I'm just curious maybe someone was watching when it originally aired but every time wrestlemania 5 shows up on demand there is a weird cut during pipers pit. Does anyone know what happened or why the cut exist. One second piper is talking to brother love the next brother love isn't even in the ring.

I think it's because Morton Downey Jr was on there, and he got sprayed with a fire extinguisher, and so they edited that part out of the promo.

what eventually happened was, Love tells Piper he's " a little bit Scotch", to which Piper replies that's what a Scotsman drinks,son... then Piper says if he has any Scot in him,then he's naked under that skirt....eventually Piper grabs a hold of it...they tease for a few seconds a will he or won't he rip it off scenerio,then Piper rips Love's skirt off,and he goes running up the aisle...then Piper turns his full attention ot Downey.... this sequence was also cut from the DVD release too...  |

Why the crap would they edit that out? it is quite frigging jarring....i mean,he's doing his thing with BL , then suddenly he's gone and he's starting with Downey...ESPECIALLY jarring to someone who saw it on PPV when it first aired! i honestly can't think of a reason as to why they would remove that part.... we can still get Miller Lite catfight girls in their bra's as well as Evening Gown matches where they're stripped down to nothing,that's still fine,but Pritchard's underwear covered ass is off-limits?! that's just...just weird.... |
