iMPACT Wrestling on SpikeTV 2/16/2012 Orlando, FL iMPACT Zone A video package airs looking back at "Against All Odds". The music of Bobby Roode kicked off the broadcast, as the TNA World Heavyweight Champion made his way down to the ring. Bobby Roode cut a promo proclaiming himself the smartest man alive, saying he out smarted everyone at "Against All Odds". He said he was most proud of the fact that he out smarted "The Icon" Sting, stating it proved that Sting had no business in charge of iMPACT Wrestling. Roode proclaimed that he would be the TNA World Heavyweight Champion until the day that he retires, which was many years off as he is in the prime of his career. Roode was getting ready to leave the ring when the music of "Cowboy" James Storm played and Storm came down to the ring. Storm cut a promo about how throughout their run as Beer Money Inc, he got to know who exactly Bobby Roode was due to the long trips around the world. Storm said he looked at Roode as a brother, but quickly realized that Roode was like his former partner (Chris Harris) and nothing more than a little b****! Roode stated that he was the World Heavyweight Champion and didn't have to take the disrespect of Storm, leaving the ring. Storm told Roode that he can run, but Storm would get a one-on-one shot at Roode.. and he'd have nowhere to run! Backstage, Dixie Carter is shown walking backstage when she is approached by Austin Aries. Aries says the two haven't been formally introduced, so he introduces himself as the greatest man that ever lived. Carter says she knows who he is and compliments him on his run as X-Division Champion, but she says that she has an important person to see. Aries proclaims that nobody is more important than A-Double, Carter says that he can wait in her office and she would be more than happy to talk.. later. Carter walks off leaving the X-Division champion standing in the hallway. Robbie E defeated Brian Kendrick to retain the TNA World Television Championship : Brian Kendrick wasn't on the list tonight as Robbie E would pick up a victory in the "Robbie E Open Challenge" to retain his TNA World Television Championship following a cutter. Robbie E and Robbie T would celebrate the victory, as we went to commerical . -commerical -A video package aired hyping up TNA Lockdown in Nashville, TN with tickets being on sale now! Tara defeated Madison Rayne following the Widows Peak: Tara took the fight to Madison from the opening bell, not allowing the Queen Bee of the Knockouts to get in much offense. Tara made sure to send a message to Gail Kim with the victory following the Widows Peak. It was announced during the match that Tara would use a rematch clause at Victory Road against Gail Kim! Backstage, "The Icon" Sting is shown entering the office of Dixie Carter.. only to find Austin Aries sitting at her desk sipping on a glass a champagne. Aries welcomes Sting to the bosses office, asking he could help Sting. Sting declines stating he was looking for Dixie. Aries mocks Sting for not being able to find someone.. who was looking for Sting. Sting tells Aries that he isn't in the mood for his childish antics, that he has to talk to Dixie about something important. Aries laughs at Sting's comment, saying that just because it involves Sting.. doesn't make it important. Sting reminds Aries that he is in charge of iMPACT Wrestling, which gets another laugh out of Aries. Aries stands up and walks around the desk toward the door, remarking that Sting may not be in charge for long.. if the rumors are true. Sting questions Aries comment, but Aries sarcastically states he has somewhere more important to be. Jesse Sorenson defeated Kid Kash: Jesse Sorenson has been on a hot streak as of late, becoming the #1 contender at Against All Odds. Sorenson would battle an old enemy on this episode of iMPACT, as Kid Kash keeps being a thorn in the side of Jesse. Kash would almost pick up the win with a power bomb, but Jesse proved to be "Texas Tough" with a kick out and would go on to win the match following the "Texas Tough" (Inverted face lock spun out into a DDT). Austin Aries was on commentary during the match, but wrote off Sorenson as being on a "lucky streak" despite the victory. - commerical - Dixie Carter was standing in the ring when we returned from commerical break, stating she wasn't going to wait all night to talk to Sting.. and called him to the ring. Sting came down to the ring to the delight of Carter and the iMPACT Wrestling fans. Sting went to speak, but Carter said she wanted to talk first. Carter explained that while she doesn't like Bobby Roode being the corner-stone of the company anymore than Sting or the fans, she realizes that Sting has become to personally involved in the World Title picture. Sting shakes his head no, denying that he is too involved. Carter says that it is time for Sting to make a choice regarding the future of his position in TNA Wrestling. She says that Sting can either remain as a general manager, but not allow it to become personal and be impartial... or Sting can resign as general manager and return to be an in-ring competitor. Sting says that he can do both, but Carter says that isn't a choice despite the cheers of the fans.. she says