Anybody interested in competing in a Customania? I saw some chatter in the discussion thread about it, this board seems deader than normal so the turn outs may or may not happen, and may be the thing to get people back into it.
Reply to this post or shoot me a pm if interested and what class you'd like to be in.
Heavyweight - Top notch veteran customizers, lots of sculpting and painting usually involved
Intercontinental - Mid tier customizers, moderate painting and sculpting.
Cruiserweight - More for beginners, or those still working on their skill sets.

I'm sure if you get enough members to participate in Customania you might have to start
splitting Cruiserweight, Intercontinental or Heavyweight into divisions with some separate
custom items/figures due for that division. For example
Cruiserweight: 1. Create a custom Chris Jericho figure with logos and hand paint with this attire. Or
2. Create a custom table with some hand paint with any design freestyle
Intercontinental: 1. Create a custom Rhino figure with hand paint, logos, etc with this attire or
2. Create a custom Guitar with string broken with any design freestyle.
Heavyweight:
Create a custom Ultimo Dragon figure with hand paint, logos etc with this attire with an accessory item of your choice.
This might become a official thing if people are into it. I don't might
hosting the events if it isn't to much of a hassle.

Why would he ask about divisions if the plan wasn't to use them? The stips need to be more open than make a Rhino. There needs to be some flexibility so people can have fun making them |

And the creativity aspect is limited by your stips. Unless two people agree to make a single wrestler on their own, it is better to paint with a broad stroke. Don't limit what is made by stipulating the accessories either. Anybody can make a Jericho with a table because you said so, but if the stip was WCW CW champs then someone could willingly make a Jericho reading off his 1001 holds and put full effort.

And id say I'd be cruiserweight since I haven't gotten into sculpting. Just paint, hair swaps, part swaps.

I understand your point and if that's the rundown of how it will be set up then I'm all for that. It was just an basic concept just incase things don't work out. More like a custom showcase matches if you will, I though something like this would be implemented nicely into the custom board since how it works so effective in one particular thread. Perhaps Great Gonzo can provide more insight on how everything will be stabilized. |

I'd say I'm in, however, did last year's voting ever conclude? Also, "going all out" last year was actually frowned upon. When I decided to make Kronik (yes, both) that was seen as cheating. I guess it would be better to put forth a 50% effort?

That's because when the contests started there was an agreement to make one figure to judge head to head against another unless the stip specified otherwise. |
