I've been watching all the early Wrestlemanias heading into WM28, but does anyone else think these are the coolest? I would love to see them make a one night only return. Obviously not for a Wrestlemania, but maybe another Old School Raw if they do one.

The WM III and VI carts were the shit, I wish they brought them back at x-8, but no luck there. While an Old School Raw with the carts would be fun, they need to have a WM return. Especially with all the stadiums they run for WM nowadays.

They only had the carts at those WM's because if the superstars walked down the aisle it would of added on hours to the shows.

Not sure if true but I've heard WMIII had them mainly because Andre couldn't walk down that far, so they ended up using them for everybody.

The only thing I didn't like about the carts was people throwing trash at whoever was in them the ENTIRE way to and from the ring.

Like someone else said, the main reason they did it was because Andre could not walk down to the ring on his own

The carts looked so great. During larger than life events it made the superstars larger than life. Back in those days as big events as Wrestlemania's were they only had a few larger venue shows. Now it's all stadiums. There's no stand out shows. Summerslam 1992 had a large, almost Wrestlemania III like entrance way and some guys' entrances had to be jobber-like entrances with them already in ring like Beverly Brothers, Repo Man, Rick Martel and Nailz because it did take a while for the wrestlers to get down the aisle. Money Inc. who were the first to come out took a while and just when you thought they'd be in the ring they still took a while.
Now for the big events such as "Big Event" in 1986, Wrestlemania's III, VI and VIII and Summerslam 1992 they had platforms where the ring was on. I really wonder why it was like that. It looked cool but I don't see a reason why they would need it.
