavyweight Champion)
The audience booed as Jericho raised his arms in victory. He was handed the World Heavyweight Championship as he kissed it and clutched it to his chest. For the second time, Chris Jericho will be leaving the Elimination Chamber as the World Heavyweight Champion. As Jericho was celebrating, the theme of Daniel Bryan hit as he marched down to the ring with his Money In The Bank briefcase. Jericho was repeatedly shouting "No!" as he thought that Bryan was going to cash in the briefcase right there. Instead, Bryan pointed to the WrestleMania XXVIII sign as Jericho looked back at it. Bryan raised the Money In The Bank briefcase high in the air as Jericho raised the World Heavyweight Title. The stage is now set. Daniel Bryan has been waiting since July 17th for this moment, and now knows that he will be meeting Chris Jericho for the World Heavyweight Championship on April 1st at WrestleMania XXVIII.

Alright. Elimination Chamber! Solid opening match with the long rivalry of Miz and Bryan. Glad to see Daniel keep the Money in the Bank... but I am liking the Mick Foley thing. Shall be interesting when he and Miz obviously face at WrestleMania. Wade Barrett choosing the WWE Championship is interesting. Big match with him versus CM Punk at WrestleMania. Will be intrigued by this one as it sounds kind of odd, but I hope you can make it work out well. Sin Cara beating Alberto Del Rio is nice, and I like the appearance of Rey Mysterio. I'm anticipating either a triple threat match or even a twist of a tag team match. Trish Stratus being inducted to the Hall of Fame I can dig. She deserves it. Lol at Tensai screwing up Slater. Interesting way to go with Big Show and Mark Henry, and now I am left to wonder what is going to happen next for both. John Cena getting the win over Triple H gives him tons of momentum going into WrestleMania. I do like the Undertaker mind games too, as it gives more fuel to the fire for HHH-Taker. Lastly, a good main event with Chris Jericho getting the World Heavyweight Championship. Him going up against Daniel Bryan? Sounds familiar. Good show.

Elimination Chamber Divas on the Pre-Show is odd, but at least it gives them some time to work. Interesting choice to have Bryan and Miz kick off the show. Not too bad I suppose, good to see Bryan keep the briefcase in tact. Foley and Miz at Wrestlemania is a given, I really hope it's with no DQs, Foley can't wrestle a singles match anymore. Nice little segment with Dolph and Ryder. Oh wow, nice swerve with Barrett picking the WWE Champion. Even though this makes it pretty obvious that Punk will retain, if it wasn't already. Interesting twist with Christian taking out Ryder, disheartening that Ryder didn't make it in however. Punk retaining was obvious yet still the right call. A Punk and Barrett match at Wrestlemania could be really good. Barrett wasting no time I see, nice post match attack. Wonder what Awesome Truth have planned. Sin Cara picking up the win over Del Rio was the right call. Great return from Mysterio, hopefully we get the Mysterio and Cara match at Mania. Keep Del Rio out of that, to be honest. Interesting segment with Trish, the new Hall of Famer, and Beth. Wrestlemania card can be stacked if you have Rock/Cena, Triple H/Undertaker, Punk/Barrett, Mysterio/Cara, Bourne/Kingston, Miz Foley, Trish/Beth, and whoever Bryan faces. Slater! <3 Kind of hate how Henry/Big Show ended. I know it's Big Show, and he's out for revenge, but he just destroyed him. Hopefully Henry retaliates and we can get a proper blow off match at Mania. Great match with Hunter and Cena, they work well with each other. Like the spot with Cena holding the sledgehammer and Triple H yelling at him to hit him and embrace the 'hate.' Good to see Cena pick up the victory, something he needs heading into 'Mania with Rock. Great Chamber to close out the show. Shocked to see Kane out first. Orton and Jericho being the final is the best choice, imo. Great to see Jericho win, a match with Bryan at Wrestlemania should be fantastic. Solid show, Wrestlemania should be fantastic.

RAW Supershow | February 20th, 2012 | Minneapolis, MNWWE Superstars 2/23 Taping Results Curt Hawkins and Tyler Reks def. Derrick Bateman and Percy Watson Jack Swaggeridef. Santino Marella
- Prior to the RAW Supershow intro, we saw the Miz driving down a highway. He said that because of recent events, he is not in Minneapolis for Monday Night RAW this evening. But he wants to make sure that the WWE Universe follows him on his trip, which is why he brought R-Truth along to document everything. Truth turned the camera around to him, saying that the world is going to want to stick around with Awesome Truth because they're going to leave them talking when the night is over.
- After the into and pyro display, cameras scanned over the audience here in Minneapolis as Michael Cole and Jerry "The King" Lawler welcomed everyone to Monday Night RAW. With the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view behind us, we now look directly ahead at the global phenomenon known as WrestleMania! But tonight certainly looks to be a huge night. Because of what transpired last night at Elimination Chamber, United States Champion Zack Ryder will meet Christian one on one. Plus, the lawyer of Kofi Kingston is set to meet with both John Laurinaitis and David Otunga tonight to give the details of Kofi's lawsuit. All that and more tonight on Monday Night RAW.
