- I am probably most excited about this Queen of the Ring tournament and why? It has The Queen...who is Genetically Superior that being The Dirtiest Woman in the Game that being Charlotte Flair as one of the participants in this tournament. The business is in her blood growing up in this business as Ric Flair's daughter she pretty much knows the tools of the trade and not to mention you have other women in there like Asuka, Nia Jax, Bianca Belair, Bayley, just to name a few. I bet that even if these women don't win the tournament these women will end up on Smackdown Live and on RAW anyway on the main roster right away anyway. - A Fatal 4 Way to determine who faces Bobby Roode for the NXT Championship at NXT TakeOver MSG the night before SummerSlam 2014 is actually awesome...and the participants in the match being Paul Heyman's client Lars Sullivan, Kenny Omega, Kota Ibushi and The Velveteen Dream...as for who wins the Fatal 4 Way I have a feeling it will be The Cleaner Kenny Omega who wins Bayley is not in the tournament.

July 24th, 2014 | Episode 015 | "Her House" THE BEGINNING OF THE PAIGE ERA: In her first appearance as the WWE Champion, Paige walked out onto the stage in front of the city where she began her journey to this moment two and a half years ago in NXT. Mauro Ranallo, who will be joining SmackDown Live's commentary team to make it a three-man booth going forward, stated that watching Paige become WWE Champion was one of his proudest moments as a fan, and he knows the WWE Universe feels the same. Paige stood in the ring with a microphone, unable to talk through the constant chants of "You deserve it," and later on, "This is your house." Paige said that even when she made the promise to the world after WrestleMania to become WWE Champion, she'd be lying if she said she was fully confident in herself. "But what really pushed and motivated me was all of you. Every single one of you had all of the reasons in the world to doubt me. No one should have ever believed that I could become WWE Champion... yet for whatever reason, you guys did so anyways." Paige thanked the WWE Universe for helping her reach this point, but now that she actually has the WWE Title, things are only going to get more dangerous for her from here on out. Just as Paige said that, TJ Perkins made his way down to the ring. TJP, who had Taynara Conti accompanying him, told Paige that she was absolutely right when she said that things are about to become even more dangerous than they already were. TJP even asked Taynara to close his eyes for him since he couldn't stand the sight of Paige with the WWE Championship. "You've set off Catch Point in ways that I didn't even think were possible. CM Punk is going to bring the WWE Title back into our camp, and as soon as he does, you can do yourself a favor and forget all about trying to extract revenge because the second you act on those urges, I will make sure that you never wrestle again. Hell, I'll make sure you never even walk again. You call SmackDown Live your 'house'? Watch as Catch Point and I tear it down brick-by-brick and leave you for dead underneath the rubble." Paige stood there and listened to TJP's threats, holding back her aggression because what the WWE Universe didn't know was that after she and TJP brawled hours ago, Shane McMahon and Kurt Angle made it clear to the both of them that there would be repercussions if they engaged in anything physical again. Paige and TJP's stare down would soon be interrupted by the new Intercontinental Champion John Cena, who made his way down to the ring for his Bash rematch against the leader of Catch Point. Cena acknowledged Paige's WWE Championship, telling her he knows she'll carry it with the same respect and honor that he and many others before them have. After shaking hands with Cena, Paige left the ring to allow the Intercontinental Title match to begin.
1) JOHN CENA DEF. TJ PERKINS TO RETAIN THE INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP after two Attitude Adjustments. Before the finishing sequence, TJP had ordered Taynara Conti to hand him the Intercontinental Title. As she was doing so, she inadvertently tripped on the floor mat, allowing Cena to catch TJP off-guard and finish him off. Once Cena left the ring, Taynara repeatedly apologized to TJP. The former Intercontinental Champion rose to his feet and was able to calm down Taynara, but then gave her a backhanded strike across her face. TJP left the teary-eyed and red-faced Taynara alone in the ring, abandoning his Catch Point student.
A NEW ALLIANCE IS FORMED BETWEEN SAMI ZAYN AND CODY RHODES: In the office of Shane McMahon and Kurt Angle, the two brought in Sami Zayn and Cody Rhodes to inform them that tonight, they'll have an opportunity at revenge against Chad Gable and Jason Jordan. Angle then noted that while he and the entire WWE Universe enjoy watching Zayn and Rhodes compete against each other, they might enjoy seeing them team up just a bit more. And on top of that, the winners of their match against Catch Point will earn a SmackDown Tag Team Title opportunity against The Usos next week.
2) SAMOA JOE DEF. FANDANGO via the Ankle Lock, practically calling out SmackDown Live General Manager Kurt Angle by using his own submission maneuver.
BECKY LYNCH VOWS TO BRING STRAIGHT FIRE TO SUMMERSLAM: At this time, a pre-recorded sit-down interview that Renee Young conducted with SmackDown Women's Champion Becky Lynch aired. Becky, who made her return this past Sunday at The Bash, stated that after she was attacked by Allie last month, she had a lot of time to sit at home and recover, but all she ended up doing was thinking about the pain that she wants to inflict on Allie and whoever else in Catch Point she can. "I've said this before, but I trusted Allie. We all did, and then she went and stabbed us in the backs." At SummerSlam, the one-on-one match between the two will finally take place, and Becky swears that she's going to walk out of Madison Square Garden with two thing: The SmackDown Women's Championship, and Allie's arm.
3) CODY RHODES & SAMI ZAYN DEF. CHAD GABLE & JASON JORDAN via a Disaster Kick to Jordan that was followed up with a Helluva Kick. Suddenly allies now, Rhodes and Zayn have earned the right to challenge The Usos for the SmackDown Tag Team Championships next week in Houston, Texas.
THE ENGAGEMENT PARTY FROM HELL: After confirming earlier today that her wedding with Billie Kay will take place next week here on SmackDown Live, AJ Lee made her way down to the ring for what she called her 'Engagement Party.' AJ, who for the first time since moving to SmackDown Live received more boos than cheers from the audience, said that it's been a very, very long time since she's been able to say that she's happy. "But given that next week, I am going to marry the love of my life... I can honestly say that things right now are almost perfect." AJ then said that the engagement party wouldn't be complete without the other half of WWE's true 'Iconic Duo.' That led to AJ bringing out Billie Kay, who was appearing on SmackDown Live for the first time in a month. With a blank stare and dead eyes on her face, Billie walked into the ring, standing still in the center while AJ smiled brightly at her. AJ told Billie that she does wish the road to their wedding involved much less bloodshed than it did, but that's what happens when a 'succubus' like Peyton Royce tries to break apart true love. "That night that you and I spent together... I could see it in your eyes. You chose me over Peyton. You made the decision to give my life meaning once again, and for that, I am eternally thankful for your love." Still, Billie didn't say a single word or make any kind of movement. AJ tried turning Billie's attention to the table in the ring that was decorated with presents, asking her fiancé which one they should open first. After receiving no answer from Billie, AJ went ahead and picked out a small box that was gift wrapped. She opened the present, bringing out a brand new engagement ring for Billie. "Since we never got to have this special moment, I thought it wouldn't hurt to go ahead and do it here." AJ then dropped to one knee, properly asking Billie for her hand in marriage. "Billie Kay, will you marry me?"
Finally, Billie spoke into the microphone to give her response.
"... You raped me."
Silence. That's all that filled the atmosphere in the Amway Center. Billie had kept her secret to herself ever since February, but believing that her life was ruined beyond repair, she no longer saw a reason to keep the last thread of emotional stability that she had left intact. She went ahead with the biggest risk of her life by opening up about AJ's attack on live television in front of an audience of millions.
AJ slowly rose to her feet, a confused expression on her face. "... That wasn't a yes or a no, silly!" she said with a smile on her face, trying to use a cheerful demeanor to mask her true feelings. "... You raped me," Billie said again. AJ slowly walked over to the table while Billie repeated the confession over and over again. AJ would then unwrap one of the presents, bringing out the tire iron that she had used to beat Peyton with at The Bash.
"You raped me. You raped me. You raped me. You raped me. You ra-"
AJ swung the tire iron at the back of Billie's head, instantly knocking her out.
"Oh, baby... You shouldn't go around telling lies like that."
That's the narrative that AJ was going to spin. She was going to claim that Billie was only lying to try to paint AJ as an even bigger monster than the WWE Universe already thinks she is. Or that Billie was simply trying to gain notoriety and attention by accusing one of this generation's biggest stars of sexual assault.
Either way, Billie now had to leave it all in the hands of WWE and the WWE Universe. She nor anyone else could prove what AJ did to her, which is a major reason why she never came forward before about it.
"You've had a long month and you've spent it by yourself, so I understand if you're delirious," AJ said to the woman who she just hit over the skull with a tire iron. 'The Black Widow' of all people was accusing someone else of insanity because she was just accused of a criminal offense that would tarnish her entire legacy. She didn't want to attack Billie, but in that moment, she proved to herself that while she'll go through any lengths to protect Billie, she'll go through even more to protect herself.
AJ looked around the arena for any sign of Peyton Royce, but remembered that she was still injured - physically and probably mentally - after their 'Till Death Do Us Part match at The Bash. She wouldn't be coming to Billie's rescue any time soon, relieving AJ of any stress. She then exited the ring and pulled Billie's long legs out from underneath the bottom rope, trying to help her to the backstage area.
The truth is finally out there, but if AJ has her way next week during her and Billie's wedding, then it won't mean anything.
4) JOHNNY GARGANO DEF. TYLER BREEZE, CEDRIC ALEXANDER AND RODERICK STRONG via a DDT over the top rope onto Tyler Breeze to become the number one contender for the WWE Cruiserweight Championship. The reigning champion Andrade 'Cien' Almas, along with Zelina Vega, watched from the commentary booth as 'Johnny Wrestling' has earned one more chance at the title that has been eluding him ever since the finals of the Cruiserweight Classic.
5) JEFF HARDY & DEAN AMBROSE DEF. PMA after a Swanton Bomb to Drake Younger. After the closing bell, Hardy and Ambrose helped Younger and Solomon Crowe to their feet, extending out their hands. Younger accepted the gesture, but Crowe was a different story. "... Who are you?" Crowe asked Ambrose with a look of disgust on his face before leaving the squared circle.
SAMOA JOE TRIES PROVOKING KURT ANGLE: With the door to their office locked, Shane McMahon and Kurt Angle had to endure Samoa Joe's thunderous knocking and shouting. Both men wanted to move past their issues with Joe, but it was clear that 'The Samoan Submission Machine' was not yet finished antagonizing them. "I know you want to tear this door down and prove that you're still the best wrestler in the world, Kurt! So why don't you do it, then?!? Huh?!? Why are you so scared of me?!?" Joe shouted, Angle sitting down while holding back all of his aggression. "What's the matter, Kurt?!? Did you lose your balls the same time you lost custody of your children?!?" Joe's comment finally set off Angle, who tried running towards the door. Shane was able to stop Angle, telling him he can't give in and let Joe have what he wants. "You're above all of that. Let Joe talk. It doesn't mean anything," said the Commissioner to the General Manager.