either Sting can make the choice.. or she will. Sting seems to ponder the two options for a moment.. before stating that he loves being the general manger, but.. his first love is between the ropes! Sting gives a big speech about how his blood starts flowing when he's in the ring so his choice is to return to in-ring action on a full-time basis. The crowd goes wild.. as Carter and Sting embrace in a hug. Carter than states with that decision, she will announce a new general manager in a few weeks.. but first, she is going to announce that there will be a four man tournament to find out who will face Bobby Roode at Lockdown! She announces that "Cowboy" James Storm will face Bully Ray and Kurt Angle will face.. "The Icon" Sting. The finals will take place at "Victory Road" with the winner going on to "Lockdown". Backstage, Austin Aries is approached by the TNA cameras and is asked about his thoughts on Sting's return to the ring. Aries brushes by them and refuses to respond, but they follow him and keep asking the same question. Aries turns around and snaps that he is the X-Division champion, the greatest man that ever lived, and isn't going to talk about some old man taking away main events from Aries! Aries walks away from the camera crew as we go back to the ring. Samoa Joe & Magnus defeated Matt Morgan & Crimson to retain the TNA World Tag Team Championship: In a rematch from Against All Odds, Joe and Magnus put their tag team titles on the line against the team of Crimson and Morgan. Morgan and Crimson could never get on the same page which cost them any shot of regaining their championship belts. Joe and Magnus would win following their snapnare and diving elbow combo on Morgan. Following the match, Crimson yelled at Morgan for losing.. and would end up spearing Morgan when Morgan pie-faced him! The fans boo Crimson for turning on his partner, but Crimson flipped them the bird and left the ringside area. -commerical -A video package airs with comments from AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels, and Kazarian about Kazarian's change of attitude due. Styles says that the only reason Kazarian would ever align himself with Daniels, was if Daniels had something on Kazarian. He promises that he would find the reasoning behind it and get his friend back. Daniels says that nobody will ever know the truth besides Daniels, Kazarian, and a "third party". Backstage, Kurt Angle reacts to being placed in the four-man tournament to see who will face Bobby Roode at "Lockdown". He says that he has defeated Sting before and will do it again then win back his TNA World Heavyweight Championship. Angle states that tonight's main event against AJ Styles will prepare him for the match in a few weeks on iMPACT Wrestling against Sting. Garret Bischoff defeated Gunner:: In a rematch from Against All Odds, Gunner and Garret Bischoff face off but it wouldn't take long for the match to come to an end as Gunner would get himself DQed when he would use a chair on Garret. Eric Bischoff would tell Gunner to "end him" from the ringside area, to which Gunner would do as he drug Garret up the ramp and to the top of the stage. Gunner would power bomb Garret off the stage, sending him crashing down to a table below. EMTs and trainers would rush to Garret's aid as Eric Bischoff mocked Garret from the ramp. -commerical - AJ Styles defeated Kurt Angle : It was then time for the main event of the evening, as "The Phenomenal" AJ Styles would face off against Kurt Angle. The two have faced off many times in the past which made this match one for the highlight reel with multiple reversals. An amazing reversal would come when Styles would attempt the pele kick, but Angle caught the leg of Styles and put him in an Ankle Lock. This would make Angle the only person to reverse the pele kick, but Styles would fight to get to the rope and get a rope break. Angle would hit a series of German suplexes before going to the top rope for a moonsault, but Styles rolled out the way which caused Angle to crash and burn. Styles would hit the "Styles Clash" on Angle soon after, but Angle kicked out! Angle would fight back and nail the "Angle Slam", but Styles got his foot on the rope for another robe break. The end would see Angle place Styles on the top rope and Angle would attempt a hurricarana, but Styles would catch Angle and nail the "Styles Clash" from the second rope to win the match! Styles would celebrate his victory until Kazarian attacked Styles with a steel chair. Kazarian would keep the assault going as Christopher Daniels yelled for Kazarian to keep hitting him. Daniels would get in the ring and hold Styles up for Kazarian, allowing Kazarian to nail Styles right in the head with a chair.. busting him open. Daniels would hold him up again.. but Kazarian refused to hit him again. Daniels tossed Styles to the mat and got in Kazarian's face about it, before snatching the chair away. Daniels yells that if Kazarian refuses to follow his commands one more time, that he'd ruin his life. Daniels saw that Styles was getting to his feet and Daniels cracked Styles over the head with the chair one more time. The show closes with Daniels standing over Styles, while Kazarian held his head low.