- Cameras scanned the audience once again as the theme of John Cena hit to the usual mixed reaction. Cena made his way out to the stage, staring directly at the WrestleMania XXVIII sign as he turned to the camera, saying "Put this thing into gear, we're on our way to Miami!" He ran down to the ring, a smile lighting up his face as last night, he was able to overcome Triple H in what was an incredibly hard fought battle. He grabbed a microphone, examining the audience's response. Cena said that last night, he stepped into the ring with the King Of Kings and came out on top, no embracing of the hate needed. With that behind him, there's one thing now to look forward to. The one thing that he's been looking forward to for almost one year now. "Hunter wanted me to embrace the hate. The only thing I will be embracing is the moment. The moment where I finally have Dwayne in the middle of ring on the grandest stage of them all with the roof open and the stars shining bright on us! And the moment when I can finally say that I laid the smackdown on the Rock in his own backyard." About this time a year ago, Dwayne said that he was back for good and that he was never leaving. "Let's see. Hmm, you showed up at WrestleMania last year, then the night after, then on your birthday. Oh, and Survivor Series. Where have you been since? I've been here every night I've been able to and perform for each and every single person who tunes in Mondays and spends their hard earned money to come enjoy a WWE event. Rock, we're less than six weeks away from the biggest match of our careers. Don't wait until then to 'bring it.' Rock, I'm inviting you to RAW next week to meet me in this ring face to face. Whatever it is you want to say to me, don't hold back. Because I damn sure won't." Cena dropped his microphone as his music hit one more time, getting the crowd amped up for the rest of the evening as the commentators hyped the meeting between Cena and the Rock for next week's RAW.
- Backstage, cameras were shown in the office of John Laurinaitis as People Power prepare for a huge night. Laurinaitis made sure that Otunga has everything ready for when they meet Kofi's lawyer tonight. Bourne also has a match with Rob Van Dam later on tonight, Evan making sure that Tensai would be in his corner. They all then turned their attention to Christian as he prepares to meet Zack Ryder next. Laurinaitis told him that Ryder has been a thorn in their side for some time now, and needs to make the most of this match. "Finish what you started last night," said Laurinaitis as Christian assured him that Ryder won't be doing much fist pumping after tonight, just like Edge isn't doing much walking right now. He made his way out of the office as he meets Ryder, next.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning to RAW, a screenshot of the WWE.com homepage was shown, the headline being CM Punk's successful title defense in the Elimination Chamber match last night. However, he was ambushed post-match by Wade Barrett, who announced that he will be going after Punk's WWE Championship at WrestleMania XXVIII. Both Punk and Barrett are here tonight, and fireworks are sure to explode between the two.
- UNITED STATES CHAMPION ZACK RYDER VS. CHRISTIAN NEVER STARTED: As Christian was making his entrance, he was attacked from behind by Zack Ryder as a bit of payback for last night. Ryder let all of his frustrations out on Christian for both the ambush against Edge a few weeks back and against him at Elimination Chamber. Several officials were on the scene to restrain the two, eventually leading to John Laurinaitis coming out and taking Christian to the back. Ryder tried to run towards Christian, but the officials held back the United States Champion.
- Cutting to the "Truth Cam," Miz was shown stopping at a gas station. He said that this is their last stop before they reach their destination, so he wanted Truth to give the WWE Universe a bit of an explanation, but not too much. Truth turned the camera to himself, saying that sometimes, things don't go your way. And when they don't, you take it out on those responsible. "Truth is, nothing that happens tonight is on Miz's hands. You made him do it."
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning from the commercial break, a quick recap of the chaotic situation between Zack Ryder and Christian was shown. We then cut to John Laurinaitis' office, where Captain Charisma was fuming. He said that what Ryder did was totally uncalled for and he wants immediate action. "You know what, you're right," said Laurinaitis. "This is a match that I wanted to see, and it will happen. Christian, you will get Zack Ryder, and you're getting him at WrestleMania. And because of his actions, that match will be for the United States Championship." Laurinaitis then said that Christian will still be competing tonight, and it's going to be in a Royal Rumble rematch against the WWE Champion, CM Punk.
- BRODUS CLAY DEF. JOHN MORRISON VIA COUNTOUT: After their encounter last week, both Brodus and Morrison were ready to go at one another. As Brodus was getting ready for the running splash, Morrison could see him on the titantron, prompting him to slide out of the ring. Morrison made his way up the entrance ramp, not looking back at Brodus or the referee as he reached the 10 count.
- The audience booed Morrison as the announcement was made that Brodus Clay was the winner due to a countout. Despite that, he and the Funkadactyls danced in the ring as the disco ball shined bright. Suddenly, Morrison re-emerged as he clipped Brodus' knee from behind, stomping away on him. Morrison hit a superkick onto Brodus before standing tall over him as the audience continued to boo him.
- Cutting to the parking lot, a limo pulled up as Triple H exited it. Josh Mathews approached the COO, asking for his thoughts on last night's loss to John Cena. Triple H stopped, removed his sunglasses and said that for the past few weeks, the Undertaker has wanted his attention. Now, he's got it. Hunter continued on as we should expect to hear from the Game tonight regarding the Undertaker's challenge for a rematch at WrestleMania XXVIII.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning to RAW, Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler briefly discussed how WrestleMania is shaping up at this point. As we found out last night at Elimination Chamber, CM Punk will defend the WWE Championship against Wade Barrett, as well as a World Heavyweight Championship match between Chris Jericho and Daniel Bryan. There is one match taking place at WrestleMania this can have a huge impact on the winner of both matches, that being the Money In The Bank Ladder Match. 9 times the briefcase has been cashed it, 9 times a new champion has been crowned. Right now, we found out who will be the first superstar to put their name in the mix of things for Money In The Bank.
- DOLPH ZIGGLER DEF. ALEX RILEY TO QUALIFY FOR MONEY IN THE BANK: A solid bout to kick off the qualifying matches that will continue throughout the weeks leading up to WrestleMania. As Riley was going for the TKO, Ziggler was able to slide off and hit the Zig Zag to get the victory.
- Ziggler stared up at the briefcase as the official raised his arm in victory. A graphic was shown for the match as Ziggler solidifies himself as the first of eight superstars to be competing for an opportunity at the WWE or World Heavyweight Championship any time over the next year.