6) ELIAS DEF. MOJO RAWLEY via the Drift Away. When Bo Rotundo tried checking on his Bo-Jo partner after the match, Elias laid him out with a guitar strike to his back.
THE INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP OPEN CHALLENGE BEGINS NEXT WEEK: Backstage, Renee Young was able to get a quick interview with John Cena, who stated that he didn't become Intercontinental Champion just so he could complete the Grand Slam. "I want to put the Intercontinental Title on the platform that it deserves. Countless times over the years, it's felt like this championship was losing everything that made it special in the first place. Not anymore. From now on, the Intercontinental Championship will be treated the respect that it deserves, but you know what they say. A title doesn't make the superstar... the superstar makes the title. So this title will only be as prestigious as I make it. That's why starting next week, I will be issuing open challenges for the Intercontinental Championship. All you need to do is show up to the ring when I call for you. Make that ring your proving ground and show me why you deserve to be the one who takes the Intercontinental Championship away from John Cena."
7) PAIGE DEF. CM PUNK TO RETAIN THE WWE CHAMPIONSHIP via an inside cradle roll-up. In her first defense of the WWE Championship, Paige was able to once again best the man she dethroned at The Bash. Paige was handed back the title as Punk rolled out of the ring, irate as he couldn't believe that he failed in his one and only attempt at regaining the gold. TJ Perkins would then come running down to ringside, Paige getting ready to strike him with the WWE Title if he even so much as stepped into the ring. Both TJP and Punk stood their ground on the outside, neither sure how to get to Paige when she was the one with the upper-hand. Suddenly, AJ Lee ran into the ring through the audience, holding the tire iron in her hands. AJ turned Paige around, leveling her forehead with the tire iron! Paige fell to the canvas as AJ glanced over at Punk and TJP, wondering if Catch Point would make any attempt to attack her. Instead, the two slowly backed away from her, seemingly allowing AJ the ring since they didn't see her as a threat. The enemy of the enemy is my friend, as the saying goes. A gash opened up on Paige's head, AJ following up by choking her with the tire iron. The WWE Universe watched in shock and horror as they didn't understand why AJ was assaulting Paige, but they both knew the story. With Peyton Royce out of commission for the time being, Paige was the only person with a motive to try to stop AJ and Billie Kay's wedding next week. 'The Black Widow' was trying to eliminate her as a factor, and along with that, AJ's jealousy over Paige's success in her quest to become WWE Champion finally reached a boiling point.

- Paige was lucky to escape that match against Punk when it came to retaining the WWE Championship. You heard what I said she was lucky to even still be champion because she rolls Punk up for an inside cradle but I bet Punk was probably dominating the match anyway but then what no one would have expected happened. AJ Lee shows up post-match and attacks Paige like what the hell is this about? It actually kind of makes sense in a twisted, sick, deplorable kind of way in the sense that Paige wanted to stop AJ and Billie Kay's wedding and AJ took offense to that. I don't think it is jealousy on AJ's part but if anything it is just some kind of sick, twisted feelings on AJ's part when it comes to this sick, twisted kind of love that AJ has for Billie Kay more like obsession. I mean this is really what the WWE has come to?
- John Cena Open Challenge for the WWE Intercontinental Championship is the way to go and why? It actually brings prestige back to the IC Title in the sense that it makes it relevant again much more relevant than it has been since the 90s. So it begs the question of which superstars will challenge Cena for that title? Mystery opponents every week for Cena...I love it because it just adds to the suspense of it all. It could be a returning superstar who makes their return to the company or it could be anyone on the Smackdown Live roster or hell it could be anyone from NXT even.
- Here is hoping Elias becomes a bigger deal here on Smackdown Live and after beating Rawley but also laying Bo Dallas with a guitar shot...Elias needs bigger and better competition here on this show
- I can see it being Joe vs Angle for SummerSlam - So what are Ambrose and Jeff Hardy like a tag team now? I mean they teamed together at The Bash and beat American Alpha and now they beat Crowe and Younger too...like this is one of the weirdest tag team combos that I have ever seen
- Johnny Wrestling Johnny Gargano wins a Fatal 4 Way #1 Contender's Match beating Roderick Strong, Cedric Alexander and Tyler Breeze to get a shot at the WWE Cruiserweight Champion Andrade Cien Almas...no doubt that match will probably be signed for SummerSlam
- Now we just have rape...when I thought things couldn't get any worse it does...AJ Lee raping Billie Kay God just when I think things can't get any sicker or any more disgusting it just really turns my stomach but I can see it leading to Peyton Royce stopping the wedding anyway
- Here is hoping "The Man" as she likes to call herself that being Becky Lynch the Smackdown Live Women's Champion and Allie put on a great match at SummerSlam especially with that title on the line
- Sami Zayn and Cody Rhodes as a tag team...I can't see it lasting and why? I see it turning into one of them turning heel on the other and as for who turns heel? I see it being Cody Rhodes and why? Cody he has been stale as a babyface and he needs another heel run. I mean as a babyface he has literally done all he can do so why not turn Cody again? I mean as a heel he can actually become one of the stars of this diary again...a star that you can get behind even when he was a heel he was damn entertaining and honestly if you have to turn one of them either Zayn or Rhodes...Rhodes would be more believable as a heel than as a babyface and it is bound to happen too because I can't see him and Zayn beating The Usos for those titles because The Usos have come into their own as a tag team
- Cena retaining his IC Title beating TJP in a Bash rematch to start off Smackdown Live...I mean there was no way Cena was gonna drop that title especially after just winning it but with TJP losing the IC Title I can see him turning his sights on the WWE Championship now

Sunday, July 27th, 2014 Over in the Electric Ballroom for PROGRESS Wrestling, Jim Smallman started off the show with his routine that had become standard for all Chapter events, but this time, there was a major announcement that needed to be made. One that Smallman said cements just how far the UK scene in wrestling has come over the last few years.
Smallman then brought out to the ring NXT Commissioner, William Regal.
As expected, the PROGRESS fans absolutely lost it at the sight of the legendary Regal, who was practically British royalty. Regal walked down the steps of the aisle, clutching a black bag to his side. The audience members caught a glimpse of the bag and the shape that it made, immediately buzzing over what the announcement could be.
Regal: "What PROGRESS Wrestling and all of you have achieved since this promotion's inception is nothing short of incredible. Every single person involved should be very proud because it is companies like PROGRESS that have allowed the UK scene to make its way over to WWE and NXT, effectively changing the industry forever. So, to commemorate the UK's impact, the powers that be have decided to do something special. I am beyond honored to introduce to you all... the WWE United Kingdom Championship."
Regal then brought the United Kingdom Title out of the black bag, showcasing it to the fans who all stood to their feet and applauded before breaking it into a "Thank you, Regal" chant. Regal insisted that he not be thanked on this occasion because he didn't do anything. It was PROGRESS and all of its fans who deserve every bit of credit for this announcement.
Regal: "So... now that it's out there, what we do with this? How do we put it around somebody's waist?"
Regal handed the spotlight over to Smallman, who said that PROGRESS and NXT finalized earlier in the day exactly how the inaugural champion will be decided.
Smallman: "If you lot have kept up with current events, then you would know that PROGRESS Wrestling has been invited to a little show on September 28th called Unison. So, in whatever f***ing building Dario Cueto wants to pack the wrestling world into, there will be a Six Way Ladder Match to crown the first-ever WWE United Kingdom Champion!"
And with that, the first match for Unison has been made official. Six of the British scene's absolute best will be let loose in a Ladder Match to become the inaugural WWE United Kingdom Champion.
Later on during the main event for the PROGRESS Championship between Pete Dunne, Mark Haskins, Will Ospreay and Marty Scurll, they were caught off guard by a surprise attack from SAnitY. Dunne, Haskins, Ospreay and Scurll tried banding together to fend off SAnitY, but the force comprised of Eric Young, Tommaso Ciampa, Jimmy Havoc, Darby Allin and Nikki Cross was far too much for any of them to overcome
Aware that something needed to be done, Regal and Smallman met backstage after SAnitY's ambush and reached a compromise. A way for PROGRESS to get back at them...
What started at Full Sail University and made its way to the Electric Ballroom will be settled in Madison Square Garden.

I never knew PROGRESS was basically like your NXT: UK but it basically is and thinking about it I guess in some ways it does make sense

July 28th, 2014 | Episode 016 | "I Am Enough" DARIO CUETO GRANTS HIS BROTHER A TITLE OPPORTUNITY AT UNISON: At the start of Monday Night RAW, General Manager Dario Cueto addressed the announcement on social media of Unison's location as his "Temple." Dario stated that he's had the Temple under construction for this one event, and the WWE Universe will witness history be made from Los Angeles on September 28th. Not only will the world watch dream matches that were thought to be inconceivable, but his baby brother Matanza Cueto will receive a Universal Championship match. As Dario was about to leave the ring, Aleister Black's entrance music sounded. 'The Dutch Destroyer' told Dario that he can hand his brother all the opportunities he wants, but it won't matter. "The only way Matanza will challenge for the Universal Title at Unison is if I allow him to walk out of SummerSlam under his own power." Aleister then teased Black Mass, thrusting his kick towards the air in front of Dario's face. Dario flinched and fell onto the canvas, Aleister sitting down across from him afterwards.
1) XAVIER WOODS DEF. RANDY ORTON via roll-up. After Woods failed to connect with an Elbow Drop, Orton positioned him for a Punt Kick. Woods evaded the kick and rolled Orton up for the biggest singles win of his career thus far. Woods was placed onto the shoulders of Kofi Kingston and Big E on the stage while Orton, Bray Wyatt, Pentagon and Maxine had to look on at the celebration spitefully.
HEATH SLATER CELEBRATES HIS NEW MERCHANDISE: Hardcore Champion Heath Slater made his way over to the merchandise booth in the Toyota Center, showing off his brand new "I Got Kids" t-shirt to the audience that surrounded him. Slater asked the WWE Universe for their support in buying the shirt because, as it says, he has mouths to feed back at home in his new double-wide. Suddenly, Drake Maverick jumped out from behind the merchandise booth, trying to pin Slater and take the Hardcore Title. Quickly, Slater was able to Back Body Drop Maverick through a different merchandise table, an official finally showing up to make the count.