TNA/iMPACT Wrestling News
- Garret Bischoff was written off TNA television as many within creative thought he was too green to be used, which Dixie Carter agreed with. Garret was given the option to move to Kentucky and work in Ohio Valley Wrestling, which he agreed to do. Eric Bischoff wasn't pleased when he found out that Garret was being taken off television. Eric is expected to be pulled from television until a new angle with him is found.
- The status of Ric Flair in TNA Wrestling is also in question. Flair's contract is up in a few weeks and many belive that Flair won't re-sign with TNA Wrestling as this would allow him to appear at WWE's Hall of Fame and set-up a possible return to WWE.
- TNA is going all out to make their Lockdown pay-per-view weekend be a major deal in Nashville. There are multiple billboards in the city, many talents will be doing media rounds up until the day of the pay-per-view, and there are many celebrities confirmed to be attending including country stars Eric Church and Darius Rucker. They will also kick off the show with the National Anthem being performed by a major country music star, which will be announced on next week's episode of iMPACT Wrestling.
- Austin Aries is said to be a "key player" in a top storyline coming in a few weeks. Plans can change.
- International superstar, Justin Tyger will receive a tryout with TNA/iMPACT Wrestling at "Lockdown" in a dark-match before the show. They will set the cage up following this match during a live pre-show.

TNA Impact Wrestling: Thursday 16th February 2012...Nice opening promo with Bobby Roode opening up the show and talking about Sting and taking on all odds. I liked this storyline. Did like James Storm coming out, I love the Beer Money Inc rivalry, as predictable as it will end with Storm taking the TNA World Heavyweight Championship at Lockdown in April. Robbie E beating Brian Kendrick to retain the TNA World Television Championship was a fine opening contest, didn't do too much for me though. Seems like you're keeping a hold on Kendrick, which could be good, but I'm still not sold on E. Tara beating Madison Rayne wasn't too bad, I swear we've seen Tara and Gail Kim a lot before though. Unless that's just me. Sting in Dixie Carter's office was a nice segment, liked the interaction with Austin Aries. Jesse Sorensen not getting injured is always great. Good win against Kid Kash, do something good with Kash, I'm a big fan. Aries on commentary despite just being in Dixie's office? Huh. Samoa Joe and Magnus beating Matt Morgan and Crimson in an Against All Odds rematch was great, good defense of the TNA World Tag Team Championships. I hate the Crimson and Morgan alliance. Liked the video package revolving around AJ Styles, Christopher Daniels and Kazarian, just wish there was an interview instead of this vignette though. Garrett Bischoff beating Gunner was what it was. Glad that Garrett was killed off, too. And lastly, AJ Styles beating Kurt Angle accomplished the task of main eventing. We've seen these two fight too many times though, I feel like Roode and Storm should have remained in the focus. The aftermath was pretty brutal, too. Overall, not a bad starter show. I'm not a fan of the lack of involving several big names, particularly Bully Ray, Hulk Hogan, Jeff Hardy, et cetera. I know they've done the split-names-over-two-tapings thing over the years, but that seems to be decreasing as of late, and it effects the ratings in the long run. Additionally, don't take Eric Bischoff off of television, he just killed Garrett, you could easily find something for him to do without removing him for some amount of time for no reason.