- Returning to the "Truth Cam," he and Miz were shown still driving. Miz said that he was just informed by the world of Twitter that Zack Ryder is facing Christian at WrestleMania. He wished luck to Christian, saying that Ryder has no business being in the spot that he's currently. "Speaking of Ryder....." said Miz as Truth turned the camera around. A sign that rad "Now entering Long Island" could be seen in the distance.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- A promo was shown for SmackDown this Friday. After a daunting Elimination Chamber match, it was Chris Jericho who walked out as the new World Heavyweight Champion. Daniel Bryan retained possession of his Money In The Bank briefcase as two of the WWE's most talented competitors are set to square off on the grandest stage of them all. Friday Night SmackDown, this Friday on SyFy.
- Cutting to the arena, the theme of Triple H hit as the COO made his way out to the stage. A bit of a different look as Hunter was not sporting a suit as he's been for the past few weeks. He wasted no time as he grabbed a microphone, saying that last night should've been different. He should've kicked John Cena's ass to the point that Cena finally embraced the hate. But because of mind games, that didn't happen. Undertaker wanted his attention, and now he's got it. Not just Cena, but a lot of people have been saying the same thing, and that's that he is afraid of competing against the Undertaker on the grandest stage of them all. "Let me remind everybody. Undertaker won last year, but he didn't walk away. I made one mistake and it cost me dearly. I know if we were to do it again, I'd have my hand raised in victory as I stand tall over you and your streak." Hunter then said that while he believes he can beat the Undertaker, he declined the challenge out of respect. He respects the Deadman for everything that he's done for the business. Initially, he didn't want to be the guy to take out the Undertaker because 'Taker has been wrong about something. He refers to himself as the "Last Outlaw," but in reality, he isn't the single last outlaw. They both are. They're the last standing of a generation. And once they're gone, so is that generation. But, Undertaker has made it clear that he wants this match to happen. He wants them both to go down and he wants their breed to become extinct at WrestleMania XXVIII. "So Undertaker.......I accept your challenge." The audience popped huge for the announcement. Hunter then said that he wasn't finished. "I'll accept the challenge on one condition, Undertaker. A condition that will ensure that this is it. 'Taker, me and you........WrestleMania...........Hell in a Cell!" Again, the audience erupted as Triple H dropped his microphone and left the ring. The rematch between the final two of a generation will indeed take place at WrestleMania, and not just that, it will happen in the most ominous structure in WWE history, Hell in a Cell.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning to Monday Night RAW, a recap of Triple H's promo was shown, where he accepted the challenge from the Undertaker for a match at WrestleMania XXVIII, and upped it to a Hell in a Cell match. Michael Cole informed the viewers at home that during commercial break, he received a confirmation that this match will indeed happen on April 1st in Miami.
- EVAN BOURNE W/ JOHN LAURINAITIS, DAVID OTUNGA, AND TENSAI DEF. ROB VAN DAM: Evan Bourne had the full People Power stable with him at ringside, definitely giving him the unfair advantage. As Van Dam was going for the Five Star Frog Splash, Laurinaitis distracted the referee as Tensai pushed Van Dam off the top turnbuckle. This allowed Bourne to capitalize and catch him with a Shining Wizard to get the victory.
- John Laurinaitis raised Bourne's arm in victory as Tensai lifted him up to his shoulders, the celebration continuing briefly before it was time to get to business. Laurinaitis grabbed a microphone, saying that a little over a week ago, he was presented with a lawsuit from Kofi Kingston for wrongful termination. He's not afraid because he has the best damn attorney in the world at his side. So whoever Kofi's lawyer is, he wants them to come down to the ring right now. A few seconds passed as their was no arrival of a lawyer. "Johnny....." said Otunga as he turned around. "......I represent Kofi Kingston." The audience erupted as Laurinaitis looked as if he had seen a ghost. Otunga said that he spoke with Kofi not too long ago, and they were able to create a list of demands. Their list will be reviewed and finalized later on this week, and presented next Monday. Laurinaitis' eyes were still wide opened as the "best damn attorney in the world" is on Kofi's side now. All of the abuse from Laurinaitis and Evan finally made Otunga see things differently. As Otunga was leaving the ring, Tensai pulled him back in, planting him with a Chokebomb. Tensai held Otunga up on his knees as Bourne badmouthed him before hitting a Shining Wizard. Laurinaitis was still crushed as Evan and Tensai stood tall over their now former attorney.
- In another "Truth Cam" segment, Miz noted that this is where the trip gets a little hectic. They were able to find directions on how to get to Long Island, but not necessarily their destination. Miz came to a stop as he exited the car to go into a convenient store. Truth put the camera on himself, saying that it should be Lil' Jimmy's bed time. And he hopes Momma Jimmy puts him to sleep soon, because what Miz is going to do isn't suitable television for Jimmy. Miz soon came back to the car, saying that he was able to get directions from the clerk of the store.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning to RAW, John Laurinaitis was shown walking back to his office with Tensai and Evan Bourne. Bourne told Laurinaitis that they don't need Otunga. They can take him and Kofi in court. "Evan, we're done. Nobody knows better than me how good David is. If he wanted to sue me for everything I'm worth, he could." The hopeless John Laurinaitis entered his office as Evan and Tensai looked on at him.
- DIVAS CHAMPION BETH PHOENIX DEF. TAMINA: A very solid outing from two of the more stronger Divas here in WWE. After Tamina failed to successfully hit the Superfly Splash, Beth locked in the Full Nelson, eventually forcing Tamina to submit.