2) DANIEL BRYAN DEF. KYLE O'REILLY VIA DISQUALIFICATION after Bobby Fish shoved Bryan off the top rope. Fish repeatedly kicked Bryan at ringside before rolling him into the ring, allowing O'Reilly to put him to sleep with a Guillotine Choke. O'Reilly and Fish stood tall over Bryan in the debut for the former NXT Champion.
ALEXA BLISS DEMANDS ANSWERS FROM BUDDY MURPHY: At this time, RAW Women's Champion Alexa Bliss headed down to the ring to call out her ex-fiance Buddy Murphy, who made his RAW debut last week by attacking her. Murphy walked out to the stage, telling Alexa that it shouldn't be a surprise to her why she was laid out one week ago. Murphy stated - for those in the WWE Universe who may not have known - that he and Alexa had been in a relationship ever since she first reported to NXT. What the fans also might be unaware of is that when he was ready to devote the rest of his life to her, she threw him to the side like the last two years meant nothing. "You touched on this subject a little on Lilian Garcia's podcast, but now, let me tell my side of the story. There we were in the Performance Center right after WrestleMania. Nobody was more proud of you than I was. I got to watch the woman who I thought I was going to spend the rest of my life with walk into the biggest WrestleMania of all-time as the WWE Women's Champion. And after only six months on the main roster." Murphy went on to say that he took Alexa into one of the rings at the Performance Center, and in front of all of their peers, he proposed to her. "And what did you do? You ran away. You walked out of the PC and I didn't see you again until last week when I finally had the chance to let you know how I felt about what you did to me. These people deserve to know the truth, and the truth is that there is no bigger hypocrite in the WWE than Alexa Bliss. What does that little tattoo of yours say? 'I am enough'? How are you going to stand there and preach about being enough when you told me in that moment that I wasn't enough?!?" Understanding Murphy's frustrations, Alexa tried to apologize to him. "I know that I didn't go about ending our relationship the right way and that's because I was scared. I didn't know how to tell you that I'm not ready to get married or start a family because I still have so much left in my career that I want to accomplish while my body will still allow me to. I didn't handle this well at all, but that doesn't give you the right to put your hands on-" Just as Alexa was continuing her rant, Emma appeared through the audience and struck her with the Money in the Bank briefcase! Emma told the unconscious Alexa that she shouldn't worry about Murphy because the damage has already been done to him. "Neither of you can hurt each other more than you already have, but you and I? We still have a long way to go before one of us feels true pain." Emma finished by saying that she spoke to Dario Cueto earlier, and he made a match between them official for SummerSlam. This time, it'll be a Winner Takes All match. Briefcase vs. Title on August 17th in Madison Square Garden.
SMACKDOWN LIVE PREVIEW: The Iconic Wedding takes center stage as AJ Lee and Billie Kay will wed in front of the entire WWE Universe. 'The Black Widow' has taken out both Peyton Royce and the WWE Champion Paige on separate occasions leading up to the wedding, but can she guarantee that neither will turn into factors on what she intends being the happiest day of her life? Plus, John Cena holds an open challenge for the Intercontinental Championship, and The Usos put the SmackDown Tag Team Titles on the line against Sami Zayn and Cody Rhodes.
3) THE REVIVAL VS. BRAUN STROWMAN AND ROMAN REIGNS FOR THE RAW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS ENDS IN A DOUBLE COUNT-OUT when Reigns and Strowman chased Dawson and Wilder up to the stage to attack them. Mauro Ranallo stated on commentary that this whole match wasn't so much about Reigns and Strowman getting along, but rather the two were competing with one another to see who could inflict more punishment on The Revival. After Reigns Speared Dawson onto the steel ramp, Strowman took Wilder and threw him head-first through the window to Dario Cueto's office! Dario sat in his chair, holding his hands to his face in stress. Not because one of his champions might be injured, but because he had just gotten that window repaired.
CARMELLA AMBUSHES SASHA BANKS: Backstage, cameras rushed to a scene as Sasha Banks, who was preparing to be interview with Cathy Kelley, was suddenly attacked from behind by Carmella. 'The Princess of Staten Island' threw Sasha into a crate while James Ellsworth tried to get her to stop since they have a match with Mustafa Ali and Sofia Cortez tonight to worry about. As officials tended to Sasha, Carmella exited the picture with a Moonwalk.
4) KEVIN OWENS DEF. ADAM COLE via the Pop-Up Powerbomb. Adam Cole had ordered all members of The Undisputed ERA to stay in the back, which proved to be a mistake as United States Champion Seth Rollins joined the commentary team near the stage for the match. Cole allowed himself to become too fixated with Rollins' presence that it allowed Owens to pick up a much needed victory.
5) MUSTAFA ALI & SOFIA CORTEZ DEF. JAMES ELLSWORTH & CARMELLA After an 054 from Ali onto Ellsworth. While Carmella and Ellsworth continue to struggle working as a cohesive unit, Ali and Sofia have impressed the WWE Universe between their performances over the last two weeks, and Ali's declaration that he wants the two to move up in the ranks in the list of the RAW Tag Team Championship contenders may end up coming to fruition.
DARIO CUETO ANNOUNCES MORE PARTICIPANTS FOR AZTEC WARFARE: RAW General Manager Dario Cueto exited his office on the side of the stage to provide the WWE Universe with more details about the match that was announced last week on social media for SummerSlam, Aztec Warfare. 13 RAW superstars will compete in a No Disqualifications, No Count-Outs match. Two superstars will start the match, and every two minutes, a new combatant will join. Eliminations can only occur via pinfall or submission. "Not even the referee deeming someone unable to continue will save them. They're in the match until they're eliminated by another superstar." The last man remaining will be declared the Universal Champion. Four superstars have already been announced in the form of the defending champion Derrick Bateman, AJ Styles, The Miz and Finn Balor. Dario then confirmed five new superstars for Aztec Warfare. Daniel Bryan, Kevin Owens, Adam Cole, Kyle O'Reilly and the United States Champion Seth Rollins. The final four spots will be decided next week in a Six Man Tag match pitting The New Day against The Wyatt Tribe. The winning team will see all three members enter Aztec Warfare. The losing team must choose only one member to compete at SummerSlam.
6) THE MIZ DEF. UNIVERSAL CHAMPION DERRICK BATEMAN, AJ STYLES & FINN BALOR via Skull Crushing Finale to Bateman. After Balor missed Coup de Grace onto Styles, Bateman charged into him with a Stinger Splash, inadvertently leaping too far and crashing his face onto the top of the ring post. Miz capitalized by planting the dazed Bateman with a Skull Crushing Finale to secure the win. Not only did The Miz just score a pinfall victory over the Universal Champion, but because of this victory, 'The A-Lister' will enter Aztec Warfare last at the number 13 entry spot.

So is Unison like a WWE PPV special like Crown Jewel for example? If it is then I guess that makes sense
Of course the RAW GM Dario Cueto would show blatant favoritism towards his little brother Matanza Cueto yet again by giving Matanza yet another WWE Universal Championship match...hell Dario practically gift wrapped him the opportunity yet again for the millionth time. Matanza hasn't even done anything to even earn a title match but yet he is just given one right on the spot and Matanza what has he done lately to even warrant a shot? I mean whenever he has been given a WWE Universal Championship opportunity what has happened every single time? He has failed every time so what makes WWE Unison any different?
Aleister Black interrupting The Cuetos...makes sense given the fact that Matanza attacked Aleister so no doubt Aleister wants revenge. Aleister is undefeated and hasn't lost since coming to RAW from NXT. Aleister playing mind games with both The Cuetos by teasing Black Mass but not hitting it and sitting down cross legged in the ring...like that is the ultimate mind game. For that alone I can definitely see Aleister Black vs Matanza Cueto happening for WWE SummerSlam 2014 in this diary.
Xavier Woods beating Randy Orton has to be an upset...Orton is a former multi time WWE and World Champion hell Orton has done it all in this business and Woods managed to beat him...this has got to be one of the most shocking victories I have seen on RAW in quite some time. I can definitely see it now after this being The New Day vs Wyatt Tribe at SummerSlam again but in some kind of gimmick match.
Heath Slater is still WWE Hardcore Champion after beating Drake Maverick...24/7 rule still in effect and Heath still manages to pull off yet another victory so that being said who ends up facing Heath for that title next?
Daniel Bryan vs Kyle O'Reilly ending in a DQ win for Bryan because of Fish getting involved and both Fish & O'Reilly attacking Bryan; I figured this would happen and after this I think it is safe to say that at SummerSlam it ends up being Daniel Bryan vs Kyle O'Reilly yet again but this time on PPV on a Big 4 PPV stage like SummerSlam...then hey sign me up
I think it is safe to say after that attack Carmella's heel turn has been solidified as a full blown heel turn
Kevin Owens vs Adam Cole ends in a win for Kevin Owens...I think I am starting to like and get behind a babyface Kevin Owens...as a babyface he has come off as more of a badass kick-ass Prizefighter which is what he should be but also keeping the same attitude that he had as a heel and transitioning that into him as a face I think he can actually be an even better babyface going forward. Even with the WWE United States Champion Seth Rollins on commentary and Adam Cole being distracted by Rollins Owens took advantage and that is in part due to Rollins why Owens was able to even get the victory. If anything I can see it being Rollins vs Cole at SummerSlam in a rematch for the WWE United States Championship.

There was literally a segment on this RAW where Dario Cueto announced the participants of Aztec Warfare, and all of these people were confirmed to be involved with the match. None of these three matches you predicted can happen.

July 30th, 2014 | Episode 016 | "Love Wins"
KENNY OMEGA, KOTA IBUSHI, LARS SULLIVAN AND THE VELVETEEN DREAM EXCHANGE WORDS: With less than three weeks remaining until NXT TakeOver: MSG, the four men who will meet in the opening match for a shot against Bobby Roode and the NXT Championship met for their one and only verbal confrontation leading into the match. Kenny Omega stated that he knows the burning question on everyone’s mind is what will this match mean for his friendship with Kota Ibushi, and assured the NXT Universe that no matter who wins or loses, The Golden Lovers will remain as one. The Velveteen Dream called Omega and Ibushi’s friendship “cute,” but they shouldn’t have to worry about this match driving a wedge between them because, “At TakeOver: MSG, it’s going to be dream over for The Golden Lovers… and especially for you,” Dream said to Lars Sullivan. Paul Heyman attempted to speak for his client, but Sullivan took the microphone for himself, surprising everyone watching with his vocabulary. “I want all three of you to come to the realization that I have been undefeated for a reason here in NXT. I am unequivocally and undisputedly the most dominant force in the history of this brand. If you don’t take my words as sheer fact, then witness first-hand the massacre the unfolds in this ring at TakeOver: MSG on my way to encapsulating the NXT Championship.” Dream moved his sunglasses down, telling Sullivan that even if he can only comprehend some of what he said, he knows his day will come at TakeOver. “As for the two of you…” Dream said to Omega and Ibushi before they were ambushed by Dream’s 423-GET-FAME stablemates, The Lucha Dragons. Ibushi was isolated on the outside before Kalisto threw Omega towards Fenix for a Standing Spanish Fly.