iMPACT Wrestling on SpikeTV 2/23/2012 Orlando, FL iMPACT Zone The show kicks off with a look back at last week's broadcast, with Sting deciding to give up his General Manager spot to return to a full time in-ring competitor. Anthony Neese vs. Brian Kendrick ended in a No Contest : Neese and Kendrick started the match, but it only took a few moments for Bully Ray to head to the ring and attack both Kendrick and Neese. Following the assault on the two X-Division competitors, Ray cut a promo stating that he was taking over tonight's episode of iMPACT Wrestling in protest that he wasn't given a World Title shot by his "buddy" Bobby Roode. Ray got a steel chair from ringside and sat in the ring for a few minutes, until "Longnecks and Rednecks" play bringing out "Cowboy" James Storm. Storm tells Bully Ray that he's a fool for thinking he was going to get handed a world title match, which Ray informs Storm that Bully's always get stuff handed to them. Storm smirks and says that Bully was going to get something "handed" to him.. an ass kicking! Storm knocks Ray with a right-handed and the two begin to brawl, until TNA security runs down to break it up. The two are separated for a few moments, but they quickly break-away and began brawling again. The situation is finally calmed down and Bully Ray is taken to the back. -commercial-We return from commercial with James Storm being "escorted" through the backstage area by security guards. Storm marches down the hall into Dixie Carter's office and says that he isn't waiting "a few weeks" to face Bully Ray, that he wants him tonight! Carter agrees to the match, but Storm doesn't want just a normal match.. he wants Bully Ray at his own game.. a street fight. Carter agrees to the stipulation and makes our main event official! Mark Haskins and Douglas Williams defeated Hernandez & Anarquia : Mark Haskins and Douglas Williams debuted as a tag-team on iMPACT, facing off against the former tag team champions of Hernandez and Anarquia. Mike Tenay made note on commentary that Williams and Haskins had been working as a tag team over in the United Kingdom over the past few months, thus giving them some experience as a tag team. The experienced gained paid off as Haskins and Williams would pick up the victory following Haskins hitting the Shooting Star Press on Anarquia for the victory! The two celebrated on the ramp, while Hernandez yelled at Anarquia for losing another contest. A video package airs of Jeff Hardy being helped out of the iMPACT Zone at "Against All Odds" and taken to a local medical facility for a knee injury. It was announced Hardy would miss 4-6 weeks due to the injury. Hardy proclaimed in the video package that he would come back better and stronger than ever, making it clear that when he returned.. he was coming after Bobby Roode and the TNA World Heavyweight Championship! Crimson defeated Brother Devon: While Devon gave Crimson a heck of a fight, it was obvious that Devon wouldn't be the one to end the undefeated streak of Crimson. Crimson took all the offense that Devon could throw at him, yet keep on coming back. Crimson would pick up the win following a spear. Following the match, Matt Morgan came down to the ring and went after Crimson, but Crimson bailed from the ring preventing Morgan to get his hands on his former tag team partner. Backstage, Bully Ray cut a promo about the main event against James Storm tonight. He said that Storm was out of his redneck mind, if he thought Storm would be able to beat Ray at his own game. Ray said it wouldn't take long for him to finish off Storm, because he's the biggest, baddest, toughest, MFer in pro-wrestling! - commercial -"The Phenomenal" AJ Styles made his way down to the ring, still in pain following the attack by Daniels and Kazarian last week to end the show. Styles proclaimed that he doesn't know what has gotten into Kazarian and he wants answers, but he isn't the only one. Styles calls out Traci Brooks to the ring and informs - those who don't know - that Traci is the wife of Kazarian. He said that since Kazarian doesn't want to listen to him and be a man, maybe he'd talk to Traci. Traci didn't have time to speak as Kazarian came walking down the ramp with a purpose. Styles and Kazarian yell back at each other, with Kazarian stating Styles has made this situation personal. The two were about to come to blows when Christopher Daniels came to the ring and said that since Traci