- Beth was handed her Divas Championship as she demanded a microphone. She said that last night, the world buzzed about Trish Stratus and the announcement that she will be going into the Hall Of Fame this year. For weeks now, she's been reshaping the Divas division into something worth talking about. But she doesn't want to stop at the current roster because that will very boring, very fast. She wants to make her mark on the division by taking out the face of it. "Trish, I don't care about your Hall Of Fame induction. I'm laying out the challenge for a match at WrestleMania. And if you need a bit more persuasion, I'll even put the Divas Championship on the line. I want an answer next week."
- Cutting backstage, John Laurinaitis was shown in his office with his head down on his desk. Christian and Evan Bourne were talking as Tensai stood by the door. "So Tensai is going to be out there with me in my match against Punk, right?" asked Christian. Evan said that Tensai is his bodyguard, nobody else's. Christian said that he needs protection out there because he knows Zack Ryder is going to try and pull a fast one on him again. Soon, Heath Slater walked into the room, immediately noticing Tensai. "We got off on the wrong foot yesterday, big guy, but let's put that behind us. Johnny! Bad time? Evan! Don't worry. Otunga ain't all that good. Christian! Remember me? Heath Slater? NXT?" Christian let out a sigh before telling Slater to follow him. Christian meets WWE Champion CM Punk, next.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- A promo was shown for WrestleMania XXVIII, live Sunday April 1st, only on pay-per-view with a special start time of 6E/5C.
- Returning to RAW, Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler informed the viewers at home of a tweet from Trish Stratus saying "I saw Beth's challenge. I'll be there next week." Along with that announcement, there's been some word that the Undertaker will be here as well to address the Hell in a Cell match with Triple H at WrestleMania. Three of the biggest names in WWE history, the Rock, the Undertaker, and Trish Stratus, all on RAW next week!
- WWE CHAMPION CM PUNK DEF. CHRISTIAN W/ HEATH SLATER: A very good bout to close out Monday Night RAW. Christian was looking for a bit of revenge in this Royal Rumble rematch, while Punk was looking to keep the momentum rolling as he defends the WWE Championship against Wade Barrett at WrestleMania. Speaking of Barrett, he made his way out to the stage mid-match. Heath Slater was out there with Christian to look out for Zack Ryder, even though Slater was obviously a last resort choice for Captain Charisma. After Christian missed a Spear, Punk rolled him up to get the victory.
- The audience popped as Punk raised his arms in victory, soon being handed the WWE Championship. As he was celebrating, Christian struck him from behind with a steel chair. As he was looking to hit him once again, United States Champion Zack Ryder quickly ran down to the ring. He and Christian brawled once again, soon spilling into the audience. As Punk was getting to his feet, Heath Slater grabbed the steel chair. He swung it at Punk's head, but the WWE Champion dodged it as the chair bounced off of the top rope, cracking Slater in the forehead. Barrett tried to get into the ring, but Punk picked up the chair to keep him away. As Barrett backed up the entrance ramp, Punk picked Slater up and planted him with a GTS. Punk stood tall with the WWE Championship, shouting "Best in the world!" as Barrett looked on, ready to take the title in six weeks at WrestleMania XXVIII.
- Cutting to the "Truth Cam," Miz stopped the car, saying "This is it." He exited the vehicle as Truth followed him. The two of them arrived at a house as Miz walked up the door. After ringing the bell, a woman opened it. Miz asked if they could come in, to which the woman responded "I'd prefer if you didn't." Miz didn't care for her wishes as he opened the rest of the door himself, Truth following him inside. Miz slowly walked around the house, asking for the woman's husband. "Look, I'm going to call the cops if you don't leave now," said the woman. Miz told her that she didn't answer his question. "Where's Mick?" She said that he's out of town. Miz chuckled before saying "Why am I not surprised. Foley must have had some idea of our intentions, Truth. So he bailed town." Foley's wife once again asked Miz to leave. He slowly approached her, eventually backing her into a wall. "You don't get it, do you? Your husband screwed me and Truth out of our WWE Tag Team Championships. Then, his stupid music cost me the main event of WrestleMania twice. We'll leave now, but you tell Mick that we came here, and that the Miz wants a match with him at WrestleMania." Foley's wife was clearly frightened as Miz and Truth left the house, sending a clear message to Mick Foley that the Awesome One is seeking revenge against the Hardcore Legend at WrestleMania XXVIII.

WWE RAW Supershow: Monday 13th February 2012...Derrick Bateman beating JTG is cool, I'd love to see you have Bateman is a semi-permanent role on RAW running comedy skits, he's got great charisma for it. Jack Swagger beating Alex Riley seems to happen a lot on Superstars, but I'm sure it was a good, suitable main event. Onto the show, decent promo with John Laurinaitis coming out. It follows up on him finding out he's being sued by Kofi Kingston. You should try and use WWE.com articles to help support this throughout the week though, I can't imagine there'd be a week of Laurinaitis being upset about being sued; there could be some revelation announced throughout the week or something of the sort. Ah well, it's 2012, the age of social networking and whatnot. Just an "extra mile" suggestion. The People Power Party with David Otunga, Evan Bourne and Tensai (odd-combo, interesting contrast though). I liked John Cena's interruptions, and loved his insults towards them, very original. Cena and CM Punk teaming against Evan Bourne and Tensai? Sounds one-sided, but heh, we'll see. My only complaint is that it seems like the other Elimination Chamber opponents have been swept under the rug from Bourne and Punk's exchanges. Zack Ryder beating Dolph Ziggler was a fair call, good opening contest too to kick off. Ryder is definitely the underdog going into the Elimination Chamber match. Curt Hawkins and Tyler Reks joining Laurinaitis' corporation, brilliant! Please use them effectively. The Bella Twins beating Kelly Kelly in a handicap match was nice, good abuse of power from Eve as Executive Administrator. AJ and the Miz's exchange was amusing. The Miz and Alberto Del Rio then beating Daniel Bryan and Sin Cara was fine, great match I'd imagine. No YouTube Pre-Show match announced for Sunday? Weird, that's usually the reason why people tune in. Brodus Clay's random appearance had to lead to an interruption, and I like that John Morrison interrupted. Not so keen on Brodus being kept strong here though, I think Morrison should have attacked him. Brodus and the Funkadactyls came off sort of heelish here. I'm wondering if you're planning on having another Cena and Punk feud after WrestleMania XXVIII. Cena's certainly in the middle of a busy year. Hahahah, Heath Slater in Laurinaitis' office was fun. R-Truth beating Rob Van Dam was good, although probably would be even better in a different location on the card. And lastly, good tag team main event leading to chaos unraveling to promote the WWE Championship match this Sunday at Elimination Chamber. Overall, a solid go-home show, I enjoyed it a lot.