1) RICOCHET DEF. JOHN MORRISON after a 630 Senton. Morrison attempted to leave mid-match, ignoring Uhaa Nations shouts at him. Morrison would then be stopped on the stage by CJ Parker, who cornered him back into the ring. Ricochet managed to finish off Morrison, picking up even more momentum for himself and Uhaa on their way to a Ladder Match against Jinder Mahal and Drew McIntyre for the NXT Tag Team Championships at TakeOver: MSG.
2) MATT RIDDLE DEF. MAGNUS VIA DISQUALIFICATION as a result of a low blow. Becoming frustrated with Riddle’s ability to outwrestle him in a technical battle, Magnus kicked ‘The King of Bros’ below the belt. Magnus left Riddle lying on the canvas, not wanting to waste any more of his time with him.
LARS SULLIVAN ISSUES A CHALLENGE TO 423-GET-FAME: Backstage, Paul Heyman and Lars Sullivan were approached by Charly Caruso, who asked the duo if they felt ‘outshined’ earlier in the ring by 423-GET-FAME. Heyman stated that it’s not possible for anyone in his clientele to be “outshined” by a joke like 423-GET-FAME. “Famous B is nothing more than a cheap imitation of Paul Heyman. I’ll be the first to admit that the clientele he’s assembled is impressive, but does talent really matter when there’s incompetent leadership?” Heyman said that while The Lucha Dragons have their hands full tonight with The Golden Lovers, next week, it’ll be all about Lars Sullivan. ‘The Leviathan’ is issuing a challenge to any member of 423-GET-FAME for a match… “And I sincerely hope that a certain ‘Dream’ stops hiding behind all of his pizzazz and decides to fight for once.”
NICOLE MATTHEWS AND EMBER MOON SIGN THEIR CONTRACT: NXT Women’s Champion Nicole Matthews and the number one contender, Ember Moon, met in the ring to sign the contract for their title match at TakeOver: MSG. Before signing, Ember told Nicole that the only reason she’s champion right now is because she took the easy way out in Chicago. “I was standing tall over Toni Storm and Nikki Cross. You know that I was only seconds away from becoming NXT Women’s Champion, so you decided to stoop to a level that I never thought you could. And you assumed you could get away with it because she’s the General Manager,” Ember said while pointing to Portia Perez, who was overseeing the contract signing. After Ember signed, Nicole did the same before saying that Ember is simply jealous. “Not just of me, but of every other woman in WWE. What was it that you said in your little documentary that NXT’s been airing over the past few weeks? I believe you mentioned that it was Paige who encouraged you to give wrestling another shot, right? You know, WWE Champion Paige? A woman who is more successful than you will ever be? Hell, I’M more successful than you’ll ever be!” Nicole then said that if Ember wants to ensure that there won’t be any shenanigans at TakeOver, she can make that happen. After all, her best friend is the General Manager. “Go ahead, Portia. Make this a No DQ Match so I can finish off Ember once and for all.” Portia not only declined Nicole’s request, but implemented a different stipulation. “If you get disqualified or counted out in Madison Square Garden, you will lose the NXT Women’s Championship.” The stunned Nicole reacted by throwing the contract into Ember’s face before getting into an argument with Portia. During all of that, Ember had climbed onto the top rope for an Eclipse. Nicole quickly moved out of the way, causing Ember to fall through the table! Nicole picked up the NXT Women’s Title and left, leaving Portia to ask for the ringside doctor to check on Ember.
NEXT WEEK: Lars Sullivan’s open challenge will be answered by a member of 423-GET-FAME. Plus, the PROGRESS brigade of Pete Dunne, Toni Storm, Marty Scurll, Mark Haskins and Will Ospreay will address SAnitY and the upcoming 10-Person Tag Team Match at TakeOver: MSG.
3) THE GOLDEN LOVERS DEF. THE LUCHA DRAGONS after a Golden Trigger to Kalisto. In one of the more exciting main events in recent NXT memory, Kenny Omega and Kota Ibushi managed to prove to the world that they are still a cohesive unit, even with the Fatal Four Way Match coming up at TakeOver: MSG.
NXT’S MOST SURREAL MATCH IN HISTORY IS SET: After the match, NXT Commissioner William Regal was shown in his office when Famous B walked in, looking over his shoulder at the monitor. Famous B tried to compliment Regal on the show, but the Commissioner was only interested in knowing if anybody from 423-GET-FAME will accept Lars Sullivan’s challenge for next week. “It doesn’t seem like Kalisto or Fenix will be ready by then, so who will it be? The Velveteen Dream or yourself?” Regal asked. Famous B tried to evade the topic before Liv Morgan walked into the room, asking Regal why he forgot about her. “Give me Lars Sullivan,” Liv said, Regal and Famous B both appearing to be equally shocked. When Famous B tried to talk her out of it, Liv said that Paige proved anything is possible in WWE. “Do I need to say it again? Give me Lars Sullivan next week so I can beat his ass!” Liv was absolutely serious about accepting the challenge, Regal hesitatingly telling her that as long as she doesn’t change her mind between now and next Wednesday, he’ll sanction the match

July 30th, 2014 | Episode 001 | "Arrival of the Empress"
WHO WILL TAKE HER THRONE?: A video package with the Queen of the Ring tournament's official theme song - "Why Am I Like This?" by The Word Alive - kicked off the inaugural episode on the WWE Network. Quick glimpses of the sixteen competitors were shown, all vying for the same thing. The chance to call herself the very first WWE Queen of the Ring. "Yes or no, don't go slow. I just want to feel alive tonight. Our own bloody Sunday... our own bloody Sunday."
1) DAKOTA KAI DEF. CHELSEA GREEN via running kick into Chelsea's face while perched against a corner. The New Zealand native picks up the first victory in the Queen of the Ring tournament, and will now advance to the quarter-finals for a contest against either Santana Garrett or Sienna.
2) ASUKA DEF. SONYA DEVILLE after Sonya passed out to the Asuka Lock. In an extremely hard-hitting bout, Asuka was able to fight out of Sonya Deville's Ankle Lock by kicking her into a turnbuckle. After a backhand forearm strike to the side of Sonya's neck, Asuka caught her while she was collapsing and applied the Asuka Lock for a knockout win. 'The Empress of Tomorrow' remains one of the WWE Universe's favorites to become Queen of the Ring as she looks ahead to the next round, where she will hope to turn either Nia Jax or Veda Scott into her next victim.
NEXT WEEK: Ruby Riott battles Mia Yim, and 'The Demon Assassin' Rosemary meets 'The Pirate Princess' Kairi Sane in the main event.

It seems the favorites in the tournament are doin business and I love it. Asuka's undefeated streak begins hopefully but seeing her beat Sonya DeVille came as no surprise but with Asuka advancing I wonder who she gets in the next round? With Kai beating Green to advance...it begs the question of who she would face? Either way sign me up for this tournament because I am into it so far.

July 31st, 2014 | Episode 016 | "The Iconic Wedding" AJ LEE MAKES THE REPERCUSSIONS CLEAR: In a promo with a handheld camera, AJ Lee was shown backstage in the Toyota Center, already in her dress and veil for The Iconic Wedding tonight. 'The Black Widow' said that she and Billie Kay's love has become a target for a few superstars on the SmackDown Live roster, so in order to ensure that everything goes according to plan, she was given a wedding present from WWE management. If anybody disrupts The Iconic Wedding and lays a finger on her, they'll be suspended indefinitely. And in the case of Paige, that would mean she'll be stripped of the WWE Championship.
JOHNNY WRESTLING'S LAST SHOT: In the Toyota Center, Johnny Gargano's entrance music kicked things off with a monstrous reaction to accompany it. 'Johnny Wrestling' made his way down to the ring, addressing the WWE Universe since he believes he's never made his intentions fully clear before. "My name is Johnny Gargano. I'm from Cleveland, Ohio, and for as long as I can remember, standing in this very ring was my dream." Even when people doubted him because of his stature, Gargano persevered because he wanted to prove that every dream is worth fighting for. "When I was invited to take part in the WWE Cruiserweight Classic, I knew that was the platform where I could show that anybody can make a difference in the world." When the Cruiserweight Championship was introduced, it was all that Gargano could think about. He made it to the finals of the tournament and practically had his fingertips on the title before it was ripped away from him by Andrade 'Cien' Almas. Now, Gargano has one more opportunity at the title, and he won't let it get away from him this time. Almas' business associate Zelina Vega would then interrupt Gargano, telling him that he needs to let his fairytale dream go. Otherwise, Almas is going to crush his dream once again, just like he did at the Cruiserweight Classic Finale as well as The Bash. While Zelina berated Gargano, Almas snuck into the ring and attacked Gargano, laying him out with Destino before kicking him out of the ring. Almas removed one of the paddings on the floor, planting Gargano head-first onto the concrete floor with a Hammerlock DDT! Gargano receives his final shot at the Cruiserweight Championship next week, but who knows if he'll even be able to make it to Laredo after what Almas just did to him.
1) SAMI ZAYN & CODY RHODES DEF. THE USOS TO WIN THE SMACKDOWN TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS after a Disaster Kick to Jimmy Uso sent him into the corner for a Helluva Kick. Sami Zayn and Cody Rhodes were just as shocked as anyone else after the two were thrown together into a team last week by Shane McMahon and Kurt Angle. Once WWE Championship opponents at The Bash, Zayn and Rhodes now stand tall on Team Blue as the SmackDown Tag Team Champions.
SAMOA JOE CHALLENGES KURT ANGLE: At this time, a sitdown interview that Renee Young conducted with Samoa Joe was aired. When Renee asked why Joe has continued to target Shane McMahon and Kurt Angle after already beating Shane at The Bash, 'The Samoan Submission Machine' stated that Shane was only a fraction of the bigger issue he has with SmackDown Live. "Shane is the most powerful man on this brand, being the Commissioner and all, but the problem has always been with Kurt Angle. Shane simply got in my way, giving me the opportunity to show what happens when you cross Samoa Joe." When Renee asked Joe if he wanted to challenge Angle to a match, he responded by saying that getting into the ring with Angle would be ideal... "But as we all know, Kurt is retired. Not because doctors ordered him to, though. Kurt wants to dodge the possibility of a match against me, and I understand why. He was able to walk away from professional wrestling a happy, healthy man. Two things he would lose out on if he gave me the chance to choke his ass out." Joe left the interview saying that if Angle wants to come out of retirement, he better be the first person to find out. "Even though I'm sure Kurt would much rather me be the last."