was here, maybe it was time to reveal to the world what Daniels had on Kazarian. There was a look of distraught on the face of Kazarian, telling Daniels that they had a deal, but Daniels says Kazarian broke the deal last week when he refused to hit Styles with the chair again. Kazarian asked Daniels not to say anything, which Daniels agreed.. saying he was going to show the world. A video rolls on the "DixieTron" of Kazarian getting "friendly" with Brooke Tessmacher before turning back to the ring, showing a heart broken Traci Brooks. Kazarian attempts to apologize, but Traci just leaves the ring. Daniels says that Kazarian did this to himself, to which Kazarian ends up decking Daniels! Kazarian and Styles have a brief "stare down", with Styles telling Kazarian to go talk to her. Kazarian leaves the ring as Daniels pulls himself up by the ropes and yells Kazarian will regret it. Daniels turns around and gets hit with a forearm by AJ Styles! Styles leaves the ring as we go to another commercial. - commercial - Backstage, Traci Brooks is shown leaving the iMPACT Zone with Kazarian right behind her. Kazarian asks for her to stop, but she refuses and says she doesn't want to talk to him. Kazarian apologizes and calls it a "lapse in judgment", but Traci just gets into her rental car and leaves the iMPACT Zone. TNA X-Division Champion, Austin Aries defeated Eric Young in a non-title match : Young came with with a "clean shaven" look, to which Taz said that Young wants to refocus his career on winning championship and matches.. yet he thinks shaving his beard will help. It didn't help tonight as "A Double" would go to work on the former X-Division Champion, Eric Young. Young almost picked up the victory though, using a small package on Aries but it wasn't enough. Aries would pick up the win following the brain buster. Following the match, Aries cut a promo and proclaimed that he would be the longest reigning X-Division Champion in history.. but he would also make it clear very soon that he is a main eventer! He told Jesse Sorensen that at Victory Road, he will learn why "A-Double" is the greatest man that ever lived. Backstage, "The Icon" Sting is shown watching the show in his locker room when Bobby Roode walks in. Roode proclaims that he isn't here to fight with Sting, he just wants to talk to him. He informs Sting that he made the wrong decision last week by returning to the ring as a in-ring competitor, which Sting denies. Roode says that Sting has no shot at ever taking away his TNA World Heavyweight Championship, saying he isn't as good as he once was. He says Sting should have kept the comfy job that Dixie Carter handed him on a silver platter, because he wouldn't last long in the ring. Roode would mock Sting by telling him, ta-ta for now before leaving. The TNA World Tag Team Champions, Samoa Joe and Magnus cut a promo backstage about the lack of competition in iMPACT Wrestling. They proclaim that there are no real tag teams in the company for them to face, thus they want Dixie Carter and management to find a solution and bring in some real tag teams. Gail Kim & Madison Rayne defeated Sarita & Rosita to retain the TNA Knockout Tag Team Championships : The fans weren't big fans of neither of these two teams walking about champions, but they warmed up to Sarita and Rosita trying to take the titles away from the "Queen Bee" Madison Rayne and Gail Kim. It wouldn't happen tonight though as Kim would pick up the win for her team following the "Eat Defeat" on Rosita. - commercial - Backstage, James Storm comments that Bully Ray may have all this experience in street fights, but Storm has much more valuable experience.. bar fights! He said Ray may be good at using tables, ladders, chairs.. but it takes a special kind of ass-kicker to win a fight using a pool cue and a beer bottles. He says that Ray won't receive his TNA World Heavyweight Championship match, because Storm is going to knock his lights out and advance to Victory Road. A video package airs announcing that Montgomery Gentry would kick off Lockdown with the National Anthem. "Cowboy" James Storm defeated Bully Ray in a Street Fight : These two rough and tough brawlers took the fight to each other.. before the opening bell. Ray would attack James Storm during his entrance, leading to the match being started out on the arena floor. The two would brawl throughout the iMPACT Zone including in the crowd. This wasn't a falls