WWE Friday Night SmackDown: Friday 17th February 2012...Maxine beating Alicia Fox was fair. Johnny Curtis and Drew McIntyre? Interesting experiment but they sound like such an odd couple to me. Curtis is a little too weird for McIntyre's more masculine, serious character. Cody Rhodes in the ring to start was different, it really set things up for Theodore Long coming out. Realistic. Wow, big tag team match to open things up. A good one though, Kane and Randy Orton getting the win over Chris Jericho and Cody Rhodes was probably the better call. I wonder what the main event will be now. Nice bit of aftermath attacking to promote the World Heavyweight Championship Elimination Chamber match this Sunday. I'm looking forward to what match pairings you have in store for Justin Gabriel and Tyson Kidd as WWE Tag Team Champions. Good win for Gabriel against Hunico, it's like a cool exchange for a cruiserweight division, this feud. I'm expecting a rematch for the titles at Elimination Chamber. Dean Ambrose's promo was great, although I just can't see him walking out with the title this soon. Mark Henry's promo was good, following up the feud with Theodore Long. Haha, I like that the Big Show has been brought back to fight Mark Henry, but it's too short notice in my mind to have the match between Show and Mark at Elimination Chamber this Sunday. Would've been better to have happened last week with some hype to support it. Ted Dibiase beating Trent Barreta was a decent match, I like how it was initially face/face with Dibiase going heel to support the team formation with Michael McGillicutty. Good work. Daniel Bryan got an easy win against Heath Slater, I also liked the segment that produced the match. Eve and Kelly Kelly on the pre-show sounds neat. And lastly, good worthy main event for the WWE Intercontinental Championship; it ended Ambrose's undefeated streak, but kept him strong with the disqualification finish. Another chaotic finish to SmackDown designed to promote the other main event Chamber angle going into Sunday. A decent episode of SmackDown, I like what you've done with the blue place.
WWE Elimination Chamber: Sunday 19th February 2012...Solid action to kick things off, with the Money in the Bank briefcase on the line between the Miz and Daniel Bryan. I couldn't see Miz regaining a briefcase, so it was best for Bryan to regain it to capitalize. I wonder how the World Heavyweight Championship picture for WrestleMania XXVIII will end up. Hah, I wondered where Wade Barrett disappeared to. Good promo, we now have our WWE Championship and World Heavyweight Championship matches for Mania half-complete. I would have maybe held it later in the show or rather tomorrow night on RAW, though. Wow, Christian took out Zack Ryder, poor guy. Sounded like a brutal match, although in an odd position on the card; I'd have had this open the show, really. It sort of overshadowed the hell out of that opener. A great match, and as expected it came down to CM Punk and Evan Bourne. At this point in the year, it was obvious Punk would win though. Punk and Barrett for the gold at WrestleMania, sounds a little odd to me personally, but we'll see how that gets built up. Alberto Del Rio and Sin Cara's feud has been an interesting one. I was surprised to see Cara pick up the win though, which is always a good thing. I dislike Del Rio. Del Rio then attacking Sin Cara was nice, but interesting for Rey Mysterio to make the save. I guess we have Del Rio and Mysterio lined up for WrestleMania; where does Cara fit into any of this I wonder. Trish Stratus as an inductee into the 2012 Hall of Fame class is suiting, and I do like Beth Phoenix getting in her face. It's an alternative from the usual scenario where Kharma gets to fight Beth. Heath Slater in the People Power party sure was fun. Big Show simply killing Mark Henry off was an interesting decision; I guess Mark's going to be taking some time off. It also gives Show all the momentum that he lost back, having lost due to stoppage against Henry before. Oh no, "Tonight is the Night" as a theme for WrestleMania? Hopefully it's not the main theme, it just simply doesn't suit it in my mind. I am surprised to not see John Cena and Triple H main event the pay-per-view, it seems a lot more fitting in my mind. Great match, but I liked Cena winning as it gives him a ton of momentum going into WrestleMania XXVIII, although the distraction from the Undertaker's mind games sort of damaged it. And lastly, the Elimination Chamber match for the World Heavyweight Championship; I'm surprised this main evented. A great main event choice, given the star power in this match. Recently I've been thinking that SmackDown definitely has more star power than RAW, which is something interesting to note in my mind. Kane being the first eliminated was odd, but I liked how it came down to five men, and one of them would end up becoming the champion. Chris Jericho with the win is great, loved that it came down to him and his rival, Randy Orton, too. Overall, a solid show with an odd booking order, but nonetheless it helped promote a lot of matches for WrestleMania XXVIII. Very enjoyable. Looking forward to the Road to WrestleMania from this step onwards.