2) ALLIE DEF. TAYNARA CONTI IN A CATCH POINT EXHIBITION MATCH after a Death Valley Driver into a corner. While SmackDown Women's Champion Becky Lynch continues to fully heal from her injuries, Allie was put against Taynara Conti in a Catch Point Exhibition organized by the group's leader, TJ Perkins. Taynara surprised Allie and the WWE Universe with her in-ring prowess that stemmed from her background in martial arts, nearly defeating Allie. However, 'The Queen of Catch' retaliated and was able to put Taynara away, using her own stablemate to send a message to 'The Irish Lass Kicker' ahead of SummerSlam.
CM PUNK & TJ PERKINS HAVE THEIR HANDS FULL: Backstage, TJ Perkins and CM Punk were shown watching a television monitor after two of their own Catch Point stablemates just collided. SmackDown Commissioner Shane McMahon then walked into the room, informing Punk and TJP that while both are left without the WWE and Intercontinental Championships after losing their rematches last week, he wants the two of them to look ahead to a future as a tag team. That's why tonight, they'll be facing Bo-Jo. Both Punk and TJP were puzzled by the match, TJP even expressing his disinterest. "He's the 'Best in the World'... and we're facing Bo-Jo?" he asked. After Shane said that Punk and TJP could use the opportunity if they want to prove that Catch Point really is the hottest thing going on SmackDown Live, TJP said, "I'm the leader of the most dominant stable in WWE... and we're wrestling Bo-Jo?" Once Shane left the room, the two Catch Point members were still left nearly speechless. "... A woman is WWE Champion... and we're wrestling Bo-Jo?"
3) JOHN CENA DEF. ANTONIO CESARO TO RETAIN THE INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP after two Attitude Adjustments. John Cena's Intercontinental Championship Open Challenge proved to be a success as Antonio Cesaro provided 'The Franchise Player' with an exceedingly competitive bout. After putting away Cesaro, Cena shook hands with both his opponent and Kassius Ohno before standing tall with the Intercontinental Title after his second successful defense. Cena then made his way over the announce table, using Mauro Ranallo's headset to inform the SmackDown Live locker room that next week, he'll be holding yet another open challenge.
4) TYLER BREEZE DEF. CEDRIC ALEXANDER via the Beauty Shot. Towards the end of the match, Baron Corbin, who's had his run-ins with the Cruiserweight Division over the last few weeks, ran down to ringside and took out Roderick Strong with a Clothesline. After Alexander wiped Corbin out with a plancha over the top rope, Alexander rolled back into the ring and was immediately taken out by Breeze. 'Prince Pretty' assisted Corbin up to his feet, only doing so because he was in the way of Strong, whom Breeze hit with a Supermodel Kick before leaving up the entrance ramp.
MONDAY NIGHT RAW PREVIEW: Derrick Bateman puts the Universal Championship on the line against The Miz. The Wyatt Tribe battles The New Day in a Six Man Tag Team Match where the winning trio will be placed into Aztec Warfare, while the losing team must choose only one member to represent them at SummerSlam.
5) DEAN AMBROSE DEF. SOLOMON CROWE VIA DISQUALIFICATION due to a low blow. Throughout the match, Crowe was visibly upset whenever Ambrose executed a wrestling hold against him. Crowe quickly lost his cool and assaulted Ambrose, leading to Jeff Hardy and Drake Younger intervening. When Younger tried questioning his PMA tag team partner, Crowe refused to acknowledge him and left the ring.
6) CM PUNK & TJ PERKINS DEF. BO-JO when Mojo Rawley submitted to TJ Perkins' Kneebar while CM Punk placed his foot against the side of his head. The match was quick and painful for Bo-Jo as Catch Point ran right through them without breaking a sweat. Post-match, Punk took a microphone and stated that while he and TJP don't see eye-to-eye on a lot of things, the fact remains that both of them are the elite competitors on SmackDown Live, and they deserve to be treated with more respect. TJP then said that he and Punk are demanding that real competition step up to them. That's why they're issuing a challenge to any tag team in the world at SummerSlam.
THE ICONIC WEDDING PART 1: BELOVED, LET US LOVE ONE ANOTHER At last, it was time for the payoff to the tension that had been building for months between AJ Lee and The Iconic Duo. At one point, AJ portrayed the victim in all of this after she had been screwed out of the RAW Women's Championship by Billie Kay and Peyton Royce at No Mercy. AJ had the support of the WWE Universe through her mental trials and tribulations, but once AJ made her way over to SmackDown Live, the tide quickly changed. The fans took AJ's tormenting of Billie and Peyton as a betrayal, and thus, they sided with Peyton during the 'Till Death Do Us Part Match. The same match that Peyton lost, resulting in what AJ has dubbed the one true 'Iconic Wedding.'
As the customary wedding music played over the PA system in the Toyota Center, Billie made her entrance first, 'The Femme Fatale' still just as distraught as ever. The expression on her face painted absolute misery as she slowly walked down to the ring for a wedding that she never asked for, but was contractually obligated to partake in after her current... ex... whatever girlfriend failed to beat AJ at The Bash.
Stepping into the ring, Billie stood on the left side of the microphone that was positioned in front of the priest. She awaited the arrival of her forced bride, the one person who was pleased by any of this.
Seconds later, AJ Lee emerged from the curtain, grinning ear-to-ear while glancing down at the ring to get her first glimpse of Billie in a wedding dress. A dress that Rob Naylor noted was probably purchased when Billie believed that she would be marrying Peyton. "None of this is right. AJ's turned her back on everyone and everything for the sake of stealing Billie's heart. Somebody has to do something about this, but now that we know of the consequences that await anyone who attacks AJ, what can be done?" Mauro Ranallo asked. Even Nigel McGuinness, who normally sides with mischief, couldn't help but feel bad for Billie. "Last week, she made some claims about AJ that seem outlandish... and this may be wrong of me... but given AJ's mental state, is it entirely out of the realm of possibility?" McGuinness questioned regarding the allegations of sexual assault.
Once AJ was in the ring, she looked around at the chairs that had been set up at ringside. They were intended for guests who wanted to watch the wedding up close, but all of the seats were empty. "... The invitations must have gotten lost in the mail," AJ said cheerfully, neither Billie nor anyone in the Toyota Center laughing. The priest would then begin speaking, soon asking the two if they would like to read their vows aloud.
Since Billie didn't have any vows written - or at least none that were meant for AJ - 'The Black Widow' went ahead with hers.
"I understand that this wedding may not have spawned the way that either of us would've liked. For months, you were forced to conceal your feelings for me because Peyton Royce was holding your heart hostage. I promised myself that someday, I'd break you free from her shackles. You know, honestly, I think I tried to deny my own feelings at first. After that special night were shared in February, I thought you and I were going to be distanced from each other forever. It was WrestleMania season and you were still down in NXT. There was never any time for me to see you, so I thought that would be the end of what I knew could be a beautiful romance. It wasn't until WrestleMania in New Orleans when I knew that I couldn't just give up on us. When I was in this ring and the Women's Title match came down to Alexa Bliss and myself, I didn't know how to continue on. Alexa had beaten every ounce of momentum out of me. I thought my chances of become Women's Champion were slimming until I looked up at the skybox in the stadium and saw you glaring down at me. Everyone might think it's impossible for me to have seen you from that far away, but when love is that strong, you become superhuman. You gave me the strength to go on, and what happened? I beat Alexa to become Women's Champion again. That title reign ended when you and Peyton attacked me at No Mercy. I wasn't mad at you. In fact, I was thrilled because I got the chance to see you again after the Draft kept us separated. What tore me to pieces was everything that happened afterwards. When you didn't show up to RAW the next night and Emma beat me all on her own, I thought that maybe I'd never get the chance to see you. I tried taking my own life and that forced WWE's hand. They required me to go see a psychologist, but the entire time, I was trying to think of ways I could see you again. No matter the situation, you were all I thought about because I love you, Billie. I love you more than Peyton could ever dream of because she never wanted your soul. All she ever wanted out of you was your body. I love you for far more than just that. I love your mind. I love your spirit. I love your company. I love the way you move. The way you talk. Every single thing about stirs emotions in me that I never thought I could feel. You helped me discover that I actually do have a heart. After a year and a half of people treating me like a monster, you brought out the human in me. I don't know if I can ever thank you enough for that, but I will certainly try. After all, we now have an eternity to make that happen."
After AJ completed her vow, the priest asked if anyone objected to their marriage. This was where the WWE Universe expected somebody, anybody to appear and try to put a stop to all of this. But as it had been questioned before, what could be done? If anyone tried to attack AJ, they'd be suspended indefinitely, and violence against 'The Black Widow' was the only surefire way to stop the wedding. Nothing else would work. AJ glanced up at the entrance ramp just to make sure that no superstar would try to stop her wedding. More than a few seconds had passed without any sign of anybody, relieving AJ since she now fully believed that her threat earlier worked. No one was going to "save" Billie. The wedding would go on uninterrupted.
"Do you, Billie, take AJ to be your lawfully wedded wife? To have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do us part?"
The priest asked Billie the daunting words that she had no escape from. If she said no, she'd immediately be fired per result of the 'Till Death Do Us Part Match. And it's not like that would stop AJ from further tormenting Peyton whenever she had the chance. There was no way out for Billie, or at least not one that she could think of.
"... I... I... I do."
Billie gave her affirmation that she would marry AJ. All AJ had to do now was say the same two words as Billie, and they'd be a married couple.
"And do you, AJ, take Billie to be your lawfully wedded wife? To have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do us part?"
AJ was only a second away from saying, "I do," before Paige's entrance music sounded.
THE ICONIC WEDDING PART 2: I AM LEGEND ALL BECAUSE OF YOU The WWE Champion walked out onto the stage to the biggest ovation of the night, finally showing herself after allowing the wedding to reach its near-conclusion. AJ was irate, but didn't immediately lash out since she knew that there was still nothing Paige could do. If anything, this only made The Iconic Wedding even more satisfying for AJ since Paige would have to witness she and Billie be wedded in person.
Paige walked down to the ring, taking a microphone to tell AJ that she's the only person who is capable of stopping this... and even AJ herself knows that.
"You want to know how I know that, AJ? Because I was able to stop everything else that you've tried to accomplish."