count anywhere match, so Ray nor Storm would pick up the win at this point. Storm would get a big advantage when he hit a hip toss on the steps leading up the the bleachers of the iMPACT Zone. The two would finally brawl back toward the ring with Storm tossing Ray into the ring, while Storm got a variety of weapons from under the ring.. including a pool cue. Storm would break the cue across the skull of Ray and go for the cover, but Ray kicked out. Storm would keep the assault going with big right hands to the skull of Ray, but the Bully would fight back with rights of his own. Ray would take the advantage with a thumb to the eye of Storm, before hitting a huge lariat for a two count. Following a few more minutes of brawling, including Storm being busted open by a cheese grater, Ray would bring a table into the ring and powerbomb on Storm through the table! Ray thought he had the match won, but Storm kicked out to the surprise of Ray. Ray would pull Storm to his feet, but Storm pushed him off and nailed the "Last Call" out of nowhere. Storm would collapse on Ray for the victory! An almost lifeless James Storm was helped up by the referee and had his hand raised in victory, as he would advance to Victory Road to face the winner of Kurt Angle and Sting! The show fades to black with Storm standing in victory. (c) TNA Entertainment, LLC 2012

iMPACT Wrestling on SpikeTV 3/1/2012 Orlando, FL iMPACT Zone iMPACT opens with a look back at the brutal main event between "Cowboy" James Storm and Bully Ray, which saw James Storm pick up the victory and advance to "Victory Road". The music of "Cowboy" James Storm hits as Mike Tenay and Taz welcome us to the show. James Storm comes down to the ring and cuts a promo about how last week was just the first step to get back the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. He proclaimed that it didn't matter if it was Sting or Kurt Angle standing across from him at "Victory Road", he was going to run straight through them and move on to Bobby Roode at "Lockdown". Backstage, Kurt Angle reacts to James Storm comments. Angle states that Storm is too confident that he will win at "Victory Road", but he won't win.. because Kurt Angle will. "The Icon" Sting walks up in the shot and says that Kurt seems so sure of himself, but Angle hasn't even earned the match at "Victory Road". Angle smirks and says that it's a sure thing that he will beat Sting.. again.. and walks away. Samoa Joe [w/ Magnus] defeated Mark Haskins [w/ Doug Williams]: While Williams and Haskins think they are ready to face Joe and Magnus for the tag titles, Dixie Carter placed Haskins in a singles match with Samoa Joe to see for herself. Haskins put up a great fight with some back and forth action with Samoa Joe, but at the end.. Haskins would fall victim to the Muscle Buster and be pinned. Following the match, Alex Shelley appeared on the stage and said he heard the tag team champions little speech last week about wanting some "real" competition. Shelley made a few jokes about how the thrown together tag teams wants real competition, before announcing that if they want a real challenge.. then that is what they will get. He announced that on this past Monday, Chris Sabin was medically cleared for in-ring competition following his injury last year, so Shelley was there to challenge the tag team champions to a title match at "Victory Road" to which they accepted. -commercial break-Backstage, Doug Williams and Mark Haskins are shown in the trainers room, the trainer looking at Haskins neck. Williams cut a little promo about how it isn't right for Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin to think that after a year of not being a tag team, they were going to jump to the front of the line. Williams proclaimed that he was going to see Dixie Carter and get this "situation" fixed. Jesse Sorensen defeated Christopher Daniels : While Austin Aries seems preoccupied with "The Icon" Sting, Jesse Sorensen is very focused on the X-Division Title match at Victory Road. Sorensen took a heck of a beating from the former X-Division Champion from the opening bail, but wasn't giving up easily and would reverse the "Angel's Wings" into a pinning situation, but only got a two count. Sorensen would pick up the victory with "Texas Tough" to gain the pinfall. Following the match, Kazarian came down to the ring and attacked Christopher Daniels until TNA security came down to break up