Friday Night SmackDown! | February 24th, 2012 | Rockford, ILWWE Superstars 2/23 Taping Results Kaitlyn and Alicia Fox def. Maxine and Tamina Ezekiel Jackson def. Johnny Curtis
- After a video package highlighting the Elimination Chamber match for the World Heavyweight Championship, Chris Jericho, the man who walked out of it victorious, made his way down to the ring. Jericho raised the World Heavyweight Title high in the air as the audience showered him with boos. Y2J grabbed a microphone once he was in the ring, staring at the WrestleMania XXVIII sign. Just like the last time he was on his way to the grandest stage of them all, he shouted "I'm going to WrestleMania!" The audience continued to boo him as Jericho said that he told them so. He told the entire world that he would be the one to walk out of the Elimination Chamber match as the World Heavyweight Champion. And guarantees are just something else that he's the best in the world at. And just as he guaranteed victory in the Elimination Chamber, he is guaranteeing victory at WrestleMania against Daniel Bryan. Soon, Jericho was interrupted by the arrival of Randy Orton. Orton, who Jericho last eliminated, said that he has to give it to him. He did just as he said he would and he won the Elimination Chamber match. But he believes that Jericho may not have realized something. "I have one win against you, you have one over me. What do you say? One more time, me and you, in this ring tonight and we'll see who is going to WrestleMania?" The audience popped at the suggestion of a World Heavyweight Championship match as Jericho told them to shut up. He said that there won't be anymore title defenses until WrestleMania, and quite frankly, Orton doesn't deserve a title shot. Nobody in the back does. As soon as Jericho said, the pyro of the Big Red Monster blasted as Kane marched down to the ring. The former World Heavyweight Champion said that this past Sunday, he had to sit back and watch five other men compete for his World Heavyweight Title. He's not going to settle for anything less than the main event of WrestleMania, which is why he is demanding a title shot tonight. Jericho told Kane and Orton that they're both out of their minds. Nobody is getting a title shot tonight, and his voice is the only one that matters because he is the World Heavyweight Champion and he is on his way to headlining yet another WrestleMania. As Jericho was leaving the ring, SmackDown General Manager Teddy Long made his way out to the stage. He said that Jericho is wrong their. The voice that matters is his, the General Manager's. And he feels that both Orton and Kane have solid cases as to why they should be receive a title shot. Therefore, we're going to see the Big Red Monster and the Viper go one on one right now. And the winner will meet Chris Jericho for the World Heavyweight Championship tonight! The audience erupted at the announcement as Jericho shouted "You can't do this!" at Teddy. A referee ran down to the ring as Orton and Kane came face to face.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- RANDY ORTON DEF. KANE TO EARN A WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH TONIGHT: A very solid bout to kick off what is sure to be a huge SmackDown coming off of Elimination Chamber. As Kane was going for the Chokeslam, Orton was able to counter it into the RKO to pick up the victory.
- The audience popped as Orton stood to his feet, raising his arms in victory. World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho was shown backstage fuming as he watched on, knowing he'll have to compete one more time against Orton tonight. The Viper motioned for the World Heavyweight Title, letting Jericho know that he will be the one to carry it into WrestleMania.
- Cutting backstage, Cody Rhodes was shown watching a TV monitor when Matt Striker approached him, asking for his thoughts on coming up short in the Elimination Chamber. Cody said that it's an absolute joke. The world was robbed of the greatest World Heavyweight Champion they would have ever seen. But tonight, he's going to make the most of another opportunity. And that is regaining his Intercontinental Championship from Sheamus. Then, the world will see why he is still the next World Heavyweight Champion.
- WWE Tag Team Champions Justin Gabriel and Tyson Kidd were shown making their way down to the ring. They defend the titles against Primo and Epico, next.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning to SmackDown, a photo montage of the Big Show and Mark Henry's match from Elimination Chamber was shown. Hardly even a match after Henry was deemed unable to continue after a series of right hands from the World's Largest Athlete. Tonight, Big Show returns to SmackDown.
- WWE TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS - JUSTIN GABRIEL AND TYSON KIDD DEF. PRIMO AND EPICO: Prior to the match, the official ordered Hunico to return to the backstage area, eliminating him as a factor. The match continued on smoothly as Kidd hit a Springboard Elbow Drop onto Primo to secure the victory.
- Gabriel and Kidd were handed back their WWE Tag Team Championships as they raised them high in the air. Before they could celebrate their victory, they were ambushed from behind by Ted DiBiase and Michael McGillicutty. The two third generation stars stomped away on the champions before McGillicutty hit Kidd with a Swinging Neckbreaker, and DiBiase planted Gabriel with Dream Street. They scooped up the WWE Tag Team Championships, raising them in the air as they stood tall over the champions.
- Backstage, Teddy Long was shown walking around when he noticed several workers and security rushing. He followed them, eventually arriving at the locker room of Sheamus. Kane was shown shouting at the Intercontinental Champion, telling him that it was all his fault. The two nearly got into a brawl as they were quickly pulled apart. Teddy ordered for Kane to be escorted out of the arena as he tried to keep Sheamus from retaliating. Teddy asked him what had happened. Sheamus said that he was just getting ready for his match, and Kane barged into the room yelling and shouting at him that he's the reason he won't be going to WrestleMania. Sheamus said that if Kane wants to place the blame for his loss on him, that's fine. He'll deal with him the next time he sees him. He grabbed his Intercontinental Title as he made his way down to the ring.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- A promo was shown for next Monday's edition of RAW. In what is sure to be a huge show, three of the biggest names in WWE history are all set to appear. The Undertaker will address his Hell in a Cell match with Triple H at WrestleMania, Trish Stratus will answer Beth Phoenix's challenge, and the Rock will confront John Cena in the middle of the ring. RAW, live next Monday on USA.
- INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP - SHEAMUS DEF. CODY RHODES: A very nice way to wrap up the first hour of this championship edition of SmackDown. Sheamus was able to keep the altercation with Kane off of his mind as he looked to be fully focused on the task at hand. After Cody missed Beautiful Disaster, Sheamus caught him with a Brogue Kick to pick up the victory.
- The audience stood to their feet as Sheamus was handed the Intercontinental Championship, raising it high in the air. He then grabbed a microphone. "Kane, you want to place the blame for your losses on me, fella? That's fine, but understand that I won't let you get away with it. The next time I see you, you bet I'll be kicking your big red arse." The Intercontinental Champion dropped the microphone as he headed up the entrance ramp, sending a clear message to Kane.
- A graphic was shown for tonight's main event. Chris Jericho defends the World Heavyweight Championship against Randy Orton, where the winner will go on to defend against Daniel Bryan at WrestleMania XXVIII. It happens tonight on SmackDown.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- Returning to SmackDown, Daniel Bryan was shown walking towards his locker room when Matt Striker approached him, asking if he has a preference when it comes to his WrestleMania opponent. Bryan said that both Jericho and Orton are great competitors, and he'll be honored to face either of them at WrestleMania. But in the end, it doesn't matter that much. He knows he has what it takes to beat either of them at WrestleMania and become World Heavyweight Champion.
- Cutting to the arena, the theme of the Big Show hit as he made his way out to the ring. He stood in the ring here on SmackDown for the first time three months as he was handed a microphone. The "welcome back" chants were loud and clear as Show thanked the audience. He said that it's safe to say that 2011 wasn't exactly his best year. He was put on the shelf for a few months, failed to win the World Heavyweight Championship on three separate occasions, and was even retired. And it was all thanks to one man, Mark Henry. So when he got a call from Teddy Long last week asking if he would be interested in returning to the WWE for a match with Henry, he jumped at the opportunity. But it wasn't just a one night thing. He's back on SmackDown permanently. And he assures Henry that Elimination Chamber was just a taste of what is to come his way every time he shows his face around SmackDown. If Henry wants another shot at him, then he encourages it. If not, then that's fine. He may me back a bit too late in the game to throw his name in there for a main event match at WrestleMania, but that won't stop him. He is making it known right now that soon, he will become the World Heavyweight Champion. Show thanked the audience one more time before heading back up the entrance ramp.
- Backstage, World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho was shown in his locker room getting ready for his title defense against Randy Orton later on tonight.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- A video advertisement was shown for the encore presentation of Elimination Chamber, available throughout the rest of the weekend on pay-per-view.
- Returning to SmackDown, the Money In The Bank briefcase was shown hanging high above the ring. This past Monday on RAW, Dolph Ziggler qualified for the first of eight spots in the match. We're about to find out who will join him in the Ladder Match at WrestleMania XXVIII.
- DREW MCINTYRE DEF. SIN CARA TO QUALIFY FOR MONEY IN THE BANK: A solid bout here between one of SmackDown's more aggressive stars and its exciting high flyer. As Sin Cara looked to be in control, a loud horn could be heard blaring as Alberto Del Rio drove into the arena. This distracted Cara long enough to allow McIntyre to plant him with the Future Shock DDT to grab the victory.
- McIntyre rolled out of the ring as he raised his arms in victory. A graphic was shown announcing him as the second superstar to qualify for the Money In The Bank Ladder Match. As he made his way up the ramp, Del Rio headed for the ring. He locked Sin Cara in the Cross Armbreaker, trying to punish the man who defeated him at Elimination Chamber. Suddenly, Rey Mysterio ran down to make the save. Mysterio, who made his return this past Sunday, kicked Del Rio into position for the 619, successfully hitting it. For the second time this week, the returning Mysterio gets the better of the Mexican Aristocrat. He helped Sin Cara to his feet as the two watched Del Rio back up the entrance ramp.
- Backstage, Randy Orton was shown making his way down to the ring. The Viper meets Chris Jericho for the World Heavyweight Championship, next.
- COMMERCIAL BREAK
- A promo was shown for WrestleMania XXVIII, live Sunday April 1st, only on pay-per-view.
- WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP - CHRIS JERICHO DEF. RANDY ORTON: A great, huge match to close out this edition of SmackDown. With a main event match at WrestleMania on the line, both men took each other to the limit. After Jericho placed his foot on the rope following an RKO, Orton backed into a corner as he was looking to put Jericho out of commission once again. As he was attempting the Punt Kick, Jericho caught him with a Codebreaker, covering him to seal the victory.
- The audience booed heavily at the result as Jericho rolled out of the ring. He was handed the World Heavyweight Championship as he raised it high in the air, finally securing his spot in the World Title match at WrestleMania. Jericho headed up to the stage, where he was met by Daniel Bryan. The two WrestleMania opponents met face to face as Jericho raised the gold in the air, letting Mr. Money In The Bank know what it's all about come April 1st. Jericho then made his way to the back as Bryan stared at the WrestleMania sign for a bit before doing the same.
- Cutting back to the ring, Randy Orton was shown finally moving as the audience gave him a standing ovation for his effort here tonight. Suddenly, Dean Ambrose entered the ring through the audience. He charged towards Orton, hitting him with a vicious Knee Trembler. Ambrose stood over Orton, staring down at him with a psychotic look in his eyes.