In order for Paige's plan to work, she had to put on a facade and act every bit as arrogant and self-centered as AJ believes the truly is.
"This is what it took for the world to make you the most talked-about female competitor in profession wrestling. A wedding that resembles a hostage scene more than anything else. I'm not here to accuse you of anything like Billie did because I don't have any proof that you assaulted her. What I do have proof of, though, is that no matter how hard you've worked throughout your career, you failed as a WWE superstar. You know what that proof is?" said Paige before raising the WWE Championship.
"You got to WWE before I did. When you were on the main roster challenging for the Divas Championship, I was still in NXT. But very quickly thereafter, I set the trend that you're still trying to break. The most dominant Divas Champion of all-time was Eve Torres. You remember Eve, right? How could you forget since you have to live the rest of your life knowing that you couldn't beat her. You had three opportunities against her and you failed in all of them. At Night of Champions, she forced you into retirement. The WWE Universe was convinced that if you couldn't beat Eve, then no one could. That was until I showed up. And guess what? I beat her. I did something that you nor any other woman in this company could do and I dethroned Eve to become Divas Champion. The same title that literally cost you your career. You should've gotten it through your head in that moment that you had your work cut out for you if you wanted to prove to everyone that you're better than me. You had your opportunity at WrestleMania in front of your friends and family, and what did you do? You failed. You screamed in agony that you came too far to give up, but you still did. And you had to realize that no matter what, you couldn't beat me the way you wanted to. Then, we made history in the UK. We were the first women since Trish Stratus and Lita to main event Monday Night RAW... and what did you do? You betrayed me. You sided with Kaitlyn and stole the Divas Championship away from. You had to resort to that in order to beat me because you knew you couldn't do it on your own. And what did that lead to? The most impactful match in WWE history. A match that is still being talked about to this day. The only reason you were the Last Diva Standing at Extreme Rules was because of The Committee. You beat me, but history doesn't resemble that, now does it? Because after that match, I was the one who broke into the main event scene! I was the one who became the most successful female superstar of all-time! No matter what you did, I overshadowed you every step of the way! You became a three-time champion while I was competing in Hell in a Cell! I made it to the final two in the Royal Rumble match! I competed in the WarGames match that was supposed to be for male competitors only. And that WrestleMania that you just mentioned? The one where Billie gave you the strength to overcome Alexa Bliss? I beat Bray Wyatt in the main event. I was the final image of the biggest WrestleMania in history. Just four days later, I was the first woman taken in the WWE Draft. You were literally the champion of the division, yet I was still chosen ahead of you. Lastly, there was The Bash. The night you intended to be your career milestone. You defeated Peyton Royce to claim Billie Kay's hand in marriage, but is that what anyone was talking about by the end of the night? No because I took my Money in the Bank briefcase and used it to become the first woman in history to win the WWE Championship! And that eats away at you because you know that it's now cemented that you can never be better than me! You've had to live the last two years as a distant number two to my number one and it's going to be like that for the rest of time!"
AJ had to hold her aggression in, trying to convince herself that Paige was only saying what she knew would get under her skin. She didn't buy that Paige actually believed what she was saying... or at least that's what she was hoping for.
"No matter what you do..." Paige said before literally pressing the WWE Championship's center plate against AJ's face. "... You will NEVER be better than me!"
AJ finally shoved Paige and the WWE Title away form her before taking the microphone.
"You want me to admit it?! Fine! Yes, I'm jealous of you! I'm jealous of the fact that you've become the bigger star when I'm the one who came out in top in our rivalry! Last Diva Standing should have been MY ticket to superstardom, but it was YOURS! It was yours because while you play the role of the underdog, you've actually been the chosen one the entire time! The fans chose you, and whether you want to believe it or not, the WWE chose you. You were placed into every main event position that should have been mine! Even at TLC in this very arena when I became the first Women's Champion of the new era, you stole my moment from me! Because everything has to be about you! Emma's turned it into a catchphrase, but when it comes to Paige, it truly is all about you and that makes me sick! Why couldn't you have come along ten years ago when nobody gave a damn about women, or ten years later when people like you are the norm?!? For once, why can't you just leave me alone?!? Why do we have to be intertwined forever?!? Why has this become my reality?!? Even during my wedding, you had to just show up and make everything all about yourself because you're a selfish, egocentric, manipulative, narcissistic, conniving, deceitful and heartless bitch!"
AJ's anger pushed her to brink of tears, having to breathe deeply and heavily while Billie stood in the ring with a shock expression, watching the two biggest female stars of her generation - and maybe in history - try to draw the worst out of each other.
"... I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you. I hate you."
AJ repeated the same phrase over and over again, very similarly to how Billie uttered, "You raped me," repeatedly last week.
Paige then told AJ that if she really hates, why doesn't she do anything about it then?
"Here's your chance to prove to everyone and yourself that you're better than me."
AJ kept her head down, perhaps unwilling to listen to whatever Paige's proposal was.
"All you have to do is call off the wedding AND your engagement to Billie... and I'll give you a shot at the WWE Championship."
AJ slowly picked her head up, her mouth wide open in disbelief as Paige continued to pile on the stakes.
"I'll give you a shot at the WWE Championship in Madison Square Garden at SummerSlam!"
AJ's body trembled at the thought of being able to not only prove that she's better than Paige once and for all, but also having the chance to do it for the WWE Championship in the same arena she watched WrestleMania 20 in.
"I'll give you a shot at the WWE Championship in Madison Square Garden at SummerSlam in a Last Diva Standing Match! You want to get rid of me?! You want to prove that you're the greatest wrestler of all-time?! Then beat me! Call off your wedding, take my championship out of my hands and beat me to a bloody pulp at SummerSlam!"
Paige was risking everything to save Billie from this wedding. She just laid out her proposal to AJ for a Last Diva Standing rematch on the biggest stage that the two have ever seen in their careers.
AJ needed to make a choice in that moment. Does she marry Billie Kay, or does she take the WWE Championship match against Paige at SummerSlam? She could only have one, and both just happened to be her heart's biggest desires.
Paige raised the WWE Title while AJ glanced back-and-forth between that and Billie's face.
The priest then asked AJ one more time if she takes Billie to be her lawfully wedded wife.
"... I don't!"
AJ stood nose-to-nose with Paige, the WWE Championship match now set. In three weeks, AJ and Paige repeat history. The biggest rematch in the history of SummerSlam. A Last Diva Standing match for the WWE Title.
THE ICONIC WEDDING PART 3: PANDORA'S BOX But because AJ just accepted Paige's challenge, the wedding and her engagement to Billie were officially over. And the acceptance came directly from AJ, making the nullification effective immediately.
After staring down Paige, AJ turned towards Billie, promising her that they'll get married sooner than later. "And this time, we'll do so with me as the WWE Champion while Paige ceases to exist. Doesn't that sound better for us?" AJ asked Billie.
The stipulation set in place earlier was that if anyone laid a finger on AJ during the wedding, they'd be suspended.
The wedding was over.
As AJ held Billie's hand, 'The Femme Fatale' took the opening and struck her with a forearm to her jaw! Finally, Billie was able to get retribution against AJ! The fans in the Toyota Center broke into "Yes!" chants while Billie continued to attack AJ, 'The Black Widow' trying to roll away. When AJ pushed Billie off of her and stood up, she tried exiting the ring, but her path was blocked by Paige.
Suddenly, the WWE Universe erupted once again, but for a different reason as Peyton Royce entered the ring through the crowd.
Peyton took AJ down to the canvas, returning the favor for everything that she's been put through over the last few months. During that scuffle, Paige headed out to ringside, moving everything off the surface of a table that was decorated for the wedding.
Paige shouted at Peyton, getting her attention to point at the table.
Billie and Peyton both glanced at each other, knowing exactly what Paige was asking for from them.
Together, Billie and Peyton hoisted AJ up into the air, throwing her out of the ring with a double team Razor's Edge through the table!
"The Iconic Duo is back!" Mauro Ranallo exclaimed over the raucous Houston audience. For the first time in over a month, Billie and Peyton were standing in the same ring at the same time. The two performed their signature pose for the hard camera, tears welling up in both of their eyes after finally being reunited.
While Billie and Peyton stood tall in the ring, Paige realized that the priest was still in the ring.
Suddenly, the WWE Champion realized her opening to cause AJ even more pain that she deserved.
Paige grabbed AJ's left hand and removed her engagement ring before reaching through the ropes to hand it to Peyton.
Peyton held the ring before looking back at Billie and the priest, understanding what Paige was trying to accomplish.
"Do it! Now!" Paige screamed at Peyton.
Paige grabbed AJ by her arms, keeping an extreme tight grip on them as she forced 'The Black Widow' to watch what was about to happen in the ring.
Peyton put the ring back onto her finger and pulled Billie towards the priest, telling him that they wanted to get married.
Finally regaining consciousness, AJ had to watch as Billie and Peyton held hands in the ring, the priest about to ask if they would take each other as their wives.
AJ screamed out at Paige to let her go, but the WWE Champion refused and wanted to make sure that AJ watched her entire world crumble before her eyes.
"Do you, Billie, take Peyton to be your lawfully wedded wife? To have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do us part?"
"I DO!"
"And do you, Peyton, take Billie to be your lawfully wedded wife? To have and to hold, from this day forward, for better, for worse, for richer, for poorer, in sickness and in health, until death do us part?
"YES, I DO!"
And just like, Billie and Peyton were officially married.
AJ finally stopped screaming once she realized that she had been defeated. She didn't make any noise after that. She simply looked down at the ground, her eyes not even blinking. It was like she didn't even have the strength the cry. She had lost all of while trying to struggle out of Paige's grasp.
Billie and Peyton kissed each other and hugged while continuing to cry. After they both believed that all hope was lost, Paige managed to bring them back together after forcing AJ's hand with her SummerSlam challenge. Whether Peyton believes that Billie cheated on her back in February or not, she's shown here tonight that she doesn't career. She was still in love with Billie and wanted to be with her.
Not wanting to get anywhere near AJ, Billie and Peyton left hand in hand through the audience, Paige still holding the woman who she's going to defend the WWE Championship against in a Last Diva Standing match at SummerSlam.
The Iconic Wedding is officially over.
Billie Kay and Peyton Royce are a married couple at last.

August 4th, 2014 | Episode 017 | "Shock the System" THE MIZ AND MARYSE ARRIVE: At the start of RAW, a limousine was shown arriving with The Miz and Maryse, the two traveling together to Austin, the city they intend on moving to once their child is born. Maryse, who had not been seen shortly since before her pregnancy was announced, said to a nearby camera crew that she wouldn't miss The Miz's becoming of Universal Champion for anything. The cameras continued to follow the couple as they begin filming for a new reality show titled "Miz and Mrs." And in Miz's words, "Tonight, we film our series premiere as I defeat Derrick Bateman to become Universal Champion. And it will be..." Together, Miz and Maryse shouted, "Awesome!"