the attack. Kazarian attacked the security guards to get his hands on Daniels again, until AJ Styles came to the ring to pull his friend off of Daniels. Kazarian would wind up decking Styles, who would pull Kazarian off again yet this time got in his face.. allowing Daniels to escape. Kazarian attempted to leave the ring but Styles grabbed Kazarian and wouldn't let him leave the ring, as a few TNA security guards came to the ring and lead Kazarian out of the iMPACT Zone. A video package airs promoting "Victory Road" on pay-per-view. The music of Bobby Roode plays, but Roode doesn't appear as as gentleman wearing a suit appears on the stage. The gentleman introduces himself as Bobby Roode's lawyer and announces that Bobby Roode would not appear on iMPACT until after "Victory Road" because of the "liability" it is to have the champion appear on television when they have had four people gunning for a shot at his championship. - commercial break - Tara defeated Sarita : In Knockout action, the #1 contender had a tough challenge ahead of her in Sarita. Tara and Sarita would exchange in a back and forth contest, before Tara would be able to pick up the pinfall, following the Widows Peak. Tara celebrated her win and made a motion that the Knockout Championship was coming home with her following Victory Road. A video package of Mr. Anderson beings to play following the match. It appears to hype his return, until Anderson appears and talks about the latest censorship by SpikeTV.. such as bleeping out Anderson's "favorite word", a**. He says it's just the first step of SpikeTV censoring iMPACT Wrestling and it's viewers, asking what would the censor next... but Anderson wasn't going to stand for it. The camera zooms out to reveal Anderson standing in front of the SpikeTV offices. "To be continued.." Robbie E defeated Scott Steiner to retain the TNA World Television Championship : Robbie E would throw out another TV Championship open challenge, which was accepted by Scott Steiner. Steiner would have the match won following a series of belly-to-belly suplexes, but Robbie T pulled the official out of the ring to stop the count. This would result in Robbie T being thrown out of the ringside area, but it was enough to distract Steiner allowing Robbie E to connect with a cutter for the victory. Backstage, Austin Aries cuts a promo about Jesse Sorensen and their match at "Victory Road". Aries states that Mike Tenay and Taz can proclaim that he isn't "focused" on Jesse, but they need to realize that he is the greatest man that ever lived which means he doesn't have to spend countless hours obsessing over some rookie getting a title shot. He does state he will soon prove to the world why he SHOULD be the main event of Victory Road. The cameras turn to Dixie Carter's office where Mark Haskins and Doug Williams are complaining about The Motor City Machine Guns coming back and jumping to the front of the line for a title shot. Dixie says that she is all about giving the fans what they want which is pro-wrestling, therefore at "Victory Road" The Motor City Machine Guns will face Williams and Haskins with the winner going to Lockdown to face Samoa Joe and Magnus. - commercial break - "The Icon" Sting defeated Bully Ray In the main event of the evening, "The Icon" Sting had a huge warm-up match for Kurt Angle on next week's iMPACT, facing Bully Ray. The two men battled back and forth with Ray getting the upper hand for a few moments. Ray would hit the Bubba Bomb, but Sting kicked out. Sting would fight back and score the win following the "Scorpion Death Drop". "The Icon" Sting celebrates his victory over Bully Ray, but it is short lived as Kurt Angle appears from the crowd and hits an "Angle Slam" on Sting. Angle trash talks the motionless body of Sting, as the show closes.

News & Notes
TNA/iMPACT Wrestling released Anthony Neese, Anarquia, Devon, and Scott Steiner following this past week's iMPACT. Steiner requested his release from the organzation.
The Robbie E Open Challenge at "Lockdown" is being teased on TNAWrestling.com as a "former champion".
iMPACT will see a "re-organzation" of sorts in the upcoming weeks, building toward "Lockdown" with an approach of only using talent that are in a storyline instead of trying to use everyone on the roster.
Sacrifice will be held in the iMPACT Zone in May, but TNA will announce the location for "Slammiversary" during the "Victory Road" pay-per-view.