WWE RAW Supershow: Monday 20th February 2012...Curt Hawkins and Tyler Reks picking up the win on Superstars, good show! Good win against Derrick Bateman and Percy Watson, the NXT regulars. Jack Swagger beating Santino Marella was a fair match as well. Onto the show, good call for John Cena to kick off the show, Cena well on his way to face The Rock on April 1st at WrestleMania XXVIII. Good decision to open the show, it's a rare occasion where no interruption is necessary. I like that Zack Ryder got his retribution on Christian for stealing his spotlight and taking his place in the Elimination Chamber match last night. Do I spell a WWE United States Championship match at the ready for WrestleMania? The Truth Cam? Original idea and something to do with the Awesome Truth. Wonder where this is going. Huh, Christian and Ryder made official for April 1st. I'd have personally left it a few weeks to announce, but nevermind. Brodus Clay beating John Morrison was fine, liked Morrison confidently walking out and getting himself counted out early on. Everyone goes after Brodus' knee, poor guy. Dolph Ziggler was always going to win the Money in the Bank qualifying match. I do wish Alex Riley had more to do, though. Ziggler is instantly my pick to win the Money in the Bank ladder match anyway. Ah, the Miz and R-Truth hunting down Mick Foley eh? I'm liking where this is headed. Triple H's promo was great, but after Cena's lone promo earlier on tonight, this needed the Undertaker. It came off as just another promo, much like Cena's earlier tonight. Glad to see Hell in a Cell is sticking around for Triple H facing the Undertaker on April 1st. WrestleMania's already shaping up to be absolutely massive. Watch it, we don't want too much overkill...it IS on the lines of being the WrestleMania X-Seven of this era. Evan Bourne with a win against Rob Van Dam was something, although currently I can't get behind Bourne as a franchise player on RAW on a weekly basis, though I appreciate the attempt. Tensai getting involved was a good call. Haha, wow I didn't see that coming. David Otunga being the lawyer for Kofi Kingston in his lawsuit against John Laurinaitis. I love it. I especially loved the backstory to it. Hah, nice little warning from R-Truth, and I liked his insanity coming into play. No kids! Let's see how this angle goes. Laurinaitis defenseless? Oh no! Who can stop Otunga? Maybe Irwin R. Schyster... Beth Phoenix beating Tamina was fine, nothing too much to it, and I liked Beth's promo after the match, although it was a lot like John Cena and Triple H's promos, just on a smaller scale. Trish Stratus was at Elimination Chamber last night, surely she could've made a brief appearance to accept the challenge. Heath Slater's segments with the People Power party have so far been entertaining as hell, I wonder where these are going. I also loved Heath Slater managing his former NXT Pro, Christian to battle CM Punk. Punk only rolling Christian up for the win hurt Punk a bit; which isn't exactly something he needs just six weeks away from WrestleMania. Punk overpowering Wade Barrett and Slater was nice, although Slater in this position on a RAW is hilarious to see. Wow, dramatic main event segment, the Miz and R-Truth taking down Mick Foley's wife to send a message! I like it. Overall, a packed show, but it was all focused around one-half of the WrestleMania scenarios. Three of them, by my count. But nonetheless, extremely entertaining read with a lot going on, as we continue the Road to WrestleMania.
WWE Friday Night SmackDown: Friday 24th February 2012...Kaitlyn and Alicia Fox beating Maxine and Tamina was nothing really. I hope you actually do something with Maxine, she was hot. Ezekiel Jackson beating Johnny Curtis, meh. I hope Curtis gets treated well in the near future. He's arguably the best guy to walk out of NXT Season 4/Redemption. Chris Jericho opening up the show was good, and I'm liking that we now have Jericho taking on Daniel Bryan confirmed for WrestleMania XXVIII. It won't main event, it will be very hard to steal the show, but damn it's going to be great. Randy Orton interrupting was cool, as was Kane. I think you could have spread this out more, the number one contender's match to open with Orton facing Kane; and then the fatigued winner going on to face/lose to Chris Jericho later tonight. It would've been much better if the winner fought Jericho for the World Heavyweight Championship next Friday night: you get more viewership and hype for next week then. Orton winning was great, although I feel sympathetic for Kane being stripped of his rematch clause. I wonder what Kane will even do at WrestleMania. Tyson Kidd and Justin Gabriel beating Primo and Epico was a good match, and as expected, they were then jumped by Ted Dibiase and Michael McGillicutty. I'm liking the tag team division, as I mentioned before. I'm sorry but I laughed at Trish Stratus being one of the "biggest names in WWE history" remark. I'm hoping RAW this week is improved promo-wise compared to this past week's episode. Wow, Kane with a heel turn perhaps? Interested. Two title matches tonight? A tiny bit overkill, but nevermind. Sheamus retaining the WWE Intercontinental Championship against Cody Rhodes was fine, no real problem there. Sheamus and Kane feuding sounds good, another match near enough confirmed for WrestleMania. So far we're looking at nine matches lined up for WrestleMania, a four-hour time slot to accompany them. I'm wondering what else will happen, and you haven't even utilized ALL of your main stars ready for WrestleMania yet. That's the main problem with having so much star power. Big Show's promo was nice, but didn't do anything for me. It didn't have anything to it, other than thanks. Please don't let Show get into this feud with Chris Jericho and Daniel Bryan, I beg of you. Drew McIntyre getting into Money in the Bank over Sin Cara? What!? I see Cara entering at a later date, in any event. I'm not a fan of how Cara's being treat as bait for Rey Mysterio to keep attacking Alberto Del Rio. And lastly, as expected, Chris Jericho beating Randy Orton was a great main event with Jericho getting a good World Heavyweight Championship defense in at the same time. Dean Ambrose! Almost forgot about him. So there's another feud set up for WrestleMania, I'm liking it. So much going on! Another solid show, enjoyed it more than RAW this week.