ADAM COLE "SHOCKS THE SYTEM": In the Frank Erwin Center, Adam Cole was shown in the ring already with the rest of The Undisputed ERA, Chris Jericho, Michael Bennett and Maria Kanellis. The stable's theme music played lightly in the background in what could only be described as completely unnecessary while Cole rambled on about The Undisputed ERA's lack of success as a group since being established months ago. "I mean, I've held up my end of the bargain. I became United States Champion. I competed for the Money in the Bank briefcase. And in 13 days at SummerSlam, I have an opportunity at the Universal Championship." Jericho seemingly sided with Cole, noting that Bennett and Maria's additions to the group may have been a mistake. "Neither achieved anything in NXT, so maybe we should have seen this coming." Bennett would then get into Jericho's face, asking him what he's done in The Undisputed ERA to be chastising him. Bennett and Jericho continued to argue as Maria tried to make peace between the two, only for Cole to hit her with a Superkick! Bennett turned around and tried to go after Cole, but was hit behind the neck with The List of Jericho. Cole and Jericho stood tall over their now-former stablemates, and just as Jericho was about to put Bennett and Maria down onto his list, Cole Superkicked him as well! It would seem that Cole's decided he no longer needs The Undisputed ERA, abandoning them ahead of the Aztec Warfare match at SummerSlam.
1) DANIEL BRYAN DEF. BOBBY FISH after a Busaiku Knee and failed interference from Kyle O'Reilly. While Bryan celebrated his victory with "Yes!" chants, O'Reilly assisted Fish up the entrance ramp, vowing that they will get back at Bryan.
2) SASHA BANKS DEF. JAMES ELLSWORTH via submission. When Sasha applied the Bank Statement, Ellsworth cried out at Carmella to save him, but 'The Princess of Staten Island' simply watched from the stage.
HEATH SLATER IS GREETED BY A SURPRISE GUEST: At an autograph signing earlier in the day, Hardcore Champion Heath Slater greeted members of the WWE Universe, one of them even being R-Truth, who has worked with Slater for half a decade and had no reason to attend the signing. Truth seemed heavily in the Hardcore Championship, asking questions about the title as if he didn't compete in the Gauntlet match back in December to crown a new champion. Slater was posing for a picture with Truth and the championship when both were suddenly ambushed by Drake Maverick, who had a referee with him. Maverick stomped on Slater before he was Clotheslined by Truth, who tried covering him before the official informed him that he could only win the title by pinning Slater, who had already ran off by that point.
SMACKDOWN LIVE PREVIEW: In the first Cruiserweight Championship match on live television, Johnny Gargano receives his final opportunity against Andrade 'Cien' Almas. Plus, John Cena holds yet another Intercontinental Championship open challenge, and the newly-married Iconic Duo sign the contract for their SummerSlam match against TJ Perkins and CM Punk of Catch Point.
DANIEL BRYAN MYSTERIOUSLY ATTACKED: Cameras cut quickly to a scene backstage as Daniel Bryan was shown laid out on the floor with the only clue to who attacked him being an Undisputed ERA shirt draped over his chest. But as Corey Graves noted on commentary in the moment, The Undisputed ERA was disbanded by Adam Cole at the start of RAW.
3) THE WYATT TRIBE DEF. THE NEW DAY IN A SIX MAN TAG TEAM MATCH after an RKO to Big E. As a result of this win, Bray Wyatt, Pentagon and Randy Orton have qualified for Aztec Warfare at SummerSlam, leaving The New Day with the dilemma of having to choose only one member of their trio to challenge for the Universal Championship in Madison Square Garden.
AJ STYLES VOWS TO CLAIM REDEMPTION AT SUMMERSLAM: At this time, AJ Styles made his way down to the ring, addressing the WWE Universe and acknowledging his "disappointing" run on Monday Night RAW ever since the Draft. "I've not been myself, and I can blame whoever I want to. I can blame The Undertaker for giving me the most heart-wrenching defeat of my career. I can blame all of you people for abandoning me like you didn't have my back before. Hell, I can blame myself, but ultimately, none of that matters. I know I'll climb back to the mountaintop at SummerSlam and become Universal Champion. I know I'll beat every top superstar on this brand in Aztec Warfare, and I know that I'll erase every strand of bad luck that's followed me over the last few months. You know how I know that? Because..." Styles was then suddenly interrupted by Finn Balor, who told Styles that when he was drafted to RAW from NXT, there was one man that the WWE Universe wanted to see him step into the ring with. "And quite frankly, I wanted this match just as badly as anyone else. But... I look at you now, and I wonder what happened to the guy who everyone praised the greatest wrestler in the world? What happened to the fire that was lit under AJ Styles that allowed him to become WWE Champion and carry it into WrestleMania? Surely... it couldn't have been because I came into the picture, right? You can assure me that it's not just a coincidence that when Finn Balor joined RAW, AJ Styles forgot what it means to be 'Phenomenal'?" Balor was purposely trying to enrage Styles, wanting to bring out the competitor that he knows he can be for Aztec Warfare. Styles told Balor that if he wants to find out first-hand the reason why he's been hailed as one of the all-time greats, he'll be glad to show him. Balor removed his leather jacket, prepared to face Styles right there and then. "... Next week," said Styles to a chorus of boos before leaving the ring.
SETH ROLLINS AND KEVIN OWENS SOLIDIFY THEIR OWN ENCOUNTER: As AJ Styles walked away from Finn Balor in the arena, United States Champion Seth Rollins was shown watching the television screen at the interview set-up. Kevin Owens then approached Rollins from behind, acknowledging his presence last week during his match against Adam Cole. "Don't act like you did anything to help me, Seth. I never asked for your help, I don't want it and I certainly don't need it." Rollins stated that he was only there to scout future opponents for the Aztec Warfare match, but if Owens has a fight to pick with him, why not do it next week? "Styles and Balor already have their match set up. What do you say you and I make ours official." Rollins extended his hand out, Owens accepting the gesture to confirm their one-on-one match for next week in Portland.
4) SOFIA CORTEZ & MUSTAFA ALI DEF. EMMA & BUDDY MURPHY via an 054 to Murphy. After Ali and Sofia exited the ring following another successful tag team outing, Emma and Murphy were suddenly attacked by the RAW Women's Champion Alexa Bliss! Alexa struck Emma with the Women's Title before turning to Murphy, catching him with a jab to the side of his face! Emma pulled Alexa out of the ring, the two continuing to brawl as officials were called to separate the two of them.
DERRICK BATEMAN TRIES TO PLAY MIND GAMES WITH THE MIZ AND MARYSE: In a special locker room for The Miz and Maryse, the former Divas Champion was shown texting on her phone when she glanced up to see the Universal Champion Derrick Bateman in front of her. Maryse panicked and tried slapping Bateman, only for 'The God of the New Era' to catch her hand in motion. "That won't be necessary. I'm not here to harm you," Bateman said. He was only there to relay a message to Maryse about what he plans on doing to The Miz tonight. "See, I don't have any extraordinary issues with The Miz, or at least not the extent that I normally have with people here on RAW. But either way, that doesn't matter because your husband is trying to take this away from me. This championship that I have spent all of 2014 fighting to hold onto. I know what it's like to let it slip through my fingers and trust me, if that were to happen, things would only get worse for The Miz. Tonight, I take him out before this can turn into a much, much bigger issue." Bateman was about to leave the room before glancing down at the pregnant stomach of the frightened Maryse, telling her to let him know if she wanted another child after hers is born.
THE REVIVAL LURE IN BRAUN STROWMAN: In the ring, RAW Tag Team Champions The Revival were shown in "injured" states. Dash Wilder sat in a wheelchair while Scott Dawson stood on crutches, both pretending to tear up while talking about the assault from Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman last week. The two told the WWE Universe that because of their injuries, they're being forced to retire, which led to a "Yes!" chant from the audience. Dawson and Wilder then broke the act, saying that Wrestling Royalty is the only team that people will have to get over retiring. "You think we're going anywhere? We're the best damn team in not only the WWE, but the entire world today!" Dawson shouted. Wilder then said that what Reigns and Strowman did to them last week was nothing short of pathetic. They threw everything they had at them, yet The Revival are still standing. Wilder and Dawson continued to berate Reigns and Strowman before 'The Monster Among Men' finally walked out onto the stage. Because of their actions last week, Reigns and Strowman will be serving separate one-week suspensions. Strowman headed down to ringside, Wilder picking up his wheelchair and throwing it out of the ring towards Strowman. In an incredible feat of strength, Strowman was able to catch the wheelchair, hurling it over to the side of him! Strowman stepped into the ring as The Revival beat him down with their crutches. Wilder got one more crutch shot in to the throat of Strowman, giving himself and Dawson enough time to hurry out of the ring with their RAW Tag Team Titles.
NEXT WEEK: AJ Styles and Finn Balor meet one-on-one for the first time ever, and United States Champion Seth Rollins does battle with Kevin Owens in a non-title match. Plus, Drake Maverick will finally have a sanctioned, in-ring Hardcore Championship match against Heath Slater.
6) DERRICK BATEMAN DEF. THE MIZ TO RETAIN THE UNIVERSAL CHAMPIONSHIP as a result of two TKOs. Bateman's close call came after The Miz countered the first TKO attempt into the Skull Crushing Finale, but 'The God of the New Era' managed to get his shoulder up just in time. Miz uncharacteristically went for a Flying Crossbody, only to have Bateman catch him in mid-air. Bateman executed two TKOs to hold onto the Universal Championship, guaranteeing that he'll be the one to carry the gold into Aztec Warfare at SummerSlam. During Bateman's post-match celebration, he turned around and noticed Kyle O'Reilly and Bobby Fish standing on the ring. As Bateman approached them, he was suddenly taken out with a Superkick to the back of his head from Adam Cole! O'Reilly and Fish joined Cole in the ring as the three of them glared at the fallen Bateman, who was now being berated by The Miz. 'The A-Lister' held up the Universal Title before Cole nodded at O'Reilly and Fish. The two of them would then go after Miz, delivering Chasing the Dragon to him! Cole placed the Universal Title at the front of the ring while he stood tall with O'Reilly and Fish, Mauro Ranallo realizing that Cole didn't disband The Undisputed ERA earlier. He simply replaced Chris Jericho, Michael Bennett and Maria Kanellis with a cast that included the man he has teamed and gone to war with over the years in O'Reilly.
Cole, O'Reilly and Fish posed in the ring over the Universal Champion as Cole led the loudest cry of, "Adam Cole, Bay Bay!" the world had ever heard.
The Undisputed ERA has shocked the system in a big way with less than two weeks left until Cole and O'Reilly compete in the same Aztec Warfare match for the Universal Title.

- I definitely did not see that coming that's for sure. The Undisputed Era starting off RAW and then seeing Adam Cole turn on his stablemates Jericho and Bennett was nothing short of shocking. What shocked me more was the fact that he actually hits Maria with a Superkick. Then when Michael Bennett goes to attack Adam Cole Jericho hits Bennett right in the back of the head with the List of Jericho laying him out. However, just when Cole and Jericho are about to leave together Adam Cole turns on Chris Jericho too. I definitely have to say that that is huge.
- Miz vs Bateman for the WWE Universal Championship is a match I know I will definitely be keeping my eye on because not only is it a heel vs heel match but also it is a match where it is a Battle of the Most Hated superstars in the WWE. It is only a question of who the fans despise more.
- Daniel Bryan beating Bobby Fish was expected to say the least. Why? This is what Bobby Fish's first singles match in a WWE ring and of course there is going to be inexperience whereas Bryan is a former World and WWE Champion former Royal Rumble Match winner in this diary and he is a main event guy. I mean it doesn't matter if O'Reilly tried to interfere in this match it obviously didn't work and Bryan still won so that has to say something. It has to say that Daniel Bryan's feud with both of them is definitely still gonna continue.
- Sasha Banks beating Ellsworth definitely did not surprise me but what did was seeing Carmella at ringside and her not saving Ellsworth...which pretty much just strengthens Carmella's heel turn or even just her being a heel in general.
- As for who attacked Daniel Bryan...I have a feeling it was Adam Cole but more or less that Bobby Fish and Kyle O'Reilly joined in on the attack and now they have more or less aligned themselves with Adam Cole too.
- AJ Styles vs Finn Balor for me is definitely a Dream Feud and it seems that AJ Styles more or less has turned back into a full blown heel yet again in this diary which is not surprising to me. Seeing Balor feud with him also makes sense because of the history behind Bullet Club so it won't surprise me if we see Gallows and Anderson show up sooner or later to align themselves with AJ Styles over Finn Balor.
- Seth Rollins vs Kevin Owens...it makes me wonder if one of these men will turn back into a heel? Or will this stay babyface vs babyface?
- What the hell was that? Bateman the WWE Universal Champion cornering Maryse like that in her locker room while Miz is not even there...you know if Miz finds out about this that there will be hell to pay
- What I think I loved the most about RAW was the ending. Bateman retaining the WWE Universal Championship against The Miz for me is not even the story here. What is the story is what happened post-match and seeing Adam Cole, Bobby Fish and Kyle O'Reilly attack Miz. Then afterwards they attack Derrick Bateman too and seeing Cole replace both Bennett and Jericho with O'Reilly and Fish to make it the true and real Undisputed Era was awesome because the real group is Cole, O'Reilly and Fish...how long before Roderick Strong joins their group to truly make it a quartet here on RAW?

August 6th, 2014 | Episode 017 | "Liv and Learn"
THE PROGRESS BRIGADE SENDS A MESSAGE TO SAnitY: At the start of NXT, the PROGRESS brigade of PROGRESS Champion Pete Dunne, Toni Storm, Marty Scurll, Mark Haskins and Will Ospreay headed down to the ring, all five of them now working cohesively with the common goal of taking out SAnitY at TakeOver: MSG one week from Saturday. Toni stated that she initially wanted to take on SAnitY by herself since it was her problem and no one else's. "This started between myself and Nikki Cross, but not only did she get the rest of SAnitY... but my contemporaries over in the UK became tangled in this mess as well." 'The Bruiserweight' took a microphone and said that he isn't very keen on the idea of having to put his differences aside for one night with people he sees as competition. "The way I look at things, we're all each other's enemies. We each want to lead the expansion of British wrestling. Not only in PROGRESS, but in NXT and WWE as a whole. The introduction of the United Kingdom Championship should remind you all that at the end of the day, we're not allies. We just happen to have a common enemy in SAnitY." Toni then said that while she expects all five of them to be at each other's necks for the United Kingdom Title sooner than later, TakeOver: MSG is about extracting revenge against SAnitY.
1) NXT TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS DREW MCINTYRE & JINDER MAHAL, JOHN MORRISON & MAGNUS DEF. RICOCHET, UHAA NATION, MATT RIDDLE & CJ PARKER after a Claymore Kick to Parker. Leaving behind Morrison and Magnus after the closing bell, McIntyre and Mahal took back their NXT Tag Team Championships and headed up the entrance ramp, showing them off to Ricochet and Uhaa ahead of their Ladder Match at TakeOver: MSG for the gold.
LIV MORGAN IS AS CONFIDENT AS EVER: Backstage, Charly Caruso was standing by with the woman who actually challenged Lars Sullivan last week to a match here tonight, Liv Morgan. After Liv stepped into the picture, Charly had only one question for her. "... Why?" Liv responded by saying that she's heard that question nonstop over the last week. "No matter what I'm doing, it's always 'Liv, you're crazy!' or, 'Liv, are you stupid?' I'm walking my pet pig and I get tweets from fans pleading with me to call off the match. I'm watching The Iconic Wedding in the comfort of my own home, and I can't even be happy for Billie and Peyton because my phone is ringing every second with the same old message. Why? Why did I challenge Lars Sullivan? Why does anybody do anything? Huh, Charles? You want to answer that for me? I'll tell you the truth. Everyone here wants to make a name for themselves. That's what I'm going to do tonight, and that's what The Velveteen Dream will do at TakeOver...
... Do you really think I'm afraid? What would I even be afraid of? Lars Sullivan? Don't know her! Paul Heyman? Don't know her! Liv Morgan? THAT'S THE GIRL!"
2) EMBER MOON DEF. MANDY ROSE via the Eclipse. In Ember's last match before her NXT Women's Championship match at TakeOver MSG, NXT's 'War Goddess' was able to send a loud and clear message to Nicole Matthews.
ANGELICO PREPARES FOR HIS IN-RING DEBUT: A vignette was shown for the captivating high-flyer Angelico, who will be making his NXT debut in two weeks.
THE STARS ARE OUT FOR NXT'S MOST SURREAL MAIN EVENT IN HISTORY: The commentary team of Tom Phillips and Michael Schiavello were joined by the RAW broadcast team of Mauro Ranallo and Corey Graves. Normally, both men would have tonight off from the road, but they chose to be here in Full Sail tonight to call a match that's quite literally a once in a lifetime ordeal. "I wasn't fortunate enough to be around for Hulk Hogan vs. Andre the Giant, or any of The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin's WrestleMania matches," said Graves. "But I will forever be able to say that I was here at NXT to call Lars Sullivan vs. Liv Morgan." Ranallo stated that the tale of the tape for the match is pretty daunting. "Lars Sullivan has an entire foot and 200 pounds on Liv Morgan. This is the most lopsided match in NXT history. This is not going to be pretty. This won't be for the faint of heart. And I can't look away from it." Graves was then Facetimed by former NXT Champion and Universal Champion Kevin Owens, whose two questions were picked up by Graves' headset. "Did I miss it? Is she dead?"
LIV MORGAN RECEIEVES A MAIN EVENT-CALIBER INTRODUCTION FROM FAMOUS B: After Lars Sullivan and Paul Heyman marched down to the ring for this unfathomable match-up, Liv Morgan's entrance theme sounded to the biggest ovation of her career in Full Sail. She walked down to the ring in a Supreme boxing robe as Famous B followed her, wearing a special suit jacket with the words "Ya Only Liv Once" bedazzled on the back of it. Famous B took the microphone from JoJo, giving Liv his own special introduction. "Ladies and gentlemen, I've said time and time again that Famous B is here to make people famous, and after tonight, I guarantee that this young lady right here will be the single most talked about superstar in WWE! Paige, AJ Lee, Derrick Bateman, none of them will matter once the spotlight is shining down onto my client! She hails from Elmwood Park, New Jersey! She stands at a monstrous five foot three! I need all y'all to put your hands together for 'The Jersey Devil!' 'The 4-2-QUEEN of 4-2-3!' 'The Blue-Tongued Banshee!' 'The Girl!' Liv! Morgan!"
3) LIV MORGAN DEF. LARS SULLIVAN after a Moonsault. The second the bell sounded, Liv charged towards Sullivan, who swatted her away with only a light touch from his hands. Liv backed into a corner, Sullivan running towards her with a Splash. In an act of panic, Liv moved the referee into the way, causing him to be taken out. Liv climbed to the second rope a Missile Dropkick that had no effect on the 'Humongous Humanoid.' Sullivan picked Liv up off the canvas by her throat, holding her up for a Chokeslam when Famous B tried intervening. Sullivan knocked him out with a Headbutt, but then turned around to see The Lucha Dragons coming to Liv's aid. Kalisto springboarded off the top rope, only to be kicked directly in his sternum. Fenix tried to use his speed to his advantage, but Sullivan threw him into the air and caught him for a Powerslam. Liv was perched against a corner, trying to catch her breath while realizing there was nowhere to run. Suddenly, the fans in Full Sail came unglued when The Velveteen Dream appeared in the ring with a steel chair. Dream clobbered Sullivan with it before taking flight with The Purple Rainmaker! "Liv Morgan's chances of pulling off the upset of the century just went from 0 to 100 real quick thanks to The Velveteen Dream!" Liv slowly got the cover while Dream chased Heyman away, ensuring that he couldn't become a factor in Sullivan's favor. The official made the slow three count, only for Sullivan to kick out just before three! Liv had to wait for Sullivan to at least get to his knees before trying for a Shining Wizard. However, Sullivan was able to catch her for the Freak Accident. Before Sullivan could potentially end Liv's career, Kota Ibushi ran out to ringside, catching the official's attention. Sullivan let go of Liv as he walked towards Ibushi, not realizing that Kenny Omega was behind him. Omega drilled Sullivan in the back of the head with a V-Trigger before bolting out of the ring! Taking advantage of the opening she was given, Liv ascended to the top rope for a Moonsault onto Sullivan! The official turned around and made the most shocking three count in the history of NXT. "Mama mia, she did it! Liv Morgan just beat Lars Sullivan!" Ranallo screamed over the raucous NXT crowd. Liv rose to her feet with tears welling in her eyes as she couldn't even believe what had just happened. It took interference from all members of 423-GET-FAME and The Golden Lovers, but Sullivan's undefeated streak has just been snapped by Liv Morgan!
